1341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin possibly hit usd10,000 by end of year? on: October 27, 2017, 11:36:30 PM
Bitcoins price has hit really high recently. I don't think it will go much higher for awhile. It would be asking too much. I do think Bitcoin will maybe hit $10000 by 1Q 2018 by the end if 1Q surely. It should be stable for quite sometime now.

Am I being overly optimistic? The trajectory is looking very real!
I think reaching a market value of 10000$ within two months or specifically before this year end is quite impossible. Indeed, there's an incoming hardfork and if it will succeed just like the last time, it would definitelh make the market value of Bitcoin to go skyrocket or be more expensive. But still with its price of 6000$ at yhis moment, 4000$ of increase would be difficult to be achived in just a short period of time. Maybe next yesr, it would be.

I think we will be seeing it hanging around $6500 for awhile. Should remain stable before the next climb. Wait for some new adopters to come along.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: October 27, 2017, 07:33:50 PM
The fees currently which are around $0.7 or so is really high but only for smaller transactions, for +$100 and more paying $1 USD isn't extremely excessive or unheard of, I agree this limits BTC as a currency for micro transactions and live expenses payment.
This will probably be solved soon, I am not with making a fundamental change in bitcoin, but just a solution that will lower the stress in the network, I still want bitcoin to be bitcoin.
You are wrong friend. I wanted to sell around 45 dollar worth of bitcoin yesterday, and recommended transaction fee was 1 dollar for 80 sat/B if i am not mistaken. And they said it will take 1+ hours. It took around 12h for my transaction to be confirmed... Other time before that i paid 3 dollars for 90 dollars worth of bitcoins, and it took around 6 hours to transfer. Price is too high for speed they offer. It is simple as that.

I agree the price is higher than and it use to be one if the things people like to show off about bitcoin. They went on about how it was free to make transactions. Now it's so costly. It's still better then credit cards and banks so the extra amount is ok. Paying for something with Bitcoin online can be quite annoying since they only leave a 15 minute window to pay in.
1343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: October 26, 2017, 07:57:25 PM
Bitcoin can overcome Paypal, but not now nor in the near future, it will take some long time, maybe several years. Actually a lot of people prefer using Bitcoin as a payment method instead Paypal, but the majority steak with Paypal nowadays.

I think it already has. People need to get with the times and climb on board the Bitcoin train. PayPal was cool in 2000 but not any more. It's just crap and they need to know too much about you. I never liked that. Now I can just buy whatever I want and I don't have to be put through this huge big ordeal just to spend my own money and with ease. Bitcoin is so simply to setup and use and it is so safe. These are my main reasons for saying Bitcoin has already overcome PayPal bit to mention it's a create investment and it's on currency. PayPal is not a currency.
1344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or BCC or BTG on: October 26, 2017, 07:46:59 PM
I like the sound of BTC gold because you can use a gpu to the it so it will be in league with eth that's what I am expecting from it. I will hodl my free bitcoin gold. I will even nine more gold. Haha it's nice it's called gold.

1- it's not about needing BTC versions , but this is the market , you find originals and junks
2- Both BTG and BCC aren't versions but they're altcoins trying to get pump by taking BTC name
3- there's not just these coins , there will be more ( after each fork , a new coin is released such as B2X)

I think it's a very clever and unique way to introduce a new coin. Nice to get your own distribution without having to ask for it. It's just automatic.
how to get the bitcoin gold (BTG) we need to put some bitcoin or bitcoin cash in wallet private or can be put in exchange wallet.

No it's too late now you had to already have it in your wallet or on supported exchanges.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: October 26, 2017, 07:07:01 PM
This could have happened and was the case s few weeks ago with all the china drama. It would have been a great profit if you put enough in. I invested in some bitcoin when it was low as $2000 and sold some a little while ago and important the rest.

Fuck.

I wish I bought 100 from 2.500$.

