Why do new investors consider the IEO a scam / Should I invest in IEO?

It has been going three days Bittrex has launched IEO for "ocean" coin. But seems still now 17% remain of IEO token. Last IEO was closed within few seconds. Wondering why still not sold out current IEO on Bittrex. Are investors realizing that IEO is silent scam? Because on last IEO on Bittrex lots of investor's got REKT. Perhaps that's why investors worried about their funds.
What do you think? There is any other reason?
I think that because their first IEO had a lot of problems when investors used the tool to buy within the first 2 seconds. Investors did not trust Bittrex and ocean to sell out in the first hour. Worry is of course, but we will know tomorrow, they announced the list at 15 UTC |

Those time that projects hits like that are due to the bull run. Yes many have earned on Nano due to its tremendous increase but who knows might be thr next nano and neo. If youre an investor of neo before then youre really lucky or a genius cause it is really good profit from them. But considering the market now, its quite hard to find a 100x with a stable one. Maybe 20x but that is rare and some gains on CMC last only for a week and change again.
In the past, there were many incredible projects, including NANO, a project that no one had heard before. After a while it was listed on large exchange lots and the price increased more than 100x according to my knowledge. It is now difficult when a certain altcoin is available in just a few months |

I come across different posts and allegations that bounty hunters are dumpers and they make projects lose it value upon exchange listing. But from my experience with bounties most projects don't offer bounty allocation of more than 5% of the total token sold. So how will 5% dump have a huge effect on the remaining 95% price. And what about projects that don't have bounties but still dump hard on the exchange, is it bounty hunters too?
The bitter truth is that most projects dump because of the ridiculous number of bonuses the team have offered during the tokensale and pre-sale period. Imagine giving investors 70% bonus for their investments, they can decide to sell everything off and be happy with the 70% profit.
Most of them do not know the peak period of the bounty is the last months of 2017 and early 2018. When the market is very active, and with a few dozen or a few hundred thousand dollars, it is impossible to make a coin dump. And then start on bear market, chaos has created a dump for the whole market. That is the main cause, not caused by bounty hunter |

Binans is a very large exchange for today,with quite serious capitals and plans,it will not be so easy to close it,even if they want to,so it's definitely a pitchfork on the water drive,I'm sure that everything will be fine with the project,and the price of the token will only rise up and up

What I've learnt about bounties so far
1)many bounty hunters are joining bounties that has huge stake allocations like 300,000$ upward ,some are even after the 1000000$ ones well I've stop hunting for projects that lure hunters with huge rewards as many of them are plain rubbish
2)I've learn to always join bounties that are already listed and trading with good volume and mind you these bounties always have low bounty rewards like 75k to 100k but there is high assurance of selling your tokens if you wish to ,not keeping coins that will never see the light of the days again ,I mean tokens that will never get listed
3)there are few bounty managers that I respect ,they take there job very serious and I always like to follow them ,waiting for them to launch new bounties ,I prefer to join 4-5 projects in a year than promoting shitcoins
I think your reasoning is unreasonable, many people are looking for and participating in bounties with pools from $ 10k to about $ 100k. It makes them believe that this bounty will actually bring money to them, not the bounties with unrealistic pool numbers with the current situation. |

When project hits the exchange decide if it is worth dumping. If a price is solid then sell as you will have a chance to get in at lower price for sure.
If price is 0 then you have no choice but hold and hope for the best. But i agree i don't understand dumper who selling tokens they got for few months work for $2.
I participated in a bounty that received its value only a few dozen dollars, but after evaluating the project. I feel that they are still working and very potential, so I think I should hold, in addition I am purchasing it at a very cheap price for hold long time |

Its soooo unfair..  like i will hold USDT for weeks at a time, and all the coins will pump! but the day i decide to finally invest in a altcoin, it instantly turns into a blood bath! EVERY FRIGGIN TIME and i buy at the BOTTOM of the BOTTOM... whyyy does this always happen to me.. its totally not fair  anyways.. what do you guys think about Wabi and KMD.. do you like these coins? thnxx I was like you, when I bought XLM from 2420 sat, now it only has 21xx sat.
