Depends what you mean by flaw.
The flaw that gox is blaming lies in their client not in the bitcoin protocol. That's why other exchangers are now affected.
The so called bug they are referring in the protocol which is harmless unless a idiot is using bitcoin , is in all the alt coins.
So , if the guys at cryptsy are running the same software as gox while being on the same level of idiocy , a lots of the alts will share the "benefits". .

As you can see now the US / Russia / Phili are starting to have law apply on Bitcoin
How far you think bitcoin can go ? Diff are getting harder , Gorverment are giving Pressure .
And Bitcoin can actually bring chaos to the Real world economy if it grown too big .
I don't see anything bad coming from applying the laws. It will pull bitcoin out of the dark , since most people think it's computer money used to buy drugs. The difficulty has nothing to do with this. And about the Chaos thing , do you use bitcoin to buy things on SR? If so , stop. |

for those who own btc with gox, it seems like the issue is going to be the extent to which gox "re-issued" bitcoin deliveries to customers bc the recipients lied and said they had not received it. if there were many double deliveries, then gox may not have the bitcoin to pay remaining owners all the bitcoin to which they are entitled. a few issues/questions come to mind:
1. why the other exchanges are not having the same problem
2. would mtgox be able to figure out which customers claimed failed delivery but lied, and were then paid twice.
3. it seems like the gox omnibus acct should net out even at the end of the day. double deliveries would raise red flags (one would think) when all has been netted
Because other exchangers aren't being run by fairies dancing around the magical pot of bitcoins when the owner is drunk dead in the basement ? |

How 'bout the person that got some cheap btc on btc-e today. Went down to $102 for a minute. Not sure how big the orderbook on btc-e is (or was) but it must have been a lot of coins! it will be below 100 usd, very quickly You missed the train , or the dump. You won't be seeing under 100$ unless there is another idiot who panic sells without even checking. |

but if some one give 10 to 12 hours daily and try to post 150 daily then may be possible If he is putting in 10 hours a day. This is a waste of time. He makes 0.8 which is 550 at current prices. 10 hours a day is 300 hours a month. This means he earns $1.83/hr. Pretty dumb 'job' choice. He could be making 5x that amount doing an unskilled job. Quite pathetic on Stunnas behalf for such low pays. 0.8 of 550 is 440 not 300. Not even considering how did you end up with a 550 price , you should redo your maths. |

I'm just wondering if the one who sold 8.5k BTC with a market order on BTC-E taking the price down to $102 is a mentally challenged trader who went full retard or just a poor guy who got his account hacked. People need to learn from this and get their money and coins out ASAP and take their custom elsewhere. Good luck hoping for that. People tend to not learn form the first mistake , and when being lured by high prices they seem to forget everything. They don't need just to be burned but also grilled , deep fried and iced before they learn a lesson and not use gox again |

Not a Ponzi scheme. They just played and lost everyone's BTC and USD (although I am sure they intended to play and win), so they had to replace them with Goxcoin and Goxbux....... .......and now they can't pay everyone back. Perhaps if the price can be crashed to $100 or something, Mr Karpeles can get back the BTC that he needs to level with Gox's customer base and make some profit for all his great efforts, and then everyone will be happy, right? They sound like a bank. What did they actually do with the money? What almost every people who have suddenly found themselves immersed in cash do. Spend it around like morons. (one possibility). |

I think Doge will be the next 3rd largest Crypto after #BTC & #LTC soon within 2014 its price will touch $1. A coming inflation is reduce its value for a certain period but Doge will survive with its all strength of good community.
If prices touch 1$ per doge , it will be 5 times bigger than Bitcoin , so either drop the 3rd coin prediction or redo your computations . |
