I hope it goes down. If it it's too high and it gets added in Poloniex, people will instantly dump at the second it gets in Poloniex, and it will remain down for a long time until next pump (as usual).
Price needs a correction, then we can talk about getting in. I can't risk my money buying now.
Of course, it can be pumped by whales to 10 or more, who knows.... I dont want to miss out, but, i dont want to lose BTC...

I wonder if PIVX can reach 10 dollars? it seems to be doing great, but the supply is heavily centralized in the hands of very few, it's way worse than bitcoin and bitcoin has big whales itself... how are they going to solve this? This is a bigger problem in PoS!
Wait what? PIVX (previously DarkNet) was fairly distributed during a long POW phase. 60,000 coins were pre-mined, but then destroyed (to support masternodes). There is a record of these premined coins being burned. The only holders of PIVX bought it, and have continued to hold as price has risen. All coins were either bought or mined. There was no premine, instamine, developer fund, team fund, etc. It is not fair to say that this crypto is centralized. Anyone who is holding more than 50,000 is at massive risk of big loss if price crashes. Risk/reward. If anything, a few people were smart and saw the potential early, then had the balls to keep holding as price rocketed up (could have just have easily crashed). What i've read is that the whales can keep up stacking, therefore they can control all masternodes I need real proof of this coin not being centralized. I wouldn't care if this was PoW, but it's PoS. Also, why people say it will never hit Polo? Waves never hit Polo as well... |

Jihan has full control over segwit in LTC too. The only way BTC or LTC can get segwit is UASF. UASF will get more and more support overtime. People are just not going to sit back and see how BTC becomes useless for 99.99% of population, so JihanChain will not get any support.

I would like to become a skilled texas holdem player. Whenever I go to te casino to play some casual games with friends I get smoked. Kids nowadays are so good because they play all day online, this may not be enough to win experienced real life players but casual and medium level players can be destroyed by skilled online players.

zcash have a very high emission rate now, look at the block time and reward, and value, the emission is crazy high, 10 coins x 576 block day x 0.05 btc each one, this is almost 300 btc per day and only etheruem have a higher rate than this, but the value of zcash isn't that high, in fact zcash is not among the first 10 coins on coinmarketcap and only with 66M of marketcap
Too many coins getting created, inflation rate will be too high for too much time, i dont know what developers were thinking. I think XMR is a better anonymous coin than ZCash, im not sure about the tech but from what i've read if I had to to trust my safety on anonymous transaction I would use XMR and not ZCash because I dont like the fact that you must devs in having properly deleted the masterkey. |

I've read in an interview that the bitbay price will eventually be "fixed" so it will be like fiat. What is the point in buying such a coin yet? im trying to understand because I saw some mentioning this but most bitbay supports dont mention it. |

Will buy some monero if it keeps going down. Lower than 0.015 is probably a good entry point, since the price exploded the overall trend is an uptrend if you draw a line on the resistances... maybe a good long term coin if you can buy in cheap, it doesnt seem to suffer from the big drama of bitcoin and litecoin or at least thus far..

I don't think there will be a game changer coin coming soon. All new alt-coins are just coming behind a hype but they just died a natural death even for a few months in its existence. So I doubt that someone will be super rich in 5 years in unlikely. What you should just go with the flow of pump and dump then go ready for the next coin to do the same. That's how you gonna be rich with alt-coins. There have been a couple of opportunities to get rich. With DASH you could have made a couple of millions with a reasonable initial investment. There are a decent amount of opportunities, no need to wait 5 years. |

I have an altcoin in mind that differs significantly from the existing alternatives. Unfortunately, I do not have the skills required to implement the design changes from the available open source libraries. Does anyone have advice on where to find someone(s) available for hire that might have the right talents?
You can put job offers on this website in the marketplace subforum, you are going to need to offer a good payday if you want to get good coders for your idea, most good coders are working on their own projects I assume. |

Why bother to wait for that to happen if we can make today a way to become "rich" my simply taking a ride on bitcoin and altcoin at the same time. You guys just want an instant rich scheme with that kind of desire. Look how profitable bitcoin today and those alts. It's a matter of patience and good strategy to make your trading properly maintained it's winning streak while you are in the world of trades. Just think of a good way seriously and you can win this game.  You can't find yourself in the wrong side waiting for the price you have in your mind that never comes. For example im waiting for LTC to go down to 0.0085 to buy back in and continue riding upwards, but what if 0.0085 never comes? I think it's a realistic dip, but it may never come and I may wake up tomorrow at a much higher price. This makes me want to buy right now, and if I buy right now, who knows if it finally dips to even lower prices? It's not as easy, you can lose hard earned BTC!! |

i know your angry that you have to kiss corporate ass and give up your morals and personal opinions just to live and keep your income flowing. even having to subsidise your income with the crappy sig-spamming thus angry that i have made my income personally from being an early adopter. thus i have the freedom to not need to kiss ass and can remain frank about my opinion while travelling around without borders, limits or having a boss to report to i just hope one day you realise blockstream will move on and you realise this before they do, so that your not wasting your time kissing ass for no reason. try to in future. when thinking of replying. look in the mirror and think about what hat you are wearing when you reply. and make sure its a diverse decentralised bitcoin hat... and not a blockstreamist defender hat. then maybe you can recover some respect. because you wont attain any of the blockstreamist titles of bitcoin-wizard bitcoin-dragon bitcoin-ninja franky1 the multi millionaire early investor that travels around the world with his millions while posting all day on bitcointalk.org. Seems legit. If you had millions worth of BTC you wouldn't be as dumb as supporting something that will crash the price. The only whale doing that is Roger Ver and he obviously has incentives to do so. All actual whales like Loaded and Mircea Popescu are anti BUcoin and want BTC to remain as it is or are pro segwit, but NEVER want to jeopardize his wealth by putting illiterate idiots in charge of the code. |

Some claim that Bitcoin will never get Segregated Witness and since Litecoin has higher possibilities to get it, they say people will move there for everyday transactions.
I think the price of LTC will go up again when/if it gets to 75%, but I fail to see how Bitcoin will "never" get Segregated Witness when all that's needed is UASF, and UASF will gain more acceptance now after the ASICBOOST debacle.