And why am I not buying 50 from 6k$? Only god knows. :d

Feelsbadman

Hahahaha we all do. It's easy to say now looking back but none of us knew then. Some just thought it was a cool experiment and never imagined it would get so big. Those are the lucky few who have got bitcoin from the start.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Game Bankroll Question on: October 25, 2017, 11:55:12 PM
Maybe you should open up your website to investors and the offer them 50% profit shares. Then you don't even have to wrry about a bankroll. The size of the bank roll is up to you but use a formular to let the players know what the max bet is. Just be honest and open and let your users know about the situation. After the first few weeks or months it should get much easier as the bankroll increases.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: October 25, 2017, 11:43:05 PM
Lost about more than 17 btc in total since I started gambling.  But there were a few times when I made a handsome amount of money from just a couple of 100k Satoshi.

17 BTC is a very big amount for the current market price and many people this amount is very huge. Winning in gambling happens occasionally but losing happens most of the times so we shouldn't gamble only to make money from it and also if you gamble only for fun 17 BTC is a huge amount to lose and we should put some limits to spend on these games.

You damn right it is a lot of money. 17 bitcoins is a life changing amount in the right hands. You could use that to become rich for sure. Even just hodl those bitcoins. I feel bad for the person bit ultimately it was their choice. If they had won 100btc with 17btc they wouldn't be so sad so it could work both ways.

How much did you make with your 100k ?
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: October 25, 2017, 07:46:17 PM
Cryptocurrency puts the power of banking in your hands instead of in the banks. This means we directly benefit from it with the investment.  Usually the bank would keep this from us and make their own money with it. This is being decentralized and being used and available to anyone who uses cryptocurrency. This is why they fear it. The profits are at stake. A new contender has arrived and is better then the banks.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold future on: October 25, 2017, 07:42:53 PM
I'm glad and very excited about BTC gold. I love that it is GPU now mining can be Decentralized once more. Now everyone has access all you need is a decent GPU. I hope that this gives Eth a good run for it's money. I hope to see many people mine it as I do. I'm going to mine it as soon as I can get my wallet up and a pool. I'm sure I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting the pools and wallet. Noone yet is mining so everyone is pointing their hash power steering it, get ready for the explosion.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: October 25, 2017, 05:11:50 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

Yes of course. Analysis is needed for you to formulate strategies depending on the situation. Gambling is so crucial that you need to be careful in choosing and deciding on where to bet..etc.

Umm no... There is nothing to analyze. Formulate strategies? What are you talking about? How would you do that? Where would you begin? You just playing a game in your own mind to entertain yourself into thinking you can increase your odds of winning. It's like a hobby or something for some people to try "strategies". For some people this is fun and that is fine they must carry on but it still doesn't make it felt it is just s fantasy. Where to bet is important. It reduced your chances of losing if you have a low house edge website with 1% esspecially if it also has a rake back feature like Yolodice does.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I try to win back my loss? on: October 25, 2017, 05:05:24 PM
The game finished 3:0
I won

To sum up the thread
I won back my loss

http://prntscr.com/h0knoa
http://prntscr.com/h0kmme

Also, on a further note
I'll never play martingale again  Cheesy

Man....that wasn't smart.  I'm glad it worked out for you, but it would have been a gut shot if you'd have lost ---> it would've hurt.  Advice for the future: set limits!  Do some research on bankroll management schemes, like the Kelly (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelly_criterion), and find one you can apply stubbornly.
really doubt to those people who have done martingale betting strategy to not do it again in the next days you gamble , sometimes it will cross to your mind that doing martingale could be a good idea to double your money , it will always hook you.

even with bankroll management , to make every single gambling session you start in the long run become profitable in green it is like mission impossible.

