13001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cost of Money Transfer to Russia, China, Uganda etc on: May 26, 2014, 01:44:42 PM
I live in China.

The cost to transfer money from the US to China is 0%. I get money out of an ATM in China using my debit card using a US bank account. No fees from both ends.

The cost to transfer money from China to the US is about 3%. I walk into a bank and purchase a demand draft denominated in USD and pay with CNY.

The question was about sending money to a person in China from your us account to his Chinese account.
Not withdrawing funds from your own cc while you're on a trip in a foreign country.

This is the original news article which triggered this thread.

Russia will not import GMO products - PM Medvedev

http://rt.com/news/russia-import-gmo-products-621/

The Americans interpreted Medvedev's statement as a boycott against the American food industry.
If Russia is serious about going organic, then i applaud this move. I would also like to see the deeds being done - i.e. reversing the legislation to ban gmo's, first and foremost and not reporting to the  gmo register. The world stands behind this move.

Americans , drinking cola , eating at mc'donalds , eating gmo , subject of "secret" cia test
Life expectancy:
35    United States   79.8

Russia , with it's organic food :
124    Russia   70

The thread was started by 247crypto (who is the opposite of pagan) just to post his links again , from which I (as a normal non-russian user of this forum ) can't understand a bit.
They are turning this forum into a mess and I really think that the spamming should end.

Less links and pictures and more discussions on the subject , if those can be held at all.
13004  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Wikipedia erase jew orgin of Poroshenko. on: May 26, 2014, 01:01:01 PM
Do you seriously trust to info from Wikipedia? IMO, it isn't real encyclopedia

The people who argue on how unreliable wikipedia is are also the people who quote it as a source of information more often.
But really , who are you going to believe , wiki , fox , rt , or the 22yo blonde single with d cups that has just added you as a friend on facebook?

13005  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sudanese Muslim woman sentenced to death for Christian conversion on: May 26, 2014, 12:57:55 PM
Actually it amazes me to see so many Muslims here, justifying this barbaric sentence. If educated Muslims act like this, then what we can expect from all those uneducated Somalis and Arabs?

If all the muslims would be "uneducated" like you've said there wouldn't be anyone doing things against their law , so this example would be void.
I guessed that by "uneducated" you meant fanatics.

Read my post again. I never sad that all the Muslims are uneducated. I was saying that highly educated Muslims are also acting like fanatics. BTW... by educated, I meant people who are capable of reading and writing English.

I never claimed that you said that.  Smiley

I said that "IF" and then I showed you what would have happen in that situation.
Also , why should English be the standard for education?

no news is........

wait little bit more need more time for process all things around

All things?
There is nothing to process , nothing has been done and there is nothing , no scratch from which to start just an entire mess and lots of bagholders clinging to straws.

You just have to do the things that were supposed to be done , and it's easy to publish a schedule for it.

Your silence and the silence in this topic tell a lot about what's not happening there.

At least yo could have quoted "the things"  that are being processed.
13007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: May 26, 2014, 12:52:22 PM
As soon as doge is the most profitable coin, it will be mined by ASIC farms and multipools and then dumped on the exchanges making it not profitable again. So I think it's about time for the DEV's to really think about capping the coin as it was introduced in the first place, maybe change the PoW algo, and hey, why not also implement PoS? Of course that would need a hard fork, but it's possible without problems.

Do not let such a great thing as doge just slowly die...

Actually doge was never capped , it was a mistake done by the dev which he realized only after a month and decided not to patch it but to go on with it , since it was a joke coin anyhow.

And there is no hardfork without problems , especially when the coin is that distributed and daily used like doge.

Ok then: http://altcoins.in/celebrity-coins/

If you think that the links are just spam why don't you report them. Mods nuke them in no time.
At least , it's better than making the mess just larger with your also.

Ps. I did read your link.
13009  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Wikipedia erase jew orgin of Poroshenko. on: May 26, 2014, 12:46:47 PM
Better to keep them separated, then they don't draw so much attention from paid trolls, like Pagan, who only target the threads with high reader counts. I have a feeling the "Meanwhile in Ukraine, the Revolution" is going to be hit by spammers soon as well.

But the discussion is no longer about that revolution, The title is misleading. Look at the last post it's about fighting in Donetsk when there is already a different thread exactly about Donetsk.

And about being paid , I already voiced my opinion on that. One of the most active members here is also paid per post , and ..nothing more.
13010  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russians boycotting US food industry. on: May 26, 2014, 12:41:01 PM
The USSR was fairly autonomous during the Cold War, except in agriculture and that was due to scale.  That still largely reigns true today but Russia's wheat import is diversified and most of it is coming from other continents.

Russia's wheat imports? Russia is a net exporter of wheat, and not an importer.

So Egypt is a top wheat importer?
The gods of Egypt and Cleopatra are rolling in their graves.

