1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 02, 2023, 05:49:42 PM
I think Bernardo Silva will not leave Manchester City now probably. Manchester City are seeing him as a really important player right now. They are thinking of making a huge improvement in his salary. It is even talked about doubling his current salary I mean. This would be an offer which is hard to refuse for Silva probably.

Manchester City can get a really solid offer for him this summer. But I don't think they would let go of him anyway. I don't know if Silva would like to leave for Saudi teams either. I think it is a little early for him to do so.

But I know that Saudi teams started to sign a deal with younger players lately also. Therefore it is up to his call if there is a huge offer to be seen.

Do you guys actually think he is going to go to the Saudi league? I am genuinely asking. Personally, I don’t think he is going to go to the Saudi league. That is going to be a huge step down for him. But in the last few years we have seen a lot of things become possible because of Money. So there is never a 0% possibility of this happening.

I think Manchester City is not going to accept any offer from the Saudi league because the player is too valuable for them right now. But question is what if the offer is really big? Will the club still be able to say no? After all, they can always bring another really good player with that type of money. And isn’t that the best thing for the club?

If you would like to find out about my answer it is no. I don't think Bernardo Silva would like to leave Europe now. He has won his first Champions League title in his career with Manchester City. I think this will make him even more competitive to fight for increasing the number of his achievements.

He is going to be 29 years old eight days later and has two more years to go on his contract. I think he will stay at Manchester City at least until the end of his current contract. But I feel like he will even extend the duration of his contract soon as the potential offer by his team is said to be huge like I said.

Now there is a break of one month. But I must admit that I'm not sad about it at all. Because there is literally no competition for the championship. It is the same old thing with Hamilton's domination with W11 which has been the fastest car in F1 history. Until 2026 season I don't expect anything to change even a bit.

Because none of the other teams is able to close the gap with Red Bull even a little. Especially with Verstappen. They will need at least a car which is as fast as Red Bull's to have a chance to heat up the championship race. But only McLaren have made big progress which is still far behind Red Bull.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 01, 2023, 06:53:39 PM
I haven't heard anything about Osimhen like he is planning to join Milan. Why would he think of doing so in the first place? There is no motivation for him to do it while he is playing for the last champion of the league. Napoli are likely to be a competitive team for the Serie A title regularly from now on. It just depends on establishing a good relationship with Rudi Garcia.

Besides Milan wouldn't even like to spend that much money on anyone. Osimhen's asking price would be around 150 million euros I guess. Milan don't make this kind of big transfers as they don't feel the need for it.

I think Osimhen would be signed by a top team in other big leagues in the future. But I don't feel like it will happen this summer.

1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 01, 2023, 06:15:32 PM
It is just too difficult for PSG to lose the title to another team in the league. They need to make an extra effort to cause that to happen. The season in which Lille became the champions was exactly like that. I'm not underestimating the effort Lille made throughout the season of course. But PSG's losing more points than usual was a big help.

The previous season was also a candidate for that but Lens wasted some serious opportunities while we were getting close to the end of the season. PSG are going to have a fresh start with Luis Enrique with a different system maybe. But I still don't think they would lose the league title anyway.

It's interesting about Bernardo Silva.
Previously he was rumored to be going to the Arab League because there was an offer to Manchester City but I did not continue to follow this news, maybe he refused to go there, then there is news today that Bernardo Silva also rejected an offer from PSG he wants to play in the Spanish League which club is he referring to? Is it Barcelona who will be joining Gundongan?
When it comes to Real Madrid I don't think it's possible.

I was checking squad of Pendikspor lately and observed that they announced new transfers from very very lower leagues. I feel very sad about them honestly. League is going to start soon and they have one of the weakest squads in the league in later years. I hope they can at least rent some more experienced players so they will not relegate at the end of season. Other Anatolian teams have many unknown but skilled players from south america. Pendikspor is basically so weak...

I'm afraid there is no such thing in our league like the promoted team gets a huge deal of money for that. There is a system like that in the Premier League and it is really hard not to be jealous of it. But of course our league is a poor one compared to the Premier League. Even the champion team doesn't get a decent amount of money here.

Economic conditions are getting even worse in this country and it affects Turkish football deeply also. Teams have no other choice rather than signing big sponsorship deals or getting into debt more when they want to bring good names to our league.
1268  Local / Konu Dışı / Re: Şampiyonlar Ligi 2022/2023 on: July 31, 2023, 03:46:47 PM

David Raya and David de Gea are the only alternatives to be rumoured for Bayern Munich to replace Sommer. Actually it depends on whether he leaves or not. For now as you have also mentioned his name is called with Inter. If Sommer goes there there will be a serious need of a new goalkeeper.

Because Neuer can't start playing as of the beginning of this season. Even if he returns I have big doubts about him to continue from where he left. He has got really old (37) and I think it is time for Bayern Munich to replace him permanently.

Between the two alternatives I mentioned my preference would be David de Gea.  Smiley

It didn't take me a long time to start watching a boring race. Because Verstappen has overtaken everyone in not a long time and he is closing in on Perez to take the lead slowly. Leclerc couldn't defend his place against Perez much just as I expected. On that long straight after leaving the first a few turns behind it was easy for Perez to overtake him.

Piastri was really unlucky that he was out of the race a short time after the start. Because there was a chaos at the end of the start straight. Sainz and Piastri touched and both cars took damage. Sainz is still continuing maybe but he is far behind in the standings right now.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 28, 2023, 07:33:24 PM
Bellingham has already started to show his skills at Real Madrid. His performance in the friendlies so far has been impressive. It looks like he has no adaptation problem at all but I wasn't expecting so too. Bellingham is a really solid talent and he can play his own game comfortably where he goes.

