141  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: TheCryptoCave.com - We're a group of traders all working together, join us! on: October 24, 2017, 10:31:23 AM
Do i have to register in order to be in the mailing list for the calls/tips that you guys give out on a regular basis? Because i currently see no options to become a part of the mailing list, whilst being logged out at the moment.

If you can prove that your calls are accurate most of the time, then the site is definitely going to become more popular in the future.

But apart from the calls, i have to say, i like the articles as well and enjoy reading them. Keep it up.
142  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MIXER.TO - High Privacy Bitcoin Mixer on: October 24, 2017, 10:24:57 AM
OP hasn't been online since October 8th.

Not a good sign at all in my opinion, with the authentic letter of guarantee. Think about it, why would anyone legit that has just opened their service knowing fully that he needs to be extra good in order to beat his competition still do this?

Only explanation: He is a scammer. I'm sorry but, wait at least till the mixer puts some funds in escrow or spends money on advertising their service before using them.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term HODL Cryptos on: October 24, 2017, 10:00:06 AM
Mine personally are XMR and ZEC.

Both haven't been in action lately but i think that once people catch onto it price will absolutely skyrocket. They are actually competitors right now, but i think that in the future anonymous coins in general will be huge, and i'm not sure which one will be the ultimate winner.

I also just hold some doge, for the lols.
144  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: October 24, 2017, 09:31:19 AM
Is there some reason you guys didn't add WEX yet? Lips sealed
Your mysterious behavior actually freaks me out, bitcoinwisdom. Any reply? To anybody? Shocked

P.S.
If this site is really abandon, please consider selling it to someone who cares, to me or other community member.
I give you 2BTC, need just a domain. Let's start biding.
PM

I don't think it is abandoned.

They don't have the obligation to add every single exchange that is out there. Their main purpose is to consolidate all of their info into a select few exchanges and they may feel like that WEX's volume is too low for it to be in(and it is, since it is ranked 16th right now, below Yobit).

And i don't think that it's the right place to bid for a domain...
145  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: October 24, 2017, 09:24:16 AM
While we do believe Bitcoin Gold is worthless[1], we intend to drain all available chips at Bitcoin Gold blockchain.
what do you mean by that bolded words? sorry, a bit english handicapped here Tongue
are you saying to prevent abuse, you are going to move around BTC chips so none will have BTG available
or you simply are going to transfer all BTG from eligible chips to another address you own
for e.g. I'm holding a chip (with privkey) before fork and planning to claim BTG,
are you going to transfer BTG from that address before I get the chance to do it?
After you have received private key and destroyed session, we do not have it anymore.
We intend to sweep available (not claimed by anyone) chips in the mixer, so when you deposit BTC, you will receive chip with BTC, not BTC+gold.

Makes sense, otherwise peolpe will just take advantage of the vouchers that do still have bitcoin gold in them like last time with the BCC fork.

Even if bitcoin gold is worthless intrinsically imo it'll get pumped up solely because of the fact that it has done marketing and people are talking about it. Unclaimed private chips belong to chipmixer - and chipmixer should be the ones claiming that profit.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: District0x next Golem? on: October 24, 2017, 09:17:50 AM
Thoughts and ideas if District0x will do the same dealio as Golem? Smiley GNT=DNT?

Maybe. But these are all unknowns until the future.

Each altcoin has its own advantages and disadvantages as well as its own community and economy - to try to compare a coin to the next something is just illogical in my opinion. District0x could go up in value, sure. There is potential.

But it shouldn't be called the "next golem". If you know what i'm saying.
147  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wallet for Canadians on: October 24, 2017, 09:11:42 AM
Honestly just use Electrum for now. The best, most convenient and widely supported light bitcoin wallet available out there at the moment. Multibit is no longer supported and Armory is just kind of dead right now. Downloading the entire blockchain takes too long.

Bitcoin wallets are not restrictive of country.

Unless you are talking about bitcoin exchanges, which i'm assuming you're not.
148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Transaction Accelerator on: October 24, 2017, 09:06:42 AM
Any Free BTC Transaction Accelerator? Like https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

ViaBTC has a limit on the amount of transactions that it is able to accelerate and usually that quota ends up lasting for just a measly few seconds after the hour starts. That's why i personally prefer to use confirmtx.com.

They do have a 500 byte limit though which is annoying at times when you have multiple inputs.

Others i haven't tried, therefore i cannot testify for them.
149  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Recovery Services on: October 24, 2017, 09:03:10 AM
Mind telling us about your methods?

Since you have no reputation, nobody can assume that you are going to stay honest and truthful once you get your hands on the coins if it is successfully recovered. There are only a select few people that i personally would trust for this kind of thing.

Have some funds held by escrow to improve your trust.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Biggest alt rally ever? on: October 23, 2017, 09:52:15 AM
Looking at what happened after bitcoin cash was done. Btc crashed hard and alts mooned.

I think later this week we will see exactly the same thing.

Bitcoin gold is by far not the same thing as bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cahs had a lot of influential people backing it, while bitcoin gold is really just sort of a project for money for the devs. There is much less hype this time round at least in my opinion.

Sure, altcoins could go up, but it's not going to be the biggest rally.

Plus after BCC, bitcoin actually went up quite a bit.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins are dying on: October 23, 2017, 09:49:46 AM
This is happening over and over again. It is part of the game, relax, take a beer and hodl Wink

Exactly. Bitcoin went up so naturally, altcoins would go down. There is only so much money in this market and sometimes they do go up together in the same time but there is a chance that alts will plummet when bitcoin goes up, which is exactly what happened this time round.

Just hold whatever coin you have.

If it's a good coin, in the long term, it'll prove its worth.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Enjin coin reach a $100m Market Cap?? on: October 23, 2017, 09:47:45 AM
Currently the crowdsale sits at $21 million.

