1362  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Solo mining with 2x S7 10 Th/S on: December 05, 2015, 02:16:17 AM
what do you think about:
http://solo.ckpool.org/

I have heard great reviews about this solomining pool. It does have a fee but it's relatively low and it saves you the trouble of managing your own solo mining node. You can easily recoup your losses if you mine a block when solo mining. It doesn't require an account which reduces the chances of it being hacked.

If you solo mine at this very second. Over a 30-day period you have an 8% chance to mine a block. As the network continues to grow, that number will go down.

But let the odds be ever in your favor. People have gotten blocks with s3's when the difficulty was 45B. Just depends how lucky you feel ^_^
1363  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Where's the catch with this? on: December 05, 2015, 02:09:24 AM
If you were buying this much chances are you would want hardware and buy new.  With a order that big it's likely there is a discount as they can make less per since big amount.  It does take bulk to get discount on most but for most 75k would do it I think. (Two I'm not sure is Bitfury might take more for them to even sell to you, and SP50 once release I expect to be quite high and bulk buyers).

But you would want either your own hosting center (which is hard to start) or go with someone else already doing it which with that amount again chances are hosting will give you a discount with 200T worth of gear.

I was talking with an IBM employee today about data center costs. It would be roughly $1,000 per sq ft to do a raised floor data center. So if you by chance have some capital. That's a rough estimate.

no escrow???

SCAAAAAAAM!!!

I see nothing else to discuss.... only you getting your trust red and with minus

beffore ro speak about mu thrust see you'r an let me in peace man.

If you read how he received the red trust by going to his profile you can tell it was by making a user angry and based on his successful trades with many more users I'd feel safe doing a transaction with him even with the red. You should always use your own due diligence, the trust system isn't immune to abuse.
It really isn't an immune system. People have done trust trading, abusing one feedback from a good member. It never ends well.

The only reason I didn't leave a negative trust is, to give him a chance. I only caution users

1366  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [CYBER MONDAY SALE!!!] Udemy Unlimited [RIPs any paid course for free] [AUTOBUY] on: December 04, 2015, 06:34:06 AM
Sale is now over.
Enjoy all new buyers!

Why did you quit your sale so early? Shocked

Did Udemy release any patches which can't be bypassed? Undecided

P.S. I thought of buying it afterwards, if need be.

It was a cyber monday sale, that went 3 days past cyber monday Tongue

It still works fine.
I bought it, and it works. That cyber monday deal sucked me in. Now to download all the classes!

Wonder if udemy will be hit with any repercussions from this: http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-34952382

No vouch copies will be given.
If you are not satisfieded with the method, I will give you a full refund.

The investment is needed & you never really lose a dollar of it. You'll have to have it with you one time & leave it, from there you can get as many games as you want for free. It involves some work but normally takes 5-10 minutes per game.

If you want to buy this, hmu.

You should do at least one vouch copy to a well known person.

The only thing I wonder is, what is really behind this line
No, you will not be doing anything too illegal. Just involves some immoral things. Does not involve scamming anyone directly or on sites like eBay
1368  Economy / Goods / Re: Any Amazon products for BTC on: December 04, 2015, 06:19:02 AM
I have amazon gift codes attached to my account. If any of you are in the market for buying a big ticket item (like $1K or higher) on amazon... TV or computer or something... I will have it delivered to you, you pay me 90 % of its cost in Bitcoin.
So you get 10 % off any product on amazon.
We'll use escrow that is released once you have the item.
I will say at least a 1K minimum to make it easier for me.

That is a lot for a minimum...
Can you reveal how you obtained the funds? Legitimately, illegitimately?