I think gambling is just there for the rush and fun of it. I think most know they will lose money but they still do it because they know if they make sure big win they can just stop. Most people don't make that big win and the thing is do they stop when they get it? So it depends how far you want to chase your luck? Work hard for money or try be lucky and test lady luck to see if she favours you. If you win you won't wish you were back you would be glad you took the risk. If you wish you never took the risk it's only because you have lost. You can choose to keeping going and try push your luck more or stop and cut your loses.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why YOU should really care about Provably Fair... on: October 25, 2017, 04:59:38 PM
In many instances people have posted "Provably Fair" on their site and they have no " Provably Fair" system in place. Your average gambler will never investigate further and they will just accept that the site is " Provably Fair ". I hope the more technical inclined gamblers will fill that loophole and test and educate the people who has no clue how this system is supposed to function.

I also hear people can implement systems that looks " Provably Fair ", but once it is tested it turns out that it is rigged. Is this true?
I dont know if someone would decide to put their time or efforts on educating most of the gamblers on how they should verify if a site is provably fair knowing that not all gamblers are tech savvy which they would really have a hard time on realizing on what are the things being mentioned on here about provably fair this is why they dont really care at all as long they would able to see that there are lots of people do play on the site which they can assume that the site is provably fair.

After trying many gambling sites, for me, i don't really deposit big amounts on gambling sites because i do not expect to earn on those. I just deposit to see how and what are the games their. The only gambling that i actually had withdrawal was yobit.net  but that was a long time ago. I do have some withdrawal from gambling sites but the amount is not as high as how much i had in yobit.

You might be get hacked also dude. What have done is perfect to save your bitcoin as well as to utilize the bitcoin in gambling. Still now bitcoin dice roll is working in Yobit site. When the bitcoin value was around 400$ I use to roll for 0.002 BTC for every roll but now value turns to 4k and even more. Yobit mostly operates as a trading platform only.
I didnt even try to play at yobit but basing on the players feedbacks that i did able to read back in the past their dice site isnt really fair at all.I dont know if its true or not but presuming on their reputation when it comes on exchange matter they do really have a bad reputation and i didnt even tried out to use the site either on exchange or gambling.

I don't know if Yobit is fair. Do they have anyway to prove that they are fair? I don't think so. Still many many people play there and it is always busy. The house edge there is very high most people will say and agree. I think so too because you can feel it. I don't like how Yobit defaults the dice to 0.01 and they put that right by the chat so they hoping you play by mistake. Rather play dice on a proper dice site with probably fair and actual support since Yobit don't provide much support staff all. Also the house edge is much lower. Only 1%
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: October 25, 2017, 04:45:46 PM
Fishy though, if someone is winning consistently in a site, then there should be an investigation on how that guy  is winning so much. There might be a problem with one of the games and that guy was able to exploit the bug. However, if it is all legit, we can't do anything about it. I would say that usually there is that guy that wins a lot but he gets greedy and he losses everything in the end.

I don't think the problem is someone winning too much at the site. This was done through an ICO and the investment is in BitDice tokens listed on the HitBTC Exchange. It's probably related more to the timing of buying them and bounty hunters selling the price down.

It doesn't matter if we are winning because there is a bug or there is none, if there is a bug existed then it is not our fault, it is theirs, besides we couldn't know that there is a bug just because we are winning in gambling, it is not enough sign for someone to know such situation, also the gambling site will find it out in no time because they could see it on their history, for example if someone is winning a lots of money in their site in a row without any single lose.

I don't think it is a problem if someone wins a lot and it is like you said when you win a lot like that it is best to stop or at least take half then continue with the other half. If it happens again you just lucky. If you continue you will lose. Some people are clever enough to know when they have won enough for their needs and they stop. Others can't stop and carry on untill they lose. Investigating when players win seems very underhanded.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 22, 2017, 08:28:04 PM
i think as long as we can considering to playing gambling to having fun with our friends and we are enjoy the games, its not wrong to us and of course we should realize that we don't have to spend much money. but for some people, although they realize this, they still keep playing gambling without stop for a while when they loss and they are risk their money to trying to get win. for the other people, they thinking that gambling is wrong because they can ruin their life and they will come back to home with empty pocket.
Exactly those who spoil their life in gambling for them gambling is wrong. We will see this kind of gamblers a lot in the gambling world. And also there are many gamblers play gambling just to have some fun and time pass. For what purpose we use gambling will tell gambling is wrong or not.

