121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero has the potential on: November 07, 2018, 10:52:58 AM
Does anyone else think monero has the potential to match the value of the other ‘privacy coins’ i.e. dash and zcash? The privacy features of monero, IMO, piss all over the other two, at least when they’re all functional. Sending and receiving
It does, it has the potential to become one of the biggest and most successful coins in the market, we all need privacy, so many of us came to start using cryptocurrencies because of the anonymity that came with it all but now there is less and less anonymity as there are more ways to track the transactions, that is why coins like monero are going to be very important because they offer privacy
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to deal with this mean bear market on: November 07, 2018, 10:46:26 AM
One of the things that you can do to make it easier to deal with is to make sure that you are not looking at the price of the coins all of the time, it is better to just take some time out of the market and not look at it, if the coin bulls then you are bound to hear about it. Just lock your coins away safely, go about with your daily life until there is another bull
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is responsible for the scam project on: November 06, 2018, 04:35:44 PM
Who is responsible for fraud projects. doesn't that cause a lot of losses and what punishment is worth.

There is no way to know for sure the people who are behind the scam projects, there are a lot of people who are into the projects and one thing the creators of the scam projects are good at is to make sure that they do not have their faces or any of their information on the project which makes it easier for them to bail on the project and take off with the money
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoin Newbie on: November 06, 2018, 04:28:58 PM
Just make sure that when you want to invest in an altcoin that you have a very good understanding of the kind of project that they are offering you, if you are not making a good effort to understand the coins then you stand more risks of investing your money into scam coins. Especially when you are dealing with new coins you have to be extra careful
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: November 06, 2018, 04:20:20 PM
Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks

The top ten altcoins are the most trusted altcoins in the market and if you are looking to invest in altcoins then you should be looking at those coins to invest your money into. The most trusted altcoins are coins like ethereum, neo, litecoin, monero they are the coins that people put the most money into when they are looking to invest in altcoins
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC scams on: November 05, 2018, 07:03:25 PM
I have seen evidence of some scams being run under the guise of KYC in order to gain your passport and government issued id's.  Be careful out there and remember that a lot of these coins end up being scams.  Do you really want them having your passport/photo identification?  This is how people fall victim of identity fraud so please think before sending your information in.

This is something that so many people do not seem to realize, they are all too eager to give out their identity all for the sake for a couple of coins but do not stop to think that their information is very sensitive and they are giving it out to people they do not know. This will only lead to a lot of people having their identity stolen because they gave out their IDs
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: November 05, 2018, 06:50:52 PM
I don't believe that any kind of analysis can predict the price of bitcoin since for all the time I have being in the market I have never come across anyone that was able to predict the price of bitcoin no matter what kind of analysis they were using to try to predict the price of bitcoin. The coin is way too volatile for that and the only way to know what happens is to wait and see
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: November 05, 2018, 06:38:30 PM
ETH will allow $2T of underground economy to become more structured (and possibly less underground) through DAOs.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/04/23/americas-2-trillion-shadow-economy-is-the-recessions-big-winner/

If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.

Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

I think that all of the coins are the future of crypto, even the ones that are going to die out will have played their role during the time that they existed in the market. Coins like bitcoin and ethereum are going to exist side by side as the future of cryptos since they are very good coins, there is no way that only one coin can serve the entire world
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: November 04, 2018, 01:07:20 PM
It does not really require and if you ask me I think the idea of kyc is ruining everything that the cryptocurrencies stood for when they first came out. There is so much that people want to do with cryptos but now we have to have our ids out with our transactions and that is making cryptos harder to use. If possible the whole idea of kyc has to be thrown out
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins brought you massive losses? on: November 04, 2018, 12:59:54 PM
Dear bitcoin community,

Because there are no gains without losses, I decided to open this thread in the hope that I could also learn from your mistakes when you chose the wrong coins in which to invest your money.

For example, I invested in December 2017 and I lost my money in following coins:

Bitcoin
Ethereum
Ripple
Bitcoin Cash
Dogecoin
IOTA
NEM

The only coin that brought me profit was NEO.

