1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy Bitcoins? on: June 17, 2016, 08:37:02 AM
If you live in germany you can use bitcoin.de.
It works best if you open an account at the fidor bank at the same time. All you need is your personal ID card.
But it takes a few days to get opened.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins price moving so fast! on: June 16, 2016, 05:47:24 AM
We cannot predict .. what we can do is just to hope that it will continue to rise up   we should wait until halving comes.

Exactly. Halfing day will be an interesting point in developement of bitcoin.  Unfortunatelly I see the price drop a lot after that.
Everybody is expecting somethinmg special to happen that day. And when it does not happen, some disappointed moods will push down the price.
1203  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 15, 2016, 08:20:27 AM
this would be a great option for people who are porn addicts . lol .
Yeah I agree that Bitcoin and porn could go well together, to be able to pay some sort of member ship with Bitcoins could attrct soe more users.

I think that the potential in the cam section is not used by far.
I know only a few smaller sites that accept bitcoins, while the larger players are still focussed on credit cards.
If that would change they could reach out to a much wider range of users.
1204  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: June 15, 2016, 08:17:00 AM
Bitcoins would require verification before we open a wallet and the price would be as stable as USD, EUR with few cents up and down daily. We could use it to trade in forex which is a positive and then we would also be able to secure our bitcoins incase of a hack, scam or fraud.
I am also thinking like that, if the governments accepted bitcoin as a legal currency for their nation then it will be secured from scammers and hackers, and government will establish tools for its security and no one will be able to do any fraud.
It would mean that a lot of banks become more and mor interested in bitcoins.
Could it mean that they run their own nodes, and would that lead to more centralisation or decentralisation?
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you like to see Bitcoin accepted? on: June 15, 2016, 07:39:37 AM
I'd like to see it either accepted at E-bay or at some other sort of online trading site.

You can use a buyer proxy for that  Wink

Ebay is too tightly attached to paypal for it to ever accept bitcoin as payment.

Some sort of alternate trading site would be good then.  I think it might outcompete e-bay if it cuts out the transaction fees that paypal charges.

paypal also makes certain sorts of trading difficult, trading in alcohol and tobacco, for instance, cannot be done with pay-pal as far as I am aware.

Someone created a craigslist type site called bitlist.
i think in the future there would be many places where we can buy things just with bitcoins maybe in supermarkets already or game shops in real life that would be great dont you think so.

A similar site to ebay with the possibility to pay with bitcoins would be great.
All I know in that direction is the openbazar client, which that is not as site but a computer programm that has to be installed. If i understood it correctly.
1206  Other / Meta / Re: how to upgrade my rank in btctalk faster so I can earn bitcoins? on: June 15, 2016, 07:36:23 AM
I think it's that simple:
Without donating there is no way to speed up your rank over the 14 points per week.
1207  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: CoinJoin: Bitcoin privacy for the real world on: June 10, 2016, 09:00:17 AM
Bitcoin gambling sites are entirely functional as (probabilistic) mixers, if you trust the gambling sites.

Wanna mix 10BTC? Just make a hundred 0.1BTC bets at even odds.  50 of them pay out double (minus the house cut) and 50 disappear.  So you get your 10BTC back, minus the house cut, and the house cut in that case is just a mixing fee.

But that's not really what coinjoin is supposed to accomplish.

In this case I would be just too scared to loose 75 or more of my bets.
That would be a relatively high mixing fee. Personally I would not take that risk.
1208  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Towards better consumer protection in bitcoin on: June 10, 2016, 08:58:05 AM
If you lose your card, you're not going to lose any money as it's going to be taken care of by your bank.

The bank takes care of it by taking the money from the merchants, who now raise their prices to offset the fraud. You now get to pay higher prices for everything because credit card fraud is so pervasive. You think you're getting "protected", but really you're just paying for it up-front in fees and higher prices.
That's more or less a myth. The percentage of CC transactions related to fraud is tiny, look it up. Sure there are merchants whose business model puts them at a high risk for such fraud but those are also a tiny percentage of the market. The assertion that all prices are jacked up because of fraud is a vast generalization at best or a fabricated myth at best.

At the moment, when a bank raises its fees I think it's due to the economic situation in general.
The interests are low, so they search other ways to increase their income. I don't think that fraud cc transactions have much to do with that.
1209  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: June 10, 2016, 08:24:31 AM
My prediction: In short term Bitcoin will rise till halfing, but then dropp down agian, for about 150$.
On the long run, let's say for the next four years, bitcoin will rise to 1500$ (next halfing).
1210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will reach $4000 after halving ? on: June 06, 2016, 07:37:39 AM
In previous halving price moved $10 to $1000 then dropped to $200 & steady for a long time
So, growth = $10 X 20 = $200

Simple calculation

After this halving price will go $200 X 20 = $4000 ?

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

Well, such a large pump seems unlikely at least for now. However, a strong rise in bitcoin value should be recorded after the halving. I would say that would be at least $200.

But maybe 4 years after halving, we'll see a price of $4000. Nobody really knows.

