1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Everywhere? Not yet... on: February 18, 2017, 04:09:06 PM
Maybe Bitcoin will not be dominant currency in the future because fiat will be not put of the throne but it will probably be much more adopted and spread then it is today, at first place in shopping and different online services. Maybe also in high technology and IT industry.
Most answers here will be speculative, However, considering the fact that no government will still not allow a decentralized virtual currency to control their local exchange. Some factors/purposes in the future will be unavoidable by govt about bitcoin or other new cryptocurrency. Factors/purposes that obviously fiat cant offer and they need. The interest will start with the first world countries down to the third

"Bitcoin everywhere" would not be that easy to happen because there are the Governments on the different countries around the world that won't allow that bitcoin could be use on all of the transaction that we are going to have on our daily lives, even though the majority of all the bitcoin users wants this to be happen, still the Government is our problem. In some countries, the Government sees bitcoin as a threat to them, because first, some of their people are using it in illegal activities like buying illegal stuffs online, like drugs and guns.

However, the chance of using bitcoin as the main currency is 60:40 in ratio, 60 percent of the population wants these to happen, and 40% are not sure about it, because not all of the people knows bitcoin.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Movie on: February 18, 2017, 03:53:07 PM
I don't know these movies that you have mentioned, but I know that they are all good because you are not going to post it here if they are not, right? I know a movie about gambling also, and it is called " The lord of Gambling", it is a card game which the protagonist is undefeatable because he is really good at it. I suggest you guys to watch it, because it is really awesome, and the lesson of the movie would remain in our hearts.

I would also try one of the movies that you have mentioned, because gambling movies is one of the Genre of movies that I love to watch. Smiley
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: February 18, 2017, 03:43:31 PM
Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley
In my opinion there are no ways to left gambling because it is just like a drug addiction which can't leave by me until I hot die .
Here you will leave gambling when you will get loss all of you are bitcoin earning .
Earning of bitcoin through legit way is hard but to make gambling and loss all take about minutes and second .
Here I will.suggest you to set your particular scale of  gambling amount , for example you made your rule that you will not play gambling more than .001 btc per week  , In this way you can stop your gambling habbit at some extent but not completely .

That grammar though...

Anyway, I think there is a way to quit it. It may not be a sudden thing but anyone can work it out slowly and get some help. Usually, people who quit gambling does come back to it if they just quit outright. Doing it gradually helps, like what I did. I just made a schedule and limited my bank roll. Another thing I did was to convince myself that gambling will not help me and the money I am gambling is for my child. That really helped me to stop over gambling.

That is a very nice advice for those addictive gamblers out there, which always making excuses that they can't quit gambling because it is not that easy. The only reason why they can't quit gambling is because they don't want to quit it, they are just saying that they want to, but they really don't. Quitting something like gambling won't be easy for someone if he always gives his hope on this kind of thing, which he knows that gambling won't bring any good fortune to him, hoping that he could win back all the money that he lost on it, and want it back so badly.

But just like what you have said, if they are going to convince themselves to quit gambling because it will not help them, and instead of using their money on gambling, just use it for something more important than this, and look to the future and think, "What am I going to be if I will not going to quit gambling right now" something like that would help also, let's just open our eyes and face the truth that gambling is not the only way to earn bitcoin or money, there are many doors out there waiting for us to take another chance and to start a new life---a better one.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably Fair for investors on: February 18, 2017, 03:29:37 PM
Today almost all gambling sites feature Provably Fair system for their games. If you are not familiar with it, it is based on cryptographic hashes - the result of each bet is based on 2 seeds, one of each comes from the player side and the other from the house side. This system is used to verify that every bet was truly random without any manipulation from both sides.

The problem here is there's a third side involved in gambling - investors. They invest their money into casinos bankroll and share profit when players lose, or cover house's loses when players win. Now my concern is that investors don't have any control over seeds, so there's a potential for abuse by casino operators. They could simply create player account and make fake winnings, since they know both seeds, and by doing this they will be stealing investor funds without any way to prove it. Of course investors will start withdrawing their money if they will see losses over long term, but this scam could be even more subtle, for example living investors with profit, just smaller than they should have earned so there wouldn't be any suspicions. Considering all this, I think gambling sites should extend Provably Fair system to cover investor side.

