1361  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Watch out for the scams out there on: December 16, 2017, 05:13:01 PM
Look out for the people who arent willing to do escrow. Their will be guys coming on here promising you any gift card but you first must send them money. First sign is low posting number. There is a lot of signs showing someone may be a scam.
Common sense is all you need which if you do see that you don't have any assurance or security regarding on a certain transaction then our intuition and common sense would really tell us on not to do that such transactions. Scammers are everywhere and do the things that they must do as long they can able to get money from people. Escrows is always advised and there are lots of reputable middleman on this forum which we can actually use their service. If you are on doubt then better to cancel it off than on losing money.
1362  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal bitcoin or illegal bitcoin on: December 16, 2017, 04:51:08 PM
Ofcourse the legal bitcoin. Legal bitcoin gives you assurance that your investment is in the good hands and free from hackers. Aside from that it is better to do since they have authority by the government to operate.

The issue of legality depends upon how we use a currency, if we use for transactions among other users there is no illegal stuff but if we buy drugs and practice activities that are illegal and can cause harm to other then it may be treated as illegal. But, why to blame Bitcoin alone for any illegal activities as there are many more currencies out there which are also used for illegal activities. Just because of some users are using Bitcoin in the illegal activities one cannot state whole crypto currency as illegal.
The main reason why? Because it is really be hard to be tracked when transaction are being made on bitcoin form unlike on fiat which government can really possible to trace up which cant really be done on bitcoin itself. This is why they do really prohibit on using or even adopting it because they know the risk but not only that regarding criminality but also on taxation.Adoption would really be decided on a certain place depending on how they would see it and bitcoin do really have positive and negative side it depends on which thing they would really consider.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what is the best wallet for waves coin? on: December 15, 2017, 07:15:00 PM
1) can anyone tell me what is the best wallet for waves coin

2) if i do waves token bounty what wallet is good for that ?

thank you

I do only make use of waveswallet.io when it comes on storing up waves platform coins which you can actually download the extension for easy access on next time you do tend to log-in. The most important thing to be done when creating and storing up some coins in this wallet is made a back-up everytime which you can actually see top right of the wallet which do have a gear image.Save up the keys and informations needed.
1364  Economy / Economics / Re: Before I Die... on: December 15, 2017, 05:36:33 PM
This will not happen in our life time. These Banks /Financial institutions, have the protection and the backing from their local

governments. You will have to change the government to stop the protection and this can only be done with your vote.

Unfortunately not all governments work the same. {Most corrupt governments stay in power, because their voting system is

rigged or they manipulate the system}  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is a currency/commodity... not the perfect solution for all our problems.  Roll Eyes

We can make some government systems more transparent and fair, with the use of the Blockchain technology. {for instance

the voting system and also public tenders}  Wink
Even we do say that we do select a new leaders on a certain country it wont still be able to have the chance on changing banking and currency system it would remain still no matter what this is why I do believe that this thing been hoped for by OP is really an impossible thing to happen. Local Fiat and Banks been backed no matter what and as long they can really see the benefit of fiat than into bitcoin then theres no doubt on having such changes and as you said this is not a perfect solution of all of our problems because I doubt we would still really need fiat money and all financial system on what we are experiencing now.
1365  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NiceHash Hacked: $62 Million Stolen? on: December 14, 2017, 08:47:21 PM

$ 66 million, imagine what the money is for?
his hackers must also be confused, how to spend that much money
while the government continues to monitor the accounts of suspicious people
Its none of our business on how he would use and consume all the money he had stolen on nicehash. $65m is really some life changing amount and you can already done lots of things with that money.I am very sure recovery would really be hard on stolen funds and the thing they can do as of now is to track such movement of those coins but I do believe those coins would sit for a while on what wallet or either be gradually be deposited to other wallet by the use of mixers. Leaving out trails is the main mission of the hacker for sure.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs... Just avoit these! on: December 14, 2017, 06:19:53 PM
Participating and investimg in ICOs is one thing that one needs to be very careful with and must do a very good research before investing
Most of them are just a rip-off with no future plans for development.
Check projects that have an existing product that can solve a problem and not just something too abstract without any realworld application.

You may find the white paper link in the announcement of every ICO project so that will give you clarity to understand what is the project is about so utilize that learn more about and then go to invest on ICO projects.
Mostly we are new usage of crypto platform is coming to the market that will all not move good in the market. You will find the relevant projects as a good option and it's value only grows better.

