121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dose drugs have an advantage on human being. on: March 11, 2023, 08:03:58 PM
This is why there are different classification of drugs such as stimulant and downers. That depends on what the user is using, coz some are using it not to abuse it and not also for medication but sometimes to boost whatever their body needs.

There are people who are using stimulants to boost their energy while taking an exam, due to cramming and stress their body is already showing signs that it's about to rest but they are feeding/sustaining the energy needed to finish the task.

While there're also people who're using downers to relieve stress and relax. To let their nerves calm down and take a rest

One of the reasons why research shows that they didn't get addicted the drugs but the benefit or feeling they got from the drug or often times called abusive drugs.

I think it's best that this thread should be locked, and I think majority already wants this thread to be closed since it's already obvious.

Let this be a reminder for newbies who wants to explore and learn, or could serve as a warning that asking one's seed phrase is a big No-No.

You are the ones responsible for your own assets and security.

124  Economy / Economics / Re: If they have the solution, why are banks still failing? on: March 11, 2023, 05:00:20 PM
It's nothing new that banks try to antagonize crypto due to their opposite aspects and service they provide. They make themselves look good coz, how else could their users trust them if they don't even themselves and their service?

The fall of SVB is unprecendented since they're one of the pioneers in crypto industry correlated to their infamous connection to web related developments. For sure there're so many experts here when it comes to financial analysis and economy, so I'll just read what interesting opinions you could offer to the table.

Right now the market is not even stabilized and there still a big chance that it'll fall down or maybe up, but one thing is for sure and there would be people taking advantage on this ruckus.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: March 11, 2023, 03:56:41 PM
As most poverty stricken country in this world just like mine, it would only normal to say that money is the most important resource you need in order to survive.

I have seen a lot, from young to old people who already finished their studies that wanted to find their jobs to build their career but still struggle due to the lack of financial support. As the world nowadays, it'd be hard to make money without money as an initial investment excluding the fact that you can gain money by providing services or selling your skills. If you want to learn or earn, most of the times the requirement is a certain specific condition that also needs money.

Let's hop into the world of priorities such as food. As what I've said above, us living on the poverty stricken country could feel the changes on the economy by experiencing expensive necessities such as food. With inflation leading the prices to skyrocket, we are left to find alternatives just for us to have a good meal on our tables.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 11, 2023, 01:24:56 PM
Op the objective of this forum is not for job purpose, the objective is to impacts the knowledge of Bitcoin from one person to another person, so it's the objective while bitcointalk is been created, the aspect of job online, I think we have many things someone can do online and get paid, some people get paid through article writing and some programing and online tutorials based on the viewers, but understanding the forum from aspect of been paid is a wrong conception,  because  the authorities of this forum can decide to eliminate signatures any time, some of us who registered far back 2014 and 2017 could not know that signatures campaign was in existence while they have participated for years back.

I am already aware that there'd be people who'd say "there're so many out there, you'll just have to find out". I had learnt it a hard way that in this forum there's no such thing as spoon feeding that's why I took my time the other day to look for those said jobs.

So if ever one of you guys know such jobs or sites, can you list me what's your favorite ones?

This is why I said those thing above. So does that mean this isn't Bitcoin related?

First and foremost, the reason why I posted this here is to provoke discussion as intended for this board.

Next is because I want to know the opinions of other members here on this forum or if they knew something outside of this forum related to crypto. As a matter of fact, it's true that there're so many crypto related jobs outside of this forum, but as much as I know that here in this forum you are prohibited on promoting shady sites right? so you should also know better that one of the reliable sources of information should be here.

Third one is, if I wanted to find job shouldn't I just post it on the services section? If I wanted to, I could just google it all the way, but the question is, "is it reliable?"
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin one day become the global reserve currency? on: March 11, 2023, 12:12:48 PM
In other words, the user base is so small that it does not motivate merchants to even think about offering such a payment method.

Exactly. I hate to say this but right now even if we say that lots of users now rely in online payments, there have been a few merchants that are accepting crypto as modes of payment.

Adding the fact that big companies that offer similar services like those small merchants aren't fully convinced on using cryptocurrencies, some countries too didn't implement crypto as a legal tender. If I were a merchant too, I wouldn't risk my startups by doing that. I would instead use my own money to buy crypto as a personal investment.

