81  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: March 18, 2023, 05:53:26 AM
Cost of living here is high especially at this period when there is inflation. This make it difficult for poor and average people to get their 3 times meal.
The cost of living, which is often a difficulty for the poor, is because they do not have a place to make more money, so they really feel the effects of inflation and meet their necessities of life, such as eating three times a day. But as long as the poor people in your place can always be productive in working to make money, I don't think they will feel deep difficulties dealing with their current living expenses problem.

The role of the state is very important to ensure that everyone can live properly, unfortunately most countries make poverty a political tool to strengthen power, some even think that if the state wants to be strong then the state must maintain poverty, besides that the mindset of humans is very decisive in becoming rich or poor, most people are not willing to take risks making it difficult to improve their lives.
That's mostly what happened in our country too. Low economic country like ours always suffer whenever there's and issue on the economy such as inflation. Though middle class people and above doesn't feel that much changes us who are the very bottom of the ladder could literally feel it. Even a slight change on goods such seasonings and other vegetable really hurts our wallets. Right now it is hard to live a semi healthy lifestyle if your daily average wage is only $5-$8, coz it's not as if you're only paying to put food on the table, how about other expenses such as water bills, electricity and internet?

Before it was still manageable to get married at young age, but right now, even surviving alone is a big struggle, how much more providing for a newly built family? A lot of old people would say, stop chasing money and chase what brings you happiness, but nowadays I don't really think it is applicable to us, not unless we are born with a silver spoon in the mouth. I even tried to do some extra side hustles just to be sure to meet ends and even that still requires a lot of time and patience just to only survive. Cry
82  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Few ways we can better our society. on: March 18, 2023, 05:31:15 AM
Everyone of us constitute what a society us today, we must understand that we are all interdependence on each other directly or indirectly, the society is a place where the people lived together and share things like ideas, food, money and relationship in common, the peace inna society lies in the way we handles each others need in the society, that is also why we have some community heas that guide the evenly conduct of human affairs in the society for coordinate purpose.
The society is made of everyone of us and our environment. As part of the society we must make sure that we keep our society safe for everyone than not caring about other and there impact to improve the lives of others and the environ.

The society is becoming worse by the day and if we don't keep to rules and guard the everything for betterment then we might be doing the wrong thing because if things go wrong then, we all going to face it back to back like how people suffered during the covid-19 period.
Society is the larger unit while individuals is the contributing units to the larger unit. The societal overall standard is determined by the behaviour, acceptability and responsibilities of the individuals that makes up the society. Where everyone cannot be good and everyone cannot also be good.
But for a better society, the number of good should exceed the number of bad and this can be achieved by adoption of cogent and coherent laws that are maintainable and also flexible
As long as we all have different opinions being united will be a struggle. This is why we implement laws, rules and regulations in order for us to reach certain understanding so that different opinions may not lead to bigger events that could cause human extinction. I agree that we are part of a bigger picture and each one of us contributes the certain aspects, it is also true that it took us thousands of years to reach understanding we currently live today, but as far as I'm concern and what I can notice, people don't really care about other people if that person doesn't greatly brings benefit to them, like what you've said during the pandemic, we surely noticed that person's attitude varies differently, while there are people wanting to save their own skin, there're also who became the pillar to help someone in need. What I greatly realized during those times is that, the kindness of people would only show up once there is big event that involves survival and humanity, coz admit it or not, during those times that was the only time humanity showed what real humanity means.

Nigma draft too is so weak and highly reliable for their carry to farm full item in late game which they are always weak since their offlane can’t make a play like what 33 is doing. Nigma has chance with their line up on the last major. Wth did ATF doing on both games.
I agree the draft wasn't great and their role swap might've been an improvement but it isn't enough to bring in the result they're hoping for as the bigger issue of not having a good carry is still there.

If the odds are good enough next week I might bet on them again in their next series since they'll be up against Team Liquid.

Also, good to see OG get their first win but their tough schedule isn't over yet as they'll face Gaimin Gladiators next week and potentially go 1-3.
Their playstyle is the same from when they were before which is 4 protect 1 playstyle to let the carry farm, though it isn't bad before, now there are so many counters on that playstyle. The Old OG were even mopping the floor against them playing unorthodox style. Nigma's playstyle was passed down from miracle and it undeniable that there're only a few times that this kind of strat is effective against top tier teams.

