1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: March 01, 2019, 12:36:04 PM
I'm trying to save some cash right now and waiting for the right time to invest in markets- Not necessarily limited to crypto.
Good time to invest is when market is down. If you invest when market recovers and prices go up you may experience dump and then you won't be able to sell it and make profit.
Don't wait too long you might miss the train.

I agree. Investing when the market is down let you buy assets at a cheaper price... the problem is that you cannot know how much the market will go down.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your daily crypto fix from? on: March 01, 2019, 12:30:38 PM
Guys, what do you watch and listen to learn more about crypto and blockchain?

Please give me your favorite youtube channels and podcasts

I wouldn't rely a lot on youtube channel to get crypto news. People who have youtube channels are usually in conflict of interests about what they say, because many times they are paid to shill something. And if you look at the past about the predictions of the so-called influencers, you can see they were wrong most of the times.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should we be expecting a bull run? on: March 01, 2019, 12:26:22 PM
Maybe.. we are already in a bull trend. A weak bull trend. Maybe the market recovers slowly with time... But I don't expect a high like begins of 2018. previously the market tried to recover twice. but failed. I don't have many hopes. but believes in it will recover.

I believe too that the market will recover, but I don't believe it will happen anytime soon. In my opinion, it is more likely to happen in 2020...
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got burned! goodbye easy money! on: March 01, 2019, 11:58:28 AM
I understand that the patience of many investors will be rewarded. But for a beginner it is very difficult to understand all this. Darkness has long been in our hearts and it seems that there is no hope left, but it means that soon the bulls will return to the market and the cryptocurrency market will again be in green color.

I agree. One of the most difficult things, when you are investing, is patience.

Warren Buffet said in the past, speaking about the stock market:

"The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient."

I think that the crypto market is the same.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: why are you sure the bitcoin will be make economic freedom? on: March 01, 2019, 11:53:24 AM
lately, I found most articles the Bitcoin can make the economy more freedom and it will replace traditional financial institutions like banks etc. but what I have seen in the last few years is almost all of the cryptocurrency controlled by the crypto exchange and some related industries about blockchain, so this what is called freedom (most people only think they can print money easily and quickly) ?

Freedom is first of all, in my opinion, being the real owner of your money (if you control your private keys) and not having to rely on a third party (like a bank) to use your money. With bitcoin, you can directly send it to any other user in the world, easily and with just a little fee.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1000 Bitcoin: The World's Most Expensive Prius on: March 01, 2019, 11:49:52 AM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfVndN2kbCA

Here is a video of a guy who bought Toyota Prius back in 2013 with 1000 BTC. If you could have waited for a bit, specially in 2017, we could have been a Lambo. Although in the video you will see the Prius side by side with his Lambo so I think this guy really did make a lot of money in bitcoin in 2017 as well. He also talk about the lessons he learn from investing in bitcoin.  Grin

Well, also the guy who bought two pizzas with 10,000  bitcoin back in 2010 could have said the same thing "If I had waited 2017..."!!!  Wink

But if everyone waits for a future increase in the price of bitcoin, instead of using it to buy things, no one will ever use bitcoin and everyone will just sit and wait to gain more...
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins with huge ICO price on: February 27, 2019, 09:48:34 PM
What is your take on new tokens with unnecessarily large ICO prices? Scam or Genuine?

With such prices, their ICO usually takes a lot of time and people still invest, is there a possibility of it being a good project because I just stumbled on one now with with current ICO price of $2.74 and they intend on increasing it in the future

Just looking at the price is not a good measure to understand if a project is a scam or not. However, when the price is unnecessarily high, I usually stay away, since the market is still bearish and a dump at the listing it's more likely.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market cap is the only thing what we should care about. on: February 27, 2019, 09:45:12 PM
Hi, I have just realized, that crypto was really overvalued in 2017 and probably we will not see these prices again.

Look for example on Ethereum: https://coincheckup.com/coins/ethereum/predictions - Ethereum ATH price was 1500USD it equals 4% of all M1 money in the world, that is lot of money!

Or people think that Bitcoin can reach 100,000USD - it equals 10% of all M1 money in the world.

Don´t you think that the hype of crypto is over?

The market cap estimate does not actually show all the money that entered the market. It only indicates the value that the coin would have if all the circulating supply was sold at market price at a given time (which is unattainable, because when a lot of people decide to sell the price will collapse). So a relatively small amount of money is enough to raise prices and therefore the market cap.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Paints a Rosy Picture on: February 27, 2019, 09:40:19 PM
Changpeng Zhao says that the crypto space is in a better place than in 2018.

Is he reporting on the green shoots of recovery, or is this hot air intended to keep his exchange solvent?

https://cryptomenow.com/ceo-of-worlds-largest-crypto-exchange-industry-is-much-healthier-than-last-year/

Very hard to know. But I agree with the fact that the market is getting better in comparison to 2018. There is a lot of good news in the space. Sooner or later the market will recover, but it is impossible to know when, in my opinion.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: February 27, 2019, 09:36:19 PM
there are so many new projects around. people gets to choose which platform that is favorable to them and trade on it. the disadvantage is that it might be a scam exchange or it could be hacked if security is flawed. the benefits of having many exchanges is the projects should have varieties to choose from.

