1241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage on: January 24, 2018, 03:35:17 PM
The high fees make it very difficult to profit of this.
That's the problem. It would be only profitable with higher amounts or you choose altcoins for arbitrage trading with fast and cheap network. You must also look at bids and ask prices, before you transfer your coins to the exchangers.
Fees is really a big factor when doing arbitrage because if the spread is way to big then it would be considerable on doing such trades but if not then doing it would be pointless because fees will eat up profits and comes to worst you would might even have loses. One thing also that do matter is confirmation times which if we do arbitrage we do really need this to execute fast trades to catch up moving prices..
Agree with this, the confirmation times is very important while we doing arbitrage trading but now bitcoin needs hours to get confirmed so we will lose the profit at the mean while time(maybe).
But I think arbitrage trading with ethereum is more more profitable than other cryotocurrency because we can get ethereum for cheaper price on coinbase and we can sell it them on any exchanges would give more profits.
Its possible on ETH or on other coins since arbitrage is not only applicable on bitcoin alone though. ETH do have much faster confirmations but would still depending on the gas being set and the current situation of the network. All things do matter on arbitrage. Confirmation times+ less fees would be the best recipe for gaining profits within this kind of trading ways.
1242  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulation Can Also Be Protection on: January 24, 2018, 02:42:00 PM

In an ideal or perfect world, we don't really need regulations because people would be following the principle of fairness and selflessness but we are not in the ideal world and so we need regulations in order to protect ourselves from people who are just waiting to crunch us alive. The only problem is when regulations are set-up not to protect but to also kill or stifle the very thing being regulated.

One area of concern for regulation is accountability. For example, without regulations placed and laws enacted for the matter, an exchange can just closed its business leaving many members holding empty bags because their funds are gone the moment the site is not anymore operating. And because the people behind the site are anonymous members don't know what to do and where to seek help.

I also felt uneasy about regulations but if done right this can be for our own advantage and the whole cryptocurrency movement.
Before entering exchange, we really know the risk involve on it. Thats what are terms and conditons stand for. Most of exchangers today needed a verifications using ID before our wothdrawals, but what the use of it if the exchangers would just shut down in an instant?

I think it would be more of a large scale exchangers to implement the regulations for the whole country and the world because in every country have a different regulations. This would not be easy if countries are not united with a certain law to implement it.
Such changes would really be implemented specially into bigger exchanges seeing of that they do able to generate millions of dollars when it comes to trading volume on daily basis which is normal for them to have those KYC to bas asked on. The risk of exchanges is there and talking about hacks since they are not backed by something then security would really be absent people do lost their coins forever once exchange been hacked.

1244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is day trading in crypto? on: January 22, 2018, 04:41:26 PM
I'm curious if day trading in crypto is more profitable comparing to forex trading? It is true that Bitcoin have a high volatility but if you need volatility you can just pick USD / GBP pair and then chose a higher leverage to get a higher profit. It seems like the amount of leverage can fix the lower profit in forex and you just won't have to deal with all crypto related problems. I will appreciate if any experienced trader wil explain me the situation. Thanks.
Comparing the volatility among these two things I would say cryptocurrency trading is more profitable because I have seen how prices do jump among those two thing but the difference is only that one is centralized and backed and the other is pure decentralized one which prices do depend on how people do adopt or engage with it. Day trading either sides would really give you income but on different amount or profitability comparison.
1245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it safe to join hashflare.io ? on: January 20, 2018, 10:48:06 PM
This cloud mining has been here for years, so the answer is yes it is safe. But there is no guarantee what will happen in the future of course, whether their business growing or go bankrupt. I recommend to not risk your bitcoin, it's better to hold it or sell at the peak and buy back after it fall instead of waiting for a really long time to get profits from cloud mining.

Is it safe?
most probably.
is it profitable to invest in it?
probably not.

