you know who i don't like? harry reid.. that guy is ridiculous. i believe he was hating on the koch brothers, and when someone said compared them to sheldon adelson, he said "it's different with sheldon." that just means he's getting paid by 1 guy and not getting paid by another.
I'd not heard that about Adelson. That would explain why he got the leadership position because little else that I've seen over the years could explain or justify it. I appreciate the fact that you are not just some 'yes man' for the administration and are willing to call out both sides. We need more free thinkers here in the U.S. I feel one of the biggest divides we face is that everybody (in general, not every individual) has become so partisan throughout the United States. Their side can do no wrong and the other side and do no right. I can't stand FOX or MSNBC. They are both joke stations that are dumbing down our country. (As an aside-I feel fortunate to live in a state where people don't just punch a straight party ticket in the elections. We have one Dem senator and one Rep senator. A Dem as governor and a Rep and state attorney general.) |

Not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, I liked his trash talking and the shit disturbing he did out side of the ring. The other part is happy he's gone. He just didn't have it anymore to be enough of a serious contender for the belt. Shame he has to go out on a low not failing a drug test. The guy has a gift for being mentally quick, funny, and sincere at the same time. I don't like that he's going out after a failed drug test, but glad he's going out before losing any of his mental capacity. I can see him having a long career ahead as a commentator. He does a great job on FOX in his part time role right now. They may want to add to his workload and Chael out as a general sports anchor, rather than just MMA. |

I am about to finish a masters degree in business administration from UK and thinking to work in USA? Can anybody guide me right to the current employment conditions in the country? Few years back, companies in the country were laying off employees.. Is that still continuing ?
Firstly, why do you want to move out of UK... If there are no specific reasons, why don't you consider getting yourself a job in UK only.. There are oodles of multinational companies in the country offering great opportunities with attractive remunerations.. Give it a thought.. Your right. UK is a good place to work at. However, if you're still interested in working in the US, there's good news! Unemployment rate has been at an all time low since 2008 due to the government's efforts. It has dropped to 6.3% in April 2014 from about a whopping 10% in October 2009. Not sure if this is sarcasm. Government has been rigging the employment figure for a while. Not really rigging the stats, just the unemployment census does not count people that have been unemployed for over 24 months. You are correct, if they counted the long term unemployed with the unemployment stats the numbers would be significantly higher. |

We need what we used to have that enabled us to prosper and made us attractive to those coming from other countries: a frontiersman's strength to do whatever it takes to succeed and a culture of limitless opportunity based on your own initiative.
