141  Economy / Economics / Re: When the tide goes out on: January 08, 2019, 08:44:19 PM
Thank you and I will absorb this.

I have been meaning to sell some of my coins and tokens for they are really in a bad shape by now.
Some says it aint a wise move but I think there is a one chance that I could improve.
Stepping up is difficult task for it is scary with what ifs.

Maybe I should really sell for a better performing coin and just ride the wave rather than staying with coins that aint going to move anymore.
Love playing with the underdogs but it is a new year so changes should be made.

I made your own reasoning and I sold tokens of projects that I think do not have a bright future, even if I am at loss and I put the money in projects that I believe more.

When the market will start to rise again, many projects will not go up because they will probably fail, while the good ones will.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our future with Crypto on: January 08, 2019, 08:35:14 PM
Crypto in the future will become popular and will be accepted in many groups to use as a payment method.
In my opinion we will be having a great future with cryptocurrencies. This is because cryptocurrencies have a lot more advanatages than the normal fiat currency.Cryptos are an easy way to earn a lot of money and that too in a short period of time. One can transfer any amounts of money and in no time unlike in normal transactions.Investments in cryptocurrencies are also very profitable.People are preferring digital currency now a days.

I agree. Maybe people are still not preferring digital currency at the moment, since just a small portion of the population is active in this market, but I'm confident more and more people in the future will be involved. As you say, cryptocurrency have many advantages respect to fiat currencies  Wink
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: January...The Next Few Weeks Will Be Crucial on: January 06, 2019, 09:44:11 PM
We are aware that the coin market is full of uncertainties but this is going to be a crucial year for Bitcoin, considering the upcoming decision on ETF. We are not even certain that prices have settled to rock bottom yet and folks been asking my views. To me, we really can't know for certain until regulators such as SEC make their stance known by this month. We're sure that a negative decision could have Bitcopin trade as low as below $3000, but that's really good news because it's going to be the very worst we experience thais year. https://cryptoinfowatch.com/bitcoin-news-today-the-obstacles-to-mainstream-adoption/

Yes, I agree. We still don't know basically if we reached the bottom of the market, although I think, even if the market starts to lose again, we are not far from it.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and BTC bottom 2019 on: January 05, 2019, 08:26:48 PM
2019 it will be a year of crypto increase, and maybe we are low for BTC and ETH  Smiley

I would like to share your own optimism, but we do not really know if the market has yet reached its bottom.

On the contrary, I think it's difficult to predict the market at the moment, even if I remain very bullish on cryptos in the long term.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: January 05, 2019, 08:24:06 PM
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

The crypto market is now so risky that I would only put it in bitcoin and ethereum.

Of the other altcoins, we do not know which ones will survive in 2 years from now. Better safe than sorry! And also with bitcoin and ethereum, we are still talking about very risky investments...
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 05, 2019, 07:32:55 PM
There have been many other falls in prices in the past and bitcoin has always recovered.

Development and technology are continuing to take giant steps. We must be optimistic about it and allow time for the market to recover.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Bloody Hard to Buy Crypto? on: January 05, 2019, 07:28:59 PM
Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are becoming more accepted these days.

Why then, is it so bloody hard for the average person to learn where to buy it?  Is it because it's considered "dirty money?"

Your opinion?

Bitcoin it'a not dirty money and personally, I don't find it difficult to buy cryptos. The only thing that you must be careful to protect them in the proper way since there have been many people who lost them for thefts and hacks. It's always useful to spend some time learning before.

149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade without id verification? on: January 04, 2019, 09:15:10 PM
hi i was just wondering if there where any crypto exchanges that dont require lots of verification i registered with coinbase and within an hour i was getting phone calls soliciting me with services is there any exchanges that just let you email verify like bitmex does and lets you trade between altcoins? thanks

Definitely Binance, where you can trade and withdraw up to 2 Bitcoin per day without KYC. You could also try a decentralized exchange, like Idex, where of course you don't need KYC.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: January 04, 2019, 09:11:43 PM
I think most people have already sold bitcoin which bought it at a price of $ 1000 per coin. Most likely it is sold by people who bought it more expensive and can not withstand the drawdown. Most people now think how to buy it at a good price but no one knows what the price for it is favorable. Now bitcoin has stabilized and there are only two scenarios: up or down.