Crypto right now IMO is still at the early stages like a child ranging from 6-12 years old. Based on what we I can see on my country's economy, it is still not yet ready to adopt crypto, and is still on the stages that our country is slowly adopting to the new norm which greatly revolves around computer.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 11, 2023, 11:13:26 AM
If you're looking for a long-term position and you have the necessary knowledge (coding, marketing, writing, etc.) maybe you can check this site (never used it myself): https://www.cryptojobs.com/

It has multiple job offers from other platforms (exchanges, news sites, etc.).

Thank you for this one. I'll check this out later. This could also serve as a reference to other people reading this thread.

Those interested can streamline there search within this job listed below
1. Cryptocurrency Trader.
2. Cryptocurrency Analyst
3. Blockchain Architect
4. Cryptocurrency Consultant
5. Cryptocurrency Marketing Manager
6. Cryptocurrency Researcher
7. Cryptocurrency Security Specialist
8. Cryptocurrency Customer Support
9. Cryptocurrency Legal Expert
10 . Cryptocurrency Developer; The development of decentralized applications, smart contracts, and cryptocurrency networks will be highly sought after by developers with experience in blockchain technology, cryptography, and coding languages such as Solidity, Python, and JavaScript.

As the age is now leading towards modern industry which includes crypto and computers, it would be strange if there're only few jobs that pays crypto as salaries. I appreciate the thought, thank you very much for listing all of the above.  Smiley
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 11, 2023, 10:38:25 AM
There are so many crypto-paid jobs out there, just like you said they always tell you. The only thing there is that you need to find your area of specialization and search for jobs in those fields.
I am currently earning on different paid jobs and working as a telegram moderator for over two crypto projects, for which I will be paid with crypto at the end of the week based on my performance rating. You can also earn money from crypto, apart from the signature you are wearing. You can list out your services under the service board, and you will be contracted for a job, and your means of payment will also be listed there.
Another massively paying crypto job I am also aware of is for those with developing ideas (web developers). Most crypto projects look for skilled individuals who can work from home and pay them using crypto.
So it's still the same as before. I know that there're groups that hires moderators in discord or in telegram and being paid by their personal tokens or it could even be either bitcoin or fiat.

IMO I would also choose fiat to pay as a salary for those jobs knowing that the volatility of crypto is unexpected. It would be a lie if I say that it could go to waste or it could become undervalued. In the end both the employee and the employer would have to decide which mode of payment they will opt, to ensure that both parties accepted the risk.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto related jobs on: March 11, 2023, 09:48:52 AM
Since May of last year, I have had the opportunity to rest and watch my surroundings and society. One thing I have noticed is that an increasing number of users are depending on computers as a source of income. Some of my neighbors, including some of mine, have begun working from home as virtual assistants, while others are advertising their services and selling goods online. It took me back to a period when I was still looking for job chances online and individuals still worked outside their home. I was curious at that moment and wondered if it was possible to make money while using a computer or if there were any opportunities. After several times searching, I came across this forum and started to do some odd jobs and services here. At one point, I thought that "is there any other platforms in which I could work and still get paid by bitcoin?". I did my research back then and found some platforms that offer such salaries, but of course I didn't try to work there since I am also hesitant if what they are offering is actually true, nevertheless I didn't bother proving the point of earning on those platforms. Why would I? When during those times there're so many phishing sites on a loose, one of my friends also lost a lot of his altcoins kept from his MEW due to such schemes.

After reminiscing those years, I suddenly remembered a question that bothered me before. It was the same question back in the day, and since today's age is mostly inclined towards computer and modern technology, I was wondering if there jobs that offers to pay crypto?

When I returned from my sweet vacation, I have noticed that there have been only a few campaigns running and there aren't that much jobs I see here on this forum, and so it makes me wonder if the question I have in mind few years ago would be answered today.

131  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 11, 2023, 08:47:54 AM
Well, the inflation in my country now is not extremely high but has already damaged the economy. The cost of living is increasing and does not seem to stop. Last week one of my friends lost his job after working in the same company for a decade. His life abruptly changed, putting him in a place where he could not support his family. If you were him, how would you survive this tough time ? As a friend, I am trying to help him as much as I can and meanwhile, I am planning to save more money to prepare for the unexpected challenges in my life. What about you ?
actually saving has been taught since we were small, the purpose of saving is to cover the cost of living which has become a minus because of one thing, yes, like current inflation, saving in small amounts or as much as we can, don't force it to reduce our daily food allowance just because we want to save money
I think food is important if you are spending extra amount on food, I was a person like that, and I have overspent on food, because I like to eat in nice places and that is a problem of mine, I hate cooking, I literally hate it, I would rather starve and go to sleep hungry then cook, which is a big psychological issue I know, but that is why I ended up overspending on food. If that is the case, then I think it is important to cut back on food spending.

