1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain for retailing - the best idea ever on: May 28, 2019, 02:30:09 PM
Why noone uses blockchain for retailing? The blockchain for the trading sector may offer a lot to increase the base of regular customers. It would be really profitable for merchants to create a single base based on the blockchain in order to offer users a general loyalty scheme. After all, merging, trading companies can make a big profit if buyers know that their loyalty tokens can be spent in several different stores.
I'd like to know your opinion. Please, share ur thoughts

There is a very good idea where loyalty rewards programs can be implemented in the blockchain system, but come back to every platform or store. If they use the blockchain system then all other systems will automatically use the blockchain, but unfortunately there are still no platforms or stores that use the full blockchain system.

In my country there are many shops and platforms that use loyalty rewards programs, but they are easier to run through the systems they create and here the understanding of blockchain is still small. But hopefully in other countries it will become a new innovation to develop blockchain in all countries including my country.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get notifications when BTC rices or drops on: May 28, 2019, 02:13:24 PM

Anyone knows like an app or something that notifies you when bitcoin is increasing or falling?

So far I have never heard of an application where when the price of bitcoin goes down or rises there is a notification. Unless I set an alarm on the tradingview application or something when the price has passed the line I specify.
I think this is the most effective way because you can determine for yourself the point where you feel bitcoin will go down.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will NBA teams start paying Bitcoin to their players? on: May 28, 2019, 12:47:30 PM
I know this is crazy for non-Bitcoiners, but for me, it's a possibility.

I came across an article from Bitcoinist about NFL players preferring to get paid in Bitcoin than fiat money. They're joining the revolution.

Source: https://bitcoinist.com/pay-in-bitcoin-nfl-players-join-russell-okung/

In the NBA, the Sacramento Kings are the first NBA team to accept Bitcoin payments via BitPay, and Golden State Warriors' sponsor, Rakuten, bought a crypto exchange.

I wonder when NBA players will start doing their own revolution by forcing their respective teams to pay them in Bitcoin?

I would love to see this coming, but what are your thoughts on this one guys. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Cheers!

This is quite unique in my opinion and attracts NBA fans to know more about bitcoin. And maybe the NBA players are bitcoiners, yeah, there are actually many bitcoiners but it's just that we don't know their background yet.
But I hope that this will create a new bitcoiner in various fields.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Theft Online - Reimbursement? on: May 28, 2019, 12:12:56 PM
What is clear is not, when your coin is stolen it means there is carelessness that you did and this is purely your fault. But even though it's not your fault, it's clear that no web wallet developer has compensated the user.
But if your coin is stolen from an exchange, it could be that the coin stolen from you was replaced by an exchange developer like binance yesterday.
1305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume on: May 28, 2019, 11:39:43 AM
Strongly appreciate and support this new policy. This will help traders and investors to analyze coins without having to manipulate market volume.
As it is known to many who think that the coinmarketcap might be a rival of Coingecko, where CMC recently worked with coin developers to manipulate volume, whether this news is true or false, I certainly hope Coingecko becomes the best market overview.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARRIVAL IEOs _ Investigate before investing on: May 27, 2019, 02:20:43 PM
Yes I agree. You need to have a research before investing. Don't be attracted and trust in a small period of time because you might loss if there is something wrong in your investment. We need to be knowledgable in every investment that we do and in every decision that we make in this industry. Study forst before you invest,be wise investor.
Nothing goes wrong with investment but all happens as a result of how to treat and deal with it. Once you are done with it several times then your fear will fly away and your excitement and dominancy will catch fire. IEOs are much secure due to the action of reliable and trustworthy exchanges as third-party authority between the user and the project. Do research about it and get started with it as it works well.

Yes, I understand, that IEOs are safer than ICO because they have been trusted by the exchange platform. But don't you think that these scammers are hiding behind this IEO, see that many IEO projects in Bittrex are said to be very good projects but in reality after the IEO is finished the results are not much different from ICO and even worse than ICO.
Yes, assuming people are different about this, I just hope they can choose the right thing and not make them regret.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmed! PayPal Joined Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Business on: May 27, 2019, 02:01:17 PM
Please stop spreading unconfirmed details on here ,this news reached out to PayPal and guess what? They denied ever getting into crypto space at all ,I think we should stop spreading unconfirmed news until its officially been confirmed ,it would have been a great news for crypto space if it was true

I don't think it's wrong for the OP to spread this news, whether it's confirmed or not. Yes, maybe the intention of the OP is for people here to know that Paypal will use Blockchain and Crypto, although this is not certain to have at least good speculation than spreading the FUD here.