Cases like this often happen, regardless of anything, things like this are very difficult to prevent as long as we always rely on emotions in the game. In the end, as you said, blaming the site is one of the most common actions taken because it is considered to hinder victory, even though it is. is just an alibi to cover up our frustration because we put too much emotion in the game which in the end looks for scapegoats in losing gambling.
Sometimes when you keep winning you tend to be too emotional while playing, just like what happened to me the other day. I was gambling for a measly amount of $5 and manage to make it into $2,000. I didn't stop there and continued playing, it reached $10,000 and was still enjoying the game, until I was on a lose streak and I only manage to stop when it reached $1,500. Though regrets followed me that night it was still a nice profit in the end.

Also when luck is smiling upon you, you must know when to gamble all the way, coz as far as I'm concern, luck also plays a big role when you are gambling.
Things like this are definitely bound to happen because of course we as humans always want more and are greedy, especially when we have made a huge profit.
Regret is definitely there but that is not an answer I think because indeed if we only regret but without any changes things like that will definitely happen again and again. At least there must be lessons that can still be taken so that we have more positive conditions even though it is likely to be repeated in a not short time but with the conditions that have been experienced at least we can remember that greed will not have a positive impact in the end.
btw from $ 5 to $ 1500 is also still a big profit, congrats on your big win buddy.

Cases like this often happen, regardless of anything, things like this are very difficult to prevent as long as we always rely on emotions in the game. In the end, as you said, blaming the site is one of the most common actions taken because it is considered to hinder victory, even though it is. is just an alibi to cover up our frustration because we put too much emotion in the game which in the end looks for scapegoats in losing gambling.
gamblers who cannot control their emotions are usually gamblers who always chase defeat and they will continue to bet with their emotions until the defeat is achieved. whereas chasing defeat will only be a waste of time. the longer you stay in the casino, the more you lose.
I agree with this, lingering in the casino for both offline and online is the same in the end only for defeat even though we might have won before.
This is where you have to be aware because sometimes things like this escape our awareness. we stop not only when we lose but we must also try to apply to stop when we win.

Quote
well, finally gamblers who always bet with their emotions will lose all their money and valuables. After frustration and stress, he will blame the casino or accuse as if the casino cheated him, even though it was his own fault, too chasing defeat.
This is where causes start to appear when we say we were trapped by gambling and feel cheated by it, even though we already had options before but we forgot so when we lose it's clear that there must be a scapegoat there to blame Cheesy right?
Thanks for the kind words. Still there're lingering regrets I have but only a little bit, coz what would've happen if I wasn't greedy that night right? or what could've I've done if I let my emotions get the better of me? Well, as you've said in the end it is still a nice profit and would love to experience it once more, but somehow I'm hesitating coz I'm sure it wont ever be the same like last time, and what would be the result if by doing small bets all my accumulated loss would equal to the amount I won from that night? it would look like I didn't gain anything. I'll just try again but I wont expect too much, maybe I'll get lucky.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2023, 03:27:08 PM

It's obvious that they haven't really played much as a team for long. Yuragi is also in a pretty terrible shape given how bad he plays and how many times he needed help even though the situation could have been avoided. Give it a few more games and I'm pretty sure OG will figure something out. They're up against Ooredoo Thunders and I think they could win on this matchup, provided that they catch that synergy and start rolling the ball before the enemy starts doing their own thing. Pretty sure Chu can do his magic and win with the boys.

I’m wondering what kind of magic Chu can do to overcome their Division giant. Pretty sure they can have a game against a division 2 team but the problem was OG didn’t catch up anymore on the meta compared to other team like Liquid, Tundra and GG. OG was left behind without an impressive supports. Most of the strongest team in their division has a reliable supports which they can give space to their carry to farm their item without the need to respond.

Reliable supports is what lacking on OG. OG has a complete roster, it’s just other team has an impressive roster that’s why they looks like Division 2 team now that always being outplayed and outdraft in every match.

