1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Massive LISK dump underway. on: May 25, 2016, 04:36:39 AM
How in the world can there be a MASSIVE lisk dump when we cant get them oput of the wallet to trdae because a BAD Gateway all day ??

Yeah... Gee... If nobody who bought during the ICO can get their coins, I wonder who could be responsible for the dump?  Somebody call Columbo.
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LISK HAS JUST LAUNCHED. Post-Launch Discussion Thread! on: May 25, 2016, 04:33:05 AM
so can anyone move their lisk yet?

yes, the people that have linux vps can move their lisk

everyone else has to look at the dump and can't do anything.

I HAVE NO IDEA why they did this but it's not gonna end well...

actually in my eyes he even mocked us:

Guys, again! The Lisk network is running smoothly, we are currently at block 711! Only our web login is offline because hundreds of users are connecting to it.

Install Lisk locally (Linux) or on a VPS. You will have immediate access to your LSK.

HUNDREDS OF USERS TOO MUCH?

Terrible bs comment from LiskHQ. You knew the number of investors, you should have planned better.

Dude  are you making fun of us?

You must be new here.  I'll clue you in as to how these dishonest scammers make their money.

1 - Load up on your scamcoins.
2 - Bribe exchanges to "pre-trade" your IOU scamcoins.
3 - Tell all the naive idiots that your scamcoin will be the next ether.
4 - "Release" coin with wrong instructions, buggy code, shutdown the distribution and claim it went down because a "hundred people" caused a "DDoS".
5 - Transfer your scamcoins to an exchange and proceed to dump like crazy locking in your own ROI before you allow anyone else to sell.
6 - PROFIT! and claim your scamcoin was a "success".

These scams are getting more and more blatant.  These LISK guys are real pieces of work let me tell you.  Max was involved in stealing 9 million NXT to start the ridiculous NXT Foundation.  These people are the absolute scum of the earth and are only looking to make a quick buck at everyone else's expense.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Announcing Nxt 2.0 on: May 24, 2016, 10:42:50 PM
This Is Nxt. Always ahead of the rest in its features and posibilities. Hope more people will see the value of a true stable and innovative blockchain. Looking forward to the future!!  Smiley Smiley

All you blood-sucking leeches are a bunch of traitors to the original movement and ideology of NXT.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Announcing Nxt 2.0 on: May 24, 2016, 10:41:53 PM
Distribution:

FXT (Main Chain Tokens)
All NXT holders are eligible to receive FXT Tokens at launch of the Mainnet.
Shortly after the release of Nxt 1.9, (intended to be the last major release on the Nxt 1.0 branch) the Nxt Software will start taking periodic snapshots of all users' NXT balances, at regular intervals (most likely once an hour), for a period of three months.
The NXT balances in each account will be averaged over this full three month period, and at the end all accounts will be automatically credited with a token representing their FXT holdings, issued as an Asset on the Nxt asset exchange.
This FXT Asset will be freely tradeable.
The distribution of the real FXT coins ( to be done at the launch of the Nxt 2.0 Mainnet in Q3 2017) will be based on the ownership of FXT Assets on the 1.9 blockchain, taken at the point of time when the 2.0 Genesis block is created, shortly before that launch.

FNX (Transaction Tokens for the FNX Child Chain)
The distribution of the FNX Token will be based on each account’s NXT holdings at the time of the Nxt 2.0 Genesis block creation.
At the time of writing, the Core Devs have decided to credit 50% of these holdings to each new FNX Account, while reserving 50% of FNX for funding of the development team, business development and other operations that will need funding to make the Nxt 2.0 project a success.
The Core Devs acknowledge that not including this step in the distribution of 2013 was a mistake in the first place, which has left the project chronically underfunded. As a donation based model is not sustainable, they decided to opt for the allocation of 50% for project development and sustainability.

You guys are some real idiots.  I'd like to know how this moronic plan fits in with BCNext's vision?  Why are you splitting the forging process away from the currency?  The whole point of NXT was to allow the currency holders to secure the blockchain in proportion to their stake.
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LISK HAS JUST LAUNCHED. Post-Launch Discussion Thread! on: May 24, 2016, 10:05:12 PM

Cheesy Going to make some popcorn--->

Yeah, I remember the Lisk scammers from when they were involved in NXT.  They are complete screw-ups.  What a joke.

