1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 02, 2018, 11:50:40 AM
We will see Arsenal taking on Cardiff today, In the past, I would usually have a lot of confidence to place my bet on Arsenal to win the match in full time against Cardiff, but it seems that the new manager Unai Emery still have not been able to find a suitable formation that suits the Arsenal players yet, the defense of Arsenal is still having a lot of weakness for their opponents to exploit, and Cardiff would definitely be hoping to get some points from this match today.

In such situation, I prefer to wait for the Arsenal performance during the first 15 minutes and if Arsenal able to show us the expected performance then I will start to find out the good odds in live-match betting. Same as you, I still have a doubt with Arsenal performance.

1325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there an App for price alerts, that makes noise when they trigger (an alarm) on: August 30, 2018, 08:17:30 PM
Hi there,
I'm currently spending way too much time either looking at charts or checking my phone to see if a price alert has been triggered on the crypto app i have installed.
Looking at LCD screens all day is really bad for your posture, it's not a good habit.

So I'd much rather have something that makes noise.
This way, instead of checking my phone every ten minutes i could just wait for a 'Ding' and then i check my phone to see what's up and if i need to do anything regarding buying or selling. I know stop-limits are a good way around micro-managing things... but it'd be nice to have a free service to give you a heads up when things are on the move.

Know any apps for android phones that make noise when price alerts are triggered?
Thanks,

There are several applications for android phones that you can use to achieve your goal. But I advise you to use blockfolio because this application is free and easy to use. You can set an alert according to your taste.

You can download it here :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blockfolio.blockfolio&hl=en_US

Bitsler is scam, beware
~snip~

From the image above, at least we know that the user acknowledges that he has broken the rules. So there is nothing to worry about from this scam accusation.
1327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2018, 05:10:40 PM
I don't think there are any limits for those who want to start their investments. Everybody makes it on his own. I would say that you need to invest only the amount you can afford to lose.

The amount of money you are going to invest in Bitcoin does not play any role. Nevertheless, if you spend a lot, you can count on the better returns. The newbie can start even with a hundred.

It is depends ,if you invest a lot at lowest price you will get huge profit but if you invest at all time high for sure you will lost big amount so time is important when you invest your money.

The amount invested depends on finances and the courage to take the risk of each individual. For people who bravery enough, they can invest large amounts of money and of course the risk will be even greater. The more the risks, the more profits we can get! And yes, sometimes an investment will get profit in a short time and at the other time we have to wait longer to get it.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting on: August 30, 2018, 10:45:17 AM
As they say, always bet against the public, sometimes it work but you cannot use this strategy all the time as you will still loss  in the long run.
Thats not always true. What will be the outcome of the game can be predicted by analysis but in the end it will only depend on your luck.
Betting against the public does not mean you will win every time but you have a big chance to win especially if you are not greedy
and you know how to do the proper bankroll management. I use this strategy before but since I am not a heavy gambler, I still seek for the enjoyment
and using this method does not give any excitement anymore as you cannot use your analysis.

Sure we can't always win with any strategies we have. But it seems make sense to bet against the public since we know that in the long run most gamblers will have bad portfolio. I didn't try it yet but it gives me an inspiration.
1329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a profit with the dump of the price in the market? on: August 29, 2018, 06:12:35 PM
Hi I just want to ask how can I make a profit with the dump price in the market I want to trade my token right now but the price is dump and I need to trade my token so that I can withdraw my token and I need a money right now for my daily expenses. Can someone give me an advice?

If you need money right now then you have to sell your tokens immediately and don't need to wait for someone else's advice. All you need to think about is how many tokens you have to sell to meet your needs. And if there are still leftovers, use it for future trade. Why thinking about profit when your daily expenses waiting for you?
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: August 29, 2018, 04:12:45 PM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??

Before the government does that, they will certainly give an announcement so that all people who have crypto currencies will immediately convert it to fiat. And if all countries treat the same thing then the crypto currency will disappear by itself. But believe me, that the government will not take unilateral actions by not giving advance warnings.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: August 29, 2018, 03:21:25 PM
You are very rich if you can make that gambling as your daily activities to entertain yourself, it's too expensive IMO.

It depends on the person how much is he betting or how much money is he using to gamble. I am always gambling but in my case, I am just using the free BTCs I can get from faucets of a gambling site. It may be little but at that way, I can bet how much I want and you can just imagine how small that amount it.

With that, I also grew being tired of it though I still do it anyway since it is like a habit of mine. I am not addicted, it's just a way of relaxing and entertaining myself after loads and tons of work.
Well that means you are gambling only just for fun because you only use faucet money and not deposit your own money for gambling which is good, so you don't need to care about losing or winning.