For the OP, thank you for sharing this good news, I hope crypto users will be more confident about crypto.
1308  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020's gonna be lit!! on: May 27, 2019, 01:39:47 PM
* Halving is on its way 2020
* and I'm hoping Facebook's "GlobalCoin" comes after that- (this is going to introduce about a Billion people to Bitcoin and crypto)
* Craig Wright's sh*t has been gotten over haha
lastly, another possible China FUD Smiley lol

* facebook's centralized token has nothing to do with bitcoin and i don't think it introduces anyone to "bitcoin"

Yes, I know that the centralized token launched by Facebook has nothing to do with Bitcoin. But right at least from how many billion Facebook users are more educated with blockchain technology adopted by these centralized coins.
and this will increase the confidence of crypto users or investors against bitcoin.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Decent Exchanges? on: May 27, 2019, 01:13:42 PM
sorry, it wasn't my intention to vilify HITBTC before. Within 1 year, there have been many negative responses about HitBTC, many of the members here are disappointed with this exchange platform. One of them is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2556342.0, among them there are those whose balance is suddenly lost, Some are hacked, etc.

And I've also experienced it myself, where I never felt logged in HitBTC but there was a login notification in my email, yes it sounds strange but from here I started to stop using it. There are still many out there better exchanges than him.
All of this, I have another alternative from Binance and HitBTC, which is Koinoin, you have to see and try it.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Money Illusion on: May 27, 2019, 01:03:47 PM
Very informative content even though it has been published for a long time. I understand what is being discussed, there is a lot of speculation about the money that has emerged since I was in junior high school. On average they do say this is an illusion that not even a few say this is magic.
How can it be, which was previously gold and silver as a means of payment and is now being replaced with only a piece of paper, strange isn't it. These facts are viewed from many perspectives, from dollars, euros, etc. I have seen the other side of money from other videos and that is indeed the fact that money is an illusion.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So when are you buying?? on: May 27, 2019, 12:46:53 PM
You saw this potential coin last week. The price was rising, you made up your mind to buy later so you created a thread here with the subject "is it a good time to buy?". 3 days ago, you checked up on the coin again and it has increased by 20%, you were still doubting if its the right time to buy. Today the coin has increased by 50% of the initial price you saw and you are getting more confused. My friend take this from me, in crypto, it always now or never. Happy trading to you all!

nice words and nice questions in the subject on this thread buddy
i think each people have their own predictions in cryptocurrencies, wich mean each people have different analysis mate
sometimes people who wait longer to buy a coins, is not because they are doubt about crypto, but because they are waiting for another confirmations in their charts  Wink
regards

I think so, everyone has their own analysis in the bitcoin chart, they have their own way and standards in determining Open Position. Although most of them prefer to buy after confirmation of correction, I think this method is quite safe in trading.
But there are still many ignorant people who don't want to learn to trade, they always ask when the time is right? Can this coin still go up? Stupid question without learning it.
1312  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your BITCOIN price prediction this year? on: May 27, 2019, 11:40:43 AM
Let's have a little talk and let's say everyone's mind concerning BITCOIN BTC mooning, can it really beat as of last year price it Hits?

Let me have your thoughts so we know if it's recommended for those Newbies in the market to pick in now or stay off the market?

Come on, everyone here doesn't know whether to beat the price the year before, everyone here just speculates that bitcoin will break past last year.
Yes, in my opinion it can be seen from the graph and good news that appears, moreover bitcoin is getting closer and closer to bitcoin halving in May 2020.
So if you are a newbie, it's better to enter the market now, because in the next 6 months, according to my analysis, bitcoin will go to the moon.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Courage for cryptocurrency participants on: May 27, 2019, 11:23:12 AM
It is best to learn from other people's mistakes and believe in yourself. And soon you will not be very hurt by their own mistakes. Study the industry and believe in your actions.

Yup, confidence is the main key before deciding what investment you should do. I have been investing in crypto for a long time, indeed self confidence is very important but there are very useful lessons here where I have to be independent in investment, where I have to accept all the risks that I have invested, in cryptolah I am truly independent in terms of investment .

