TL,DR:

Das einzige was mit der Mehrheit an HashPower (>50%) möglich ist:

• Alleinige Bestimmung welche Transaktionen bestätigt werden
• Durch die längere Blockchain Blocks die von anderen Minern gefunden werden für "ungültig" erklären
• Überschreiben von bereits gefunden Blocks und damit double spends von bereits bestätigten Transaktionen, ab dem Zeitpunkt da man >50% hatte

Nicht möglich ist:

• In die Vergangenheit reisen und Blocks überschreiben die bereits gefunden wurden bevor man die Mehrheit hatte (im Prinzip schon, siehe Time Warp Angriff, würde aber eher auf nen 99,99% Angriff raus laufen --> praktisch unmöglich)
• Stehlen von Coins
• Irgendetwas das gegen die Protokoll Regeln ist, wie z.B. mehr Coins pro Block erstellen, dies wird von den Nodes (Bitcoin-QT Client) geprüft und nicht durch das Mining

No, luck is calculated with current hash rate and current difficult. Blocks per hour of the whole network have nothing to do with this calculation.


But, this really was not the important part. Luck will also go down again. Basically it just doesn't matter on which pool you mine. On Average the payout will always be the same.

And P2Pool makes mining absolute decentralized and allows you to pool mine without giving a 3rd party the ability to abuse you hash power, supporting this is a bonus.

Bitcoin-QT is just the very Basic Client and more important a full node.

It's important to have a client that just gives access to the very core functions of the protocol and that maintains the Bitcoin Network (Storing the Blockchain, Validation and relaying Block & transactions).

That's what Bitcoin QT is for. What you propose belongs IMO in an alternative client.

I like that pyramining supports p2pool. It's really sad that so few run a P2Pool node + miner.

Also variance usually equals out over time, it doesn't really matter if a pool pays daily or if you get bigger chunks once in a while. Besides p2pool is still at 120% for the last 7 days. That means at another pool pyramining would have made 20% less.

Just stop getting nervous every time a blog takes longer. That just happens.

I didn't say that. I said it can happen that a mod acts out of an impulse.

Not that a mod can just censor how he likes. But a mod that reads 100th of posts a day sometimes acts quickly. Just don't make a big deal out of it if  they act wrong once in a while.

OP, I really would give someone that really needs it and is off luck some money. But here there is a 99,9 % chance that you are just a guy that wants some free money.

So I rather give the guy that "lives" in the tunnel I pass through twice a day a tip, so I know where it goes.

It means that you have the ability to completely control the newly found blocks.

Basically you can:

• Orphant all Blocks from other miners
• Completely decide which transaction get confirmed and which not
• Invalid already confirmed transactions that have happened at the time you already had over 50% of the Hashing power (double spend) by orphaning existing blocks

What you can't:

• Steal someone coins
• Make any behaviour that is against the protocol, like for example create new coins out of thin air

Wenn selbst der letzte Bär zum Bullen wird, gibts danach keinen mehr der noch kaufen könnte, also eher ein schlechtes Zeichen.