OG is not the same anymore since their carry topson and ana is not on the team and also the complexity of their team does not exist anymore I guess they need to check first their team whats the wrong with it, imagine Team liquid right now just one player can change all the things happen in the game I guess if this might continue Liquid will manage again to be part of the back to back ti champs unless they can kick the tundra and TS right now.
Ever since the last TI micke is always on fire. I guess I could say based on my point of view that it is the peak of his career since he's playing top level gameplays, though there're times that his teammates are always there for support, it is undeniable that their synergy in those games are totally different from what they usually do few years ago. Even insania significantly improve and can be considered one of the best captains right now in dota 2.
86  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 17, 2023, 02:29:53 PM
A bot that makes sports betting predictions, according to the author of the first video, it seems to me that it may well be a useful tool that makes it easier for players to bet on a possible winner, because not everyone is deeply immersed in the events of different sports and an extra analysis will always be useful.

from my experience I would say that AI will not be able to bring consistent profits unless the person makes a combination of the results obtained from the AI with analyzes obtained by himself, I will give a concrete example: let's say I want to bet on the game between:

...
This would tell us that no perfect technology that could see what will happen next. Though we can appreciate how this AI has been created but when it comes to gambling, they are just like us humans and they can be wrong. At the end of the day, the house still makes money even though all gamblers will use this technology.

Because what I see is that everything that has been created has some limitations and so we can't expect AI's knows everything and is able to surpass theeir limitation.
Aside from that do you expect the house will be the ones receiving the loose ends? Of course not. AI is designed to help us ease our workloads, though there're attempts to integrate AI into an existing gambling platform I don't think it'll offer much results in a long run. There're also factors internal and external that can change the outcome of the games you've been betting, so it's safe to say that even with the aid of computer there's no guarantee which outcome you will receive. There's also luck in play when gambling, but there'd be that one person who will try hard to analyze the game results not as an addict but more on making gambling as a profession.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 17, 2023, 01:41:17 PM
Reference profits can be incredibly profitable. I know something about this. I once set up a code on a gambling site that was widely known, and it was used by new users for the first few weeks. The profits I've made from it are in the hundreds of dollars. Yes, it's not worth (in my opinion) to pursue individual referral profits without a base of viewers, fans who would use these codes. But it's definitely worth using it by inviting/encouraging a friend to play on the site where you play yourself. After all, gambling sites count these costs on their sheets, so why not take advantage of that?  Smiley
yes, anyone can earn from this referral bonus and it's only a side job and it won't waste time if you want to try it. but it's good to have lots of followers on social media so that at least it can be easier to get more followers who join to play on the referenced gambling sites.
Obviously, for someone who has a fairly large follower base, it will be very profitable for them to take advantage of the referral bonuses that are on gambling sites. But it is also true that it would be a waste of time if we only move alone, in the sense that we only rely on the people closest to us. The reason is not everyone close to us is a player, and sometimes they don't want to use our referrals even though they want to register.
There's nothing wrong with us taking advantage of it, but don't let us just focus on it because it would be a waste of time, we can put it on our social media and leave it without expecting anything. And even if there are many who use our referrals, it's a bonus from our efforts.q
Those referral bonuses are good when you have a lot of followers or fan base, but if you only have a few people then it'll be a waste of time, coz mostly people would sign up without using your link. They'd think, why should I bother using it when the ones using the main link will have greater benefit? I have also tried those methods before such as posting it on social medias just in case there's someone who would register, there're few who signup but maximum atleast 5 new users was all I could raise.

It's true that you can earn a benefit or two for by those bonuses, and we have tried that one or two times on different platforms, but saying it's a waste of time is also true coz you could've use that time to do something more productive rather than inviting people online begging them to register.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 17, 2023, 11:53:50 AM
In pursuit of financial freedom we later realize that we are exhausted by too many things that burden us. As they said money makes the world round, and it's true coz nowadays without money, you can no longer survive in this world. We seek money not only  for happiness but for survival, in the end we became tired due to extreme competition that we have to go through to earn money.

Nowadays getting resources such as money to buy our needs is very hard, lots of competition and so many competitors. Not everyone has the same opportunities, but we are all equal on the fact that we are all given the same 24 hours a day. Saying that we are all in the same boat is nonsense, as I've said, not everyone is equal to receive the same opportunities, that is why it's best to utilize what you are good at or what makes you unique. This topic is closely related to getting lost in your way in pursuit of financial freedom, but as long as you keep your feet on the ground while holding your head up, then you will be fine.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 17, 2023, 11:27:08 AM
If we let our emotions take control of our gambling journey, we will surely lose track. It is very important that we are capable of managing our emotions in gambling because it has a huge impact on our decision-making. Those who feel mad due to losses could have a bigger chance of losing more and in ending, they might only be blaming the casino for the result. We should be mindful of our every action and decision and focus on how gambling could entertain us. I think having the proper mindset from the beginning will be a big help.
Cases like this often happen, regardless of anything, things like this are very difficult to prevent as long as we always rely on emotions in the game. 91  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: March 15, 2023, 02:47:35 PM
~
I would not really advise people to just go out and take a loan to invest to Bitcoin. It is just way too unstable and volatile to risk any loan amount to crypto. My thumb rule is just use loans for anything that guarantees or at least "likely" to give you profit so that you could at least pay your loans at the end of the repayment date.

