1381  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1300 GH/s] EMC: 0 Fee/PPS/DGM/Merged Mining/PayPal Payout/SMS/Yubikey/More on: August 03, 2012, 10:11:59 PM
You have the option of either DGM or PPS. If you click the "My Workers"->"Manage" you can then adjust the payout method you prefer for each worker.

Also on this page you can set the time in minutes you prefer to be alerted after that worker has failed to send work for this specified amount of time. The alerts can be by txt message or email, these options are enabled/disabled on the "Account" page, down at the bottom of the left column under where it says "Email / SMS Events"

Sweet!  Got me worried when I saw PPS up top there.  Now I will ignore that value and enjoy my DGM!  Smiley

I do not believe this estimate includes the namecoin, but I could be wrong. On the Block Stats page if you look just above where it says "MY Earnings", in red it says "Namecoin Block History", click that and it switches over to the namecoin block stats page.

kk thanks for this, I set it to automatically pay me my NMC as BTC every 2 NMC Smiley

No differences, all same port #8337. Not sure if Inaba has a recomendation based on current traffic, haven't seen him state anything like that recently. He is most always on top of things so when something comes up its usually back to normal by the time you can ask about it or tell about it.

us2 it is!

look at the greens, keep the complaints coming its working

1384  Other / Off-topic / Re: Nefario's takes on BC role in Bitcoinica = WTF on: August 03, 2012, 09:52:14 PM
I moved the positive ones too. There 8 or 9 threads about bitcoinica, a service, in bitcoin discussion. I've left them until now but it's getting out of hand. I left the ones that actually have information about what's going on.

And complaining about someone else's opinion is pretty off topic  Wink.
Maybe we need a Bitcoinica flame subcategory?

& a whole thread created from a reply on another thread?  why not just add it to that thread?

Your service has the same name as my bitcoin mafia RPG... luckily i'm just in the process of changing the name anyway.

I signed up to your service, looks interesting!

Suggestion: on signup, you should make the field 'bitcoin id' more easily understood, call it a wallet address or something!

wow, that's quite the domain he's sitting on..

i thought you photoshopped the picture there, especially the "let us exchange profit togather here."  that's comical.  i'm glad they typo that so its easy for aimless noobs to hopefully figure out that it's not the real site.

1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Point for Bitcoin! Point for Linux! And point for Ubuntu!! on: August 02, 2012, 05:18:13 PM
Hi!

I'll make a new version of this guide, using only GUI.

Best!
Thiago

We need a client that DOESN'T NEED A GUIDE.  The existence of a guide indicates the lack of a user-friendly client.

Most people who would need a guide are using Windows, and the Windows client doesn't need a guide it's so easy to install!
