141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the good the bad and the future on: March 11, 2015, 01:45:04 PM
Nice visual pretty basic but you are helping new people understand a little more which is good.
I have a few questions being that Bitcoin is for everyone do you believe that it is bad that criminals use it? Criminals will use any currency the most popular being the USD.

There is more than 11 million in circulation we could not have lost close to 3million already  Huh

Great so this is the guy Chris Dixon for the multiple threads that bitcoin is going to intergalactic space i mean i believe in Bitcoin but 100,000.

Also an emerging technology does not make it bad and if you protect your coin with a half decent amount security you should not lose a single satoshi.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 11, 2015, 01:27:17 AM
Your site is a fun way to give away some Bitcoin.
A lower % house advantage on the game would be great.

That's true  Smiley

I agree to lower % chance of house.. I discovered that in betting 3x, the chance of members is below 30% Chance.

We could always do with a lower house edge but we won't get it they need to make their bit to  Tongue

It is a good site and i will continue to have a flutter now and then either wasy
143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Greece threatens to release jihadis into EU!!! on: March 11, 2015, 01:21:42 AM
Things have at least gone to extreme rhetoric:

Quote
Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos warns Europe that if no bailout of its economic crisis is forthcoming, his nation will flood Europe with migrants and jihadists, providing them with papers to travel legally throughout the continent.

Kammenos said: “If Europe leaves us in the crisis, we will flood it with migrants, and it will be even worse for Berlin if in that wave of millions of economic migrants there will be some jihadists of the Islamic State, too.”

“If they strike us, we will strike them,” the official said. “We will give to migrants from everywhere the documents they need to travel in the Schengen area, so that the human wave could go straight to Berlin.” The Schengen area is passport-free.

I think the saying goes he has dug himself a hole, i mean damn what is he doing trying to blackmail Europe aha He had so much more chance just keeping his mouth shut now he may have screwed his innocent citizens because he could not keep it closed. There will be riots
144  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: March 11, 2015, 01:09:14 AM
Well i am sure it is not meant to come across quite how you perceive it i mean, the security is wack and if you are going to get hacked and lose money then you are more than likely using windows yes there are more users but that is not the point the point is give yourself the best security.

Its like a tiny little padlock on a safe, are you still using that tiny padlock on that safe.

"Are you still having regular unprotected sex with that crack whore?"

I'm not saying I'm better than you, just that I think what you're doing isn't a good idea.

You tell me where she is she left here mate she is probably back at your place now, i know your not saying your better than me but she was saying i was better Angry

Point being windows is floored like your post.

147  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: March 11, 2015, 12:45:47 AM
That's frightening.  Whenever I buy a computer that has windoze first thing I do is format the hard drive.

When you try to tell them there's a better way their eyes glaze over and they think you're trying to say you're "better than them".

Well, not necessarily.

But when people write stuff like, "People still use windows?" it definitely takes on an "I'm better than you" connotation.

Well i am sure it is not meant to come across quite how you perceive it i mean, the security is wack and if you are going to get hacked and lose money then you are more than likely using windows yes there are more users but that is not the point the point is give yourself the best security.

148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Not Making Any Money Gambling? - Earn BTC Online - $500 This Month GUARANTEED on: March 11, 2015, 12:40:59 AM
dumbest scam on here so far.. EARN 500$ BUT GIVE ME YOUR CC AND 50$ A MONTH

Wait what? You have to enter your credit card details first?

Yep. Check the thread.. There are a few screenshots.

Yeah, it's an obvious scam, any similar sites with title "XXX earn money in XXX days" like this are all scams.  Cheesy

They will deduct money from credit card every month.

Oh that's nice of him come and earn $500 dollars a month then starts taking you to the cleaners for your trouble lol

The thing is the people who would fall for this more than likely do not have much money in the bank so this is really mean if it is a scam op you should be ashamed of yourself  Angry

Has anyone fell for this yet?
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 11, 2015, 12:37:49 AM
Simple profit taking?

Make it quick Cheesy

There's certainly a bit of a dump going on right now on Bitfinex.

11,000 was a bit but not really a dump, they soon started shorting when it hit the 3's though how long do we hold this i wonder  Huh

Makes me want to take profit tonight before bed...
150  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: March 11, 2015, 12:32:07 AM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.

This is true but they know this will not happen they have created fear and fear is what has controlled and ensured people have paid taxes for 100s of years.

It is not ok for the govt to do this but people have accepted for the easy life? i dunno but when they accepted that made it ok.

Question is will it ever change?
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cannot Succeed (heres why) on: March 10, 2015, 11:42:14 PM
If one bitcoin is worth one million dollars, how is it remotely imaginable that these exchanges will not just run off with the coins?

Assuming that trade volume would be on current level, BTC-e for example would earn 15396*0,2%= 30,7BTC = over 30 millions $ of daily income. Still tempting to commit robbery?  Cheesy
But volume in single exchange couldn't be as huge as it is now, because:

- in most cases people will change some satoshis only
- world's BTC exchange volume would be dispersed on much more places and services than now, because such valuable asset surely will attract everybody's attention

I think by that time that happens the volume on many exchanges will fall massively, we may even go back to the talk of using mBTC for everything rather than whole bitcoins.

By that time i would hope we have decentralized exchanges p2p or something along them lines also we would be sure to go back to mBTC there will not be many buying up full coins for a million  Grin

Have to smile because i really cannot see them figures and that is not me being negative just the reality of the situation and no believing i could make that much money when you compere the kind of small investment to get that.

Exchanges have reason everyday to do a runner as said above but they don't so with higher price their fee's become higher = more reason to stay imo
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 10, 2015, 11:16:14 PM

Well considering that Stamp have lost 17,000 coins (and a lot of trust in the process), that seems like the least likely explanation.

they gained my trust after that.

