It is too difficult for Arsenal to take the fourth place this week because there is a big gap between Arsenal and Tottenham's goal differences in the standings. Tottenham have 19 and Arsenal have 9 now. But Arsenal can at least have a chance for equalizing the points again in case Tottenham surprisingly lose against Brighton. But it is a really low probability to come true I'm afraid. Arsenal just had better focus on continuing to win games in the league and hope for an opening later.

Leipzig are going to be prepared much better for the Leverkusen game I think. Because they have eliminated Atalanta from the Europa League. And it must have boosted their morale a great deal. The Leverkusen game is still a very difficult one for Leipzig of course as it is even an away game. But it is one of their biggest chance to move one place up in the standings also. In case they defeat Leverkusen, they are two points ahead of Leverkusen in the third position.

It looks like it is the end of the road for Barcelona in the Europa League. Because we are nearly at the end of the first half now and they are 0-2 behind Eintracht Frankfurt. I don't know whether Barcelona can turn the game around at this point. They don't seem like they care about it so Frankfurt are very likely to advance.

Manchester City made it to the semi finals after having a really boring game. Atletico Madrid were so unable to show a solid performance against them and Manchester City didn't have big problems most of the time. But it was still risky for them as they tried to maintain a 0-0 tie until the end of the game. Manchester City are Real Madrid's opponent in the semi finals now. And I will be favouring Real Madrid to advance in this as I would really like to see Benzema having the prize of his huge effort.

Napoli had a really bad day against Fiorentina. Like most people, I wasn't waiting for them to even draw with Fiorentina. But they had a big difficulty in resisting Fiorentina in this game and it resulted in a 1-3 loss for them. It was a really important loss of points on the road going to the championship. Inter are ahead of them now even though they are sharing the points. Milan are still one point ahead of both teams and I believe that they will defeat Torino tomorrow and keep their advantage.

But I hope to see them competing well in their home game and eliminate their opponent as a result. Frankfurt are normally no match for them.

Losing a comfortable game like this will make things more difficult for them in the competition for the fourth spot in the standings. Manchester United were another hopeless team as they lost their Everton game by 1-0. Everton were one of the worst teams of the season and it was like a gift for Manchester United. But they just turned it down like this.