THe little experience I have is telling me to move away from project that have obscure deals, large discounts, etc... I am also gaining understanding of factors that do not relate strictly to the business.
This is why I do keep on seeking those kind of project which I do see unique among others because if I do tend to read up they are almost identical or just copycats which it would really makes us hard to find a good one considering that there are lots of project that do almost launch everyday. Its quiet tiring to find but if you are really eager to get or make some serious profits then we should really work hard to find the gem. Most of them are trash but there would really be project which are really worth on to invest.
1367  Economy / Securities / Re: Any Safe 1.5% Monthly? on: December 14, 2017, 05:29:21 PM
Your best chance of finding a safe 1.5% monthly yield is to invest in the bankroll of a trusted gambling site,

Ideally it should be a new site with a lot of funding, so you can achieve a greater than 1.5% yield while it's in the growth phase. Alternatively, you could invest on sites such as the one in my signature, making sure to take advantage of any new customer offers, and trading very carefully.
Usually most new gambling sites would really offer such investment type on where you would put up funds or acts as a stock holder of such gambling site but not always the case that we can easily put up money on bankroll knowing that not all newly made gambling sites are legit or do have an assurance to long term or just they are accumulating funds and become scam later on this is why we should really be vigilant into our actions and don't force up too much if we cant really reach out the goal. 1.5% month is really achievable but on constant basis then it would really be hard to determine.
1368  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Would it be legal to create new crypto? on: December 14, 2017, 04:32:58 PM
I am from India and bitcoin is not illegal here nor it is regulated.Reserve Bank, the central bank, says it is still watching bitcoin revolution www.indiabitcoin.com/reserve-bank-of-india-governor-raghuram-rajan-speaks-about-bitcoin/ .
My question is if I create a cryptocurruncy (Some new Alt coin),will I be doing something illegal? Can I be put behind bars for creating a parallel currency,if it gets widely accepted?
You just have to be careful how you market it.

Making false claims as to how fast it will grow in value or misleading people who buy it in any way may cause you difficulties.

No one will complain when things are going right but when things go wrong they will come for your head unless you have covered yourself.
Partner up with someone who has studied a=or practices law, they may be able to guide you through any problems.
It would be a good option but wont really be necessary at all since it has being mentioned that bitcoin isn't illegal on their country which would result if he tend to make a new coin it would really be just fine but in the fact that we should not really violate or step up on they do govern things because once you have done such thing then expect they would really make actions against you. For me it just still fine as long you do know on how to market it on right way and wont really violate any laws along the way.
1369  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitfines a joke? on: December 13, 2017, 11:38:32 PM
So I've been trying to generate an eth deposit address for over an hour  Shocked
The Bitfinex web page either hangs or gives me an error:
"The Ethereum watchonly daemon is restarting, please come back in a few minutes."
I tried generating deposit addresses for other coins to no avail.
At some stage I even got a "Deposit address creation disabled" message.
Is this below par performance usual for Bitfinex?
Thanks
On that case it do sometimes happen when that new address request is being abused or just a total error on the system which is normal and cant really be avoided on exchange sites.Bitfinex isn't a joke exchange site but recently their site do already have lots of complaints not only into errors but also into their service either on withdrawals, deposits, block of  accounts, verification matters and etc. which would result up to make hesitations on using this site. If they wont really resolve this stuff for sure it would gradually decrease their users.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum will hit $1,000? on: December 13, 2017, 10:12:25 PM
I am positive it will reach $1,000, and it will happen sooner than we think.

Ethereum is one of rare cryptocurrencies that has an game changing real life use, and it can be implemented in almost every business in one aspect or another.

The world is slowly starting to embrace it and I think we will see it reach $1,000 before 2019.
Year 2019 is ideal but seeing on its price movement then I would say that range would really be too long maybe on next year 4th quarter of 2018 might able to break that resistance but well its just an assumption since no one really knows on when we would hit up that $1000 price I'm really very sure that we would reach that point and as you said ETH do have a big area or place to develop and adopted even more because of its unique feature which is smart contract which would really be applied on real-life usage this is why its really worth of to hold ETH as of these days.
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 09:28:20 PM
Hello all,
I hear of some rumors that Facebook is going to accept BTC in the near future Smiley Am i late with this news, or just misunderstand ?

