Is it possible to add a variable reward system based on the network hashrate? Similar to the difficulty, the reward could be larger (starting at 50 coins and going all the way to 100 coins) is the network hashrate is bigger then a given value..
e.g.
0-10MHs => 50 coins per block 10-20MHs => 55 coins per block ... >100MHs => 100 coins
This way miners would likely try attract more miners in order to try to maximize their gains...
Please enlighten me how will you do this , and apply it. Without messing up the coin for real. are you asking conceptually speaking or programatically? Darkcoin has a reward scheme just the opposite. The higher the difficulty becomes the reward is lowered down to a minimum of 5. I'd imagine you could look at the code for that to get an idea how something like that works.

I ran the checkwallet and repairwallet commands and got the following output for both.
"wallet check passed" : true
The blocks are still showing ?'s.
What's everyone using for addnodes?

I'm having some issues as well. I've got the latest version 0.7.6, deleted everything but my wallet.dat. The wallet syncs, however, I've got a bunch of mined blocks still showing ?'s from the 10th and 11th but nothing since. Is there still a fork going on? Current block my wallet is showing 5838.

Some thing is up with your wallet I think mate. Mine is showing POS block # 11448.
I've been getting POS deposits steady since I minded my first coins. Though I feel like maturity of my coins isn't working. Only half of my coins will stake, when I know they are all over 12 hours old by now.?
Heh, user error. I'm in the wrong thread.

Now that I know the X-3 will hash with just a single dual hashing board plugged into it, why not offer an option to the X-1 customers of getting half an X-3 with the equivalent number of boards to match our X-1 order? Additionally you could then offer upgrade packages to add more hash boards to the X-3 at a later date.
I also noticed in the pictures that it's running with an RPi, does that mean the custom controller isn't finished yet?
That might be a logistical nightmare at this point, good idea if they took orders like this from the start. Edit: Plus it might slow down the production of the units with each unit getting a different number of boards. I don't see BA setting up a robot to install the finished hash boards into the case. That'll likely be handled by people who can look at the order to know how many boards to install. It'll be a lot easier than the nightmare of splitting the earned BTC they plan on divvying out to the X-1 orders as they hash on their datacenter until they ship our units.

Interesting idea, though you'd probably lose a lot of efficiency to the PSU overhead, no? Also, cheers to BA for getting .75w/gh at 100gh/s. That is, after all, the specifications originally advertised, and the ones we all bought into. bobsag - thanks for the information. safe travels and once again much gratitude for making the trip. The PSUs will only put out what the components need. In fact, most PSUs are at their peak efficiency around 60-70% load.

To all the haterz, Dogecoin was created as a joke, the dev didn't take it seriously. Look where it is now.

Everyone is forgetting how new the crypto world is. It's going to be years before all the markets are stable, not weeks or months. Don't focus on the price it's irrelevant if there aren't people using it. This ATM is the first step in getting some of the billions of dollars flowing through the coin and getting people to actually use the coin at a brick and mortar store. Outside of Bitcoin, I can't really think of any other alts that can make this claim.

I'll post this here too. I'm gonna be disappointed if the shibe pug wins the contest, it reminds me of Kittehcoin. Dogecoin already has the cute factor market share, we need something else.

I couldn't find info about the maximum amount of Globes? Can anyone tell me how many coins are in total?
I thought I remember it saying 64 million on the first page, but I'm probably wrong.

What happened to all the votes on mintpal?
yeah, we had way more than 1300, right? COLLUSION! we had around 7000 I'll send em a message to ask what happened It's correct, you have to read the Mintpal updates "Small change to voting, now allowing just one vote per hour, but also divided the votes by 5 and increased cost of payment votes 5 times." TRL got divided by 5, but so did everyone else. That's the ultimate scam right there, charging people to get their coin added on top of the fees they get on all the trades.

Hi,
I really appreciate your politeness. My address is Ba7ZFR92vt4PLv3j4xSN3SsfDvoADA6LdS I feel sad about situation of iCoin, I'm voting at Mintpal as often as I can
Does anybody have an idea how to promote iCoin to world?
Thanks S.
Hi snipey, coins have been sent back. Maybe we can still do something about the coin. Lets keep the discussion open. Bitcointalk no longer allows giveaways does it?, is there a new active spot where we could host a big giveaway. Not much, like 50 coins per person. Its more about getting the name out.... LOTS of people will download the clients just for the 50 coins... at least that is the way it use to be. Let say we got even just 10,000 coins (which a few people were willing to dish out) that would be enough to get 200 people with a little bit. I can contribute some to this if we were to do a giveaway somewhere. It doesn't really matter what exchange you are on, or how great your features are... if you do not have a community behind you no one will buy/sell your coin unfortunately. I've seen a few feel like getting on cryptsy for example would save their coin, but it did nothing for trading volumes or interest in the coin. Poloniex has a giveaway page now. You can either give people coins outright or set it up to give a % bonus of coins purchased on the exchange. https://www.poloniex.com/giveawaysEdit: I guess we need to get listed there first. Maybe talk to the admins and see if we can't get some sort of marketing blitz around getting it added. We need to blast it out there that the premine is gone. Edit 2: I'll also throw in some ICN toward the giveaway.

I think that the coin have a really high potential to succeed! Today it was a very nice Pump and Dump of 175%, and its before the Airdrop! We have just to imagine, what chaos will be after the Airdrop!
If a sockpuppet account dumps in the forest, will anybody hear it ? Its gonna be ugly.. I think some perspective is in order. As it stands: 31,145,301.6 BCC in the airdrop / ~935 current users = 33,310.48 BCC each Assuming the wall at 1 satoshi isn't fake, Poloniex buy orders right now equal 56,103,093.22 BCC Yes there will be people dumping but the initial dump should go pretty quick. I'm sure a good portion of those getting the airdrop will be holding their share.

I updated my wallet and it ran fine for about a day and a half. Now it errors out after less than a minute and deleting everything from the %appdata% folder doesn't work anymore. POS is useless if the wallet won't stay open.

27MH Network Hash Rate, what the shits is going on? Lulz!
Only 2 things I can think of: a) Big farm doing some speculative mining while the diff is low b) Someone's trying to kill the coin. Bring in massive GH and leave once the diff re-targets, leaving everyone else stuck - BTW, what diff algo are you using with Trollcoin?

did anyone else mine BCC on dedicatedpools till the end of the POW blocks and has now stopped recieving payouts? dedicatedpool was victim to a pretty big DDoS attack yesterday and after mitigating the issue, their BCC wallet stopped getting confirmations thus freezing any further payouts, while the competing pool, pools-of-honor is still recieving confirmations for those last blocks mined before POS ( http://107.170.153.128/BCC/public/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks ). pools-of-honor has confirmations up to block 11475 while dedicatedpool is still stuck at 11451 showing unconfirmed and still missing 3 confirmations to pay out that block and the remaining few. i asked the dedicatedpool admin to check what the problem is or even restart the wallet, but he simply replied: You cannot mine BCC anymore, it's PoS only now and how are we supposed to get those coins we mined? or why is the other pool getting confirmations? or even, how will the coin keep functioning if according to dedicatedpool admin, not getting any more confirmations in the pool's wallet is ok? i already bothered him many times yesterday to simply get ignored, if anyone else has frozen coins in the pool please bump him about the issue, he might actually give it a look. I've got about 18k stuck in there. I'll shoot them an email after work.