Real Madrid have been like a dream team for him so he must be aiming to put his everything into every single one of their matches to be successful. I expect him to work hard to earn his place in the starting eleven.

In the end he isn't only competing with other young midfielders in the squad. He is competing with very experienced stars like Modric and Kroos too.  Grin

Liquid is the biggest surprise so far in IEM Cologne Play-in brackets. Because first they lost to Astralis. After that we saw them defeating BIG in Lower Round 1. But in the last lower round they lost to 9INE by 2-1. We are talking about a 1 million-dollar tournament and Liquid can't go there because of losing against a worse team than themselves.

They played the decider on Overpass which wasn't a map they were very successful on though. But still I believed in them to make it against 9INE. YEKINDAR couldn't take enough responsibility on this map to carry his team to the main tournament.

It wasn't even one of his best days either because his general performance on all maps wasn't good enough.

1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 28, 2023, 06:12:50 PM
I'm not very surprised to see Inter being favoured for the Serie A title by bookmakers. I can't overlook the dominance of Napoli last season of course. It was some rare kind of success we have seen from Napoli so far. It was really special for them to become champions in this way too. But this still doesn't make me trust them too much for repeating this success in this season also.

Napoli have brought Rudi Garcia and there will be a need to have a good bond between the manager and players. They will continue to use the same system most probably and it would be great if they don't continue to lose important players.

But I will still not wait for seeing the same dominance. This time I'm expecting especially Inter to get more serious about the title. They have gained a lot of strength lately and they should be able to maintain it by this season.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 28, 2023, 06:04:33 PM
I wonder how good the relationship between Mbappe and Luis Enrique will be for this year at least. Luis Enrique had a really good bond with Barcelona players in the past and Messi was there also. They became the Champions League winners once too - which was in the 2014/15 season. This makes me wonder whether a similar bond would be created between Enrique and PSG players also.

Before anything else the thing I wonder is whether Enrique's system will fit PSG well. Because we all know how Barcelona have been playing for years. Their system is quite different from PSG's. Enrique would be very likely to try the same thing for PSG this time.

However PSG don't play a tiki taka football. They like to play much faster than that and Mbappe is playing a big role in that system. This is the interesting point for now until we see some official matches of them.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 27, 2023, 07:33:12 PM
Kane leaving would make sense, but Kane being sold doesn't really make sense at these prices. I mean he is not 100 million type of guy, he isn't even 80 million type of guy. He has been solid and consistent at premier league which is a tough thing to do but he has always been the striker for a good team and he gets those kind of chances anyway.

If he goes to Bayern that would make sense, he would still get those chances, so it fits the change and could be considered good, like for example I wouldn't want him at Barcelona, but could work at Bayern. But not for that much money, because how many more years could he do that? I would say maximum of 5 years. This is why it is a dangerous situation and shouldn't be considered to pay that much.

His market value is still 90 million euros despite being near becoming 30 years old now. It is really not seen for so many players but Kane's performance has been really incredible in the recent years. Last season was even something else. He scored 30 goals in the EPL while Tottenham weren't even able to qualify for any tournament.

His high level performance has always kept his value very high. But normally it isn't seen very often that teams pay around 100 million for a player. But now I'm afraid this is the only way for Bayern Munich to sign Kane this summer. They can surely wait for a free transfer but they need a striker right now.

Kane is really just the kind of a striker they would make use of now.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 27, 2023, 07:07:44 PM
Friendly matches are not a worth to see games, they were played without fierce, and we see so many tries of players and tactics.

Some games are played with subs players and the one with starters are played without the real energy of a game, no one its gonna risk a injury. Thankfully its gonna end soon this part of the season called pre-season.

Friendly matches seem attracting to me mostly when we see some special tournaments are organized in pre-season. We have seen so many of them over the years so far. Such tournaments must include big teams mostly also of course for me to find them interesting. In this case players also make a really good effort as there is a symbolic title at the end too.

Last night there was a really wonderful match between Arsenal and Barcelona which was no different than a match in the Champions League by the way.

This kind of matches give new transfers a big chance to show their skills more comfortably to prove themselves to their coaches for the regular season.

Xavi was seeing it just as a friendly. He even made a statement after the match like they played a friendly match but Arsenal played a Champions League match. Because Arsenal's performance was really just like that. The players were on the pitch to get a solid win as much as possible. But it wasn't the case for Barcelona exactly.

Xavi was just focused on giving as much chance as possible to all of his players to help them gain some match fitness. But I still like the way Arsenal played against them. Because a friendly match really turned into a much more serious and enjoyable one thanks to that.  Grin  This is what I love about Arsenal the most.

IEM Cologne Play-in matches are going on. I saw NIP quite weak against MOUZ interestingly. They have been a better team than MOUZ so far. I thought that they would win the series by 2-1. But they couldn't even resist MOUZ much on especially the second map. There is another chance for NIP still.

They are going to face Imperial. Truthfully Imperial are no different than MOUZ when we look at their placement in rankings. However Imperial's recent form has been impressive. They even defeated Vitality in a BO3 series not a long time ago. They can show a really impressive team performance when they are fully concentrated.

NIP will be the favourite by bookmakers most probably but I'm thinking of giving Imperial a chance.  Smiley