BR,

Gondel
This is already a 3 year old thread but answering this on present time would really be important which those assumptions isn't happening yet as of now on where facebook isn't still adopting bitcoin as of these days on year 2017 and its the end of the year already but who knows if the owner would decide up to adopt it on next year 2018. It would really be great but for sure it would really need to pass up many argumentation and analysis if they would decide to accept bitcoin into their service. It would be a convenience for all bitcoin users who do make use facebook.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Canīt deposit coins on Bittrex, Error Generating Address on: December 13, 2017, 06:13:12 PM
Hi there,

For the past few weeks i try to resolve a problem with Bittrex but nothing seems to work. So I hope you guys can help me out.

I would like to buy some Lunyr (LUN) and since the only platform trading this coin is Bittrex i opened up an account. I verified my passport (Dutch, also living in the Netherlands), address and everything else they asked for. But when i try to deposit coins (Wallets > +IconNextToCoin > NewAddress) i get the following error:

Error Generating Address
There was an error generating your deposit address. Please try again. Error:ACCOUNT_NOT_VERIFIED

It seems pretty straightforward right? Account not verified.. but as i go to Enhanced Verification it clearly states: Your application for an enhanced account has been approved. With a big thumps up next to it. But as i go back to (Basic verification > Basic Information) is states:

NO PUBLIC RECORD MATCH
We could not match your information to our public record providers. To complete the verification process, you must apply for an enhanced account.

Which doesn't make sense, i already enhanced my account right? Seems like i'm in some sorta loophole..

So with this issue i tried to contact Bittrex customer service but they are of course crazy busy and don't respond.

Any help, tips or information will be highly appreciated because at this point i really don't know what to do anymore  Sad Huh
I'm not familiar too much on this kind of situation which its really quiet odd to see those words of approval of verification but yet are stuck on the status of not being verified. This is somehow a system bug supposed to be and shouldn't really be experienced since verification have passed.I don't know if they do add up some 2nd layer of verification or whatsoever since I didn't already visited this site long time.
1373  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Trade Failed - Btc to ETH on: December 12, 2017, 05:59:31 PM
How can my address could be wrong if i made all that in the "Exchange" field? If i was transfering btc to ETH, if for any reason the transaction fails, the money should return to where it started. Huh
Directly speaking you are trying to convert your BTC to ETH but turns out that blockchain said that you don't have valid return address which I do see that you would need to input your btc address. I'm not sure on this thing and do confuse me regarding on your situation because its quiet odd that they didn't recognize your btc address that you used on sending those amounts to be converted. I don't know the system on conversion on blockchain though but saying sending on BTC to ETH is not really possible.
1374  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: December 12, 2017, 04:05:56 PM
in my opinion, this is what happening right now as the trend of bitcoin price has been sky rocketing.  what do you think affects the price increase of bitcoin today?
Simply the supply and demand formula applies here which has been discussed hundred of times on this forum, demand is increasing rapidly while the supply is same. What i have observed that popularity of bitcoin has increased more than 500% this year and people are much interested to earn huge profit through it that's why everyone is investing. The popularity will increase even more in the near future and we will see the bitcoin ruling the world with it's high worth.