However, nobody should be starving to save some money of course, that part is true because that is a basic human need and even medical condition if you don't eat well enough when you are capable of doing it.

That's the lifestyle you chose to pick, and it also your responsibility to sustain it. We cannot judge you or dictate what you chose as your means of living since you are the ones earning for your own keep. And yes! I also agree that no one should be starving just because you want to save money, and it may sound like a glutton to others but if you have the capability to get as much resources (money) to put food in the table then it's your job.
I remember a quote way back then saying, "Our job is not to judge people, Our job is to work to put food on the table". That's exactly how I see the situation right now.

Personally, I am the one always in charge in cooking, so I am a bit knowledgeable when it comes to family expenses regarding the ingredients and the food. In my country even if there's not that much inflation, I can still feel the changes/spikes on the food/ingredient prices. There have also been sudden spike of prices in all the basic needs and seasonings and mostly it would also affect the prices when you are out eating on the restaurant.

That alone is the reason why some of my friends are struggling to keep up with the prices, it's because some of them are also fired from a job in which they have been working in long time already, same with the OP. While most of my friends are working for just 2 years or more, that job already became their stable source of income, and now they have to go back to square one because of being jobless.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 11, 2023, 05:25:55 AM
Planning for your future specially when money is involved is really difficult for younger people, coz at thise times there are so many tempting things that you can do using your money. Only a few of youngsters would acually do those plans, while most would only plan withour execution.

There're also people who needs to learn their lesson first before they realize the importance of financial education and being prepared just in case something would happen. We were all experienced being young first, and yes me too I've been tempted by a lot of things in the past and somehow I regretted not buying the things I wanted before, but at the same time I didn't regret that most of the things I bought were all the things I needed before and up until now I've been using most of the things, still I could say it's a great investment.

Although I've regretted not investing too much on crypto, for me it is still an acceptable decision and would be willing to move forward with that lessons in mind.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you're so inlove with BTC on: March 10, 2023, 01:57:50 PM
~snip~People can still use their savings or free money to invest in bitcoin if they can manage their money properly. Usually, people will panic when the price of bitcoin starts to increase and start investing in it because they think the price will soon increase quickly, but that's not how it works.

I've said before that using savings is quite risky because savings are still needed for other purposes, but if the savings are really not needed for other things, then they can be used as investment money as long as they manage the money properly. Investing in bitcoins is quite risky due to rapid price fluctuations, but it can be very profitable for those who are patient and use a long-term strategy. If you expect a fast increase, the decline will also be faster, it's just a bull trap that traps someone to enter at a higher price. Don't panic when the price starts to rise or start to fall, just stick to the main strategy and goals.
And now the situation has reversed into a very deep decline compared to before. This is an opportunity for people to buy bitcoin at the current price because this is where we can enter the market and get into buying positions. After this decline, there is a possibility that the price will increase again and who knows, it is a sign of market recovery.

The current decline can be said to have happened quickly because this week, the bitcoin price could not reverse and made the price decline again. Hopefully, everything will be fine after this and the price can recover fully.
Over the past years, I think the price is pretty normal compare to hitting the all time low. This is based from the news I've heard during the time I was away on this forum and taking a break from crypto industry.

There're also instances in which, it is more profitable to just buy and hold for a longer term. Like you guys said it is much better to buy right now while the price is still low, and also if you're savings are intented for good investment. Personally, I would prefer to but something with a store value rather than let it sit on the bank earning measly amounts of interest. I could even use it to start some small business rathen than letting it rot unused.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping BTC in sovereign hands. Tales from the LA Fitness Sauna on: March 10, 2023, 11:52:59 AM
I have a couple of conspiracy theories that I have heard before, including Bitcoin being the currency that will be using during the new world order. It sure was entertaining to listen though.

There was also this one time when Bitcoin was associated by some weird android chips that will installed to a human body, and anyone who doesn't have that means he isn't registered as a citizen. An android chip is also equivalent to 1 address per person.

These stories maybe be made up or just conspiracy theories out of being imaginative, but sure it was fun listening to them to pass time.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: March 10, 2023, 10:30:18 AM
right now I see the price of bitcoin on an exchange which is 21750, and has decreased by approximately 6% and I want to ask everyone,
is it possible that bitcoin will return to the price of 19000? or after this decline bitcoin will go back up higher ,,,?

and also I want to know what caused the bitcoin price to drop drastically?