Check out purse.io

Sounds like it is attached to the account.
1369  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Antminer U2 x15 on: December 04, 2015, 06:14:53 AM
Sorry this is my first time selling on the forum, I typically use ebay, craigslist, or amazon. I do not know how to upload pictures here and not familiar with the escrow process although it sounds like that is a preferred method here. I would be open to paypal with someone that can prove they are not a scammer. I am located in the US

Upload your images to an image hosting site, such as imgur.com

Paypal has problems with chargebacks, so many people like BTC instead

The escrow process works like this: you setup an agreement with the buyer and an escrow. People that escrow can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
Once the escrow confirms the coins are in their possession, you should ship the items and wait for the buyer to confirm receiving items. Recommend having a tracking number associated. Escrow should then release funds to you.

Some other information that you might want to include in your original post. It helps from a buyer's point of view.

Do you accept an escrow?
Where might you be shipping from? US, EU, etc.

I think we're all posting hoping we can turn him into an honest person. (On all his threads)
Let's quit posting in these forums unless you wanna make a purchase. If he provides pictures and will escrow then that's good enough for me to make a purchase.
He originally did not want to post pictures, and he was defensive when asked for them. He's new here and people are trying to help him sell his equipment, at least he's learning.

@Mirages: I did not mean to be offensive in my replies if you took it that way, I'm just trying to help. If you were a buyer would you send $500 in irrevocable funds to a seller who is saying, you can trust me? And the amount doesn't matter its the point, would you send money to someone you didn't know by just their word?

i did yesterday, you can see it in the currency exchange forums , and been scammed for 50€ cause i would my money quickly , but the guy don't know who is on the computer in the other side , i cas realy thinking that it would be honest poeple for fast trade but realy missed .

i think i'll go on ebay or something like that ... maybe more difficult to get Btc from paypal after but better way to sell , for these and for my s5 too ... it is for that that i would have money first ... i know i'm honest and it has costed me 50€ ...

just disgusted .. but ... i see it's current here ...

I think we're all posting hoping we can turn him into an honest person. (On all his threads)

You also might know you're honest. But the rest of the internet doesn't. Hell that's why there is a thread saying use an escrow in the goods section. Meant to keep the honest people honest.

Quote from:  Jeff Dunham
Walter: My wife and I couldn't find any place to park anywhere near this stinkin' joint. And some jerk pulled up in a brand new Mercedes and pulled right into the handicap spot.
He got out of the car and there was nothin' wrong with him, don't you hate that? So I ran his ass over. I made an honest man out of him! And his mother got out of the other side and started swinging her crutches at me -- took her out with the door.
Jeff Dunham: Don't you feel kinda bad?
Walter: Ah hell, they can carpool.
1372  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: December 04, 2015, 12:33:25 AM
Hey guys! What does it mean "Your faucet has been disable due to abuse" ? And all my accs muted by admin. I played faucet 4-5 hours a day every 3 minutes with few acoounts. What rule i broke? Where can i read about abusing?

People farming the faucet this way ruins things for everyone, this is why we can't offer higher rewards. If you are spending 4-5 hours a day on multiple accounts simultaneously claiming the faucet as soon as possible you are absolutely abusing what the faucet was put in for. The faucet is a nice way for active users to get a small amount of bitcoins to test the site out and try different strategies. The above is exactly what I'd define as unacceptable faucet usage.

I guess people have a ton of free time if 4-5 hours a day on faucets is a thing. Could totally put that time towards more rewarding things like getting a job Cheesy
Has anyone gotten rich off faucet farming? Or profited well (>0.1)?
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorite strategy for dice? on: December 04, 2015, 12:21:36 AM
first of all search for some web that provide free faucet, then mostly i will just go with my feeling whether i want to bet low or high

then if your winning is quite a lot you can try with lower chance to win,

lower chance mean higher payment if you are lucky, but if using autobet usually i will go with the low
Or should you go high? ^_^

Really dice is just random.

I used to do 2.2x autobet with a 150% increase on loss.

I doubled my money, then hit a losing streak. But with this method you profit on the risky bets.

1376  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 9 unit S5 325$ each + shipping pay btc on: December 03, 2015, 04:59:20 PM
just trust me , you wouldn't regret .