I recall already a lot of people that just went insane trying to pay their debts off and just can't get out of it.
Too many comments are saying the same thing, and personally I would also say the same. Getting in debt just because you want to invest is really not an option even if we say it's one of the store value asset or for a long term investment.

Much advisable to earn extra money intended for those investments rather than getting in debt just to have investment fund for the future. This is actually and literally based on one of my friend's experience.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there anything like Bitcoin savings? on: March 15, 2023, 11:21:27 AM
Some will call this a stupid question 😅 but yea, it's just something that came to my mind today after giving a lot of thoughts about Bitcoin.

Is possible to open a personal savings account in the bank and always send money to that account and when you are ready to collect the money, bank will give it to you, my question is, is it possible to also creat a Bitcoin wallet and always send Bitcoin to it as a savings? if you do that for some year without going back to the wallet, will anything happen to your Bitcoin or the wallet?

Nothing will happen to Bitcoin (except just increasing and decreasing in price) and your wallet as long as you take very good care of it and keep it in a really safe place. It is a very possible thing to do and as long as you can take good care of it, nothing will happen to the wallet even if you don't open it every day to see the amount of the balance. So what do you think is impossible in this case now ?

Because bank accounts are now also digital in nature because you can see and control them via a smartphone device in your own hands, as well as a Bitcoin wallet, if you use a hardware wallet, then you can of course take very good care of it and don't just store it carelessly if you use it. You use the wallet for Bitcoin savings in the long term.
In fact cryptocurrency and banking are two tools that cannot be separated because for crypto investments we need capital from banks and for crypto withdrawals we also need a banking account. But you can control both of them and you can take them at any time when you need them. It's just that if Bitcoin is true, as you say, there are increases and decreases in prices that we cannot predict, this is a risk. Banks and crypto have different mindsets, different goals and of course different impacts, crypto is the best, nothing can stop this, it's only a matter of time.
The scary part is that if ever there is a bank that would hold your BTC in which in this case seems impossible, for sure if ever the price goes down they'll surely refund you only a little bit of amount. Do you think banks would want to lose? before you could actually complain to them for sure they'd immediately cut the loose ends.

It also destroys the whole concept of decentralization if ever there is something like this. You should be your own bank although it is undeniably true that bitcoin depends on fiat.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my big losses (Gamble Responsibly) on: March 15, 2023, 09:59:37 AM
Do you know that gambling is capable of taking back everything it has given to you? You used 300$ to make over 400k and you believe that you can still make more? Bro gambling is sometimes like a spiritual place.

If you are not careful all the 400k will be gone in no time, this is what happen to those gamblers who won but don't believe it they just got lucky.

Accept that you got luck, doing so will wake up the level of awareness and you will be very careful on what to bet on next.

Thinking that you will not run out of luck so you will keep pushing yourself and continue instead of quitting and enjoy such a huge amount of winning, we can't really say, but it was a wasted opportunity.

If you know how to control and how to limit yourself, then for sure you are enjoying the amount of profits that you
can earn from gambling, but without that capabilities, only regret will be the next thing that you will know
after the game.
This is also why I was intrigued with the initial post from the OP and curious at the same time how he manage to accumulate such winnings. Though it's obvious that there is a winning streak here, the thought that it took a long time in order to analyze the games and the confidence to accept the losses which he can afford is not something anyone can do.