Bitcoin increasing due to its high demand and the demand were creasted by more popularity of bitcoin in recent days.More people understand that bitcoin is the only way to earn huge money in short time,so people are buying and holding the bitcoins.
But if it continues for too long it will affect the price of bitcoin if all people just hold bitcoins then it will stop the circulation of bitcoin which leads to the price fall or cash so it is essential to keep good amount of bitcoin in circulation.
Circulation would really be always needed for it to grow even more but this sudden price increase and adoption did really cause for bitcoin network to be congested which do result on longer confirmation and with higher fees.I don't know on what would happen if the adoption or demand would increase even more.I cant think off on the possible congestion that it would create knowing that bitcoin isn't still suitable on these kind of situations. Bitcoin is already making a buzz as of now where those people who against bitcoin are now turning into it already.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I am buying tokens and coins that is not listed on exchange yet on: December 12, 2017, 02:12:50 PM
Topic says it all.
I will buy coins/tokens that is not listed on exchange.
Will pay ethereum
Send me pm of what you have and how much you want.
Escrow, or yoi send first.
Why wont go on their website itself? Theres lots of ICO is ongoing as of now which you can buy their coins with ETH which you can actually find it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0. Its much safer than on buying it on other people here on this forum and regarding on price you wont hesitate since you would get it on big discounts rather than on people will sell you on higher prices for sure.Just remember on buying those coins or projects that do have potential not just carelessly selecting because you are on a rush.Always research man. Good luck
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Which bounty campaign is very good now? on: December 10, 2017, 05:24:31 PM
I am expecting to receive 11,000 MDN tokens from Meridian signature campaign bounty, and ICO price for the project was 5,000 per 1 BTC but unfortunately that sig camp has ended now. The best signature campaigns are the ones that nobody is looking at, I would also suggest if you have any skills in translating that might be a good option to make some BTC or alts.
This is what I'm doing on when I do plan to join up bounty campaign which I do seek out which people aren't interested to but do really have the potential of such good project when you tried up to read their whitepaper because most of the time these coins or project would really give you some serious profit when it did become successful and for you as a bounty hunter the fewer people would divide the bounty the higher possible profits would be made. Its up to your choice and you would need to search up.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta - Decentralized Token Exchange on: December 10, 2017, 04:52:44 PM
is this site even possible to use?Huh
ive watched 5 + youtube videos and im more confused then i originally was lmao

i linked my MEW account and clicked the coin i wanted to deposit and still not working?? i just  want to send my MEW coins to Ether delta to sell

why is this so hard ?

If you didn't manage to understand how it works after 5 video tutorials, than I have to say that crypto is not for you. Sorry, but it's not rocket science, it's just an exchange.
Little bit harsh but I would agree. Seeing 5 youtube videos and you cant still get it then it would really be hard for you to stay up on cryptoworld. Its not really complicated at all since even reading up the guidelines on how to use the site being written on there would really be already enough for you to understand and followed the steps and even on common sense you would able to slowly understand on how to use it up.I would admit its really hard at first but if you did already try and get the idea it would really be easy.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind of economy will it be if bitcoin is a currency? on: December 10, 2017, 04:31:58 PM
First of all, bitcoin would not be able to become primary currency due to its high volatile price.Even though if it gets famous in future, still it might be used as a secondary currency. In future, banks may suffer due to loss of revenue which they get from transactions.

Bitcoin would help for the progress of a nation's economy by providing new earning opportunities to unemployed people. It has already started to play an important role in countries like nigeria, venezuela where economic crisis has occurred.
This is the only thing on where I do see that bitcoin would benefit a particular country which it would really give an opportunity for those jobless people on that place where would really lessen up on the unemployment rate and as being said Bitcoin would never become a main currency and even on my dreams this thing wont really happen as long theres government they will really still be the one who rule and make such decision on their country or on their vicinity.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: December 10, 2017, 03:54:47 PM
Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?

there is many coins that the price after listed in the exchange and the price is down
example SONM the ico price around 5k satoshi or more but now at 1.7k satoshi

Maybe the best decision is to buy after ICO!

If everyone buys after ICO, where will investors come from?
ICO will be successful because of the investors.
Calm down even though trading on the stock at the very beginning fell below the price of ICO, after which will definitely recover.
Like Monaco, etc. So have to be patient of course
not because the price fell down means it will take there forever .every coin
has their time to grow.sad to say sometimes it took a year before they recover but
still making their way to make profit..so mate is right just calm down for sure it
will recover soon
Not all the time because some of those coins have been dumped haven't already the chance to pump later on. Theres no assurance but if the coin or project do have still progress and recent updates then we can really assume that it would really still have the chance to pump out again and would possibly break even on our investment or having a profit. Its just a matter or patience and the amount of risk you can able to take.
Token price fall after ICO when it hits on exchanges is when investors are profit taking together with bounty hunters dumping all of their free coins.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Secured is MyEtherWallet? on: December 10, 2017, 03:05:28 PM
1. What he would possibly do to expose my password?
No one could able to expose your password as long no one would able to know it.

2. What did I do wrong that I can accidentally expose my password.
They can possibly get your keys through malware, keylogger and phishing site,so be careful.

3. What I didnt do that let me expose my password?
Maybe you mean, what should you do for you not to exposes you keys, then store it offline that no one has an access into it and keep it.

4. How hard to hack mew?
Its wallet and even the site don't have the possession of your keys which means it very hard to hack even a single wallet.