Are u fucking kidding us ? Dont wanna use escrow, you refuse a personal meet and you expect somebody to send you ~3000$ just because you're saying youre honest person...... come on mate, are u from another world ?

ps : its not offtopic, i'm interrested in buying all 9 units but we will use @OgNasty as escrow, just say you're ok and i will put the coins in @OgNasty escrow wallet  Wink

ps 2 : no way to send payment upfront  Wink

i don't refuse a personal meet , just that guy was kidding on this thread , coming to an airport gatre taking about 40Kg of electronics ? with billet cost etc .. it was a joke and you are al breaking my b**** here . i don't expect someone to send me 3K$ .

where are you from and how much time will it take to recieve ? my other option is a second hand shop that is ok to take they back for 250€ it will be a great lost but as nobody will to buy them directly ...

yesterday i trusted someone on this forum , going first giving a 50 EURO paysafecard code to him to check it before paying me ... he was totally capable to scam me if he would ... i just trusted him .

i've also a PS4 to sell under the same conditions , no escrow i need that fucking money , a uk guy contacted me i hope the shipping fees will be good for him and it will be done , to uk i know< he will recieve the PS4 approx 1 week after and i hope he will let a post cosing all you mouth saying that i've not scammed him

You take huge risks not using an escrow. I find that funny it was with a guy barely a month old. Again people have been burned too many times on this forum and are vigilant.

But hey it is your loss. Go sell to a second hand shop then. If you don't take an escrow then it is your loss with many members here. But don't take an overwhelming response from the community to understand.
1377  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 9 unit S5 325$ each + shipping pay btc on: December 03, 2015, 03:28:45 AM

if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Undecided another message leaved unless interest ...

Many of the older members have seen and/or experienced scams first hand. The reason why the community is hostile is because they want you to prove yourself before you might be accepted. If you trade and interact with more known/trusted people the better you can gain rep.

The reason why this screams scam is:
  • Local sale, just "random luck". Never usually happens
  • Doesn't accept escrow because need funds "now". This almost never works here as funds need to be trustfully traded.
  • Refusing a face-to-face sale is never really good, btc is irreversible transactions.

Could I by chance reserve a spot and apply the signature tomorrow? My current campaign ends tomorrow and was a month long. Don't want to break rules on the last day and miss out on payments.
1379  Economy / Goods / Re: Sell 1 Troy once Gold Bullion on: December 02, 2015, 08:32:25 AM
Gone from asking for BTC loans with no collateral to selling gold bars.

Hope you are willing to accept Escrow so the buyer can check its not plated crap and it does get delivered.

pics would help too along with a piece of paper with your username and date on it.

Still hasn't provided pictures with a piece of paper. Wants to meet face to face, probably to mug you.
Doesn't address other's comments about authenticity of gold, accepting an escrow, or any good information in general.

If this isn't a scam, then boy I don't know what is.
1380  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Looking for a loaded coin/offline wallet/someone to show me how on: December 02, 2015, 06:18:26 AM
I know how to receive and send BTC and thats it.

Ive looked online how to store bitcoins offline on a USB or something and it seems somewhat complicated

Is there any way to buy a funded physical coin or anything without the seller potentially having access to the private key and being able to empty the funds at a later date?

And if not...I am potentially willing to pay someone in BTC to take me through a dummy version of putting some BTC into cold storage
Three ways of doing this.

1. Have an offline computer. By offline, completely no internet connection and clean install. Put bitcoin core on in and generate some addresses. Then when you want to withdraw grab the private key and put it in a wallet connected to the internet and send your coins immediately. Or connect the non-connected computer to the internet and download the blockchain.

2. Have a buyer funded or pre-funded coin from a very well known seller of coins. i.e. Casascius, Smoothie (Lealana coins), mrbrt (Ravenbit).
mitchell (Silver Wallets) that are DIY coins. Generate your private address and stick it under the security hologram.
Then send your coins to that address.

3. Coinbase offers a "vault" which takes a couple days to withdraw. But trusting in someone else.

I might have some information slightly off, but that is what I have learned so far.