If it is regular person such as me, I would already be contented reaching $100,000 or $150,000. That really differs from every person coz even $50,000 amount is already huge enough profit for me. There will be time someday when I can happily wager that kind of amount.
94  Economy / Lending / Re: HEY PEOPLE POS I ASK ?? NOT SURE IF ITS RIGHT HERE HINT ME =) on: March 15, 2023, 07:46:56 AM
I didn't even fully get what you mean OP. What I understood based on your post is that you're only asking for money promising 10x the return which is clearly and investment fraud.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 15, 2023, 07:10:52 AM
Since May of last year, I have had the opportunity to rest and watch my surroundings and society. One thing I have noticed is that an increasing number of users are depending on computers as a source of income. Some of my neighbors, including some of mine, have begun working from home as virtual assistants, while others are advertising their services and selling goods online. It took me back to a period when I was still looking for job chances online and individuals still worked outside their home. I was curious at that moment and wondered if it was possible to make money while using a computer or if there were any opportunities. After several times searching, I came across this forum and started to do some odd jobs and services here. At one point, I thought that "is there any other platforms in which I could work and still get paid by bitcoin?". I did my research back then and found some platforms that offer such salaries, but of course I didn't try to work there since I am also hesitant if what they are offering is actually true, nevertheless I didn't bother proving the point of earning on those platforms. Why would I? When during those times there're so many phishing sites on a loose, one of my friends also lost a lot of his altcoins kept from his MEW due to such schemes.

After reminiscing those years, I suddenly remembered a question that bothered me before. It was the same question back in the day, and since today's age is mostly inclined towards computer and modern technology, I was wondering if there jobs that offers to pay crypto?

When I returned from my sweet vacation, I have noticed that there have been only a few campaigns running and there aren't that much jobs I see here on this forum, and so it makes me wonder if the question I have in mind few years ago would be answered today. I am already aware that there'd be people who'd say "there're so many out there, you'll just have to find out". I had learnt it a hard way that in this forum there's no such thing as spoon feeding that's why I took my time the other day to look for those said jobs.

So if ever one of you guys know such jobs or sites, can you list me what's your favorite ones?

OP all you have said is not different from the truth. Currently now the world is moving from analog to digital. Labour work force is quite gradually reducing as ai is technology is taking over  very soon human resources and work force would drop leading to job scarcity. People have stated Developing and building themselves to suit the current digital demand for labour. The digital market force is growing and taking its form and shape in the world hence the remote jobs as mentioned here by some forum members are in demand. As you can see there are lots of Crypto paid jobs outside this platform and I noticed members already posted some here for you to see. So I believe with those links, you can be able to do your own research with them. I  can see you are wearing signature and avatar which means you are fully employed into a running signature campaign that alone should be able to tell you jobs are still available.
Yes I am glad they did recommend me some, and of course I did checked those. As I've said that here in this forum there is no such thing as spoonfeeding. I've also seen lots job hiring related to crypto in which they demanded web developers and other technical staff.

Ps. I'm not a member of this campaign and I'm not getting paid wearing this one. I just didn't bother removing it, and I didn't see any rule that wearing the signature unpaid is prohibited so I guess it'll be fine.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my big losses (Gamble Responsibly) on: March 15, 2023, 06:41:16 AM
It's not wrong to ask advises regarding betting, but it is a big no-no to receive an amount in order to receive tips on how to and where to bet. I highly praise you for doing the latter OP.

It makes sense that most of those private messages wanted to learn and earn profit from sportsbet, but as the OP says there is no assurance as to which team would win in the next, it may be due to different factors or not, there're still possibilities of losing. By saying that you guys should be responsible on your bets, it's also indicating that whether you follow his tips or not it's your own responsibility if you lose. He has nothing to do with it, besides he isn't asking any service fee from that.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 15, 2023, 05:47:57 AM
-snip-
Responding to casinos that provide android applications actually it is not dangerous to download from the original source or from the official site.
But the Android application, in my opinion, is less interesting than gambling using a live website.
Because using Android, one cannot be satisfied with a limited display, unlike when using a website that is more flexible and has many visible features.
But maybe if gamblers want to gamble practically they will usually choose to use an Android application.
It is true that if you download a casino app from an official website there will be nothing dangerous but don't you have the point of view that many novice gamblers are careless and they are looking for an easier shortcut by downloading the app directly from Google Play and don't want to log in first? to the official website.
For those of us who have been gamblers for a long time and certainly have more experience, we will always be careful and it is not easy to make decisions, but for those who are beginners it is a slightly risky action.
If I myself would rather advise anyone to choose to use a website when accessing a casino so that it is more secure and avoid anything that endangers our money to bet.
A few of my colleagues before got their money stolen because of this newbie mistake. There was this famous gambling site in our area which is kind of shady to begin with, and they offer regular people who doesn't have that much money a chance to bet even in small amounts, but that was then they didn't officially announced that they have an official app from playstore. Lot's of my colleagues downloaded the app and tried playing it, it was then later announced that they don't have any relations with that app and would recommend to stay away if possible, but it's already too late for my colleagues all of their funds vanished while system was telling them it was on a temporary lock period to avoid excessive withdrawals. Up until now there's no news regarding the lock period and it's safe to say that their money is already gone.
98  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: March 15, 2023, 04:52:14 AM
As per experience, the longer the site exists the buggier and more traffic it gets. One of the reason is because of the increase of users. That is why I understand people who would say no matter what platform is it as long as it is running smoothly that's all they needed.
I also find it normal for the long running casino to have more users but the increase in Bugs? i believe that it will be lessen as time goes by because players will keep reporting and some has Bug hunting event to take all out.
Quote
We should also know that people nowadays gets bored easily, so even if they attract more users on that marketing strategy eventually they'd get bored and try new things that aren't common to them.
but in gambling what are new that can be offered? and also boredom in gamblers only comes when they kept losing mate but if they are winning? who would feel bored?
Exactly! But there're only few stories about those people who are constantly winning, instead there are bunch of stories you hear from every gambling platform about them wanting to gain back what they lost. The other day one of my acquaintance lost around $5,000 in just a few minutes in playing slots. Though it isn't that much for other people, here in my country it's already considered a lot. Some of us who were even watching him play told him to stop playing already after winning $2,000, but he didn't listen to us.