On the first place, Gambling never get fair to us, because it is gambling, gambling only needs money and doesn't care whether we have lost so much bitcoin on them, they don't care as long as they earn money from every player that gambles to them. But behind in all of this, we still risk our bitcoin hoping that it would grow and we could make profit when we are going to invest to a gambling site, maybe what you have said is true that Gambling sites are just faking the players win so that they could steal the investors funds, but we don't have any proofs about it.

So, if we are suspecting that the gambling sites are doing this to us every time that we invest to them, then the only option that we have to avoid such thing is not to invest to them anymore, because there is no more reason for us to invest since they are just cheating on us, and just using our money for their own good, and it is not fair.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: February 18, 2017, 02:41:04 PM
I don't think anyone would want to bet on sports they aren't even familiar with. Think about it like this, if you bet on sports like american foot ball. That game is actually complicated if you don't even know how it works. Even soccer might be difficult if you don't even get it. Heck, even basketball will be hard to bet on if you don't even know how it works.

I know right, others are saying that they will, if, there would be a good tipster, and this is ridiculous, because the one who is gambling is not you, but the "tipster" because he decides on where, what, are you going to put your bet, and no one would do that because it is your money, and what if that "tipster" lost all your money, you can't blame him because you are the one who insist to do so.

What I am trying to say is that, it is better if we are the one who will handle our money, on where we are going to use it, because even if we lost it all on gambling let's say, then we have no regrets because the one who is responsible is our own selves, no one else, and it is easier to accept, so it is 100% true that you SHOULD know the game, the rules and regulations, before you put your bet, for you not to be fooled by someone.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 18, 2017, 02:16:28 PM
I have not really thought of it has shame has I have not done anything wrong or owe somebody some cash , so there is no reason for me to be shameful about gambling or being a punter.
Society doenst try to make you feel shameful?

Society is another factor, when you live in a place that's full of people that has a very bad way of thinking with gambling. That can affect you, your family and friends because we know that when a crowd shouts 'shame to you, gambler' that will make you feel that you don't belong to them and that's force shame.
If that is how they see it, then in the first place you would not be influence and will learn gambling. I don't know if there are really a community that hates gambling because for me it is just s pure game and entertainment. People can play if they want and they are not force to spend their hard earn money.

If you are living in a religious place or you are part of religious family then they hate gambling. Admit it or not there are places are like this and they are making fun for those people who are into gambling. Instead of helping those type of people, they are putting them down with their ego's and that's making them more shameful to gamble.
Maybe gambling is considered a sin that is why they have that reaction every time they caught someone gambling, if I live with that pace, maybe I would have not known gambling in the first place. Fortunately, I live in a country where we have democracy, we are free to do whatever we want and gambling is just considered as an entertainment and the government has no negative actions as long as they have their fair share.

Yes they are treating gambling as a sin and I don't know if you won't know gambling even you'll live there. Because the surroundings will still attract you to do so, especially if you have peers that are into gambling, you will be influenced as they do. But that is not going to be a shameful thing because you are in the crowd of gamblers.

Because indeed some religions claim that gambling is a sin. And it's not without reason, in gambling can cause a lot of harm besides can earn money. Especially when it's an addiction, people who are addicted to gambling can do a lot of harm, such as selling essential items at home, selling jewelry belo his wife, abandoned his wife and children, even to kill people. Because when the addicted person can be pkpP
pppunbridled. But for people who do not consider it a sin, pk
Loopoop pt all depends on how you treat yourself when gambling.
I don't know any religion that banned it, but getting addictied to something bad is probably a sin for everything and everyone and every religion. Everything can be harmful when it's too much, it would be really hard to overcome so before starting anything, be sure to commit to it and makesure it's legal

Gambling is banned on Christians, because it against the will of God, and it is a sin that all of us should not do, but we are hard headed, most of us are still doing gambling even though we know that this is not right, also doing gambling just make our bitcoin disappear in time. I know that we have different religions here, and I am only saying this to those people here that their religions prohibits gambling.