Don't invest in cloud mining of bitcoin, cloud mining of alt-coins could be somewhat profitable but btc, no.
I would consider profitability on altcoin contracts except on btc indeed but talking about safety then theres no assurance on these cloud mining businesses. Profitability would really be the main issue and also instances that those cloud mining sites would become scam sooner or later that's why its not really worth to put up money on these kind of investments. If you insist then do it for your own risk.
1246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Crossed $11,000: Is it Really a Bubble? on: January 20, 2018, 09:51:22 PM
Been hearing this argument that bitcoin is a bubble every since I involved myself in this community. I have heard so much from both side that I just totally ignored all of it. Bubble or not, bitcoin is here to stay and no one can stop it. Not even a country or a single person.

I personally think it is a bubble. The price cannot continue to rise indefinitely. It isn't possible.

I haven't seen any class assets for that matter that continue to grow and sustained it. Not in crypto or stock market. So I think that argument if flawed. Again, just call it anything you want. It's really getting tired arguing about it. If the bubble has been burst then wait for it to recovered and stand up and then whole argument starts again. Its a never ending discussion.
Same here which going back on my first registration on this forum I do already see this argumentation until up to these years there are people who do repeatedly talk about bitcoin is a bubble all over again without basing or just seeing on the chart development of bitcoin it do shows that it do grows as the years goes by.There might be some price dips but those are just healthy corrections for us to proceed to go higher in value even more.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: January 20, 2018, 08:54:44 PM
This recipee could be a thing of the past. Nowdays it may be better to look for opportunities as lots of talent is going into the market. Do you still think of becoming a millionaire by hodling?

I dont think we can be millionaire very quick by holding our asset but maybe need more time become succesfull in holding asset.
I am sure that we can make it. Become millionaire by holding but not short time.

There no such thing become quick rich in trading if you do not have big ammo from the start

Holding is unlikely to make a profit. But if you choose the right potential crypto like Bitcoin to hold in the long run, you will probably make a profit from the Bitcoin exchange rate increase. In addition to investing and holding Bitcoin, you can invest more in Ethereum to make a big profit in 2018.

The Importent things is that you need to know (research), before you jump in to something, never ever fomo
Bolded part: I do agree on this one because you wont really become a millionaire if you do just hold small amounts of coins or you did just invest small amount of coins holding for long term but well theres still chance on making some huge profits but don't really expect to become millionaire easily. Hodling can really make you rich but depending on which coins you would hold off.
1248  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: For a country still illegal against bitcoin? on: January 20, 2018, 08:07:37 PM

In some Asian countries bitcoin is very influential for people to invest. why it is still illegal for a particular country. to be more clear and can be received by the government like where?

The first thing you need to do is learn how to form a proper sentence.
I agree on this one, its really confusing or do give a headache to its readers  Wink

Not a surprising thing since we do all know that not all countries tend to accept bitcoin or deciding to adopt it because there are lots of various reasons why they wont consider such thing. Decentralized, Anonymous, Cant be Taxed, Will affect financial supply.
1249  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com wants to scam cloud mining users. please help on: January 20, 2018, 07:26:21 PM
This terms I would like to react:

3) Today, January 18th, all the users have got the following notification:

Lifetime Contracts Paused, Full Refunds Available Due to regulations in China regarding Bitcoin mining, we are moving our mining equipment out of China. Unfortunately this means that we need to pause all lifetime mining contracts until the transition is completed. Only lifetime contracts are affected. Other contracts, such as 1 year or 6 month mining contracts, are located in the USA so are not affected. You have two options at this time: Receive a 100% full refund of your initial USD cost (paid in BCH at current exchange rate). Your contract will permanently end if you chose a refund. Pause your contract from January 18th until approximately April 30th while we move our hardware to a data center outside of China. Refunds are available now, and can be requested until our hash rate is back online. To receive your full refund, please go to your purchased contracts page, click on your contract, then click "Refund" to complete the process. If you prefer your contract to be paused until our hash rate is back online, no action is required. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

