Very nice.  I had picked up a few empty 4u cases to try to modify them to hold ant s1's, but i have to say - this looks so much nicer than what I was trying to rig together.

The PSU case is awesome - i was trying to figure out how to manage the psu's on the rack.  One really cool improvement would be if you could get an extension cable that went from the output of the power supply to the case where the ants where.  then mount the break out board in that case.  then the PCI-e cable mess would be enclosed in the ant miner case.

f2pool does have a LTC pool i think it's Pay Per Share (PPS), nicehash is pretty much selling the hash to other buyers.  https://www.litecoinpool.org/pools has the distribution of some pools - but note they are approximating things - and give their standard deviation in the text.

it might all depend on what you pay per kw.  Most people I've talked to it's .10 per kwh.  In some places where a local municipality has ownership of the utility it can be closer to .06 per kwh.  In the winter in the north you have a heat offset to reduce the cost of running a furnace vs the heat kicked off.  In the south you see the opposite, increased AC usage due to heat production. 

Avalon 60gh miner from nov 2013 is 10w/gh - it had an 850w psu inside - I ripped it apart and pulled it offline a while ago.
BFL singles are almost worth more for their CPU coolers than anything else.
S1's while being 2w/ghash can be undervolted to closer to 1w/ghash
Jupiter, Bitfury H-M boards and asicminer tubes are all close to 1w/ghash without getting out a calculator.

Accordingly if current prices/diff stays the same (lol) - then $300 BTC and current diff is about .014 BTC/TH/DAY or $4.20 if power is .10 KWH, then that's $2.40 per day in power. 

So really it's going to be a benefit to those who have dirt cheap power, and to those who are going to view break even as a point of converting a utility bill into BTC.

Suffice to say I'm not sure who is still buying BFL singles on ebay - or why they are - but they still seem to be selling.

Pretty much - Finally found the wallet - which I had first discovered would be worthless when I did find it - a day late and 4.78880942 MMXIV short.  Oh well... part of the learning curve when straying from bitcoin i guess.

I can't decide which is worse - to have a company with a history of making miners doing this whole pre-order shill (BlackArrow), the company that does the reselling and then can't deliver, communicate, or refund (MS), or just a complete scam company like playsellbuy -- who ripped me off and didn't ever plan on shipping stuff.  But at least with that one you knew it was a scam.

At least BFL refunded customers when they realized that a $4500 600GH card no longer made sense. 

Heck MinerSource wouldn't even refund my money for a "compensation" unit PSU -- or just allow store credit.

With Asic Tubes being about .8 BTC or about .001 BTC per GH, add in PSU, cases etc, BlackArrow should be delivering to everyone 5 X3 for each one ordered... Which isn't going to happen so it's just a big SCREW YOU to the customers.

Sure coincidental... it's like $25.... it's not like it's on the top priority list of watching and seeing what goes on with it.  Sorry don't have all the time in the world to wonder what happened and watch the progress.  It was promoted as a coin that once it was mined then it wouldn't need to be monitored... that's what you got... mined and then ignored.

Yah I happened to be browsing the altcoin announcement forum section tonight and saw this.  Believe it or not - not all of us have time to watch every thread on this forum.

While I haven't opened this wallet in a while because it's not high on my priority list - when I last checked I had stashed away the 4.50889564 MMXIV I mined.

TL;DR

so if I find my MMXIV wallet file - and open the client - I guess I'll be pleased to see it has a zero balance since the dev has given away the coins I mined.  Because silly me - why would you presume that after you mine a coin and let it sit that the dev would make a hard fork and then give away the unclaimed coins.  Sorry to be late to the party - but keeping up on every alt coin is about impossible.  Enjoy the 4.5 coins you gave away.  I'll chalk it up as a forced charitable donation - kind of like what obama wants - wealth redistribution. 

anyone have a link to the pi image?  or can i just use a standard raspbian image and then copy over the chain miner etc.

look into some of the red connectors available at a big box home improvement store or a local electrical supply house.  I've found with a little bit of pinching on those connections you can get it to connect.  Most of my bitfury cards had the barrel connections as well

THat's the only way I can get the math to work for Pbmining.  Especially with the weekly payout stuff.  Why not pay like any other pool...

I've got 2 BFL singles and 1 Little Single.  Also have numbers USB erupters in many colors if you let me know which colors you are looking for.

The BFL - I have just the power supply for the little single - the rest have all melted down (shocker right).  I have the usb cables - I also have a dell 750 PSU that is hardwired into the 2 of them if you want that.

The site says that they charge $.0032 per GH/s per day for power and upkeep.

So for 100 Gh/s thats 32 cents by my math.

Not sure what they pay for power - but if you use enough - one can normally negotiate a rate closer to 5 or 6 cents per kwh.

so if you have a 1w/1GH - then 100 would use 2.4kw a day - or about 15 cents.  That leaves the rest to cover overhead like rent, internet, and cooling - obviously not heating in the winter... So that seems about right.

Compared to a typical residential customer that has 10 cent per kwh power - you'd be at 24 cents a day to do the same thing at home - but you would own the machine. 

Sounds more believable to me than pbmining.