So, if you are a Christian and you are doing gambling secretly, then you could call it being ashamed of himself because he is hiding his illegal deeds just to earn money, I admit that I have also tried gambling, and I stopped it on the very first day that I have tried it, because I know that is wrong and it won't cause any good things to me.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: February 18, 2017, 01:54:30 PM
Give your vote to any kind of gambling, is that the betting on soccer games, playing poker, roulette, online gaming, live gaming....??
I like to bet on online games, also play some poker but I always gamble in satoshimines I don't know where it belongs or what kind of gambling game it is.

Why not bitcoins?

What do you mean by "What not bitcoins?" We are talking about what type of gambling is our favorite, and your reply seems to be unrelated on this topic. If you are just multiplying your post by replying nonsense post that is not connected on a certain topic, I suggest you to stop doing it, because you might be reported to the moderator here in this Thread, and the worst thing that could happen to you is you will get banned in this forum because of spamming.

If you want to increase your post and you could reply related on a certain topic, then you should make your own thread, or you could also spend more of your time on reading stuffs here in this forum, so you could increase your knowledge and you could change the quality of your post. Smiley
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: February 18, 2017, 01:22:48 PM
Unless those casino's go bankrupt or if they decide to pull a gox trick on their customers, you are safe with them. You will make guaranteed profits. Because, the house always wins. 1 year more than enough to collect your investments.

What are you talking about ? What guaranteed profits ? There is no such thing! The most likely scenario is that part of the sites will go #404, and other
will be in borderline positive value. Investing in gambling sites is plain stupid in my opinion.

haha risky as hell - I agree! You would have to assume at least 1 of those sites won't be around year end. History has been brutal to bitcoin bankroll investors in the past.

From the very start, it is too risky at all, but still many of the gamblers are continually doing a decision to make an investment, but they didn't notice there is a tricky happening inside of it. And I don't know what guaranteed profit that the investors can get.

Correct. Most of us here are thinking that they could make profit out of it because others are making, but we are not sure about this, and we all know that many of those who invest on the gambling sites ended up losing some of their bitcoin, and yet, we still take the risk. I know that we want to multiply and to grow our bitcoin, but trust me, investing it on a gambling site is not worth it.

If you don't have anything to do with your bitcoin, just keep it there, in your wallet, and hold it, wait for the price to PUMP again to its highest price that it could make this time. In that way, your bitcoin is safe and you could earn your profit in a safe way.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: February 18, 2017, 12:41:18 PM
The secret of healthy gambling is to do it responsibly and in an intelligent manner. There are a whole lot of strategies that players use to make gambling profitable. In this article, we will give an insight on how to make gambling profitable...

http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/06/14/turn-gambling-profitable-activity/

I cannot think about that gambling is profitable in some other way. For me gambling is not design for the individuals to make it profitable, it is commonly use for amusement and relaxing time. It doesn't mean you win in the gambling sites it is consider as profitable, that is misleading anyway.

They are thinking that since others are making profit on gambling because they are winning big amount of bitcoin, then, they also wanted to try gambling, hoping that they would also win big amount of bitcoin when they will gamble their bitcoin, but this is the wrong idea, or thinking that anyone could have. We don't share the same luck like others, if some of us make profits on gambling, it doesn't mean that we could also, maybe your excuse would be, how will you know if you are not going to try, yeah, we are there, but my point is, you would lose a bigger amount of bitcoin before you could win a big one, and it will take some time.

So, if I were you, I would not convince myself that I could make or earn profit on gambling, because the truth is you will just lose your bitcoin on this, maybe not all of your bitcoin at one shot, but if you are going to gamble everyday, you will just notice one day that you have no more bitcoin in your wallet, and I am sure you don't want that to happen.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: February 18, 2017, 08:05:19 AM
...