You wont have any choice but to wait up for that month of April. If you decide to pull out for full refund I guess it would really be not worth it since it would just base on the amount you have initially invested which is on $4000+. I'm concern on the hash changes if you make those decision but if you are still on doubt then better to pull it out because those transition is just an alibi to make full end of those lifetime contracts.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 19, 2018, 09:22:56 PM
Since it's a platform it is possible that it can be hacked,  but only in a slightly little chance. And you're asking if your wallet is safe, i'm pretty sure it is, just don't lose your private key and the 2nd key because without it, i don't know how else you can have access on your wallet.
Platform can be hacked but not to those funds being stored even MEW doesn't have the access into those wallets. Its just a matter of preference on where you do store or which way you do keep your keys as long its not being disclosed on public or someone do have access on it then those coins would really be just fine.Even myself I do store up my keys on just USB sticks but divided them on 3 usb's incase of emergency happens and store it on the place that I'm the only one who knows.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: January 19, 2018, 08:31:06 PM
How do you feel about the fact that in some bounty companies change the date of delivery of reports. Change the amount of coins.
In general, at the height of the advertising company do what they want. I am amazed at this dishonest game. What is your opinion?
That kind of disappointing on the part of bounty hunters. I agree that there are many bounties like that. They changed the rules on the last minute of the bounty campaign. The worst case is that the tokens you received is not the same as written on the spreadsheet. Bounty managers and developers must work together to resolve such situations.
Not only on last minute but mostly such changes being made when the ICO finishes or reaching out their desired target. Managers wont really able to do something if developers would decide on cutting out the tokens but there are instances where theres some manipulation on spreadsheets either on managers intention or on other people. Cutting off payouts is really happening because I have experienced those things.
1252  Local / Esercizi commerciali / Re: what do you think will be the future of this market? on: January 19, 2018, 07:30:10 PM
This market will further improve. I think it will still fluctuate as it is because that is how Bitcoin behaves right. It will reach higher point of price that we can't even imagine. Furthermore, it will soon be recognized as one of the major currencies not as the primary currency around the world. There will be tons of investor in this market for how convenient bitcoin is really for all of the finance needs.
The number of crypto which are there in the market is very huge. There are number of coins and most of them are just shit coins and there is nothing good in investing your money in such kind of coins. Moreover, the market of such coins will remain the same as is now. However, the coins like that of bitcoin and other top rated coins will definitely grow in the future.
Only the strongest would really remain and have been supported by the community.I do agree on the fact that most coins in the market are just trash or doesn't really worth it to invest but yet we can select potential ones which we do see to last longer for more years to come.Talking about consideration of government then it would be still debatable because we do know the issues been rise up between government and cryptocurrencies.
1253  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to install a Bitcoin ATM in my city? on: January 18, 2018, 08:45:54 PM
a very good idea, but in any case you need a development team, an investor, and connections with the ATM BCM!
Bitcoin is decentralized and the government has nothing to do with bitcoin and they may not allow you to install ATM in your city. The big problem is the users if there is no user in your city then installing ATM will not be a good idea. Users are mandatory to use ATM for their transactions. I would like to advise you to invest in bitcoin besides installing an ATM in your city. You will make more money from your investment.
This would be on case to case basis only.If his country or place do have some good significant amount of bitcoin users then its ideal to put some ATM but should really set some reasonable interest on each bitcoin being bought by them because if they would find out its way more expensive than on buying on exchange then this thing wont really be worth of since people will surely neglect.Just only set reasonable price and also adoption and awareness will be there also which would really potentially increase even more bitcoin users on the place.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: January 18, 2018, 07:26:18 PM
Good day,
Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?
If yes do I need to sell all alts and wait for rising BTC?
What to do now ? I am confused!!!!
Always Diversify. Don't just focus on 1 coin only but its not really bad to invest into bitcoin purely but it much would really be more worth if you do accumulate both things rather than on having one.Talking on reaching $20k price again then its possible knowing bitcoin do really reach out new heights as the year passed by but come to think that alts will really give you the opportunity on giving out x100 or even more depending on which potential coin you do hold.