It is all in perspective so it depends apon who you ask. For some people it is wrong for other it is not by default. Then as you say others are swayed by previous experience and emotions. People like to look at the worst of every situation though it's human nature to do so.

If gambling is for fun and entertainment purpose then there is nothing wrong in gambling with a small amount but if you are addicted to gambling and depending only on it for living then only god can help your as in long run you will surely loose everything that you have and one day you will be begging on the streets for a piece of bread.

Only when you start skipping work and meeting with Important people or gong on outings it becomes a problem. When you spend time gambling instead of first doing your responsibilities that is the problem. If you can handle that then it is fine.

Sometimes people just want something to boame instead of themselves to feel better I guess.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: October 22, 2017, 03:12:07 PM
Gambling is a type if game and games should always be okayed for fun unless you very good at then and can profit like for example poker. Other then that you should just stick to a certain amount and wage that amount an accept your results then decide if you want to risk making the kisses back or further increase any wins. Rather then focus on profit focus on weither or bit you still plan to pay for that day. Keep a certain amount set aside from your gambling hbby and never go more then that it you could find yourself in grave trouble. So long as you remember to keep to a limit you can sustain you should never have problems gambling. If you cannot do that then perhaps try another hobby or invest in the casino.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is betcoin.ag a scam? what do you think? on: October 22, 2017, 03:04:15 PM
They are legit it was just that once off win of that 500btc that screwed them. Swissdice or whoever it is should have said it us not betcoin. Neither did though. Look they don't purposely rip you off and they didn't think very much before running that one promo that is while since then they have been doing well and not having troubles either their promo. We all make mistakes but betcoin should have chosen to hold swissdice accountable.

If you want a site to give a go and see he you like it pleased try Yolodice you won't be disopointed and if you see please tell me why and we will fix it!! This is the car Yolodice takes to keep it's players!
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: October 22, 2017, 02:58:25 PM
What you described is known as chasing. Many people will tell you not to do it in case you chase and end u worse off but I say if you can afford to go for it then you must. Your odds will not change if you carry on or if you stop. When you resume the odds do not pause or stop. The next roll is just as likely to win or lose as the last even if you want or lost 29x in a row there is still the same odds for the next roll. This cannot be changed and is just gamblers fallacy. If you can afford it I say go for it!! Good luck!!
1358  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCHEAT.COM IS ONLY A HOAX? on: October 22, 2017, 01:59:03 PM
Are you people cazy? Are you wanting to lose your money? It even has cheat in the name and you wonder if it's legit? What in the god given world possessed you to okay there? Play at Yolodice. A legit dice site with a wonderful faucet. Don't trust such fllth like this. Only trust sites that have been around a good while with a good record. Yolodice also has a great community and is a great place to make friends with fellow gambling ethiesists.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $123 for few minutes on: October 22, 2017, 09:59:59 AM
There is better strategy, the strategy is to just go for it and see what happens. Noone ever knows. It's nothing more then that. Nothing to analyze. Also why does it matter he long it takes? You can make a millionaire $$$ in one coin flip that takes seconds to finish. Time means nothing when you gamble. You can only break down your time spent by breaking down your bets so they take longer.

Nice win anyway. What will you do with the profits? ^^
1360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Platform to trade BTC to USD? on: October 22, 2017, 09:35:51 AM
Localbitcoins does this. You may exchange your btc for your local currency. They work gery well and are safe. I highly recommend. Just as always be careful and use your head. Also make sure to backup your bitcoin wallets properly in more then one place with digitally and physically and please use F2A online where you can. Keep your password and username and email written down and keep it somewhere safe at all times.