What ever you do, do exactly the opposite as r0ach - and you will be okay.
Just to reiterate. Do the exact opposite of whatever r0ach pretends to advise.

B... b... but... he was so right on Bitshares.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Synereo vs Steem, which one will lead the decentralized social media revolution? on: May 24, 2016, 03:30:13 AM
@DecentralizeEconomics, I watched the Synereo youtube videos and I saw a very theoretical approach and major issues with lack of a core concern about time to market. I don't know what all the work on Ethereum/Casper has to do with Synereo at all or helping users in the social media space, other than Greg's interest in both. To me the project looks in danger of being unfocused on delivery and derailed into a vehicle to support Greg's math habit.

Greg is working with Vitalik and Vlad to develop the Ethereum 2.0 Casper blockchain, because it will also be utilized as a separate chain for Synereo.

So we will see Synereo only after Ethereum 2.0 Casper blockchain will be released  Huh

That's basically my point. The project has been derailed so Greg can work on distributed algorithm math problems he finds more interesting. To me it looks like a misuse of ICO investor money, but I guess it is possible ICO investors were told about that. I don't really know. Ether way it looks like serious lack of focus and raises severe time to market issues.

Synereo is planning on launching way before the completion of Ethereum 2.0 Casper blockchain.  They were discussing using the Omni protocol layer or the current Ethereum PoW blockchain, and the majority consensus was to utilize the current Ethereum blockchain.

Can you tell the launch date, at least approximately?

On last week's hangout, we showed posting and post-retrieval functionality in a live demo.
We'll open the app up for a first few users very soon.

Here is Dor, the CEO of Synereo LTD, discussing the launch time-frame.  For those who are interested, Synereo LTD, the company, doesn't own or control the Synereo tech stack or the decentralized social media application built on top of it.  Synereo LTD is developing the tech stack and social media application gratis and releasing it as open source.
1229  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does anyone really believe that "HONCHO" isn't TPTB_Need_War/Anonymint? on: May 24, 2016, 03:18:37 AM
I had learned that he had attempted to form a corporation which would operate an umbrella of financial and non for profit projects

Yeah, that totally doesn't sound like the same convoluted setup as the "SuperNet".

jl777 is not Jared! The last time they had anything to do with each other was Dec 2013 afaik.

The OP has axe to grind ... ignore him

Was that when the JL777 personality took over the body of Jared and killed off "Datz"?
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AKASHA CROWDSALE DISCUSSION THREAD on: May 24, 2016, 03:13:36 AM
AKASHA ( [aːkaːʃə], आकाश) is the Sanskrit word meaning “ether”

It all makes sense now.

Synereo

Go watch the videos on their YouTube channel and tell me I'm wrong.

"Contradictory statement.  You can't prove it."

So take the 25 btc bet if you think I can't prove it, you can even pick the escrow.

Well, I didn't DOX him.  You did.

You posted enough information for user Wind_FURY to identify Jared Mimms and post one of his letters. How many crypto entrepreneurs in the insurance startup business do you think ran for Mayor of San Diego? You posted enough information for a 5 yr old to identify Jared's name and address.

No, you're the DOX fiend around here. Shame on you, and you're a coward too!!

Take the bet coward!!!

I'm not taking your ridiculous bet which is impossible for either of us to win with 100% certainty.  Regardless, even if I could prove it with 100% certainty (which I can't), I'm opposed to gambling on moral grounds.

I never named Jared by name.  You did.  Granted though, when you act that crazy, I guess you're pretty easily identifiable.  You can claim whatever you want about me, but you can't say that I started some insurance scheme which violated Google's ToS resulting in a $10k loss, or that I committed malfeasance with other peoples' funds, because I can't control my emotions.  Like I said earlier, I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.  I think both Jared and JL777 (whether you think they are the same person or not) started with good intentions, but neither of them have decent business skills.  You can't act recklessly with other peoples' money and expect not to be called out on it.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell is this? on: May 22, 2016, 05:00:07 AM
What the hell is steem?

A blockchain-based social media platform, somewhat resembling reddit:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1466593.0

I am obviously intrigued.  I also immediately see a lot of voices crying foul over a flawed distro scheme and its hard to discern what happened.  Was it just difficult to mine at first, leading to the devs mining a lot, though fairly?  Were there honestly no shenanigans similar to Dash or Vanillacoin?