I have never regretted it when I failed because it was part of success, even though it was a bit hypocritical to say it. Learning is very important for crypto to invest in. This is not less risk gold.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: May 27, 2019, 10:10:58 AM
This is because there are many IEO projects lining up at Binance, but I am sure that this has never been a threat to ETH for the long term, moreover the BNB has not been widely available in many exchanges like Ethereum.
BNB has now become a popular coin, although now ethereum still has a good market, but until now the progress of BNB price growth also needs to be considered. ethereum has the opportunity to grow more expensive now because bitcoin is experiencing growth today. but to reach $ 2500 I think it's a long process.

BNB is now a very popular coin, since they switched from the Ethereum platform. But I think there's no need to worry for Ethereum about the BNB, because this will be a very very difficult task for BNB to pursue Ethereum. Moreover, the ripple can't go beyond ethereum.

For OP speculation about ETH going to $2500 I don't know for sure, which will definitely be a heavy homework for ETH after its 2018 fall yesterday.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: May 27, 2019, 09:51:29 AM
lets post current portfolio, reason, update when it happens and future plans.

my current portfolio:
40% ONT
60% BTMX

reason for ONT:
ROI if ONG keeps this level: 20% in a year

reason for BTMX
ROI right now is 62% per year for locked coins in mining.

future plans:
1/4 BTMX, 1/4 NEO, 1/4 ONT, and the rest spread in 10 other coins?

You've limited yourself, my portfolio has got 20+ coins. Among that around ten were worthless. The rest has peaked high along with bitcoin, and now lying almost dead. With the hope of recovery holding it. Maybe in long term it could let me earn big, also it didn't have much trading volume. So, this can get de listed or grow high. My portfolio is full of risk involved assets.

Assets are indeed the highest risk, but in my opinion it's not good if you hold a lot of coins that are more risky, while there are still many coins that are safer.
So far I have always analyzed more about the coins that I will hold, in terms of potential and risk aspects, of course I choose low-risk coins.
I think the choice of OP is right, it doesn't need too many portfolios, as long as it fits your budget and target.
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn About A Fellow Bitcoiner on: May 25, 2019, 02:36:16 PM

1. How has bitcoin/blockchain changed your life?
2. What kind of work do you do?
3. What kind of work do you wish you could do?
4. What do you wish to see bitcoin become?

1. Bitcoin gives freedom to what I have. I can get something without having to interfere with the government. Many know that bitcoin is able to change the world economy, and this has been proven.
2. I am an IT student who works part time, I like to take part in projects like bounty, a lot of knowledge that I can get behind money.
3. As I said above, I am an IT student. Of course I want to be a top class programmer, and what I want to do is be a developer like the ICO project.
4. I want to make bitcoin a change in my country, where it will compete internationally. As many people hope, only requires that bitcoin be recognized anywhere.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1-Month Investment: ETH? BCH? on: May 24, 2019, 04:38:25 PM
ETH and BCH are both good coins to hold while the price is in the bull run but on my own, I choose ETH for much stable price increase compared to BCH.
So if you going to invest ETH is the best option because I also heard that there is an upcoming big development about this coin.

I have other suggestion RVN and Zcoin are also good coins and the price is pretty cheap compared to 2 coins above.

No, ETH is stable when viewed from the price but ETH is too slow to play a reflection. I think BCH is better, even though the price is down now, he is able to return in a short time. I see BCH will continue to rise until it reaches $1000.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Block Halving cout down on: May 24, 2019, 03:44:29 PM
I have saved a few bitcoins since last year when the price dropped. I know when bitcoin halving arrives it will be a surprise to me. And this will be my biggest investment.

I don't know if there are many people like me, but it seems like people trade more daily. But yeah, hopefully they will experience a surprise when Bitcoin Halving arrives.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Discussion on: May 24, 2019, 03:26:56 PM
Anyone here a huge supporter of EOS? Let's share news, ideas, opinions.

I like EOS, I have EOS and some tokens in my EOS wallet. Although this EOS network is not as good as Ethereum but so far the EOS network is more trusted and I have never seen it until a scammer on this EOS network.
To have your own EOS wallet, you must use some money. And I like this because not everyone can have it like the spammers.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: May 24, 2019, 11:38:08 AM
I know this news is quite big, and makes some crypto lovers happy. With AT & T supporting Bitcoin and BCH before, now the Facebook discourse will be realized.

And in my opinion, this time Facebook won't use crowdfunding through third parties like the IEO. In fact, they can still collect funding targets through ICO, or without ICO, many investors have been interested in funding this project.

On the other hand, I had guessed a few months ago when there was a thread discussing this Facebook coin. They certainly won't use a decentralized system for their coins. Because Facebook itself is a business company.
