1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest lost you have made as gambler? on: August 20, 2018, 08:16:10 AM
One of my friends has just lost $10,000 in football gambling and I have been trying to encourage him.  I will like to find out how much you have lose in gambling and how did you manage the loses. I know many has makes some profits from gambling and some has lost significant amounts of money as this market is a very risky one.

$ 10k is a very large amount that I might not spend in gambling. My biggest loss in a single game was only about $ 200 and that was a long time ago. When in a relatively large losing position, I would usually try to chase it little by little.
1362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: August 19, 2018, 06:41:53 PM
My motivation for investing in crypto currencies is that I want to have savings for the future of my family, so that their lives and finances will be guaranteed and my family is my motivation to succeed in the crypto currency.

We are all have the same hope in regard with cryptocurrency. The price movement in the end of 2017 pumped my motivation and I wish such movement will occur again in the near future.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 19, 2018, 05:08:34 PM
Manchester United lost against Brighton right now. This is the first shocker of the Premier League as probably very few individuals were expecting for Brighton to win against Manchester United. This shows that Mourinho will have a difficult time this year too and I think it is time for him to quit coaching Manchester United, he brought nothing here except an Europa League.

Brighton & Hove Albion play a very effective match against Manchester United. But the competition is still long and ManU needs to improve some things that still look bad from the two previous matches that have been undertaken. Conceding four goals from two matches is a sign that the defense side needs to get extra attention.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: August 19, 2018, 09:53:53 AM
Actually it was my first time to gamble online so I really don't know what's the difference between using crypto over fiat but I think crypto is more convenient because of its feature of being anonymity and since I am from the third world country that doesn't have credit card it would be hard for me to gamble using fiat when I stumble upon bitcoin  I was really amaze how easy to use it and how easy for me to buy anytime I want.
That was right, using cryptocurrency in gambling is much more convenient rather than you use fiat in gambling. Instead of moving to other places to go to casinos you can easily be doing that at your home. I'm not gambling lover but sometimes if I have an extra bitcoin I open my gambling site account and play dice it is really easy to gamble just deposit your digital money and you can start gambling.
It has a big effect on the price on the market if many people purchase crypto to use in gamble it means it has a more demand for bitcoin and makes it expensive.

Convenience and anonymity of cryptocurrency transactions made it easier for gamblers to bet without tension of privacy issues. Cryptocurrency gambling attracted more people from around the world into online casinos. It is much helpful for gamblers who are from such countries where gambling is not allowed.
There was a time when technology wasn’t that much suppressive. And see it now, even people are running themselves just because of this gambling thing. They want to kill themselves financially and emotionally but just they got blind of the worst greed, they aren’t seeing anything. Online gambling is also a worst part of this technological evolution. May things get good?

Of course in every case there are positive and negative sides. Although cryptocurrencies make gambling easier to do, the possibility of becoming an addict, even from home, will be more widely open.

why is site down again ?  Angry

I was also wondering what's the problem, I noticed that bitsler is down too often.

Everything is back to normal again now. I faced the same problem previously and probably because of a DDoS attack that caused it. I was surprised, why did the attacker not get bored with his new toy?
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 18, 2018, 06:49:56 PM
Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM

Of course. When it comes to shitty games my limit is 0.

I've never spent money on lotto tickets for example.

When it comes to any other type of gambling, I set a strict budget in advance and never surpass it. Especially if I've lost that budget.

I'm not rich so I'd rather get my thrills in a way that won't bankrupt me.

Don't let the game dictate us. Limiting our budget while in gambling is one step that can be taken so that we do not fall into a loss that is difficult to forget.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: August 18, 2018, 11:04:26 AM
That's a big no-no. Gambling with another person's money is a great way to lose that person's trust and friendship.
You meant that borrow money from someone or to gamble with someone's money?

I don't recommend to borrow money from someone because it is too risky and you don't know how you can give the money back. besides that, if that money is for playing gambling, then you don't have to do this because you cannot win the game and you cannot always pay back the money. it is better to stay away from gambling especially if you don't have any money and it is better to search for a job so you can get the money.

The pressure we will get when gambling with money from loans is very heavy. It is okay if we are lucky and able to double or triple it. But what if we lose? We must chase it as soon as possible and to do so we may have to make other loans which will certainly add to the weight of the pressure we receive. It is better not to gamble with money that we cannot afford if we lose it.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: August 18, 2018, 06:42:45 AM

I don’t think working will lead you to the lifestyle you want, much less gamble, you cannot bet a lot of money and just risk everything for an unassured thing and you wouldn’t be able to get it back if you lose everything.

