It is a good question. This season is going to be important for especially Diego Simeone. Because he is in his last year of his contract with Atletico Madrid now. Atletico Madrid don't seem to be rushing anything to extend his contract yet. I think this shows that the board haven't been satisfied with their performance in the recent years.

Especially last season was even worse for Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. It was a horrible group stage performance. In the La Liga not much thing changed as well. They should be a team to be able to enter a title rivalry normally.

Considering all of this Simeone must find a way to improve this performance. But in my opinion Atletico Madrid will have a similar season and this will be the end of Simeone era for this team after a relationship of 10+ years.

While I wasn't expecting any more offers I came across some news regarding this situation. Bayern Munich have been reported to be preparing a new offer of 110 million euros. Unlike my expectation it looks like they will be insistent on signing Kane this summer. Then I guess Bayern Munich don't really have another striker on their target now.

They are ready to spend an enormous amount for Kane so Levy might be convinced after some time maybe. But as I said before Levy doesn't say something like he would sell him if they get an offer like 150 million for example.

As a result we might see a couple of more offers coming from Bayern Munich to convince him finally.

I'm curious whether the PSG board are thinking the same as you. Because PSG have been desperately trying to make it to the Champions League title for many years. We have seen many managers coming and going but there is still no expected result. I don't want to show it like it has all been the managers' fault of course.

It is more related to the management of the team as whole. The owners are responsible for this look actually. Because of that I can't be sure of anything in Luis Enrique's management either for now. But if he manages to make his system work out much better than the previous managers then it can be more interesting.

PSG are a team that played a Champions League finale in the past years. Their main goal is to win the title now.

Griezmann has signed a new deal with Atletico Madrid which is a permanent one this time. He has done the right thing for himself in my opinion. Because he really belongs there as he has had his best performances with Atletico Madrid in his career. Atletico Madrid have benefited from his skills very well so far also. Last season he was really impressive with many goals and assists.

However there are some links with Saudi teams recently. But it doesn't make sense to me that he signs for one of those teams right after signing a new deal with Atletico Madrid. I think those will stay as just rumours.

I guess the reason why Icardi isn't in the starting eleven is his lack of training. Because due to his wife's health problems he wasn't able to start getting prepared for next season in time. Because of that we see Bakambu instead. But depending on Bakambu's performance maybe Okan Buruk might prefer Icardi at the beginning of the second half.

As far as I know Bayern Munich will think about what they can do about signing Kane after Tottenham's once again negative answer. But would there be another offer coming after that? I don't think so truthfully. Because they have already made a huge offer like 100 million euros despite his being a 30-year-old player right now.

Bayern Munich are really in a desperate need of a striker now. But they don't even know how much Tottenham chairman wants for Kane exactly. He is just resisting to keep him for another season. Bayern Munich could start looking for another striker from now on.

PSG are just playing with fire by having two injury-prone players such as Dembele and Neymar in the squad. Dembele's release clause must be really attracting to them to go for the deal. But Dembele is no different than Neymar when it comes to having a serious part of a season as injured.

I won't be surprised if we see both of them being the same this season also. There was even a video that people were cheering Barcelona players when they were leaving the stadium in which they did it for Dembele when an ambulance left the stadium. 

I hope they prove me wrong for at least one season but for now I'm confident about my thinking.

There is no striker transfer yet for Barcelona. I know they have Lewandowski already but I mean a backup player for him. If they want to play bigger this season they need to strengthen some positions first. Increasing the number of players for a position is always an important precaution.

There is no guarantee for Lewandowski like he will be able to play in every single match in a season. He can get injury or suspended. You know Lewandowski hasn't been shown a red card for years but he put an end to it after joining Barcelona. Things can get harder about scoring goals in his absence if they don't have a natural striker in the substitutes.

No, the new format will be starting as of the 2024/25 season. I also thought it was this season first. It is going to be a pretty interesting format though. Because it will be like a league format but not exactly. Teams are going to be grouped with each other again so a team isn't going to play against all the rest of the teams in the league.

I think this is an unnecessary format. The current system is already working very well and teams have also been satisfied with it. Why do UEFA feel the need of making such change? This might not even be the only change for that season though. Because there is some rumour like UEFA will start to add Saudi Arabian teams into the Champions League also. This can make things even more interesting.

As far as I know Hamilton has stated before that he wants to race for five more years in Formula 1. But this still doesn't guarantee one thing that Hamilton will continue and end his career at Mercedes. He has also been linked with rumours like he might join Ferrari. They are just entering this news on some websites regularly.

On the other hand Hamilton refuted these rumours before by saying that he was in talks with Mercedes for a contract extension already.

In short things are really complicated now as there are rumours saying different things everywhere. 

I don't think Tchouameni would sign for Manchester United now. Real Madrid wouldn't like to let him go just now in the first place. Because why would they? He has been a regular in the starting eleven in so many La Liga games until now. He has a long-term contract (until 2028) also. He is a part of Real Madrid's project now.

Manchester United will need to spend a great deal of money as his market price is €85m also. Rather than him Goretzka is a more realistic target for them now. Because there have been news such as Bayern Munich are willing to sell Goretzka for some time.

His cost might also not be too much for Manchester United which might be around €50m the most.

Dembele is the player about whom people are talking about the most. But we shouldn't forget about Goncalo Ramos transfer which is about to be announced soon also. Ramos is a quite young player now maybe but he has a lot of potential. He has been an important part of Benfica for a while by scoring so many goals so far.

PSG have been in search of a decent centre-forward with or without Mbappe's departure. He is staying for this season as well probably so we can see Mbappe leaving his position in the lineup to Ramos.

It doesn't matter where Mbappe plays in the attacking line of course. Because he has a playing style for himself and he keeps it wherever we see him in the lineup.

Do you think Okafor transfer will be enough for Milan to keep their attacking line strong? I don't think so truthfully. Because Okafor isn't much of an impressive scorer considering his stats lately. He is quite young though but Milan need more of a player who can be beneficial by scoring many goals in his first season already.

I think Leao can score more goals than Okafor comfortably this season. They could have gone for Morata for example. I think he can be more beneficial than Okafor. I think truthfully that Morata is a little overrated player but he is still a quite decent player. He can make a nice contribution with not only goals but also assists.

The rumour is said to be like Leclerc has signed a deal of 2+3 years with Ferrari. There is more to that rumour also. Sainz is also reported to be after a similar deal with Ferrari.

I wouldn't be surprised with Leclerc's signing a contract extension truthfully. But I don't think Sainz will extend his contract that long. I also expect him to go to Audi when they enter the sport officially. Sainz's current contract expires at the end of 2024 while Audi are said to be entering Formula 1 by 2026. For only the time between Sainz would continue at Ferrari I think.

Losing Benzema wasn't part of their plan this summer. Therefore they haven't made up their mind about any other solid striker yet. But the longer they wait the worse for them. Because potential good youngsters are mostly close to signing for other teams. Vlahovic can join Chelsea soon and PSG are close to seal the deal for Goncalo Ramos.

Manchester United have reached an agreement for Hojlund also. Other than these players I don't know who they would be after now. For example Lautaro Martinez was a rumour in the past but he also stated clearly that he wanted to stay at Inter.

There is a short time period left for the season to start so they had better be faster than this.