It is not rare, at all, for ICOs to quadruple or more their price. ETH probably 100x its initial ICO price or potentially more. Alongside a bitcoin bull market, there is probably a guarantee for Enjincoin to have at least $100 million in market cap.

Whether or not it  goes to another level and gets into the $500 million+ is another question.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MonaCoin is the *100 Coin, it will be $1000 soon, you heard it here FIRST! on: October 23, 2017, 09:34:26 AM
So MonaCoin already went to $4 from $0.40 in the last few days because its now on japans biggest exchange so all japan whales are buying in. Also its the bitcoin of japan so not depending on US/China-Governments. Plus its a technology leader, was first coin to bring segwit.

The devs are workaholics and MonaCoin is a top5 coin within the next 12 months, if Governments like US and China shut down Bitcoin and Cryptos, MonaCoin will get to 1 Million each. HODL!

I'm not sure if you're joking here but your post is really a joke.

Monacoin will never beat LTC, let alone beat ETH or BTC in terms of market caps. Simply no reason for it to, if you think about it. it is a cool project, yes. But is there really such a demand even after the recent rally?

Maybe $10 per coin is possible, but the aspect of being a top 5 is not likely imo.
154  Economy / Reputation / Re: What the hell, i only bought this account and now lauda give me neg trust on: October 23, 2017, 08:08:44 AM
Like what i said i dont have any knowledge that buying account to someone will give bad reputation to this account.
If i only knew it ,i will not admit that i bought this account. This is the only account that i have. Dont know whats wrong with those members who give me negative trust, they think this doing will make them famous?

Well mate it seems that the seller just scammed you as well. He didn't explain further that buying account is strictly prohibited, at least to some trust members like Lauda. It isn't against the rule (afaik) but from the past, buying account is being used by most to scam other members. There's an old saying "ignorance of law, excuses no one".

I would suggest you to contact the seller and ask for a refund if he will still refund you.

Very very unlikely that the seller of the account will ever do anything to him. If he sells accounts then that's already proof enough that he doesn't give a crap about others and whether or not they are getting scammed.

Buying accounts are allowed, but people can have their opinions. Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's right.
155  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake Japanese Translator on: October 23, 2017, 08:07:01 AM
Yep, and he got negged by Lauda. Thanks for that Lauda.

Bounty campaigns really need to be careful about this. Do your due diligence before accepting a user into your bounty campaign for translations or whatever. If he speaks Indonesian fluently then all of a sudden claim to be a native Jap speaker, he's probably lying.
None of my business, but Bitcointalk is the last place i'd be looking for reliable translators.

I only use Fiverr for stuff like that, however it can get expensive, for book-grade quality translation with sophisticated wordings from a native japanese professional translator, count at least 100$ for 2000 words.

https://www.fiverr.com/shungha/translate-english-to-formal-or-informal-japanese?context&context_referrer=search_gigs&context_type=auto&pos=2&ref_ctx_id=614d3105-ff0f-4ad8-860c-9ec2da255c8d&funnel=c1b19b10-48de-470b-b545-0d077fe5900e

Yeah, fiverr is good. Though it's definitely not teh only place.
156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I can't for the life of me safely move my BTC to a new address. on: October 23, 2017, 08:05:01 AM
Do you have the private key for this address?

If yes then just export the private keys into electrum, then send the bitcoins contained inside that address to a new wallet. Then you can import your empty private key into a bitcoin cash supported wallet client or whatever.

If you don't have the private key, try exporting it.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins based on privacy and security? on: October 23, 2017, 07:42:07 AM
There are so many projects out lately, it's hard to keep up. I'm curious if anyone has a favorite privacy/anonymous based cryptocurrency that is newer to the market

Deeponion comes to mind but apparently it is a copy paste project. Unless you want to risk investing your money in a fraudulent project, then stay away from them. Otherwise, Hcash has some anonymity aspects though that's not their main focus.

Apart from that, probably not any at the moment. Why not just stick to the big players? XMR, ZEC, w/e.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Iota is falling ? on: October 23, 2017, 07:40:35 AM
Hey guys im following the situation about iota and i just dont understand why iota is keep falling ? Iota team is doing lots of conferences in germany about automobile industry but it keeps falling ?

Its price has been significantly pumped up since its ICO release, if i'm not mistaken it's actually in the hundreds of times in terms of return for initial ICO investors. Some are just taking their profit now. with such a huge supply i can see the price going down a bit more before settling.

Their software is still somewhat new, and exchanges aren't all that fond of implementing such a new concept altogether. Once they do, expect price to go back up and IOTA making it back to the top 10.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop on: October 23, 2017, 07:39:04 AM
Are all airdrops done through Bitcointalk?

You'll find most airdrop info on bitcointalk, it's just that not all directly is conducted on bitcointalk.

There are multiple formats. I think that the most popular right now is through bounties on bitcointalk, but there are airdrops such as byteball's that is done via a snapshot of people's bitcoin balances. Clams also operate in a similar way.

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who is buying up all the cheap alt coins now ? on: October 22, 2017, 09:36:49 AM
I personally believe this is a great time to buy good alt coins. Price is way down as market has shifted to buying BTC. Some more than 50%.

What percentage of your crypto is in alts vs BTC ?

Right now around 40% of my cryptocurrency investment is diversified into numerous altcoins and the rest is in BTC. I think that you are right, right now altcoins are down a bit because of the fact that bitcoin has surged so much.

For people who held bitcoin, it could be a pretty good investment to move some of that bitcoin into altcoins and wait for the pump before cashing out some of that altcoins for a decent profit. Always buy when everyone else is panic dumping, which is what's happening with altcoins in general right now.
