I'm happy that he ain't gonna spend the rest of the year reflecting on what he had done in the past when he almost have the shot on undisputed title with Inoue. This is much better for him rather than forcing himself to shrink at a certain weight needed that he'll surely struggle. In this weight class, I hope have no issues because he needed to climb through the ranks if he still want to be a belt holder.
Should be no problem now on this weight division but hopefully, that gastritis won't ruin the fun here. That medical condition is unpredictable and Casimero can be hit with that anytime. But this time I think they are more prepared and during the time when they are almost close fighting against Paul Butler, he seems healthy at that point. Casimero has no room for losing this match. If he loses here, I think it's better to just retire or people should not expect to him anymore. He will not lose if he is healthy, prior to his disqualification in the Butler's match, we were expecting that he will win, in fact, he was the heavy favorite to win but unfortunate things happened and he was stripped of his belt. Now, he is coming back, and though it's not a big fight it's already good for a start, so I'm very optimistic that he will win here and he will start building his name again, that hype has to grow for him to have a big fight again. I agree, he will not lose on this one as he is determined more than ever to show to the fans that Quadro Alas is one of the faces of Philippine boxing. Getting the weight is expected to be not a problem anymore so all he has to do now is train hard and be focused on the fight and don't think of the future fight with Inoue, one fight at a time. Odds are not released yet but for sure Casimero would be the heavy favorite to win this one, I just hope that ring rust won't be an issue here as he is out of the ring for more than a year I think. |

TNT has been winning double digits before they lose to NLEX, so most likely they will again bounce back with a double-digit win.

That's a nail-biting win if you have taken that option for TNT as they only led by 10. It's very close all through out the game, good thing that they pulled away in the fourth quarter but i have not bet on that game because i'm hesitant of the spread because Blackwater Bossing is not a push-over team this conference for me. Betting for the Meralco Bolts -2.5 @1.8 in the second game, hope they win and cover this not so wide spread. edit: ROS leading by 7 points at the half, seems my bet is on the way to losing here  . |

It is hard to tell who speak the truth because when Team Crawford was asked about that, they say that it was the team of Spence who avoid the fight while if we asked Team Spence, they say it was Crawford who avoided them lol. I have recently read an article and it seems to me that Errol Spence might be the one delaying/avoiding this biggest fight in the 147lbs to happen because he might be having some problems in this weight category for now. This David Avanesyan has a power I checked Youtube for any information about this guy and this video is very interesting The BRUTAL POWER of David Avanesyan although impressive but against a fighter like Crawford who is fast with a good technical skills I doubt if he can hit Crawford with his so-called power, there's no big name on his list but he is the European welterweight Champion, but his power is not enough to beat Crawford. If this fight with Avanesyan pushes through then they will have a common opponent which is Kavaliauskas who defeated Avanesyan via TKO so i think this is an easy fight for Terrence Crawford because he KOed Kavaliauskas who KOed Avanesyan  . Bottomline, no matter how powerful Avenesyan is, he is not on the level of Crawford and for me this is just "to keep busy" fight for Crawford while ironing things out for the Spence fight next year but nevertheless it is a cherry-picked opponent. |

I am surprised no one is talking about this here yet, I guess it's probably because no one really knows who DK Yoo is(even I don't know who he is).
I saw the announcement for this fight in my social media newsfeed but don't bother to create a thread on this forum as I'm not a fan of exhibition matches because most of the bookies won't cover exhibition fights but on the side, it will also be good to see Manny back in the ring again to see if where he is at now in terms of speed and power or can he knock out his opponent. For sure DK Yoo's (don't know him also) popularity will skyrocket by just facing Manny and also his followers will increase depending on the outcome of this fight. |

Casimero was barred by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) from fighting after he broke the boxing body's rule of using saunas before a fight to cut down on weight. So this is a violation I guess but this is probably common practice for boxers who just want to achieve the weight fast. If it were imposed on all, every champ may just be stripped of thier belts. Anyway, seem Inoue and Casimero are meant to meet above after all. That maybe WBO's revenge to Casimero in the Dubai incident. Yeah, all boxing champs could be stripped of their belt if they strictly impose these rules but the thing with Casimero is that he showed this sauna thing in his youtube vlog, more people have seen so that might be the trigger for BBBofC to investigate, and disqualify him to fight for the belt. Adding a poll to this fight to see who is more popular between the two but I guess Quadro Alas will be the runaway winner on this poll as many users here are his fans. |