I think you could say that, probably they already know that but didn’t control themselves.

Doing other things like work will not eliminate gambling habits instantly, especially for those who have gambled for years. It takes time before we can forget about gambling completely. And during the process, we may need other hands to make it true.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: August 17, 2018, 04:42:37 PM
A good gambler knows what the best for them not to become an addicted on gambling. And They know already what's their own limit while on playing as a good criteria of being gambler.

Couple of things which the good gamble would always remember and will try to maintain so that they do not go off track. Like always be having  a set target of money to gamble with. Do not become too greedy during win/lose. leave early if you have won in the game or some good amount during start itself. Try to take break from gambling so that do not get addicted to it.

Yes, as long as people who gamble are able to maintain their game and never get a bad situation in his life because of gambling, I can assume that he is a good gambler. Losing or winning in gambling will not change everyday life, especially in financial matters.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: August 17, 2018, 03:54:57 PM
I don't what is the reason for someone to be shy when he is playing gambling online, even though it is not online and it is land based casino then what is the point of being shy? you do have your own money, you are the one who earned it and basically you do have the rights to use it on wherever you wanted to use it, if you are being shy because other people that you know might see you, then just don't gamble if you can't stand the judgment of other people.

At first, it might seem strange why we should be ashamed of our gambling habits. But once we understand what can happen if we continue this habit, then we might know the reason. After someone enjoys playing gambling, soon or later he can do other things that can imperil others, especially those closest to him. Selling valuables belonging to the family is the most common thing gamblers do to satisfy the ambition to gamble.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: August 17, 2018, 11:24:19 AM
The success rate is very low, but I know some very successful gamblers. If you talk about my experience till now then I am not a successful one. I made a lot in gambling and lost all in one day because of anger and frustration. One of the community member where I play who happens to be a great gambler advised me to put risk management in my strategy and remove emotions and if I am feeling anger then don't play at that time. So, trying to learn something new everyday..

The only way to be success in gambling, for me, is by hitting the jackpot or win a good amount of money and then stop. If after get a huge win someone still in the gambling habit then the chance to be fail will be greater. The success stories in gambling is very rare tbh.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale for win, my own experience on: August 17, 2018, 08:37:38 AM
I guess that you cannot always win with your martingale strategy because of it still difficult to get this strategies works in a long time no matter you can master the strategies. maybe martingale is work in the short time only and for a long time, I think you need to make another strategy so you can still win in the game. I hope that you can control yourself and not spend too much money if you decide to play in all day long.

Martingale will work if :
1. We have an unlimited balance
2. The casino has no max profit rule, means we can bet with whatever amount we want.

And I guess, those two conditions will be impossible to achieve and that is why I considered martingale isn't the perfect strategy in gambling. It can work if we are lucky enough and know how to stop, otherwise it will fail.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 15, 2018, 11:11:32 AM
Gambling is relay with both these things. Strategy and Luck.

Here I want to know which one is best in your belief. Please share your thoughts guys.

I believe in betting we can work around with tactics and it will be best option to make money out with gambling.

For dice roll, slot roll and poker games we definetely need the luck as a main factor.
You are completely mistaken about the bold part, it is true that you need some luck once in a while in the game of poker since there are times where it seems that all the cards that you need do not come up and yet the cards that your opponent needs always seems to appear, but poker is not a game of luck, poker is a game of skill.

If it was a game of luck then it will be impossible to see poker players as successful as Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan or Phil Hellmuth, while we could say they have needed some sort of luck to get there it is impossible to explain their success with the luck argument, they have skill in the game and they have shown that consistently over the years.
If you ask my honest opinion regarding the game of poker, it would be none different than yours. I also consider poker as a game of skill not of luck. If a person has good cards but does not know the tricks of this game, the cards are useless certainly. Poker is the only gambling game that I can think about when it comes to fun, thrill and applying skills.

