121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ozcoin Litecoin Pool proportional payouts port80 mining available on: October 11, 2012, 06:39:55 AM
I gave this 48 hours.  I am switching off back to LTCpool until the promised redesign and errors are fixed. (I'll still keep oz on failover though)

where's ltcpool?

Sorry, it's litecoinpool.org and sometimes registration is closed, so keep checking back.

Aww, thanks.

Would you be willing to adjust the price to around 710 LTC? 750 LTC puts your coins at a 19-20% premium over spot ($34.49 at the moment). Also, remember, I'm still interested in the silver maples.

I agree with Dice and Smoothie.  You are also forgetting that it's free first class shipping, which is at least $1.10 for the first coin, plus packaging, and handling.  And, every dealer I know adds $3 to Eagles & Maples.  So, "no" is right.

If I may add a request to the redesign, one thing that bothers me with the stats in the sidebar is the way the information is presented.

I would like to know all of these, somewhere on the site, where it is deemed most convenient?:

  • Estimated earnings for the current block
  • Unpaid/Unconfirmed earnings
  • Total paid earnings
  • Last 24 hours paid
  • Lifetime paid earnings
  • Current round stale rate percent
  • Total found blocks

If they are already in the works, then my bad.  Thanks for reading.

Can we finally wake up and realize it's not safe to hold unregulated capital markets in centralized Web services operated by anonymous and quite possibly Nefarious individuals?

Literally in this case! Cheesy

I'm getting under 3% stales now.

I had a question about the automatic payouts. It says they "roll out every hour," and I assume that's based on the number I place in the box. I put in 10, and I have had over ten coins in the system for over six hours. (26 as of this post)  I'm guessing they don't "roll out" every hour then?

Should be running every 2 hours - we need to change the txt there
"coins in the system" do you mean "current balance"?

Yes, confirmed balance at the time was 26.xx and unconfirmed was ~7.xx, and the estimated was an additional X.xx for the current round.

However I noticed a w/d came in earlier. Was it automatic, or did you do it Graet? Thanks.
128  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 06, 2012, 01:08:27 AM
It was originally Doctor Nefario, as in the main character from Despicable Me...

And the fact that he aligned himself with a nefarious character shows something too.  I'm just stating an obvious curiosity.  Maybe it's just a coincidence.  The same coincidence as a "pirate" stealing your money? Wink
129  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 06, 2012, 01:05:40 AM
I urge everyone to never work with Nefario again. A Bitcoin stock exchange is a good idea, though. I hope that someone will create something better than GLBSE and MPEx.

Was I the only one who was reluctant to do business with someone who calls themselves by a version of the word Nefarious?

Definition of Nefarious: extremely wicked or villainous; iniquitous: a nefarious plot.

I was just curious, no need.

Not sure what you mean by "vintage".

No I use my bare hands. But I grab the coins by the edges. Done it many times.

What year are they?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] 999 Fine Silver Eagle 1 oz Coins for LTC on: October 05, 2012, 08:59:46 AM
Nice. What's the vintage? Also, do you wear gloves when handling them?

Datz cool.  Currently getting 15% stales at the moment.
But I will leave them connected for at least 24 hours to see what happens next.

PS: On the "my stats" page, it still has the bitcoin logo under "Total LTC Earned" area. Tongue

Yeah, I was having some errors with this, but since I am new to your pool, I will see about working with the settings a little more.

Getting a lot of (PrevHash-stale) right before a long poll.

It goes down for at least a minute a day for me.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Litecoin PPS Pool - We pay for stale shares! on: October 02, 2012, 03:49:56 AM
None of my miners switched over.  Wait, it must have happened when I took them offline for 5 minutes. Looks like I timed it perfectly w/o even knowing.

My asking price for the WoW/SC2 account is 10 BTC and 2.5 BTC for the D3 account. Defiantly willing to negotiate.

Defiantly? lmao
