121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit.net exchange - legitimate or not ? on: February 13, 2018, 03:55:22 AM
incorrect login or password.I reset the password, I am asked to enter the code 2fa.mais I have not activated. the support yobit does not respond since 4 feb 2018. help me please
There are sometimes difficulties on mobile page. Did you try already to login on PC site? I had no problems to reset password without 2FA. But a friend tried to register via smartphone and has a dot in his email address. They didn't accept that on mobile but on his PC. He could successfully sign up there but can't login on mobile. Anyway they not only have problems with their support and are far away from a legit exchanger in my opinion.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is back on: February 13, 2018, 03:37:55 AM
Do you guys experience lag of putting orders after the Binance is back?

From time to time, on some markets it's taking up to 5 seconds to see my order...

ATTENTION

the user aceptamosbitcoin stole the user account in this forum.

You are using my name account.

I am already taking the necessary steps to be able to recover my account again.

Please ignore your comments or your signature is a scam.
If your account was really hacked, then you must post it in Meta thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0
Follow the instructions of theymos:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0
But it seems, that the real user already prooved his ownership besides he hacked your account AND Bitcoin address. If your account was really hacked, then find an older bitcoin address, that is staked here and that you can verify.
To OP:
I had looked at binance and was sure, that they would cheat, because the site was unready and TOS link on registration led to nowhere. I hope for you, that you will get access to your funds and advice you urgently to withdraw your funds as soon and long as possible.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pumpy Dumpy Group on Telegram for Cryptopia PUMP and DUMP bros on: February 13, 2018, 03:24:35 AM
You know, that pump and dump is a criminal act? When you are caught (and I hope, you will be) by an exchanger, your funds will be frozen, because you are steeling other people's money, who are cheated by your pump and dump.
124  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: buying bitcoin using the mobile credit on: February 13, 2018, 03:02:48 AM
We are now live in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Slovakia, and Spain - try it here: https://coingate.com/buy-bitcoin-mobile

Let us know your countries and we'll check if the service is approved for them! Smiley

What kind of verification do you need for exchanging mobile credit (prepaid credit) to crypto and what limits do you have? Minimum - Maximum. There should be a difference between prepaid credit and contracts on verification.
125  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Warning] About Coinomi on: February 13, 2018, 02:57:31 AM
Thank you so far. I almost got it. But the Coinomi seed is not particulair of 1 (coin) blockchain. Bip0032 says that the seed is translated trough the masternode.

Is the seed (phrase) of Coinomi a bundel of seeds of diffrent coins you are holding in your wallet? I mean Coinomi has no masterode, so where does the unfoulding/translating of the Coinomi seed take place if it contain several blockchain seeds/keys Huh
Good question. I was also wondering about the seeds of the different coins. But seperate private keys of every  coin can be exported. I did that for example with ETH to import to myetherwallet.
126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: possible Poloniex leak/hack? on: February 12, 2018, 10:16:17 PM
But 2FA is not neccessary, if the email is secured. I didn't see any statement from Poloniex yet. Think, it is fake leak, but it is nevertheless a bad taste and I can understand prople, who withfraw their money.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tactics/Ideas on: February 12, 2018, 10:05:49 PM
1.Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, LTC and more cryptocurrencies, that are well established and hold them on long term.
2. Take small amount for day trading and try your own tactics.
3. Look around on ICO and try to get airdrops or buy with small amount.
4. Lend a little amount on Bitfinex or Poloniex.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price stability-The end of trading between platforms on: February 12, 2018, 08:50:09 PM
Bitcoin was in my opinion never the best cryptocurrency for arbitrage trading. There are other cryptos with faster transactions and low fees. But as soon segwit transfers are the new standard, also little differences could be worth for beeing traded between exchangers.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ebay and Litecoin coming together ? on: February 12, 2018, 08:44:27 PM
That is an interesting advice by your friend and seems to have substance. I researched a bit and found an article about an interview  with senior vice president from eBay and yahoo finance here:
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ebay-seriously-considering-accepting-bitcoin-164410989.html
But that was before the big drop and was not limited to litecoin.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: February 12, 2018, 07:17:55 AM
We saw, that governments are not able to "kill crypto". There could be only one scenario, that could harm the cryptocurrencies. When they combine enough hashpower to overtake the network of one of the leading cryptocurrencies and manipulate it. That would convulse the whole community. But also that would not lead to a "kill of crypto".
131  Other / Meta / Re: Chances of signature campigns being removed from this forum on: February 12, 2018, 06:59:28 AM
I can't imagine, that this will happen.
Maybe have a look on bounties
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
There are sometimes even bounties for newbies. But your main benefit here will be to learn several earning opportunities here f.e. airdrops, twitter campaigns, translations, speculation, microearnings and many more.
So you get worthful informations and you will get nearly all of your questions answered here. And you will get a worthful knowledge about cryptocurrencies, beginning at this section.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0
There are awesome tutorials on top of this section.
132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hashflare.io best mining pool setting on: February 12, 2018, 06:49:23 AM
What I see on your data and analytics, antpool seems to be the best since weeks. As I was active in configuring the pools (as hashflare still acted legit), it was most profitable to choose two pools and change them every few days. I will now try out your reccommendations.
133  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex verification - fake name on: February 11, 2018, 05:28:41 PM
You misunderstand, I don't want to continue to use the fake name, I want to switch to my real name.