There are skills in poker game and that is why I haven't played it until now because I think I can't play it properly. And I don't think anyone will make poker as their main game if they don't master this game well. Skill will be dominant in poker when there is only one person who master it well while the other players are noobs.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: August 14, 2018, 07:57:15 PM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
Yes i do have an experience like that. I pay may debt through the help of gambling when i got won and get a huge profit that is fit to sustain and give also to provide for billings to be pay. In that case i will used gambling through the paying or any form of needs in our daily life and mostly in financial assistances.

Be careful friend! Relies on gambling to fulfill daily needs especially with the loans money could 'kill' you at anytime. Your previous experience is just the lucky blow and as I can assure, luck won't be with your forever! Gamble wisely, with your own money that you can afford to lose!
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETF Really Effect the Bitcoin/BTC on: August 14, 2018, 06:27:28 PM
Hello...Freinds

There are lots of news are coming up about ETF & Bitcoin. Is Really ETF effect the BTC price?

Market reacts to the news about ETFs which unfortunately is a bad news. But in my opinion this is just a temporary reactions. Soon or later, market will react to the other issues.
1376  Other / Archival / Re: Do i need a license if i want to create a crypto gambling site? on: August 14, 2018, 05:32:49 PM
Very few countries provide with legal support for the development and implementation of gambling. As the online gambling sites too requires certain norms to be fulfilled, they register with those particular countries. This will let the gambling sites progress and gain the trust of users while there are lots of un registered gambling sites which scams people.

I don't know much about how to operate a gambling site but as my common sense says, licensing is a must for gambling sites that want to stay longer and want to avoid further problems in the coming days and years. And again, with licensing, users will feel more secure when risking their money to such gambling places.
1377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price is not stop falling! What to do? on: August 14, 2018, 09:38:21 AM
In my opinion, LET THE PRICES DROP. You know what I believe will happen? New waves of investors will "get in" while they can as prices plummit which will certainly help to stimulate prices. Also, we all know how BIG of a player the PRESS is when it comes to spreading the word about cryptos. In fact, poor press coverage is responible for many ICO failures.

My reason for mentioning the media up is that no news is bad news; no coverage is bad coverage. As we see such large percentile drops within a short period of time (this is the lowest of the year) more outlets will begin to release publications covering the topic.

This means, quite literally, that the declining prices can (and probably will) not only have a turning point but a strong one at that.

For people who believe that someday bitcoin prices will soar compared to today's prices, of course the current price, when there is a decline, is a good opportunity for them to start investing their money. But for those who are hesitant or even do not believe in the future of bitcoin, they are free to sell the assets they have. So, what to do is depends on the confidence of each individual.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: August 13, 2018, 08:48:47 PM
i only gamble using bitcoins, for some reason i always get confused at my bet if it's not on bitcoin i dont know what would be the value in usd, i get anxious if i placed too much bet, it would be time consuming if i switch back and forth from converter and gambling website.

I feel it too. Bitcoin is the first coin I use to gamble and unfortunately when I use other coins like ethereum or dogecoin, I can't feel the pleasure. Every time I bet with coins other than bitcoin it seems like I'm not gambling.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: August 13, 2018, 11:00:50 AM
Gambling Affects your life either in a good or bad way in the long run. Some of those effects that can change your life are:

Good Effects:
*Can make money easily (not guaranteed)
*Gives so much pleasure
*Meeting new friends
*Can increase your assets

Bad Effects:
*Big loss
*Increased on your debt
*Loss jobs
*Depression/Stressed
*Broken Family/Failed on relationship
*Insufficient Funds

Despite of this effects many people are still want to continue gambling, how can you handle this possible effects of gambling in your life?
This both affect can affect your life all you need is to take care . sometimes this good affect is not always it is depends on what you gonna do and the bad affect too it is always affect on a gamer .
To avoid those effects, we shouldn't bet with big amounts each time we gamble. Never take a loan even the smallest one if we intend to use it to gamble. The last one is to gamble only on our spare time. If we are able to do all of those things then we won't get depression, broken family and Insufficient funds caused by gambling.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2018, 10:14:13 AM
Today only three games in the Premier league but three big teams are also going to play. It will be interesting to see the game of Liverpool after transferring some good players to Anfield road for the season and are going to play against a not so strong West Ham.

Also the main game of the day Arsenal vs Manchester City , this game should have both teams to score as both teams do not care much about their defence.

At the beginning of the season, surprises could happen and today I wish West Ham will do it against Liverpool. Btw, the match between Arsenal and Manchester City is worth to watch. Yes, both team to score would be a good bet to make.