Finally it's been officially announced that Johnriel Casimero's comeback fight vs Akaho will be this coming December 3 at the Paradise City in Incheon South Korea as what Akaho's promoter announced. TBH, with Casimero in the mix on the Philippine boxing is an exciting one because of his personality or how he handles himself going into a fight. They already made the right adjustment, what do you think would happen if they'll ever face Ginebra again? would you still bet on Ginebra to win? SMB is missing Fajardo, so they can make an excuse for their big loss. I know the Dragons are for real, but so far they only beat a good team that is undermanned.
If i were to answer this question then it depends on what will be the spread/handicap because Ginebra has beaten them then i think the bookies will not put a wide margin for the Dragons I supposed then it would be good to bet for the Dragons because like you said they already adjusted and for sure Justin Brownlee is a marked guy for the Dragons. Will they meet again? Sorry for asking but I don't know if the guest team is qualified to be the champion at this conference. |

Haney was smart because he made the right adjustment, but when Haney adjusted, Kambosos should also counter it, but it didn't happen, he stick with his strategy despite the fact that Haney had already read it, Kambosos was lucky that Haney is not a KO artist, if he was, that fight would certainly end in KO.
I think the outcome would be different if Haney is a knock-out artist as he will be the aggressor and prone to Kambosos' counters just like what happened to Teofimo Lopez. Haney's style has brought him this far and the only downside of his style is how to draw a large crowd to watch his fights because, to be honest most of the fans are not excited to watch his fights. |

Bay Area Dragons 1.38, SMB Beermen 2.90^^ ML odds at the moment but i don't think there will be changes minutes before the game. Fajardo won't be playing because of the surgery to his throat and per report he gonna missed a few games, so I think if will be a tough hill to climb for the Beermen considering that the Dragons will go out strong and prove to the PBA fans that they are for real.  Though I'm a fan of the Beermen but will put my money on the Dragons on this game because i think that Diamond won't be enough to beat the Dragons. Good luck mate, but as of the moment SMB is leading the game, well, you have a point, without Fajardo I think SMB would be a problem, so taking the Bay Area Dragons is a good choice. Maybe I'll just observe a bit, will just put a bet once I'm comfortable with the odds and the spread, watching now. Dragons up by 18 big points after 24 minutes of play with Nicholson doing his usual thing and leading the Dragons with his 25 points after two quarters while Stone has yet to break into the double digit offensive output with 9 points. Like i have said the Beermen will struggle getting the points of their outside shots won't fall, no go to guy if they need a sure two points as Fajardo is not around. I won't bet anymore in this game as i'm good with my pre-game bet and i think i have a more than 60 percent to win this ticket. Dragons 1.06 Beermen 7.75, ML odds as of halftime while those who want to bet for SMB with a handicap can choose the option SMB +14.5 @1.75 which for me is very risky considering they don't have their MVP. |

Another dominant performance by Haney for a repeat win over Kambosos. In fairness to the Australian fighter, he performed very well but Haney was just too much for him, i mean he just can't hit the champion clean that could slowed him down. it may be boring if haney will just follow the mayweather's strategy. but if it will work to his advantage, he may really won't go toe-to-toe. this is why he may win via UD. but as most boxing fans, we want a toe-to-toe fight to see who is indeed deserving with those belts. but with those belts on the line, i believe, he will be more careful inside the ring. and just calculate the points to get ahead of this fight.
but if you think kambosos has a chance on this match, he is currently at 7.2x at stake. who knows?
Haney's defensive style has brought him to where he is at the moment and i don't think that he will change that especially that he now has the belt and a chance to fight Loma. Like I've said, this fight would be the defining moment for his career and if he can defeat Loma, he may earn that respect from the boxing community for having a defensive style that is in contrast to what most boxing fans want.  |

Looks like we will be having an upset on tonight's game between the Meralco Bolts and Converge Fiberxers.
The score at the half is 48-68 with the Fiberxers leading and at the moment the ML odds for Meralco Bolts is @8.0.

Yes, saw the PBA post at half-time where surprisingly Converge has a 20-point lead over the favorite Meralco. Actually, I'm not surprised if Converge has the lead at halftime but 20-points is really surprising knowing Meralco is one of the tough teams in the league. But things changed in the 3rd quarter as Meralco cut downs the lead to at least 3 points 77-74 with 28 points scoring at Meralco over 8 points at Converge with 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd. The 3rd quarter finished with 87-82 Converge. What a run by Meralco. Nice timing on that +13.5 Meralco. It has a chance. Nice timing indeed, now the Meralco is leading by a point in the fourth quarter with 6 minutes to go. Too bad that i have not bet on that ML for Meralco at halftime, could have been a few dollars richer if I'm brave enough to take that one hehe. edit: Converge did upset Meralco but my first half bet for Meralco +13.5 won .  |
