I wonder how many will celebrate when BTC hit $42?
Many people did...though, most of us were not around back then...

Something coming on Oct 31st.. Can't wait..
Is it something scary, maybe involving lots of ghosts and skeletons?

Andreas already set up a Bitcoin address for Dorian Nakomoto. Why would this site ask people to send their bitcoin donations to a different one than the one he set up for Dorian? Most of it sounds plausible, but that whole new bitcoin address seems...doesn't make sense.

Aww, how cute. Welcome to the forum...

It seems to be a scam looking for unsuspecting people to donate coins thinking those are going to Dorian, but really into a scammers pocket. Mr. Nakomoto has claimed no involvement in this fund, nor receiving any benefit from it. Stay away from this scam.
Source? Sure. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=822537.0http://qntra.net/2014/10/newsweeklied-lied/While Newsweek claimed that they had discovered “the face behind Bitcoin.” Dorian Nakamato denied having anything to do with it.

A little over a week ago, Newsweeklied.com, The Dorian Nakamoto Legal Defense Fund launched. However, there are a many flaws and concerns we have over the authenticity of the “legal fund.”

Although Newsweeklied.com asserts the effort is authorized and endorsed by Dorian, there is no evidence of such.[/[/u]quote]
Where did Dorian state that? I can't find it. Where did Dorian Nakomoto state that Newsweeklied.com is giving him these funds they are collecting on his behalf? Nowhere. That's the point and what likely makes it a scam. Chances are that whoever created this will keep all the BTC they collect.

So, stay away from this scam.

I can't stand it any more. I can no longer take this thread seriously.
Don't think anybody else is either. It may be time for you to lock it up.

Bitcoin was also mentioned on this season's premier episode of Law and Order SVU.

You understand you aren't going to get your funding here, right? You don't have proper collateral. Im pretty explicit in where I am attempting to acquire funding from. As for having the proper collateral. I have plenty of collateral. Including Litecoin. But Im not going to secure currency with currency. That makes absolutely no sense. If I have currency, why would I be asking to borrow currency? I have car titles and real estate deeds. If someone wants to try to make that work, i am more than willing to cooperate. Why would you use a car title and not Litecoins? Either way, if you're planning on paying back the loan, you get your collateral back...just as nobody would sell your car form under you within the duration of the loan, the same thing- nobody would sell your LTC from under you within the duration of the loan. As long as you plan on paying back, there is no difference.

Is this coin abandoned?
If not then why doesn't the dev update the OP?
You say Earth is listed on BTC38 yet it's not on the exchange list. Not to mention the exchanges listed are no correct at this point.
Pretty amateur stuff here. No wonder this coin is circling the bowl.
Yes. 1 of the 2 original Devs ran off with 100 Million pre-mined coins and sold them when price was up, tanking it early on. That left the second Dev in a tough spot that he really couldn't recover from. Community tried taking over to save it, but in the end, there was only so much that a handful of bagholders were able to do. Too bad, EAC had a ton of potential when it started. Let's not shoot the corpse just yet. Block chain is functioning, there are still exchanges. It's only a year old. True, I was just pointing out the main reasons we are currently "circling the bowl". You have done an excellent job of trying to keep people aware of EAC. I've been in since Launch and am still one of the few bagholders I was referring to. Would love to see a revitalization. Just not looking good at the moment.

It will be announced today. I promise. Don't even try to downvote, I'll ban you just for looking at my post. https://hashtalk.org/topic/11003/delay-in-announcementHello, I wanted to apologize for the delay in our announcement yesterday. Between interviews and all the one on one time I spent with customers yesterday, my time got away from me. My team waits for my go ahead, so it’s entirely my fault.
There are a few things I wanted to check in on this morning. Once I get the answers I need, I will post our update. This will happen before the end of today. Thanks for your patience
Josh I'm glad there was an announcement made to let people know that there is an announcement coming.

Anybody who has borrowed money from a legal lending institution (bank, savings and loan) is NOT in debt. THAT debt is a lie. It is a creation of new money. There is no borrowing done. "Creation of new money" or not, it is still a debt...if you're a moral and ethical person, you pay back what you borrow. As a creation of new money, it is not a debt. Can't pay back something you haven't borrowed. Try paying it back all you want. It is impossible, since it was never borrowed. If you vouched (ie. signed a contract to pay back a certain amount of money at a given interest rate) to re-pay this "creation of new money", you have the ethical (and legal) obligation to honor your word. The thing you signed is a contract. Standard contract law says that something you signed without realizing what the terms are - without a full meeting of the minds - is a null and void contract. In the case of the loan system, there is fraud involved, because they have intentionally changed the legal meanings of words so that you think that you really have a loan going. Fraud makes any contract null and void. If you go into this loan planning on using this fraud to get out of paying your debt, you'd be correct- it is fraud, but not on their end, Mr. BADecker.
