121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 27, 2020, 01:29:48 PM
Hi guys, as you know some casino/bookmakers offer "player protection" giving ability to set up a stop loss limits.
What happens if a player lose more of this limit and continue to gamble despite any "protection"?
I've been gambling with tons of gambling websites out there but never heard of something like this. I've heard limits on wins but on losses I think not. Gambling site owners will be as happy when people lose tons of money in their site because it means more profit. And I think it isn't beneficial for the players too, because the urge of recovering that will keep them to bet more and more money that might exceed the limit set by the site which will surely cause more frustration on the player side.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for calling Bitcoin scam on: November 27, 2020, 09:50:14 AM
Trust in bitcoin is also one reason why they see bitcoin as a scam. Bitcoin lives in the internet and most people in our world still doesn't trust/believe anything in the internet specially people who are used to traditional way of investments and finance.

Lack of knowledge ...
We can't say lack of knowledge is one of the reason why people think bitcoin is a scam. I think what is more proper term to use is the lack of ability and will to study more about bitcoin. Most people believes what they read and see everywhere about bitcoin, and most of them are articles, news that are against bitcoin or with bitcoin related scams. People tend to believe fast with these news that's why they see bitcoin as a scam.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 27, 2020, 09:11:50 AM
Spending amidst this pandemic is not advisable unless its necessary and you needed the stuff you are going to buy. Hodling will be alot better if the money you put in bitcoin is just pure extra money for investment and you have extra money to sustain your daily needs.

This is a good question because I was very tempted to sell some my satoshis when price reached point of $19,000 usd.
You should not regret any of your decision in bitcoin and specially if you are trading right now. Just stay calm and HODL. Once bitcoins price breakout again the price will surely be higher than $19k from last pump. You will get nothing from regretting not to sell, all you can right now is stay positive and trust in bitcoin.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 27, 2020, 07:59:22 AM
I first got into gambling because of curiosity and interest.
I started gambling below legal age, and I regret that when I was like 15-16 I learn how to gamble in sports games specially basketball and esports games, I can say that I'm pretty much addicted back in those days. Spending all my allowance on gambling thankfully I hit my changing point when I learn how to invest money instead of just straight up gambling it. Now I just gamble some small amount and just some extra money that I have I don't risk my money that is reserved for trading and investments anymore.

So, what do you guys do with the gambling money you get when you win the bet.

Most of the time I just straight out cashing out my entire funds from a specific site that I won and just deposit all the money from my gambling win to my trading account. If I have won big amount I split the profit for trading and more gambling for different site, but if I only win a decent amount I just full on deposit it on my trading account.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 27, 2020, 12:51:58 AM
Most of the time I take profits in BTC. Risking my profits to generate more USD value whenever bitcoins price pumps after taking profit on any other coin that I'm trading.
If you are willing to take risk then convert it to BTC because by that you can either lose your profit or earn more profit whenever bitcoins price rise up and vice versa when bitcoins price goes down. Taking profits in USDT isn't bad at all anyways profit is profit if you want to go safe on your trade profits go directly on USDT then.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Want For Christmas? on: November 26, 2020, 03:18:42 PM
-Free Plays?
Free plays promotion with a minimal amount of wagered before you can withdraw is something I'm looking forward from some casinos to give. Free plays is pretty common but it's really hard to get some money from it because most of them requires huge amount of wagered before you can withdraw any of your winnings from the freeplay.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 25, 2020, 01:38:53 AM
Personally I consider roulette as game of luck, you just need a ton of luck in order to profit good from this game. I find roulette very hard to profit with compared to other games I played in various gambling websites, I have tried many strategies on youtube and just doesn't seem to work for me. Luck plays a big role here compared to other games, and if there is something to learn before playing on roulette is know your limits and patience. I've seen many people win and lose thousands of dollars on roulette.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4% return - compounded DAILY on: November 24, 2020, 12:14:50 PM
Is this a serious thing?  freebitco.in/ - scroll down 1/2 way of page.  EARN INTEREST ON YOUR DEPOSITS section.

Just curious, didnt see anyone mention, but 4% daily compounded interest is kind of exciting if it is legit.....any one any info?
I support the first answer above and i think that is legit,4% annually and not Daily.

Freebitco.in is a legit company that has been advertising in this forum and they will never promise ponzi thing towards the community.

But 4% is too small for me,i think i rather choose investing in altcoin.
4% may sound small, but if we compare that when you are placing and letting your money sleep in a bank 4% is already big in annual returns. If you want more possible profit from investing in gambling site you can always find websites that offer its users to invest into their bankroll, there is a good chance that you might win but there is still a chance also that you will lose some of your investment.

131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 23, 2020, 01:36:47 PM
I am not gambling whenever bitcoin price is pumping. I don't wanna risk any potential losses in gambling because it can be more profitable if I just hold onto it or just trade with it. That's how bitcoins price affects my gameplay, I totally stop for a bit and focus on more profitable ways to do with my bitcoins.

136  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: November 20, 2020, 01:40:27 AM
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
Back in 2016, my friend introduce me into cryptocurrency and this forum. Frankly saying I got in cryptocurrency because I'm in search for online income because back then I was a broke kid wanting to have my own money to buy my own things.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
I didn't buy any bitcoin until my first bounty pays off here in the forum. But after I learned trading I then invested my own money into bitcoins and starting trading with it.