But what about you? What are the coins in which you lost your money?

All of the coins have at some point brought me losses, which is why I have decided that there is no way that I am ever going to sell coins when the prices are down. Even bitcoin has at some point brought me losses but that was when I was not being smart with the decisions I was making concerning those coins that I have, I am smarter now so I am making more profit than losses
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To invest or help with marketing? on: November 04, 2018, 12:48:36 PM
It is better for me to do both, in my experience if you find something good enough for you to invest in then you should never waste that chance. After I invest, I also do the bounty to make sure that I am actually prepared for more profit, sometimes just investing can not get you the number of coins that you would like to have so marketing helps to top it up
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to ETH? on: November 04, 2018, 12:40:26 PM
From last few months, the value of ETH is going down. It touched ATH $1300 but now the price of ETH is around $200. I am in big loss by holding ETH.

Why this too much dump? When we will be able to see ETH raise again?

The coin is just experiencing  a normal dump, all of the coins go through this at some point, they are dragged down due to people over selling their coins which affects the price of the coin hence the low prices we are seeing now. The good thing about all of this is that with a dump, there is definitely going to be a pump so it is just a matter of time before the coin goes back up

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: November 02, 2018, 07:27:58 PM
Hello people, i'm new in the crypto worlds , i have two questions please i need logic answers .

1 - will mining will ever stop Huh?

2 - what will happens when the cryptocurrency reaches it limits ( example : bitcoin 21M , ETH .... , and other curriencies ) ? will they win money after the currencies reaches its limits ?

thank you !

No not yet, there is still a lot  that the mining does for the industry and without all of the power that is being provided by the miners then there is no way that the networks will remain running. Until they move to a better way for the coins to be transacted and confirmed on their various networks then miners are always going to be important
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: November 01, 2018, 04:32:44 PM
Yes patience is the key but not just patience hard work, consistency and focus is what one needs to get through this also one has to be well informed that keeps you equipped thanks

Without patience then there is no way one can hope to make any kind of money in the market, as long as you are patient and make sure that your coins are safe then you have no problem with the market, you just have to be patient and wait for all of the prices to get better, once we get into another bull then we would all be making a lot of money
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Gold have a future? on: November 01, 2018, 04:31:02 PM
There is nothing that is stopping the coin from having a good future so I do not see any reason why the coin is not going to have a good future, as long as the team behind the coin keeps working to make sure that the coin stays in tune with the market and the coin can be able to evolve to the needs of people then I do not see why it won't have a future
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: November 01, 2018, 04:28:18 PM
Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?
Pls suggest...

You can buy bitcoin if you want to buy any kind of coins it is always the best kind of coin to buy when you are thinking of what to invest your money into. This day is a good day to buy coins and invest in them and coins like bitcoin are actually down now so investing in it is a good idea. You are always safe when you are putting your money into bitcoin
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in stablecoins?? on: October 31, 2018, 08:53:05 PM
I do, I mean now people are no longer using the coins in the market for currencies like they were meant for because of the fact that the coins are way too volatile to invest money into. Although it is hard to believe that there is any kind of stable coin since cryptocurrencies have a tendency of fluctuating all the time. Stable coins are a good thing to have.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart money is buying cheap ALTs like Cardano! on: October 31, 2018, 08:37:43 PM
This market is a buyers dream come true!
Pick good projects like Cardano with dedicated teams and vision!
Cardano should be listed on Coinbase soon!
I support this, if you want to make the most money then you have the best chance of doing so by investing in altcoins that are very cheap right now so that you know that they when they bull then you are making a lot of money from the coins. You have to make sure that the coins you are investing in are the ones that have potential so they don't die out
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is the year of altcoins on: October 31, 2018, 08:29:27 PM
So far it has been a very good year for the altcoins, the kind of exposure that the entire market got during the last bull market was one that no one expected would be that way and now a lot of people know about altcoins and know that they can make a good amount of money by investing in the coin. Most of them saw new all time highs this year