I can even say that playing using faucet is not even gambling because you do not take any risks by using faucet. Gambling in general should have a risk factor of losing our own money in order to win something. If you only use faucet all the time without making any deposits, then you are not a gambler. I dont know what is the right words to describe, but you are playing only. Not gambling obviously.

We call people who only use the faucet to play on gambling sites without making deposits as abusers. And at this time, such activities will no longer be accepted. Most gambling sites will halt users from withdrawing money generated from such activities.
1332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year on: August 29, 2018, 10:15:22 AM
I don't see any improvements will happen in this year because the price will not reach $50k, maybe it will take another year to reach $50k. But surely one day the price of bitcoin will surely cross more than $50k.

There is no sign for that and it will be impossible to reach $ 50k in the next year. The number of rejection is still high and it is really a sign for us that our dream won't come true soon or later.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 29, 2018, 05:46:08 AM
That's a pity and sorry for that, cryptocurrency investment is very risk and people needs to understand the risk on it before investing.
yeah sure. I fully understood the risks before i invested in it. But i never expected it to be so much of a risk.

Something that is beyond our expectation may occur and it will not be so rare in this type of investment. The risk is too high and inevitably we have to accept the harsh reality. Try to forget the bitterness and keep trying to get the best.
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why martingale is PURE SHIT. on: August 28, 2018, 06:08:08 PM

With this post, I want to point out and emphasize why it is a pointless strategy: using martingale, you constantly increase your risk to earn proportionally less.
You cant stopped those person who do keep on telling or saying that martingale works its either someone do told them about martingale or do able to discover by himself. They dont realize it on early times since they are just starting up to prove out something specially when they are lucky. They do make profits out of that strategy but sooner or later when martingale bust out for sure they would curse that strategy since we know martingale can wipe out your entire balance on an autobet almost instant.

It is not just martingale that will fail if we keep using it for a long time. Any strategies that exist on gambling will face the same problem as well. Luck won't happen all the time. It will leave us at anytime.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: August 28, 2018, 05:03:35 PM
How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ?
and which sites did you play ?

start with me.. summing up all the wins/lose i did together.
and i lost about $1500 on rollin.io

what about you ?
I have played a lot on many gambling websites and I have never calculated expenses and income. If I count I will play full of burden, so it would be better not to count it so that when playing is not full of pressure and to be able to play comfortably.

Same as me, I didn't count how many losses I suffered during gambling activities. As long as I am still there and this activity has no adverse effects in my life, I will continue to do it. Gambling is not the only thing I do btw, so I'm not addicted to it.
1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Do People Dump Their Precious Tokens With Ridiculous Low Price on: August 28, 2018, 11:06:30 AM
As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?

Fear is one thing that usually makes people to change their decisions by cutting the loss or dump their coins/tokens. Afraid that the price will actually go down even deeper if they keep holding it is normal. Emotions can change everything including plans that have been carefully made.
1337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon we would not need banks on: August 28, 2018, 09:00:41 AM
The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.

The facts that occur in the field say another. Acceptance of crypto currency as a payment tool is still a difficult obstacle to solve. So in my opinion such statement is just a bluff.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember your first sports bet? on: August 27, 2018, 04:09:57 PM
The first sports betting I've ever made has been happening long time ago and I don't remember exactly when it was. It's at a soccer match and the cause was a friend's persuasion. From there I was addicted to betting regularly. And at the end, I stucked at a bad situation. What a bitter experience!
1339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SAFE TRADING METHOD on: August 27, 2018, 09:45:34 AM
I think the most secure trading is to use some money from trading capital and use money that will not be in use for the near future,
for example I have $ 1000 and I need to use the money for my family's living needs, then I can use $ 250 for trading and the rest to survive, do you mean from this revelation?
this method is used so that you are not too depressed if the money you have stuck in the expensive price.

By using the money that we can leave it for a long time, the pressure on our mind will be less and therefore we can stay calm in the bearish trend. The current situation is a test for the coin holder. The possibility to cut the loss is huge.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: August 27, 2018, 07:01:45 AM
To me online gambling doesn't have disadvantages at all. As an except can be counted only a bad gambling site choice, you know, there are such sites to which you can't trust and on which you will never win. Besides that I do not know any other disadvantages of online gambling. But I prefer both types of gambling in the case of poker game with friends and online poker when I have more than enough of free time.

With online gambling we can be addicted fastly compared to the traditional one since we are able to play it at any time at any places as long as there is internet connections. That is the other disadvantage from online gambling among the other impositions.