Mine too, as it goes. Still, it seems to have done them a lot of harm.

I have to 3rd that they done the right thing when many others would have done nothing about it maybe even closed shop and ran, which is a shame but they are different and a breath of fresh air hopefully they pull it back.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ECASH]E-Money Advertising Revenue In Wallet | 8% Daily Stake for 21 days on: March 10, 2015, 11:12:22 PM
I've added an option for ECASH on the GorillaStake Signup page. I'll get it on the main page, eventually, but I'll have to move some boxes around. Sign ups, however, are now open on GorillaStake Signup Page

Wow this has come together really well bud well done on bringing this baby back from the dead, DrSpots is your new name for me  Grin

I have a super fast staking wallet geeez i have never seen anything quite like it lol
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Is Bitcoin for EVERYONE or just a new ELITE? Vote! on: March 09, 2015, 09:39:54 PM
I choose Everyone because this is my understanding of Bitcoin basic principle. To be for everyone, open and free.
I do not know who should be that Elite or New Elite - I did not understand that.

I also voted everyone because it is anyone can go and buy bitcoin most of the time whether that is p2p or on a exchange. People either do not know or choose not to care but in the end they will, of course along the way bitcoin is going to make some wealthy elite just as the internet did but it will not be many and that does not mean it is just for them either.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sub $200 by Tomorrow on: March 09, 2015, 09:34:00 PM
I would have to imagine that the op is actually sleeping right now and he is in a nightmare that is totally random and makes little to no sense. I get it buddy i have these as well now and again just pinch yourself and say aloud i am awake it was only a dream. If the buyer wanted to dump he would have just brought in the last month or 2 when it has been cheaper than the auction and then dump, not wait all that time to dump and lose money lol oh dear op wakey wakey buddy
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: March 09, 2015, 03:22:00 PM
Bitcoin has the potential to play in PayPal's league, but Bitcoin will never become a global currency. I do not believe in the moon stuff.

There is an old saying you never say never, but yes unlikely at best. It will go beyond paypal league because it is superior to paypal in every way. You must be one of the only people who do not believe in the moon  Tongue
What do you class as not believing in the moon?
157  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: March 09, 2015, 03:16:44 PM
you can try trading or faucet and try join signature camp too.

You do not need to invest in a faucet to make money and if you did would likely be a scam, trading is good but you will have to learn how to do it well and build discipline and patience not many can do this. Again you can make money from sig campaigns but it is not really worth the time unless you already do a lot of posting before joining. I am obviously in one now but you run the risk of sig-spamming and getting banned so i am cutting down posting a lot and will just go back to how i did before joining. To add you could invest into a new gambling site that needs bankroll or you could loan btc although i am not sure if that even makes much return. Just think what you can make money from in the real world and bring that hear.
158  Economy / Gambling / Re: What gambing games do gamblers want? on: March 09, 2015, 01:02:52 PM
gamblers and gamers currently want an MMORPG gambling game where you can easily win and lose
because currently there isnt any mmorpg game in bitcoin worldd!

Seen this mentioned a few times i will look into it see what it is about as i have never heard of it lol

Cheers

a good btc texas hold'em poker game would be nice.

This has been mentioned quite a bit and i am not sure whether it is just being wrote for the sake of it because i see a few poker sites that are struggling to get players but there seems to be so many lovers of it.

I am passing on the poker site until i can bring a twist to the game i love the game and do not want to fall out of love with it because of stress trying to run it.

All so the website must have a chat room because the social aspect is necessary to not feel lonely and it makes the site a more fun and lively place.

It will 100% have a lively chat area trollbox this is a must as you have stated.
Hi guys, i am ready to start creating a gambling site over next month or two but before i do i would like some feedback from guys who enjoy having a gamble to tell me what they prefer, whether that is dice, poker roulette or something new  Wink

If something new what would the game be like ?

I have in mind something basic to begin with like a wheel of multipliers but what should the theme be and should there be a progressive jackpot slot are all questions i am trying to figure out. Do you think that could work and would you play it?

If this is in the wrong section please tell me where it should go and i will move it,

Thanks

I like games where I see whats now going on like Moneypot or Luckybit.

Else it can be something new, be creative ^^

I am going to give it more time and hopefully create something totally different because there is a touch of boring to all the same games being released over and over, i will try mix a few see what i come up with  Cool
159  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [++ RATES THAN DaDice] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 09, 2015, 12:53:18 PM
am i only one from this campaign who got banned?

In short no you are not there has been quite a few, if you want a perma banned then keep posting outside of meta. Seems the no restriction on amount of posts has got quite a few people banned.

Maybe it is best to reduce to a maximum post count to maybe 50 or 70 then there is no rush milking the cash cow with crappy posts and hopefully people will put more effort into their posts.

Just a thought and it would also save bit-x money i am sure would reduce bans.

Since the bans i have came to a stand still of a few posts a day i am not risking it also will have my personal limit of 50-70.

160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question about the price gap between BTC-E and Bitstamp on: March 08, 2015, 01:53:47 PM
Arbitrage is in full effect my friend, thats the beauty of a free market.

Yes, I thought that arbitrage will correct any difference among the different markets, but it didn't. BTC-E is always lower, sometimes the it's up to $10.

Yeh that statement is not right as far as i am aware, it would have balanced it out if arbitrage was involved, i trade on btc-e and until there is a real high difference like close to $10 it is basically a waste of time after the fee's transaction times etc that is why the gap because there is no arbitrage. Reason being try move funds from a to b in any quick time it aint going to happen.