Steem is just another Larimer scam.  Nobody is going to end up using it.  The Larimer Gang pulled the same stunt with PTS mining.  I know, because I was mining PTS from day one and there were several people complaining about not being able to connect to the network.  Nothing the Larimers are involved in is fair.  The only blockchain-based social media network that will be of importance is Synereo.
1235  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does anyone really believe that "HONCHO" isn't TPTB_Need_War/Anonymint? on: May 22, 2016, 04:41:15 AM
I'm certain he thinks jl777 is the founder of the Ripple based insurance startup 'PeerCover', which I know is false.

Yeah, sure he isn't.   Roll Eyes

I'll bet you 25 btc jl777 is not Jared Mimms. We can use a recognised and trusted escrow.

I would love to take your money, and I bet you'd love to take mine.

If you're sure jl777="Jared Mimms" and you can prove that, take the bet.

We both know that I cannot prove that jl777 is Jared Mimms and you cannot prove that he isn't.  Your bet is therefore pointless.  It is my opinion that they are one and the same, but I don't know this with 100% certainty.

No, I can prove it, that's why I offered you a 25 btc bet with escrow. I am 100% certain jl777 is NOT Jared Mimms, and I think I can prove that.

Contradictory statement.  You can't prove it.

Anyway, it's a mark against your character that you threatened to DOX someone on the basis of, "It is my opinion that they are one and the same, but I don't know this with 100% certainty." What if someone looking for jl777 went and found Jared Mimms at his home?

Shame on you!

Well, I didn't DOX him.  You did.

Oh, this will be good then.  In case you don't know, jl777 is a nutcase too.  "James" (not his real name) got involved in crypto after his failed bid at the mayoral seat of San Diego.  He also used to claim that he had President Obama on speed dial.  This is the genius who commits gross acts of malfeasance when he gets upset.

Any sources on this?  Sounds like great buttcoin fodder

I've known who "James" was for years.  I have his picture and full name.  I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the last straw for me was when he used others' NXT to drive down the price, because of a miscommunication with Jean-Luc (NXT dev).  The NXT he listed for sale wasn't his personal NXT.  It was other peoples' NXT under his management.  When he did this, he was actively working against their best interests due to his inability to control his emotions and act rationally.  This is gross malfeasance.  Anyone who gives him money is either unaware of his mental state or extremely naive.

When "James" started in crypto, he created a convoluted insurance scheme in which he lost $10k USD of other peoples' money.  He was the laughing stock of everyone, because he would make ridiculous statements like having President Obama on speed dial.  Everyone got their entertainment from asking him questions and seeing what crazy response he would provide.  He also used to have a website promoting his run for the mayor of San Diego.  I don't know if it is still up, but it was hilarious.  If I provide his picture and name, you might be able to find some information about his past escapades.  Really though... do you need sources?  You can't make this stuff up.

Who wants the DOX?
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TPTB_need_war Bitcoin Fork in the making! on: May 20, 2016, 05:54:12 AM
But somehow I still prefer CfB doing what he is doing now.

Ask him to ask David where klee "sourced" the iota name from in 2014.

You are full of BS Shellby, I haven't invested in IOTA

How did Shellby's name get involved in this?

By klee using it.

Hi I'm new here
who is Shellby?

He is a crazed lunatic who's lost his mind in my opinion from infesting himself with an unknown set of diseases most likely from him acting upon his advocation of promiscuous sex.

is it possible to ad it on trex or not wen we pay togetter trex maybe
sorry for my engels

Nope trex nor polo will take it from what has been said way way earlier in this thread (trex/polo admins just dont want to have to deal with the possible legalities of the coin in the future)

Anyone know how hard it is to get on a Chinese exchange?  Pretty sure the Chinese would support Trumpcoin since they both like walls.  haha.  Also, what about livecoin exchange?  Is it a good exchange?

Funny you mention that. Im looking to get the coin added to BTER. I think that will happen. In saying that though, Yobit/Trump is pretty stable right now
and has been for a couple of weeks. But, BTER might be a decent echange for the coin.

Hey dev. BTER would be great for Trump.   Check this out, maybe this guy can help:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1419665.0
Good luck!

BTER is run by a bunch of lying thieves.
