141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO jump up when airdrop announced on: February 26, 2018, 11:49:19 PM
NEO’s uptake has increased steadily as has its price and market valuation. This trend is expected to be kept up in 2018 and investors are lining up to take advantage of this in 2018. NEO is a superior cryptocurrency with an exceptional blockchain platform .......NEO’s association with Onchain is one of the reasons many investors foresee a very bright future for NEO. While some continue to confuse the two, they are two distinct entities with each catering to its niche market. Onchain is an independent entity that is venture-backed and that help business enterprises incorporate blockchain technology into their operations. Onchain was a spinoff from NEO when the developers realized that they needed to separate the digital currency from the blockchain development team. Onchain has developed an architecture for enterprise blockchain solution known as DNA and it has worked with many businesses to unveil the benefits of the blockchain platform. The growth of Onchain has however aided the course for NEO as it creates extra traction and interest from enterprises as well as its clients.
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 26, 2018, 11:41:17 PM
A word of caution to all the people who think you can get rich by Pump and dump groups, Please don't part and just observe. Look at the price of the coin when you’re notified of the coin they’re choosing. If you find that you’re notified after it already surged and you find that a small part of the group is buying it up before hand and leading others to hold bag,  then your are one of the people in the lower category of the PnD group. People will use you to rise the pumping price and trap you while the top memebrrs of the group dumps their coins keeping you stranded at an ATH price. By then the damage is already done.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain the MEW donations on: February 26, 2018, 05:21:15 PM
The MEW’s mission is to promote and support Ethereum platform and base layer research, development and education to bring decentralized protocols and tools to the world that empower developers to produce next generation decentralized applications and together build a more globally accessible, more free and more trustworthy Internet
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im afraid of Hackers/Scammers! on: February 26, 2018, 05:18:22 PM
It's generally a good idea to store your Bitcoins in a wallet where you control the private keys, rather than on an exchange where they control the private keys and could go out of business or be lost. But different wallets offer different levels of protection. And different exchanges offer different levels of protection. Some wallets include peer-to-peer trading functionality today. And, in the future, some exchanges will offer decentralized trading so that you can trade directly from your wallet and private keys that you control.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: February 26, 2018, 05:15:58 PM
There are several indications that the crypto ecosystem could be in the midst of a massive bubble. The situation has repeatedly been compared to the Dot-com bubble, and in some cases, the similarities are plain to see. Driven by the excitement of a new, potentially revolutionary technology, investors ponied up millions in funding to companies that promised the sky but largely failed to deliver anything.
146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold? on: February 26, 2018, 05:11:03 PM
But Bitcoin may be a great bet long-term if Bitcoin replaces gold. Gold has a market cap of roughly $7.7 trillion. As the saying goes, be fearful when others are greedy. And vice versa. The total market cap of all cryptocurrencies was $7.13 billion on January 1, 2016. Now it’s about $300 billion
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: February 26, 2018, 05:04:57 PM
Yes. TA is basically a research technique that helps you identify trading opportunities in market based on the actions of market participants. The actions of markets participants can be visualised by means of a stock chart.Over time, patterns are formed within these charts and each pattern conveys a certain message. So TA basically helps you develop a point of view based on this pattern and helps you to define a trade by considering price at which one should buy and sell stocks.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: February 26, 2018, 05:01:41 PM
Bitcoin is the leader of the pack, and Satoshi a revolutionary inventor, but Bitcoin’s market share will continue to lower, as more and more coins appear. Don’t read this wrong, Bitcoin’s price will go up because the whole market will grow, but of course newer coins are cheaper, riskier to invest in, but can provide outrageous growths, while Bitcoin is more stable, but less profitable
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Come Back? on: February 26, 2018, 04:59:30 PM
We have all seen promises of huge profits if you hand over your Bitcoin or Ethereum to a third party. Even I fell victim to a few of these schemes early on in my crypto currency journey. Looking back I would not take the same path. I have learned over the last four years that the best path to take with my crypto currency is to hold it in my hands.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: February 26, 2018, 04:55:57 PM
While bitcoin was designed to function as a peer to peer electronic payment system, ethereum was designed for smart contracts that execute when specific conditions are met. Nerayoff, who helped craft token sales for the ethereum project, said businesses in an increasingly wide variety of industries are starting to take note of what value Ethereum's protocol could offer them. Increased projects built on the cryptocurrency could trigger a "flippening" in 2018, in which ethereum overtakes bitcoin.
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to trade? Why? on: February 26, 2018, 04:53:24 PM
Binance has often been praised for its wide variety of support coins. Traders can use the platform for multiple digital currencies, including, but not limited to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, EOS, Dash, LiteCoin, NEO, GAS, Zcash, Dash, Ripple and more. As mentioned before, Binance also supports numerous tokens, as part of ICO listings. With this in mind, traders can use the platform to trade these tokens for a profit as well
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: February 26, 2018, 04:36:04 PM
Anyone who says NEO isn't a risky investment is lying or fooled by the Hype train. NEO does, however, have a huge potential to be a very profitable investment. I consider it to be one of the riskier coins in my portfolio, but I believe in the tech and will continue to support the project. A few reasons why it could be an amazing investment:

-First Chinese blockchain, Chinese tend to favor their own tech over Western tech (see Alibaba vs Amazon)
-Smart Contracts similar to ethereum but without having to learn a new coding Language. Smart contracts can currently be written in C# and Java
-NEO's automatically generate GAS when they are in your wallet. GAS can also be very valuable in the future.

Go for Neo !
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: futures ETH on: February 26, 2018, 04:31:33 PM
Coins such as bitcoin and Ripple that were all over the media in December for performing so well have lost almost half their value. But amidst all this, there are two coins that have held their ground, or experienced minimal value losses. Those coins are Ethereum (ETH) and NEO (NEO). Their ability to hold their value in a turbulent market is not a fluke, but rather a clear indicator of the future of the crypto market, and that’s smart contracts.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum Classic's existance necessary? on: February 20, 2018, 06:14:29 AM
The main problem with the ETC is the lack of backward compatibility with the Ethereum Hard Fork. All the heavyweights of the Ethereum community have moved on to the new chain, which means that anyone who is part of the ETC won’t be able to access any of the updates done by the ETH. The perfect example is ETH’s move from Proof Of Work (PoW) To Proof of Stake (PoS). ETC won’t be able to implement that because their software simply doesn’t allow the use of updates.
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining SCAM - Possible to steal BTC from my wallet? on: February 20, 2018, 06:10:50 AM
Cloud mining is risky as there are plenty of ponzi schemes doubling up as mining companies. Do not invest your money into just about any site that has the words cloud mining on it
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Keep Track of Gains? on: February 20, 2018, 06:05:19 AM
The more money there is in the account, the easier it is to trade. If you lose $10 when you have $1,000 in your account, you will not be particularly upset and will continue as planned. But if there is only $50 in your account, this could be unsettling and lead to mistakes and loss of the entire account. Not to mention the fact that in the first case there are 100 attempts to correct the situation, and in the second - only 4. It's simple arithmetic.Determine your maximum losses per day. For example, 15% of your capital. Once you reach the limit, stop trading no matter how "tasty" the situation on the market seems. Even if you think you see the trade of the century! Such premonitions are really mirages.