From what I see, the profile verification allows you to set (change?) the name.
It would be the opportunity to set the correct/real name.

However, since I assume you have funds at Poloniex, I advise you to ask their support about your specific situation. But you'll need patience, a lot of it. I have a ticket waiting for 30 days already for an answer.

I would urgently advice you to first withdraw your whole funds. There are so many complaints, that funds are frozen because of different names or during verification process.
So
1) Withdraw your funds
2 ) In the next step you can follow the advice of preposter.
3) Make your ID verification and wait, until your ID verification went through.
4) Then deposit little funds, trade and try to withdraw.
134  Economy / Services / Re: Palm Beach - Signature Campaign (Hero and Legendary members) on: February 10, 2018, 07:49:05 PM
Funny how you are supposedly giving away one million dollars but can't pay participants who advertised for you an amount probably less than $1000.
Maybe exchangers have frozen their funds for cheating by pumping dumping?
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] paccoin a new SHA256D coin is being introduced on: February 10, 2018, 11:32:02 AM
I don't have a PAC wallet. How to redom the new coin from exchanger. Is there an address, where I can send the withdraw? What will happen after March 1st? How long can we get the new PAC coin? And is there also an Android wallet for the old and new PAC?
Ah ok, I anyways can't get the new PAC, because I only have 2M.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔻 VENTRIX 🔻 Public ANN 🔻 Investment Group Token 🔻 Pure PoS 🔻 on: February 09, 2018, 07:22:33 PM
I am wondering, that this coin is still traded. And to get 10% from zero worth coin stays still zero. There is nowhere an information, besides the info of the investbox on yobit. The dev seems to be inactive here and noone knows the project behind the coin.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Authorities with high computer capacity able to destroy Bitcoin? on: February 07, 2018, 09:14:44 PM
I think it's missing the point. Yes spending $3b might get you control of one currency - so everyone moves their money to another one. There are thousands of them. That's kind of the point, no-one can ever dominate all crypto even if in theory it's possible to dominate one.

Yes it is possible although it does not make any sense as people can migrate to Ether. A 51% attack means that a group of people in this case governments can control more than 50% of the network and are able to make transactions not valid if they decide to. Of course transactions that are made after they have taken control of the network. Also when this group is in control it can double spend the coins from transactions that were made when they are in control. This remains only hypothetical so far and I doubt we will ever see this attack in action.

It would make no sense from an economic point of view, you're completely right. But it would have a huge psychological effect, that would affect all cryptocurrencies.

The question is: Is it technically possible, that the blockchain can be manipulated under certain circumstanes like discribed in first post? If yes, why isn't it done yet? 3$ b is not much for those institutions. If not, how is the blockchain protected against an attack on that dimension?
139  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Bug - theymos read this on: February 07, 2018, 06:12:46 AM
I think mods have deleted his posts due to which activity declined. I think merit will remain the same as it was set up as initial merit per account rank when merit system started. Not a bug IMO.

Remember merit shown in account doesn't decreases. What shown in merit official thread shows a chart with required merit for ranks and not a merit count per account rank.
I don't see any bug and think, he is punished enough for losing two ranks. I also think, that merits are recalculated once a year, so that he will lose the rest of his merits.
Edit: But we could introduce negative merits, earned by deleted spamming posts.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10% daily profit? on: February 06, 2018, 10:07:10 PM
I just got an interest but they wrote no coins, what means, that interests will not continue. But there also stands "wait..." Can't I close then without losing my interests? BTW two of the three coins recovered a bit.
Edit: I closed and didn't get interests.