13012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sudanese Muslim woman sentenced to death for Christian conversion on: May 26, 2014, 12:36:28 PM
NONE OF THIS MATTERS.  It is not "complex".  She has not mudered anyone, she has not kidnapped anyone, she has not raped anyone.  Therefore there is no reason to put her to death.  Kick her out of your Muslim only country is the most rash thing to do.

It is as wrong to put someone to death for being a Christian as it is for being a Muslim or even a God damned atheist.

Actually it amazes me to see so many Muslims here, justifying this barbaric sentence. If educated Muslims act like this, then what we can expect from all those uneducated Somalis and Arabs?

I really think that a mod needs to step in and somehow clear this threads or join them.

We have 3 discussions about Ukraine with just the title being different whole the discussions are the same and now a thread that has gone in the same direction.
Last 4 posts had nothign to do with editing Wikipedia or this guy Proshenko and it's slowly turning into another mess.

Edit. seems like two posts have been already deleted.

I pose the same question when it comes to the death penalty that I pose to people who believe in god, what if you're wrong?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_exonerated_death_row_inmates

No, I don't believe in the death penalty, no matter the crime, I've had this argument with people before, it amazes me the lengths people will go to justify to themselves and others killing an unarmed person, it also amazes me how like the U.S Iran is but you will find all sorts of people ready to jump to the defence of the U.S when they do something wrong.

No one is sentenced to death, unless the judge is 100% sure about his crime. In the past mistakes might have happened. But with the advancement of technology, right now it is impossible to blame an innocent person for heinous crimes such as murder and rape.

Bullshit, there are people out there who genuinely believe a women can't rape a man etc. which means all humans will naturally be biased to a certain viewpoint, none of what you said is true especially since a judge is a human being and is capable of making mistakes and then there's the fact that technology can always be tampered with.

Is he paid per post? The last time I heard, he was getting paid according to the total time logged in. Looking at his artillery barrage, I have a feeling that he will be more useful in the real battle.  Grin

Says the man with 2000 posts per month with a pay per post sig.
At least we think pagan is paid per post but you and me we certainly are paid to post.

Not that I enjoy his links or 247crypto as I can't understand a word in Russian.

How can be one judge 100% sure of the verdict?
Is he god to know that everything that was said is the true and the proof have not been altered by somebody else?
As for the advancement of technology , this could be applied to the western Europe and US&CA but not for the rest of the countries.

I wonder if police officers in central Africa even take fingerprints in those cases.

heyyyy is doge dead?  Undecided

I understand that price is going down and the enthusiasm is also down but really , If doge would be dead I think that we can count with the finger of one hand the coins that are alive.

As for the mining , I doubt somebody will attack the coin. Why? There is actually no reasons and people who invest 5 million in mining gear will think twice what they have to earn and what they lose by turning their gear towards doge and fork it.

European elections results 2014: Nigel Farage's Ukip on course to top poll as Europe takes a swing to the right

Ukip likely to beat Labour to first place, with Tories dropping to third for first time ever in a national election.

Quote
Nigel Farage inflicted another body blow on the three main political parties on Sunday night as Ukip scored a stunning victory in the European Parliament elections.

The anti-EU party dramatically built on its success in the local elections in England last Thursday when the results of the Euro poll on the same day were announced. A jubilant Mr Farage hailed the outcome as “an earthquake because never before in the history of British politics has a party seen to be an insurgent party ever topped the polls in a national election.”

Across the EU, nationalist and Eurosceptic parties made big gains amid predictions that they would double their strength in the European Parliament. In France, Marine Le Pen's Front National topped a nationwide poll for the first time in its history, with the anti-immigrant party predicted to take 25 per cent of the vote and win as many as 24 seats in the European Parliament.

Ms Le Pen said France had “shouted loud and clear” that it wanted to be run “by the French, for the French and with the French” and not by “foreign commissioners” in Brussels. Manuel Valls, France’s Socialist Prime Minister, said the victory was “more than a shock, it's an earthquake”.

Isn't it ironic that the anti-eu party is running in an EU parliament election?
Reading through all the uk politicians have to say , looking at how "close" they are to Europe , I wonder , why are they still members of the EU.

I see lots of people saying that the first dev abandoned the coin and that he was a jerk... does this jerk still has some coins left , did he primed the coin on the first time?

Despite Pagan's bombardment, we will persevere Smiley

lol.... don't feel bad about him. He is just doing his job. You know, working 12 hours a day for just $200 a month is hard. And even harder if the job forces you to post on the internet forums all the day. The strain it causes to your eyes.... horrible.

Meanwhile, Italy has urged the Kiev junta to investigate Italian reporter's (Andy Rocchelli) death.

Bryant , you and me should be the last persons on this earth to say things like that.
And you know pretty well that you shouldn't accuse anyone about "paid post".