- Alts work like a testnet for bitcoins (looking forward seeing Litecoin with SegWit)

- Once an alt feature looks working it might get adopted no matter onchain or in a side chain. (RSK)

- Alts mostly need bitcoin to trade and some bitcoins might be always reserved / locked for this.

- Alts might help to generate a closed bitcoin economy

My favorit comes here:

- Alts work like an infinite fear generator (Hydra) against any try of regulators to bring bitcoin down, since there are too many to kill and its very easy to just create a new one (like a Hydra cannot be killed by chopping off some heads, even the biggest one!) > crypto world is anti fragile and it will stay on this solar system from year 2009 on.

Any other things missing here?

Because we want more bitcoins... and altcoins are the only way to trade and get more bitcoins without having to give your bank accounts and all sort of credentials into all those shady ass exchanges in order for you to trade.

Alts will always exist because people love gambling.

Correct. Since Altcoin is the other way to earn bitcoin by converting it to an exchanger, we can have a lot of bitcoins than just having bitcoin because of the signature campaigns that pays us bitcoin. It is not that bitcoin really needs those Altcoins out there, besides, Altcoins do exist in the first place because of bitcoin. Altcoins have been invented through the idea of bitcoin, so, the right thing to say is, Altcoin needs bitcoin.

On the other hand, Alts doesn't exist because of gambling, it is not connected after all, because bitcoin is the most cryptocurrency that is always using in different gambling sites here in the virtual world.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 18, 2017, 07:33:32 AM
I cashout it my money in coinsph and i play a gamble again. For the time being i won again i cashout again and play again and so on so fort.

I guess you are a lucky one since you are winning always in gambling. Well, I am also doing the same thing, every time that I win in gambling, I will save my capital and half of my profit on my wallet, and I am going to spend the rest in gambling, taking the risk and hoping that could win again, though most of the time that I've tried, I always lose.

Winning in gambling for me is just based on your luck, and being addicted to it is the worst thing that could happen into your life, so if you are a gambler, it is better to watch yourself out and always have self-control, because it is not good to go on rampage and spend all your money in gambling.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: February 18, 2017, 06:51:56 AM
I'm still relying on the same wallet i used to store my bitcoins two years ago. I've been using Blockchain wallet to keep my btc and a local wallet for converting it to loca lcurrency. I will only try to use hard wallet if i had a large amount of bitcoins.

This is also the same idea on how I am keeping my coins. But if you do have a bigger amount of bitcoins, let's say you do have 100 bitcoin, so, if I were you, I'm going to make 10 wallets, and then I'm going to divide that 100 bitcoins into 10, so there would be 10 bitcoins in each wallet, this is just for the safety of your coins, I mean even though someone would hacked your bitcoins, at least, just 10 bitcoins would be hacked to you rather than 100 bitcoins, which is really going to drive you insane and mad, if you are going to lose all 100 bitcoins.

So, this is just my idea, and it is just my opinion on how you are going to keep your bitcoins in a safe place, also you could try the hardware wallet, but you must have a back up of it, just being sure about the safety of it, in case you forget the password of it or something.
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China? on: February 18, 2017, 06:23:47 AM
No. is impossible for one country to take control btc, they just can affect the btc price now.
They need to protect RMB (china currency) and prevent btc for laundering.

It is true, it would be hard for them to control bitcoin because it is made to be Decentralized. Maybe you are thinking that China is controlling bitcoin because they are affecting the bitcoins price every time that they dump their bitcoins. But no, they are affecting the bitcoins price, yes, because most of the bitcoins population are in their country compare to the other countries that only some people are using bitcoin.

But it doesn't mean that they are controlling bitcoin, it is just, they are the biggest investors and users of bitcoin. We don't have to worry about this, because it is impossible for someone or for some country to control the bitcoin.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Everywhere? Not yet... on: February 18, 2017, 05:42:11 AM
Anything you pay for online would be the obvious first area that would be affected, this includes shopping, gambling, payments to people and so on.

