I'm getting not work on my cgminer, just constant new block detected on network.

How do you set up cgminer for solo mining this?

this should prove helpful:

Please, does anyone know where to find a calculator for solidcoin?
Is there some pool to avoid solo mining?
Thanks!

Kill yourself.

it's a contest to see how many BS posts from other alt-coin endorsers we can stuff in the first few pages of the thread Smiley

Make your first customers wait 12 months for a product and instead of shipping to them first send their product to assorted tech blogs who probably never had an order in the first place.

Minimum quantity?

Okay sounds good.

I'll be home in an hour so we'll get this show on the road.

Just one quick question, and I don't feel like it needs any more poking and prodding but I like to flip through things, and your post:

Is there any hard limit? I want to sleep tonight.
Exactly, 1h after last bid is too much

If everyone was ok with it, I would lower it to a 30 minute period.  Unfortunately there are some people who can't constantly check this, and I'd be risking being unfair to them if I changed the rule now.  One of the first AM auctions I bid on had a ~6 hour protection, so there's definitely precedent for this.

Yet in your post history I don't see you bidding on an auction, just on that orderbook thing there which is more like an exchange than an auction.

Again sorry if I feel like I'm being CSI on something that doesn't matter but I just wanted to point it out, and I could be totally wrong.

I also find it kind of interesting that JaredR's account also was registered in 2011, made 1 post, then didn't post again until a month ago.

Coincidences!

99.99% both of these people are someone else on the forum and these are the anonymous accounts..
652  Economy / Auctions / Re: 150 direct Asicminer shares 3 day auction on: May 08, 2013, 10:38:06 PM
Thujone created account on May 27, 2011, 12:54:17 PM
JaredR26 created account on June 10, 2011, 12:51:30 AM  (less than two weeks after Thujone)
I wouldn't have gone there if this bet didn't conveniently extend the betting by an hour less than 20 minutes from the deadline...
Who lurks for 2 years and does not log 4 hours on the forums?

I agree completely.

An open & shut case of a long-con scam ~ please label him for stealing over 50 btc = approx $10,000 from goat as March's BitLotto winner.

Not again!  Poor goat.

Yeah, my luck has not been so great.

Maybe you are overdue for good luck at this point then?  You should buy a lotto ticket Smiley

Released from newbie jail!  Cool

Guess I deserve that for being a lurker.

To confirm my bid, 10@1.39

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!  Crazy how you had your account for 2 years and just broke out now Smiley

657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the testnet reset? on: May 08, 2013, 09:46:29 PM
And I've bought and sold BBQcoins, which are supposed to be "just for fun."
Nothing wrong with selling those.

Here's another thread about selling bitcoin testnet coins:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=168864.msg1758171#msg1758171

Yes, I have read such threads before.  I can see that it makes people mad.  I don't agree that that should or will stop everybody.

It's odd when "making a coin valuable" is an attack vector.

It shouldn't make people mad. For testnet to be useful, we need people to use it. For that to happen, the coins need to have some value to them.

Wait, why do we need to use testnet for anything other than testing?

TESTnet

IMHO they should run a cronjob somewhere that does whatever they need to do to reset testnet like every month or something.
658  Economy / Auctions / Re: 10 Direct ASICMINER Shares - 24 HR only! on: May 08, 2013, 09:29:10 PM
I have PMed the 4 winners:

mc_lovin, xrobau, JStock7169, and Panchitoboy.

Sorry about the timestamp ibminer.  As Maxwell Smart said "missed it by THAT much".

No worries, I knew I had missed it after I posted and saw the time... for some reason I completely misread the time on my prior post about 'rich get richer, poor keep trying'... and had thought it ended... only to realize minutes later that the timestamp on that post was like 2 minutes before it ended... so I tried to repost without verifying the time, and was 3 minutes late... live and learn!    Cool

Apparently,

You can get the PT shares and get a free transfer out!  Check the details page, you can withdrawal once per month for free on single shares!

659  Economy / Auctions / Re: 150 direct Asicminer shares 3 day auction on: May 08, 2013, 09:27:21 PM
I don't want PTs. But good thing you point it out.

BTC-TC has free transfer out - meaning you can get direct shares if you decide that's what you want. Not sure about the other one.

Good to know actually!
660  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 50 Block Erupter Blades CHECK OP FOR PAYMENT on: May 08, 2013, 09:18:50 PM
Wow that failed, sorry. Also one of the fans provided is leaking fluid and now growling away. What is this tiny 2 pin connector called, might get some more.

You can cut the connector off the cheapo fan and splice the red and black wires to a case fan.  Works much better and two cover the whole heat sink.

I'd sooner wire the case fan to the 12v power source you're powering the asic with.  No point drawing more power from a board than necessary if you can just use an external PSU.

I guess so. Yeah can't work out why this one board is running so hot.

Might be slightly higher voltage w/same clock = same hashrate..  some tweaking req'd Smiley
