They're buying instead of dumping when the markets reopened. Not so much what we did but more a statement as to where most people see it going. At this point bholzer is going to make sure the wallet it stable, nothing more. We have to find a dev now, until then everything else is speculation and dreams.

Bitmain has a proven track record of shipping on multiple generations of miners. I wouldn't hesitate preordering from them as sirsmokesalot pointed out, they're most likely already in the final assembly stage.

Glad to see the support and some progress being made. I just have one request, any dev(s) that take over from bholzer be thoroughly vetted and be required to have a public profile. Dogecoin was created as a joke but has become one of the most popular cryptos in history. I feel a big part of that is due to the dev who didn't hide. This I think is vital for any altcoin if they want to be accepted in the mainstream and not be branded as a P&D coin.

This could be the opportunity to help spearhead transparency as a feature of a coin and make it a requirement for any altcoin to be successful. I think we're all getting sick of these P&D coins and I feel this is the best way to shift the paradigm in favor of the people instead of a shadowy central figure that has to be trusted on blind faith.

Oh yeah, these delays are all the customers fault.    I recall the LCD being part of the miner when I ordered back in December. Conveniently enough the renders have been removed from the gallery already.

It's simple really. Minersource is subject to lawsuits since they're in the US. If they go down because of BA, no other reseller will ever touch them.

Any word on the power cords bobsag? They should have arrived right behind the miners if they shipped within a day or two from them... or was this one of the "We'll ship them next week" situations with the cords? I seriously don't understand this delay. People should be getting their tracking numbers today, you've had a day to test them now.

IPO is a bad idea if there is anything left to give out, which it sounds like there isn't. Once the coins are gone there is no incentive for the dev to stick around.

I like how BA hasn't bothered to lower the price of their miners even as other manufacturers drop their prices and release new miners. $373 for 100gh was barely a good deal back in December. I sense it's just another way of them manipulating their compensation. I just can't see anyone buying those in the last month thinking it's a good deal. Maybe that's why they don't want to talk compensation, they probably haven't had any more money roll in since they got people to pre-order their compensation power supplies.

No money coming in means no money to build compensation units. If they lower the price to get more people to buy in then their compensation numbers go up even higher as they promised to send extra hashing power if they lowered the price.

The white paper isn't some major milestone event by any means. People have been putting way too much emphasis on it. It's basically a glorified outline of the purpose of the coin and it's intended use. Now if the devs stick with and do what they state in the white paper, that will bring people in to invest.

FFS, if they get rid of the premine the trolls win, and it'll make the dev's look like they had bad intentions all along and only did it to save face. A better proposal is to use some of it to hire a professional writer to proof-read the final release of the white paper as we all know it's going to be scrutinized for every typo and run on sentence by said FUD'ers.

The simplest answer is usually the correct one. I don't believe for one second that BA isn't mining while they "test" the units. They've had working hash boards for a few weeks now and seem to have breakthroughs at convenient times that delay shipments so they can apply said breakthrough.

I was just thinking about that. They won't tell us anything for fear someone might try to intercept the delivery.  I'm sure Maybe they'll let us know on Friday.