1255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dip over? on: January 18, 2018, 05:26:59 PM
Do you think we've seen the worst of this dip for now?
Bitfinex cryptowatch shows the lowest deal on BTC for this time was 9,231$ which was just about a Fibonacci retracement (almost on point). I am not using TA normally, but I am considering it when thinking about the market. For now, it looks like the worst is over. This dip might be a healthy thing for the market, and CAN be the catalyst for another run-up.
What is your take on the situation?
We should really be thankful on these kind of corrections because it do signifies a healthy market. Its much better than on those upward movement always on crypto which isn't really good at all. Now basing on technical analysis we can already presumed that we are already ready to take off some heights as of now. Green can be seen on the market even on upcoming months but yet no one really knows on what is the movement knowing its really an unpredictable thing.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: January 17, 2018, 08:07:02 PM
if this happens there must be a sense of disappointment, if this change does not affect on wages, no problem for me.
Disappointment would really be there since no one would really like to lessen our possible wage which have been agreed since from the start.Changing rules on bounty programs do really suck because you are already expecting something which is fixed specially on the tokens you would receive but in the end they do decide to change the rules which would really result into rage.  Cool They do deserve red trust Roll Eyes
1257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it chance to jump in? on: January 17, 2018, 07:23:04 PM
the market is down now. Coins are cheap now. Do you think it's time to jump in now, or we can wait for lower price?
Its your money which its your decision on when to jump in but all of us do having the same questions on mind if this is the best time to jump in or buy even more since we are already on the dips. For now on current situation I'm still waiting on the possible bottom price either on bitcoin or on altcoins which I do have some basis on my own seeing charts using technical analysis -I might be wrong but I would still wait a little further before I do get in.
1258  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 16, 2018, 09:59:21 PM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people donīt have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?
Why not? Not only to those knowledgeable person who do deserve such chances on getting rich. We do know that those people risk their own money before they are longing for profits and now it do happen which they do really deserve it and theres no questions on that one.Its just selfish to think that they don't deserve those money. We are all equal here on chances on getting rich and we can freely do make our actions on achieving it no matter what.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Earn with Altcoins on: January 16, 2018, 08:17:40 PM
What are the ways to earn money from cryptocurrencies apart from investing in ICOs? Is their any way to make money without any investment.
Without investments then there are lots of ways to earn even though you didn't pull out a single cent in your own pocket by means of Bounties/Airdrops and Freelancing skills. By these kind of ways you can earn up money but do really require some work or task because we do all know there is no easy money here on crypto world which means you will eventually still need to do some work before you earn some tokens and to think off that gained tokens doesn't really give an assurance to make some good profits but somehow it do give the chance regarding on this matter.
1260  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: January 14, 2018, 11:13:40 PM
I like to control the money so, to me anyway, mining is the more comfortable way to go. Profitable? Maybe, maybe not. But I like to sleep good at night Smiley

Trading doesn't necessarily have to be something you are very active with. I for example consider myself to be an occasional trader, where I buy now, wait for the price to move up or down depending on my position at that time, and then comfortably strike. In some cases you can do so in a matter of days, and in some cases it takes a few weeks. If you play it smart, you can benefit from each direction the market heads into, so it's not that you can't sleep well -- that just plays inside your head. Mining requires you to keep an eye on so many crucial variables, that I see more risk in that part of the market than occasional trading what I do. On top of that, doing this occasional trading, or longer term holding of a certain coin, has proven to be more profitable. But then again, opinions may differ....
I'm with you regarding into this which Is actually true that trading doesn't really be necessary to make ourselves suffer on having less sleep maybe on active traders but yet somehow this thing can really be changed up if we want to. Trading smartly with proper time management regarding on your trading positions will really tell the difference and in regards of profitability I would really go on trading since there are lots of coins to be chosen from it might not be on constant basis but potential profits is huge compared into mining and also its way to technical for me to maintain such farm.
