So i read about this a bit and its a crazy amalgamation of human greed and game theory. The basis of the game is in what they call behavioral game theory which is called as the "War of attrition" and apparently, teach at HBS. Crazy suckers. I kind of dig the new sports betting feature. I do like the UI and the simple design overall. Regarding the odds I still haven't found the time to compare them to the other providers, but I guess they are decent enough. I don't know if everyone received it, but the Stake team was kind enough to offer me a bonus and after a pretty safe bet on Juventus against Madrid I managed to bag a few bucks. yeah.. yeah.. I know it's not much, but I am not an avid gambler  Yeah, I like it too, for the UI it is very minimalist but also complete with navigation so it is not too excessive. Although this type of sports betting is relatively new, but I am sure that stake can surpass the top sports betting sites such as sportsbet, etc. Maybe they just need to add many more contests to attract players to get to know their new features. |

One of my personal preference of a gambling site is the simplicity of the graphics user interface without thinking to hard how the game works because a complexity of a site should never to difficult to understand when all you want to do is bet and win also one the convenient thing about this site is that you dont have to go through filling out all those forms and verify who you are that's just a pain for me. I only have one suggestion is that, can you also have a feature where users can earn altcoin or bitcoins through faucet or giveaways.

After watching some bets threads users bet in one game at a time, but this way it would take big time to make a real profit.

For me, it's also okay to bet one at a time. PROFITS IS PROFITS, small or big. Just think about this; if you bet with only a few games but the accuracy or winning percentage of yours is high, then it's much better than betting a tons of games but you keep losing. But still, you are right, there are some method that is useful, especially using parlay and martingale.. P.S. my experience of using martingale last time on sports betting was so bad, I lost  And i have seen lot of people playing this way, i have a theory; people enjoy more the games if there is a bet on it. Yeah that's the fact, I also prefer matches that have bets. But for sports betting I agree with the opinion of @GreatArkansas where it is better to single bet because I myself do not know too much about sports games or team strength except the games and teams that I like, so I only play when my favorite team plays, it will add confidence yourself when gambling. |

Well this is the point, the child's mistake is in "using something without permission" so this should be advised, but for bets made it can depend on the circumstances or the policies of each parent. Usually most parents will not allow their children to bet, so maybe they will also advise their children not to bet again. Getting mad on just a simple thing isnt really that proper specially to a kid.

Now, once again it is a great number, giving out 7 thousand dollars is definitely amazing, but when you say "3 million doge!!" it sounds like you are giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars but lets remember doge is a very low satoshi coin and the giveaway is just 7 thousand, not 700 thousand like some people are reacting. It is amazing, but just not that amazing.
Contest prizes will always be adjusted according to the duration of the contest, the longer the contest is held, the greater the prize. And this contest only runs for one week so with a prize of 3 million doge in my opinion is very much with such a short time. This also includes the developer strategy so that the contest can run long and gradual, so just enjoy it because you can still probably be in first place in each contest. |

So it cant be called as wagering contest anymore imho since wagering contest is a contest to wager as much as possible. I understand your point to have another contest which is suitable for all players but it should not be called as wagering contest. Regarding your suggestion, how do players know that the picked number is wont be changed at the end of the contest? I do not mean to say that windice will do it, but I'm talking about the fairness of it. The picked number should be verifiable to make it fair and to avoid doubt from participants. This kind of contest is indeed good for players but it wont be as good as wagering contest for the casino unless the prize is smaller than the usual wagering contest.
Choosing a number I think is also included in a betting game, because they also bet with money to get the number chosen. And to prove whether the site is proven fair in running this kind of game, they can use blockhchain to send encrypted messages which will be opened after the contest ends. |