Yeah, I agree. It is difficult to predict the market at this moment. However, I think many people who bought Bitcoin at $ 1000 (or around this price) have already sold during the last month, when the price seemed to go below $ 3000.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC defeated in 2019? on: January 04, 2019, 08:44:32 PM
Crypto currency seems to cold down these days and many people have lost faith in the past few months...

People find most token are fake indeed, what they have was just a whitepaper.

I think most of them will die in the next year.

But what about Bitcoin?

As the first and the most influential one, Bitcoin is still weak with numerous restrictions.

Maybe it will fall into the ground due to the political factors, or beaten by other token which is better.

 Huh

I have to disagree with that. There are no coins currently on the market that have more potential than Bitcoin right now. I'm not saying that this is impossible to happen, but that at least at the moment this "new king" is not born yet!
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to buy after ICO because price may drop? on: January 04, 2019, 08:40:33 PM
There are some people who have this strategy, especially now that we are in a bearish phase of the market.

After having identified a good project that has potential, they expect a price drop after the listing and then buy at lower prices than the ICO ones. It is a strategy that sometimes, especially in a bearish market, can give good profits when the market will start to be bullish again  Wink
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin without internet on: January 04, 2019, 08:34:10 PM
Blockstream Satellite Now Means Most Of The World Can Use Bitcoin Without Internet. What's your opinion on this one? Do you see it as progress or not? Huh

I think it is great progress. People will be able, in the near future, to use and make transactions with Bitcoin also in those countries and in those areas around the globe where there is a lack of internet connection or it is unstable.
154  Local / Alt-Currencies (Italiano) / Re: Security Token Offerings (STO) - Ovvero le ICO regolamentate. on: January 04, 2019, 02:49:32 AM

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 03, 2019, 04:30:06 PM
see good news about eth which always appears every day, some people think that eth will go up to 1000 usd, but will this happen?
because after all eth is the strongest coin after BTC, and I believe that.
and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc.

I do not think it's possible to go back now to such a high price level in a market that is still fundamentally bearish, but in the future, it can be ...
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: January 03, 2019, 04:21:35 PM
Most of the people said in this board there will be no bull run in the late of 2018 and there is a high probability that bull run comes in mid-2019. What's your thought about it?

2018 is over and there was no bull run as many had expected. Personally, I agree that we will not see a substantial market recovery until the second half of 2019...
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yearly All Time Lows For BTC on: January 03, 2019, 04:25:19 AM
2012 - $4
2013 - $65
2014 - $200
2015 - $185
2016 - $365
2017 - $780
2018 - $3200

Puts a lot into perspective.

Yes, this makes us understand how, despite the heavy bearish market we experienced last year, the price of bitcoin has steadily increased over the years ...
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 03, 2019, 03:57:49 AM
There is no gainsaying about this, that Ethereum is truly the king of all altcoins.

Ever since XRP took over the 2nd position, i knew it was not going to last. The updates that were being announced were just taking profits.

Inasmuch as cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is concerned, decentralization will always take the lead, because that was the purpose of creating blockchain.

This is just the beginning. The Bakkt approval has not yet been lunched, other proposed milestones have not started and this is happening (eth on position 2).

What if the updates are eventually integrated, we might see ethereum at 0.05 BTC per ETH.

I still believe that Ethereum is the altcoin with the most potential, but to continue to be a valuable cryptocurrency, scalability issues must be addressed and solved in the future, otherwise, I think it will never reach again its previous ATH.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why are you afraid of buying bitcoin? on: January 03, 2019, 03:53:45 AM
Is one of those who is afraid of buying during the crypto crisis on the market or you are someone who is willing to take risks and believe that this crisis is an opportunity to make big profits.

If someone is afraid to take risks in any business or business then you cannot do it. Even though the price of bitcoin is low now I see it as an opportunity to invest in it because we have seen a similar crisis in previous years but in the end it was very noble. I really believe it won't collapse but will soon experience an upward trend.
What do you think on the market today.

I think people who really believe in the technology and who have a long-term view are not afraid of buying bitcoin right now, although the market sentiment is still bearish.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: January 03, 2019, 03:51:39 AM
I think that having fast transactions (so no scalability issues) and also cheap ones is a must if we want for Bitcoin to reach mass adoption. During the end of the 2017 boom, the average cost for a transaction reached impractical prices...