3. How did you get on the forum?
My friend introduced me here, to be real he introduce me for the earnings here in the forum. But in the long run I value my learnings more that I learn here from the forum.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
The scams I think. Because of the people who uses bitcoin in dark and scam ways, people and the government sees bitcoin as a negative entity not wanting people to use it totally. Many people are staying away from bitcoin because of the scam news here and there where bitcoin is included.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
For most people I think advertising gambling projects isn't a harm at all. This can be a harm for different person, yes gambling is addictive but if you have self control you can stay away from getting addicted for sure.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
2-3 years is still short I guess. As for me I always ask some people whos been in the game for a long time. Some advices from the ones who really know the system is what a investor need to become succesful.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
For merit and signature campaigns, they didn't harm the forum that's for sure, instead it made the forum healthier because users are able to post good and meaningful replies/threads after the merit system is established.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
Everything here in this forum is helpful in many different ways. You can always find answers to what you are asking here because most of them are already posted in a thread and answered by hundreds of users.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
1. An mobile application is first for me since I'm with my phone most of the time and the forum doesn't have mobile view on phone browsers it'll be much easier to navigate in phone.
2. I think an enhancement in servers maybe? because there are some times that forum gets down and I'm unable to access it, I don't know if its my internet or the forum.
There are just 2 things that I want to implement here in the forum.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
I mainly trade on exchanges but I rarely invest in projects, because I have a bad history from investing in projects.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
A big loss of me is my wallet getting hacked. I lost about 6-8 bitcoins that time back in 2016. The saddest part about it is bitcoins price isn't that high that time and when bitcoin reaches $20k that's when it hit me really hard the mental stress thinking I lost like more than $100k

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
Some of them are decent I think, some are not.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
Privacy is important for everyone so I think its a vital necessity. We need to protect our own identity for our safety ofcourse.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
The bitcoin revolution by Alex Tapscott, Don Tapscott. Haven't finish it yet I'm just a few page in the book.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
For me, Bitcoin Ethereum and XRP will be good investment for the next 1-2 years.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
I want to see bitcoin beat its previous ATH by the end of 2020 and rise even more in 2021.

137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 20, 2020, 12:59:47 AM
I don't know about professional gamblers who are sponsored and got a salary from gambling.
I think they are athletes, not gamblers. people behind them who paid for them to play are the real gamblers I think.
Both of them are gamblers for me in a way, there is no difference to the one playing and the one who is paying.
I know few people who works like this, and we can consider youtubers too. Like prodigy and many more gambling content creator out there, they are sponsored to bet to a specific website and they get to keep a certain percentage of the total winnings.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 19, 2020, 01:00:26 PM
Meaning of gambling varies from person to person, one may take gambling as an entertainment some take it as a business and something to make money with. It just really matters on the person we don't see gambling in just one straight way.

It depends on the aspect you look from. I think gambling is an entertainment. In my opinion, the reason is its being exciting. Especially sports betting is very exciting and I sometimes like to bet on football matches and see whether I will win or not.

This is my stand too. It depends on the player how he manages to play. What motivates to gamble, me personally it's just for entertaining and to kill time. But for others, it's the pot money or reward that motivates them. It's for entertainment because you enjoy what you are doing whether you lose or not. Winning is just a bonus as I said before.

If your motivation is to gain more, I think you will end up losing all if you cant manage to control your emotion.
There are many people who are capable of earning extra money with gambling. And even some professional gambler consider gambling as their primary job. Motivation is not the only key lead you to success. Gambling contains many diferent factors such as controling emotion and money management. If you have motivation but you arent willing to learn more and change your perception, losing money is indeed the only result
They are gambling because they are getting paid and they are good at it. Some professional gamblers are sponsored and has salary just to play. Just like casino gunners. Yes it is possible to make gambling as a business but it is risky, you cannot win every time you go and play.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 19, 2020, 09:04:32 AM
I love this kind of gambling game here in Philippines. It is called "Ending" in our country and lucky 3. Same concepts as you stated.
Ending is played with sports event mainly in basketball you can choose in per quarter or for the ending score. Where in lucky 3, the winner is based on lotto rolls, get 3 numbers and you win a certain amount.

Any idea where I can do this online and they are accepting Bitcoin or other crypto?

And also, any ideas or strategy/tricks/advices to maximize profits and minimise risks by playing this kind of gamble?

Nitrogensports offer "Ending" game.
About for strategy, for me I preffer placing multiple bets in both games. Since there is a huge multiplier it is worth the risk for me and minimum bets aren't that high too.
140  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anyone using crypto exchange wallet on: November 19, 2020, 05:37:14 AM
Mayroon po ba kayong mai sa suggest na crypto wallet exchanger na maliit lang ang minimum required amount para mag exchange ng different coins?
3 masusuggest ko sayo kabayan. Una is Coinsph, easy to use at trusted. Second is si Abra wallet. Mas maayos dito kasi mas mababa ng konte yung fees sa pagsesend ng cryptocurrency pero di naman sobrang laki ng difference kaya pwede mo itry parehas. Last is kung exchange ang gusto mo Binance and pinaka masusuggest ko sayo, no questions and doubt Binance all the way.