In the real world it could be used everywhere, just looking at bitcoin as an idea it could be used in almost everything we do daily, give it 5 years and we will see where we are.

Correct. Online Shopping that accepts bitcoin is not new to us, because some of the Online Shops are already accepting bitcoin as a payment, what would be better is when we could use bitcoin in our everyday expenses, and I am sure that would be awesome if that will going to happen in the near future, if, the Government allow such thing to happen.

Because until now, Government can't just accept bitcoin because they can't charge taxes to it, and I know that if they can't charges taxes to it, there is a possibility that a certain thing will fall down because there is no more taxes.
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: February 18, 2017, 04:27:10 AM
if  make Bitcoin transaction easier and faster, maybe people can use it in our daily needs.

Bitcoin is already easier and faster to use, but it is not enough for the Government to consider bitcoin to use in our daily transactions, because it is a poison to them, since bitcoin is decentralized, they can't get a tax on it, and if they don't get tax, there will be no budget on every projects that they are going to launch for their country, that is why, it is not that easy to convince the Government about this, that bitcoin should be use as a payment for our daily transactions.

But I guess, soon enough, Government will accept bitcoin and will change the rules and certain law about this taxes, so that, there will be no more problem about using bitcoin in our everyday lives, who knows, if this thing really happen, then it is the start of the big change that could happen to all of us, for the brighter future.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Trends: a big rise in interest in bitcoin specially in Africa on: February 18, 2017, 04:01:41 AM
Google trends for the past year: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%2012-m&q=Bitcoin
and past 3 months: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%203-m&q=Bitcoin
both show a big rise in interest in bitcoin and surprisingly the top leading regions are from Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa)

Not just on bitcoin, Nigeria is also one of the biggest handler on The Billion Coin, I am just wondering why these people keep on buying TBC even they know that this coin is just a scam and never can have a exchanger, and now, they are buying bitcoins even you will sell it to them doubling its price, they don't mind, as long as they can have bitcoin. You may said that I'm saying nonsense here, but one of my friend just sold 1 bitcoin to a Nigerian and just bought for $2000.

We al know that bitcoin is helping so many people around the world, and bitcoin don't have an exception on who can use it, as long as you are dedicated and have knowledge on how to do it, then it is okay. Maybe that is why Africa is showing that big interest on bitcoin because they want to change their country, which is most of the areas there are facing poverty.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Face Reality in 2017 ... on: February 18, 2017, 03:29:30 AM
It's time to face reality in 2017

Bitcoin is not the currency of the future

We need to stop listening to self-proclaimed experts and hack economists who say

Bitcoin will change the world

The Bitcoin experiment has finally been resolved. Everybody was wrong:

Bitcoin is dead.

Mike Hearn said ‘farewell to Bitcoin’ and took a job with Goldman Sachs because he thought

‘Bitcoin is just an experiment.’

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire says nobody will be using Bitcoin in 5 years because

It’s still early days. Something better will come along and replace it.

People were wrong when they said

Bitcoin will bring reliable self-banking to the unbanked in third world countries.

Smart people understand that

Bitcoin challenges central banking and undermines the ability of governments to keep financial tabs on their citizens.

In order to fight terrorism, the government tracks everything you do online.

Personally, I’m tired of living in a world where

Hackers, drug dealers and terrorists can use Bitcoin to get away with their crimes.

It’s actually just a myth that

Bitcoin is good for the world.

That’s dead wrong.

You aren’t smart enough to use Bitcoin; it will never be adopted by the masses.

Economists like Paul Krugman keep saying

Bitcoin is evil.

I don’t believe that

Bitcoin can make the world a better place by empowering people.

All you can do with Bitcoin is buy drugs. And maybe a hitman.

It just isn’t true that

Bitcoin can be used for good as well as bad.

It is true that Bitcoin is riddled with scams and crooks. Mt. Gox blew up, Ross Ulbricht went down. Hardly a day goes by without somebody getting hacked or handcuffed. We all know

Bitcoin was born in sin.

Charlie Stross wants Bitcoin to die in a fire. He says

Bitcoin is evil.

