Why not have it so users at a certain post count have a higher limit? I'd hate to think of a newbie sending 100 PMs an hour.
If you have >1000 posts, 100 PMs an hour is reasonable.

Bitcoins are like bitcoins.

If there were a way to convert the mass of a human into energy, the word "suicide bomber" would get a whole new meaning. It would be on the order of all nuclear bomb tests in history combined.
We are all nuclear bombs?

The more illegal they try and make it, the more people will use it.

Satoshi's a patient guy.
Satoshi's dead. There is no other explanation. Why else would he disappear so suddenly, and without saying fair well to the community. It was a sudden death like being hit by a bus, or drowning, or a heart attack. If it was cancer or something that takes its time, he would have told us, and he would have transferred his coin to a successor. RIP Satoshi Nakamoto ?? - 2011 Interesting theory...did no one really know _anything_ about him? Surely someone knew something...if no one really knew anything, then I doubt he's dead...he was always planning to disappear. I think the theory that satoshi felt violated by Gavin going to the CIA only a week or so after satoshi gave him the bitcoin "master key" makes the most sense. http://forums.microcash.org/topic/529-did-gavin-andresen-push-satoshi-out-of-bitcoin/

Is it just me, or do most of the pages listed not care about paying out anything anymore. At least my experience is that only 1 or 2 outof 5-6 payments make their way to me.
Same for BitVisitor too, at least 1/3 of the mBTC "paid" never arrive at my wallet.
If they don't pay anyway, why dont they just quit, or at least show us a message that they're out of coins?
Just wondering, not that i would really care about a couple of satoshis i get there (or not), i just click 'em when i'm bored.
You'll always get your payment from CoinAd Yes you do. And the referral program is awesome too!

Try bitcoinary.com? I don't know much about the site but they might offer the service you need.

And try to integrate something like bit pay if she wants her products to be pegged to USD - saves the hassle of updating the price in BTC. The user account you pm-ed is whitelisted.
plus now with bit-pay she can be paid in USD!

If you have DOZENS of computers, all of which have multiple of the best Radeon you can get, solo mining is still probably a bad idea. The difficulty is just too high. You're better off in a pool.
And the GeForce is a bad place to start. Get a Radeon and you'll get 5-10 times as much Bitcoin mined, but you'll find that the difficulty is so high, it would be a bad investment to buy a new video card for mining, the real investment is buying Bitcoins themself and wait for the price to inevitably go up.

Zhou Tong: Why were there NO BACKUPS of the database? When I make a website of ANY caliber, I always keep a backup. I'll save a backup on multiple hard drives on my server so the chance of losing all three or four copies is almost zero. Even when writing a long email to someone, I'll write it in notepad and save it to my desktop every couple paragraphs because it's SO frustrating to lose even an hour of work on something. When your website had passed the $1,000,000 volume mark, you don't think it would have been a good idea to back up your database?

Ouch.
The worst thing about losing BTC is when the price of a Bitcoin goes up, the sting of pain goes up. Like at the time, it was probably $120,000, still a hefty pile of cash, you could probably find a nice used Ferrari for that much. Today it's $264,000, double ouch, what if next month it's $20/BTC? Now it's a half million dollar loss, or next year when the price is over $40/BTC? Million dollar loss. Throughout the course of time, the painful losses to bitcoinica will grow.
Another reason to buy Casascius coins and put them under your pillow.