With the current value of bitcoin at 19890$, we are not sure if fud are going on about bitcoin or if there is something else related to cryptocurrency why the price of bitcoin has been dumped in the market.

We also don't know if, in the next few days, it will continue to fall until it reaches its bottom line price. That's why I think it's time to buy now and then hold, that's just the concept of buying here in the crypto world, right?

If you study the movement of Bitcoin very, well, you will understand one thing about bitcoin and that has been my bold statement about Bitcoin.
The statement is that within a permissible range or duration, anything is possible in the Bitcoin price going bullish or bearish.
When this topic was created asking if bitcoin can go as low as 19,000 dollars, some people didn't believe it will happen. But today bitcoin is within the range of 19,000 dollars.
What this means according to my above statement.  At 19k, 15 low and 25k higher is permissible and bitcoin can move in any of these directions.
It was always like this ever since the beginning of bitcoin. While some are already anticipating that bitcoin will go down the drain, after a few years it went up like crazy, so it's safe to assume that bitcoin will rise, not now but maybe in the near future.

Those who keep blabbing about how long will it take for bitcoin to rise are the people who have less patience and want it to rise as soon as possible. Keep in mind that you're not the only one in the market trading and dictating the price, if you are disappointed then better leave and do something. Again and again "the people are the market".
136  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Villagers welcome bitcoin ideas. on: March 10, 2023, 06:09:36 AM
How I wish our community would do the same, not just some seminars with ulterior motives and some investment schemes. This only proves that there are still who believes that knowledge is free in this world. Although it contradicts the idea that learning a new skill or knowledge needs money, but sometimes there are also free stuffs you can learn.

Just for example, there are so many places in the world that doesn't have access to internet, so even if we say that you can learn new and free ideas online, how are they able to learn it if there is no internet? This is mostly the case on low economic countries like mine. Doing this kind of free seminars can also broaden the perspective of the community and also provide them financial education.

139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Believe in yourself on: March 10, 2023, 04:47:39 AM
Sometimes self-confidence can also drop you into a big hole. Confidence can blind you from other people's opinions, other people's opinions can also help you to think from many sides. Thinking for yourself without thinking about the consequences is wrong.
Self-confidence is necessary but does not overconfident because that can make you get a problem. Listen to other people will help us to know if they can suggest a better thing to us. And if that suggestion really helps us, then we can use it for our benefit.
Over confident will bring us to losing , because we will not anticipate losing that may come instead we are only looking in single vision and that is not the right way to treat life and challenges .
That is right. We should anticipate overconfidence because that will make us feel superior to others and we can underestimate others who do not look can do like we do. In this matter, maybe learning to be wise will help us to control our confidence.
Arrogance destroys your ability to learn and think for yourself, if you are confident you know how to handle yourself properly. Being provoked and how you respond to it speaks volume of what you are. A person who is willing to learn and still exploring this wide knowledge on this world knows that there are still so many things to learn.

If you can't even believe in yourself who else will believe in you? You know yourself better than anyone, so you should be the first supporter for yourself. Being confident is associated with independent attitude, but if you let your struggles/achievement/success go to your head and your lesson in your heart, I'm sure you'll become arrogant, but if you do the opposite, you'll be humble enough to know that " we are all in the same game, just different levels. The same hell, just different devils".
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Education on: March 10, 2023, 04:19:02 AM
The two people who have helped me understand the rabbit hole more are Andreas Antonopoulos (@aantonop) and Matthew Kratter (@TraderUniversity).
(....)
Andreas Antonopoulos is the best example for me if you want to learn more about Bitcoin, and also if you take a look at Youtube videos by Andreas Antonopoulos and his books, it's all free.
Another thing I can share, Andreas Antonopoulos is the OG of Bitcoin. Before this guy is already speaking about Bitcoin and there were few people listening to him, this is before when Bitcoin is still cheap and not popular, but this guy still continued.
I have heard of his name way back and I remembered watching some of his educational clips back then, but after I encounter this forum I immediately switch my focus here since here nobody's going to coach you one-on-one, but instead you need to figure it out on your own. You can ask questions and they provide hints or step-by-step process.

I do learned a couple from his videos, but I do prefer it here since there is no "spoonfeeding" on this forum, and if you want to learn, you should do your own thing and explore.