Now what he has in his mind is to regain it back coz he regretted it for being greedy. Though it is irrelevant  to being bored, once he reach the point where he could control his emotions like he did in the past coz I've known him for being a gambler, for sure he'll get bored on that game and will try to look for a new one. It's just us who regrets that big amount to be honest.
It is not possible to win constantly at gambling even if he is a professional gambler. And it becomes more difficult when one plays games such as slots, dice, plinko etc. But games like sportsbet, blackjack etc are somewhat predictable and professional bettors and those who understand them win most of the time but even here it is not 100% sure that every bet will win. So start gambling thinking about the constant reward from gambling.  And choosing it as a profession is a big foolish. So gambling should always be taken as fun
Agree. I'd rather bet on those things I can see like sports and E-sports than making a profession as an analyst on those unpredictable games like slots and dices.

Here in my country, due to gambling being illegal. People even in my area are inventing ways to gamble, they'd even play on some suspicious sites as long as they can bet, and mostly those bets not that expensive so even a regular person could bet and it's easier to understand, rather than betting at the online casinos in which it requires understanding and a bit costly, they'll just choose this even if it means they heavily rely on luck.

That friend of mine that I mentioned above also won last week on this small bets in our area and it's also quite big enough to be considered a small win. The only gamble that is legal in our country is those e-games that are legally registered and those lotteries. Other than that the rest is already not recognized.

100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 15, 2023, 03:25:57 AM

I do see that Donaire will win this fight as he's facing a not ranked boxer here. Not degrading Santiago here but there's no big achievement yet he did even though he's currently at the peak of his career.

In this case, he can still show his skills and promote his next fight with lots of sales because we all know, he still has that flash speed and huge power when it comes to kinds of opponents like Santago. It's really hard for Donaire to retire because as of today, there is no Filipino boxer who is more famous than him who is still active because others are just a bunch of still climbing the ladder. He worked hard to get to where he is right now and to fully use it to his advantage until the end, it's just one of the wisest decisions in his life that he could ever make. Maybe he still can fight for another 3 or 4 fights if he easily wins this one.
This is why this fight is so important for the future of Donaire, a clear win will dissipate all the rumors about a possible retirement and his fans will be more at ease knowing they can still watch Donaire fight professionally for a few more years, but a difficult win or a defeat will only increase those rumors, and while I think Donaire has enough to beat Santiago it is not clear to me if he still has a high enough skill to win easily due to his age.
Records alone are in favor of Donaire, but in terms of potential as an underdog lots are betting on Santiago. Though it is still unclear, but surely enough when the odds are out it'll be in favor of Donaire.

Fans are also anxious about this announcement since there are already speculations that he will retire if lose this fight. Some even says that due to his age, it'll be a big problem for him. But personally I would like him to fight for more and will be supporting him. His fight against Inoue is really a glimpse of him hitting his limits, so I hope it'll clear everyone's minds if ever he'll win this fight.
