I use low fees if I'm just putting away some bitcoins into cold storage or transferring to other wallets. By low I mean 100-200 Satoshis/byte, never under 100. They usually confirm within 24h so I suppose I could go lower if I wanted to but waiting weeks seems silly.

Used Western Union 5 times now from 2012, all were situations it was necessary to send an out-of-country payment and the local banks aren't good in my country, anyway these times the process although worked but was always difficult, and the fees they took was big.
Now after using btc for around 5 months, i know how much better btc was compared to western union.

Completely agree. They are just trying to blame bitcoin because it is a technology they still don't understand and don't know how to cope with it. I disagree even though I love bitcoin. Bitcoin is definitely going to offer new incentive for people to start selling illegal things because it is way cheaper now and more secure for them to transact with bitcoin. This was something that can't be done before. And they know that their savings in bitcoins are safe as opposed to liberty reserve because it can't just get seized by a government like LR. Bitcoin has its advantages and disadvantages, fueling the criminal economy is one disadvantage. But it's no different to cash, so it's really no use blaming bitcoin for it. Many of these exchanges are charging very high fees for outgoing transactions compared to the blockchain. I didn't use coinbase for many days already but I'm using xapo for the last couple of years and recently they started to charge an outgoing fee which is very high compared to blockchain. So I have stopped using exchanges to send money. Generally, fees are high and we can't do much on it unless you use other altcoins for transactions.

Bitcoin fees have become too big now for day to day smaller transactions. I paid over ten dollars for a five hundred dollar value transaction and it took also twnety four hours plus to get through to the other side. So Bitcoin is only best used for bigger transactions in my view that is.

HOW do we learn more about BTC in Korea? I have not found a decent link that gives Korea & BTC info.
I offered to pay $130 to one of our Korean bearing suppliers for samples & catalogs by BTC (yes they charged me for samples). NO, only a wire transfer. $40 for that $130 when I was down there in Peru. So not even the ONE commercial guy who I have mentioned BTC to was interested.
Seems to me also that we haven't heard any news from South Korea but from the last time I checked trading volumes, South Koreans has huge volumes. I'm also not aware that bitcoin has been legal or been embrace by the government.