I’m tired of hearing that

Bitcoin is actually close to mass adoption.

The price of Bitcoin today is nearing an all-time high, but the Economist Magazine says it’s just a bubble – Like tulip mania. The smart money says

The experiment is over – Bitcoin has failed.

But wait – isn’t this all backwards?! Read the article in reverse: Only fools believe that

[Original article by Dr. Michael Moriarty published at http://darknetmarkets.com/time-face-reality-2017/ . Dr. Michael Moriarty is the owner of https://TorWallet.com and one of the largest Bitcoin holders in the world.]

Many people have already said this thing, that bitcoin is dead, bitcoin is not the future and other negative feedback about it, but bitcoin still exist today, alive and kicking other Altcoins butts who tries to overcome its superiority amongst them. It is easy for anyone, here in this forum or maybe outside on this forum making an article for us to believe this ridiculous news about bitcoin, this kind of topic have already been here so many times, and instead of spreading this kind of news about bitcoin, why not just keep on supporting it since we are all getting benefited by it.

Let's just stop this nonsense, we don't know what will going to happen to bitcoin in the future, we just need to sit back and wait what will happen to bitcoin in the future, that is all we can do, because predictions are just predictions, it can change anytime.
1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Any Banks And Any Other Third Parties on: February 17, 2017, 03:51:49 PM
Every year migrants around the world send billions of USD/EUR back to their families. The cost of sending cash via Western Union and Money Gram averages 10-20% in fees. However bitcoin is emerging as an alternative which offers lower fees and faster payments.

Bitcoin also helps allot for countries with high inflation to store value in Bitcoins.
Bitcoin helps for millions of people worldwide.

How bitcoin helps for your life?

Banks have higher fees than bitcoin because it is not like bitcoin, which is decentralized. And yes, bitcoin helps many people in every way, specially those people who have problems about financial, but bitcoin solved that problem, and that is awesome and banks can't do it. Earning bitcoin is free for everyone who is willing to do bitcoin, it is not like fiat which you have to have a degree or talent to earn, because in bitcoin, the only requirement is you are willing to do it, you are dedicated to it.

And it changed me, bitcoin changed me for the better, bitcoin also helps me with my financial problem and now, I am not asking money anymore to my mother whenever I want to buy something that I want, because all I need to do is to convert a certain amount of bitcoin that I need, just simple as that.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sustainability of cryptocurrencies? on: February 17, 2017, 03:21:42 PM
Has anyone done any serious studies on electricity consumption due to cryptocurrency related activities like mining? Possibly with comparison between different currencies and feasibility of maintaining such consumption? Is there an argument to be made for or against them in the context of global warming?

Bitcoin Mining requires really a HUGE amount of electricity(because your PC is going to work for 24/7), time, and expensive hardware, and yes, Electrical consumption causes global warming, because of its process on how we get the electricity, technically, in order to produce electricity, we need so many processes like using a machine or a generator to produce electricity, so this generators requires something to run. For example is coal and oil, and this two materials will emits a large smoke from the machine and this will cause Global Warming to us.

But since that we need electricity on our everyday lives, the only thing that we can do is to have self-discipline on how we are using electricity, and we can't avoid to have Global Warming here in our earth by just only a few of us that will stop doing things that causes Global Warming. It should all of us, all around the world, and invent something that will erase this global Warming here in this planet.

I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

What kind of investment are you going to do with your bitcoin? If you are saying that you are goin to invest your bitcoin in those HYIP sites out there, then you are probably out of your mind, specially if you are going to invest all of your bitcoins there. Investing it on HYIPs is not safe at all, if you truly want your bitcoin to be in the safe place, then I suggest you to save it on a wallet that you are the only one who knows the password and the private key of it, to be sure that your bitcoin is in the "Safe" place.

And I'm just saving my bitcoin on my wallet and not investing it to some HYIPs out there like what you are trying to do, If I'm not mistaken. I'm saving it, holding it and wait until its price go beyond its price limit again, in that way, I could have my profit for being patience on holding this for a long time.
