Even though the season is just about to end, i think everyone is already anticipating the 2023/2024 champions league. I could not believe, I was still believing that Manchester City will rain Inter goals like upto e goals. But when reality was done on me,I gave Imzaghi an applause for a good team. But I didn't agree to his decision of starting Dzeko ahead Lukaku. I believe it would have been a different finals if Lukaku started.
Champions League finals are always difficult games, it was clear that both teams were not easy and by the middle of the second half the game was even, then it became clear that City were physically better prepared, even though Inter were losing, they were still defending.
Aside it been the champions league all finals are always tough and the tension is always high since everyone wants to win, and during the second half pressure was coming from both sides and no one expected manchester city to win at that particular time, despite no goals first half I was sure of manchester city winning and their fans are already flaunting their jersey on our faces been the champions of FA cup, champions league, and the premier league now I know why Guardiola is a proud man. everyone was impressed yesterday. I personally think there is no reason to get too excited about coach Pochettino. Just because Chelsea has changed coaches doesn't mean they will play well next season. Coach Pochettino is quite experienced. However, Pochettino was not successful with the PSG team. Despite having many star players, he could not stabilize the PSG team. Chelsea's problems are much the same. Chelsea also has a lot of star players in their squad. And their performance is poor due to poor bonding between team players. So we are not yet sure whether Pochettino will succeed with this team. I feel since Lampard did not do well I feel Pochettino should be given a chance and Chelsea fans are really excited to see what they will become under his management, his appointment might actually favor Chelsea and his not doing well in PSG might be an experience for him to use as a tool to improve Chelsea, both PSG and Chelsea had a similar issue just that PSG is still better than Chelsea and with time even chelsae will take shape, I also noticed that Chelsea players are finding it difficult to understand each other they have very poor teamwork which is one of the major problems that clubs face. at least Chelsea needs to get ready for next season and prepare well if they want to survive. |

As a fan of Inter let me say that I don't know any more worse attacker than Lukaku,holy f*ck how can you lose two sure goals with just 2 meters of distance.Not his fault though,it was a dream night for Ederson the goalkeeper of Manchester City which made some fabulous saves and it did not wanted to go Inter way,even Dimarco hit Lukaku which was again the person to remove the equalizer from Inter hands.
On another note congrats to Manchester City,they finally made the triple and won the Champions League for the first time,it was very well deserved for them.
Sorry for the loss but I was actually impressed with Inter Milan's performance and as for Lukaku I feel he was under pressure and the game was looking more fun even Milan's defense was tight making it very difficult for manchester city to score and one thing I notice with manchester city is that once they score one and they noticed that their opponents are also good they start protecting and playing a very defensive game even Foden lost good opportunity to score if inter milan can play like this I think they still have a better chance next season to win the champions league and once again congrats to the city on their victory. |

Okay, so I must admit; Inter Milan has been playing much more better than I had expected or perhaps, Manchester City isn’t playing as good as they normally do? Inter Milan has been playing really well and also trying hard to defend against City forward.
So far, Manchester City hasn’t managed to score a goal just yet. Haaland had a good opportunity in the 27th minute and the first major chance for Manchester City but was stopped by the goalie.
I actually did expect Milan's performance to be good since they were playing against manchester city they really need to prepare and train well, from the look of things manchester dominated during the first half, and am sure they will still do the same during the second half but the most important is that am expecting goals in the second half, manchester city is always surprising people during the second half, lets all wait and see the outcome. yes I think I actually did expect inter milan to play this way and playing against manchester city will need serious preparations and training

To me, Man U and Chelsea could be arguably compared together, after all, they are rivals, and if you could remember, Man U was facing exactly the same thing Chelsea is facing now years ago and was able to move out of it in about a year ago while they still have a lot of work to do. Chelsea however is in the woods and coaching might not be the major issue now but moving in and out of players to almost completely change the narrative and the orientation/psychology of the dominant ones.
it's true that manchester united also fucked up last season and now Chelsea is also occupying the same shoes, manchester united own did not get worst compared to that Chelsea who narrowly escaped relegation, since they have gotten a new coach I just hope the presence of the new coach will improve the performance of the club, due to the fact that the coach will need time to identify the club's weaknesses and suggest improvements. As for Lampard, I don't know why the guy would be ridiculing himself, his contract is only till the end of this season, it's too short for him to even breathe not to talk of making impacts. Lastly, it's not a rumour that Mauricio Pochettino is coming to Chelsea, the guy has signed 2 years contract already and will resume on the 1st of July.

Inter Milan aren't really an attacking team, of course they have their own way of approaching games and getting goals, but they are not the kind of team that holds possession and attacks constantly, they do not have the necessary quality in their squad to do that. Having said that, there's no doubt that Inter would park the bus against City, even most of the best clubs in the world would do that, when you come up against City you have to respect them and accept the fact that they would control most aspects of the game, Inter have to do one thing, defend and wait to hurt City on the counter.
It all depends on the game or rather if Inter Milan can score early it is very likely that they can apply defensive strategy options but if that doesn't come true then it is likely that Inter Milan will play more aggressively in balancing the game from Manchester city. From this it can be seen when they beat Ac milan where the tempo of Inter milan game in the second half was more inclined to defend and this option was not very good if they did that against Manchester city. I predict Inter Milan game will be more aggressive than before because the opponent they are facing is not a weak team, therefore the attack system must be Simone Inzaghi mainstay for the final match later. If that's the approach Inter Milan is taking, it won't benefit them at all to score once and play a defensive game; if you watch the game between Manchester City and Madrid in the second leg, Madrid tried to play a defensive game but the goals kept coming I hope Milan doesn't end up meeting that faith as will score goals no matter how they defend.