Yes, more exchanges mean a greater variety to chose from, but it also means a decreased liquidity and trading volume, since that particular coin can be traded in many exchanges and so everyone has less trading operations...
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: February 27, 2019, 09:29:30 PM
Low price of Bitcoins will attract new people to join the rally, now that a lot more people can afford to buy a ''Full Bitcoin''
In my own personal opinion, bitcoin in a low price can really be good for people who would like to buy bitcoin for the first time becayse they could buy it in a more cheaper price, but it will be much better if after they buy it bitcoin would raise its price.

For sure investors who believe in the future of Bitcoin can buy it now at a cheaper price. There are still people who are probably holding who bought at $15.000 - $19.000 and are waiting for the market to recover. Now it is possible to buy 80% cheaper from ATH...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Summary about ICOs in 2018 on: February 26, 2019, 08:56:22 PM
It is clear that the numbers are close to the truth. It seems that the increase in 2017 influenced in 2018's ICOs.  Bitcoin manages the market as well as ICOs, and if 2019 continues like that, most ICOs will not reach the softcap. The new statistics, the numbers will be fuller...

Yes. It is obvious to everyone that interest in ICO is drastically falling ... even though there are still some interesting projects also in this period.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 26, 2019, 08:53:33 PM
Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM

Quote
One of the largest banks in the Philippines is reportedly launching a two-way cryptocurrency ATM that is in compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ specifications. In the Philippines, the central bank regulates cryptocurrencies “when used for delivery of financial services, particularly, for payments and remittances.”

https://news.bitcoin.com/union-bank-philippines-cryptocurrency-atm/

Another compelling moved that the Philippines is really working hard and getting closer to adopt bitcoin as one of the biggest bank in the country is launching a crypto ATM. Union Bank seems to be spearheading this, and as far as I can remember this bank is one of the first if not the first to integrate Paypal as well in the country. So let's see how it goes.

It's a big thing that a bank itself is launching a Bitcoin ATM... This is just one of the actual news which let me think that the engines for cryptocurrencies are warming up for a new cycle sooner or later.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: February 25, 2019, 03:07:55 PM
Crypto is heading a good future. It has high potential in changing our financial landscape. It's a wise decision to invest in it. But of course, you shouldn't invest all your savings in it. That's against the law of investment to do so. Invest a part of it in crypto, a part in other type of investment, and most importantly, a part in savings. You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. More so, invest only what you can afford to lose, especially in crypto which is highly volatile.

I agree and I believe in a good future for cryptocurrencies in general. A lot of good news in the space recently. However, following the golden rule for risky investments ("invest only what you can afford to lose) it's a must.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scammers now in telegram on: February 25, 2019, 03:02:33 PM
I have seen some new frauds recently on the telegram. They chose telegram as the medium for scamming. They stay in some active groups and find the target. They also once targeted me. They gave me the various link by personal message. And after clicking on the link the link told me to create an account. And if I want to do create an account they will want the wallet's private key. So I think they are a Very terrible scammer. We should be safe from them. Otherwise, we will lose all our cryptocurrency. They send me so many messages that I stopped using telegram for them. Besides, there are many scam bots in the telegram. Those bots never give payment. So I think it's not safe to earn in the telegram. It is best to use it as a communication medium.

Yes, Telegram is probably the most used Social by scammers. They targeted me more than once. But you can simply block and report a user who is sending you private messages. It's easy and he won't be able to contact you anymore.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: February 24, 2019, 07:02:59 PM
how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of.your token.is hitting down ..? in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
thanks in.advance..

Until you sell, in reality, you haven't lost anything. If you think some of the coins you have invested in are projects with potential, in my opinion, better to keep them until the market recovers.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: One small step for Bitcoin one giant leap for Crypto on: February 24, 2019, 06:46:13 PM
Hold your horses, it is not simple as that. Whatever the reason is a big good news for us who bought at ATH. I think saw an article about Samsung's new smartphone being able to hold crypto currency private keys. Well it shows that the bigger companies are the ones we need in order to push the price back again to where it belongs when it was 2017 DEC.

The Samsung phone that can safely store cryptos it is good news in my opinion, because when big companies that have great visibility as Samsung do something inherent cryptocurrencies, they help to give greater visibility about bitcoin and other alts to the general public.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: February 23, 2019, 08:34:50 PM
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?

In my opinion both strategies are valuable, and so it is useful to use a part of your funds to search for greater profits buying assets that look weak in the market, but also keep a part in strong projects. In my opinion, a good diversification is very important for a successful portfolio.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: February 23, 2019, 08:20:00 PM
There is no way everyone will has own currency.

This is probably true in my opinion. While the market will develop in the future, I think there will be just a few winners and so not so many cryptocurrencies...
20  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: ICO. Si fanno davvero i soldi? on: February 23, 2019, 07:46:34 PM
Come già detto, sei arrivato tardi.