I would not go that far, but I'm calculating with a rising pitcoin price to about 750$. And then a decrease in price. To what level I'm not sure.
What ever, it's interesting to vollow the price developemen, cause it's changing every day.
1211  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen after the halving? on: June 06, 2016, 07:32:24 AM
I think the price is going to rise till the halfing. Everybody is expecting that something like a miracle is going to happen after halfing.
I don't believe in miracles. And when the miracle does not happen, people start selling bircoins again what will lead to a decreasing price.
1212  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is advertising on forced clicks sites like BitForClicks worth the investment? on: June 05, 2016, 04:34:42 PM
Payments for clicks seem to be no good advertisement.
Faucets work that way, and I think google adsense has its reasons why they banned most of the faucets in their system.
1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: June 05, 2016, 04:23:24 PM
Okay, so whats surprising is that people look forward to lite coin, when ETH is the new hype right now lol.

I guess we all see ETH not much of a value since its unlimited supply lol.
unlimited supply?? why?

ETH is very unclear about how they plan the supply of new coins, and they don't seem to ever have a stop to new coin production, so there will always be new coins produced.

Unlike bitcoin, which is very clear about the distribution method and when it ends.

I would like to know as well how there can be an unlimited supply of ether.
Always thought it would be very much like bitcoin, based on a blockchain and the hype at the moment is a simple pump effect by some people in the background.
1214  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: June 05, 2016, 02:56:04 PM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

My first problem same with you, in my country stores have not received the bitcoin as a payer, while if it is just shop online shops. And second in my country still lay about bitcoin and also branded as criminals or corrupt currency with money laundering. therefore no legitimate decision of the government about bitcoin. thank you

Your first problem is the problem of majority bitcoiner here. unfortunately 99.9% users not able to use bitcoin at live. but it doesn't mean that we should stop adopting bitcoin or stop using bitcoin.
we have lots of alternative options to spend our bitcoin.. as OP mentioned a site for bill payment, we have many sites and services to get our daily needs with bitcoin. and if these services don't work in some countries then they can easily convert to bitcoin to fiat via paypal and use them..

The Main Motive of OP is that everyone should spend their bitcoin some how to help bitcoin more people to adopt it.

Yes you are right. Spending bitcoins not always about spending on real life, i also spend my bitcoins by paying my electric voucher and i spend some on gambling.

I think it would be a big step in the right direction if we could persue all those who buy digital goods (vpn, filhosters etc) to use bitcoins.
Those people are allready digitally evolved and can understand the benefits of bitcoins easier than the normal desktop user.
1215  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe in Crisis on: June 05, 2016, 02:51:54 PM
At the end of June will be Brexit referendum, now is 50/50 almost,if will be Brexit non euro countrys in EU will suffer a lot,but Brexit may cause domino effect

Yeah.. only a few weeks away, and it is too close to call according to the opinion polls. If United Kingdom exits from the European Union, it will completely destroy the equilibrium between the donor nations, and the parasite nations. One less donor nation means additional burden on the other donor nations such as Germany, Belgium, France, and Italy. It may trigger the disintegration of the EU.

Yes good thoughts,Brexit will have very strong influance on world financial world and EU countrys economys
About imigrant will be more of them.War in Libia is coming,Putin wants bring back Libia in to his arms

In my opinion the way, especially the speed with wich the Eu was built, was a big failure. The brexit, and I'm sure it will come, is the first step of correcting that failure.
The next step will be removing a country that has the euro as a currancy. It will be Greece most likely. I'm sure in the end just the core of the donating nations will stay in Eu.
After a while, a resumption of the othe nations could be possible, but only one every decade.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why arnt we seeing more bitcoin ATM popping up? on: June 05, 2016, 02:43:32 PM
They are expensive + people dont buy BTC from them because it is exansive Cheesy It is cheaper to buy them at Bitcoin exchange places.

as far as i'm aware a lot of people use them for convenience.

especially if you need small amounts, ATMs are saver and easier than going to an exchange or using localbitcoins.

In my region there was a bitcoin atm. The only one for about 300 miles. Placed right in the capital of my state.
It got shut down because nobody used it. Probably because bitcoin is not very much known here at the moment yet.
Oh yes, I live in an industry nation.
1217  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: June 03, 2016, 02:21:50 PM
At the moment bitcoin is a currency to me. I buy it when I want to buy something else with it.
I think I have not enough money right now to think of anything like an investment.
1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How police think about Bitcoin enthusiasts ? on: June 03, 2016, 02:20:12 PM
I recently talked to an (older) policeman. He has heard the word bitcoin, but did not know anything about it.
Probably the way most policemen in my country would react. Bitcoin here is just not established yet.
1219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: June 03, 2016, 01:48:49 PM
I have bought me a filehoster account with bitcoins.
It worked very well for me so I'm planing on renewing it when it runs out.
1220  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do You Still Use Bitcoin Faucets??? on: June 03, 2016, 01:45:56 PM
I started with faucets. Now I'm done with it.
First it's not worth the time you put in it and then there is the problem with all that malware in the advertisements.
Somehow I wish the whole faucet sector would start to disappear completele.
