141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING YObit is a scam on: February 22, 2018, 08:48:24 PM
This is one of the worst exchanges I ever saw and if you have an opportunity not to trade there it is better to do so. Many people have problems with this exchange. I also had problems so I got out of there few months ago. I'd recommend to avoid such crappy exchanges.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: February 22, 2018, 08:33:41 PM
I think that the growth will begin. Perhaps in a few weeks we will be surprised that prices grow significantly. I do not think that 2018 will be a year of bears. Сrypto is just beginning to develop actively and it's too early to stop. Investors are very keen on crypto so they will invest and raise the market for sure. Also we shold not forget about big money which is currently wait for welcome regulations Wink
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: February 22, 2018, 08:24:08 PM
I would rather prefer better long-term investments such as ICO than trading. Trading should be dealt with by a person who understands anything in this at least until I can tell you anything, because I just do not know how to trade

Only a person who has experience and knowledge can successfully trade. For beginners trading ends sadly. But you can be a good investor if you can find excellent coins. You just need to learn the coin, evaluate its potential to invest and wait for profit. It's much easier than trading.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 22, 2018, 08:19:04 PM
My way of earning in crypto I started with getting airdrops. Some coins brought me profit which seemed pretty good. But then I realized that there are many other excellent ways to earn money and went into trading. I think that every beginner starts with airdrops and this is a great opportunity without investments to enter the world of crypto.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron launching platform. Do you think trx will rise up now? on: February 20, 2018, 09:28:51 PM
I like TRX and I took part in that rally, so now I'm trying to stay tuned to every project with Justin Sun. I guess Odyssey has all the chances to make such a surge like TRX did.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH beat BTC someday? on: February 20, 2018, 09:18:32 PM
Is there any chance that Ethereum will cost as much as Bitcoin in 2018?

If you mean the price then no, it's imposible. But if we talk about ETH and BTC caps it's pretty possible. Just take a look to the dominance rate chart at CMC... I suppose ETH will become the top crypto in few months.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin will go 10x soon on: February 19, 2018, 05:24:28 PM
Which coin do you think will go 10 times within the next few months?

Recently I've bought Monetha. The have many milestones at their roadmap for this year. I guess there is high probability that MTH will become one of the most advanced payment systems soon. Moreover it's currently below the ICO price.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happned to TRON(TRX),Future predictions??? on: February 19, 2018, 05:20:28 PM
They are going to release mainnet March 31st, check out this article: https://theripplecryptocurrency.com/tron-trx-mainnet-launch/. I suppose that they have too much advantages not to grow Wink
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Binance coin on: February 19, 2018, 05:00:07 PM
I like Binance coin, however i think that Kuckoin shares it's better because they also pay 50% from the profits made from all their trading fees.

Moreover Kucoin pays 50% reward with the most traded coins. You must not underestimate this fact, because as a rule these assets are the most potential ones. So if you'll hold them the reward would become much more expensive with time.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCal site is a SCAM on: February 19, 2018, 04:54:55 PM
Pay attention, we talk about https://coinmarketcal.com/, not https://coinmarketcap.com/.
As for me, I think we can find approximate information about important upcoming events - isn't that good? Besides, community are involved in assessment this events.

This is a good thought. The key word is approximate. It's not a secret for everyone that information placed there could be inaccurate or incorrect so everybody needs to check it twice (or even more) before doing smth based on it.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about airdrop that required apps install? on: February 19, 2018, 04:50:19 PM
It's too dangerous to install some third parties apps to your main phone. I'd recommend to avoid them or act like blackmagical suggests to.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit account Temporary Disabled on: February 19, 2018, 04:41:14 PM
It's not the first topic on the same theme for today. Here you can find the same problem https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2979897.0. I'm really wonder what is hapening there. My account works well, but there is 0 balance sinse I don't trade there. Did you participate at pump&dumps?
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY CALENDAR - very reccomendable Tool for crypto investors - on: February 19, 2018, 11:59:27 AM
Hi at all,

this nice website shows important crypto events like airdrops, meetups, forks, launches..... I think it is very useful for crypto investers intensify their research.

https://coinmarketcal.com/

btw.... if the link I've shared was useful for you, please share a merit. i need some to upgrade my account and unlock some limitations.

It's a very well known and useful source indeed. But it's not the post you will get merits for. I'd recommend to share your method of using it or something like that... Try to make some USEFUL guide and community will award you Wink

thank you for your nice hint. I also think that this source is useful but not enough known by far. I've already introduced it to some people and everybody was excited receiving this information.... so I hope that some users in this forum can benefit from this website.

I am a Newbie in the cryptoworld and my current knowledge and language skills are not sufficient enough for creating realy useful and extended guides.... it is like a vicious circle.  But I know what you mean and I try my best to improve the situation. Neverthenless, i think the Merit System is very appropriate..... but for Newbies very hard to master Cool

I appreciate your efforts. It's really pretty hard to get an experienced crypto guy (or lady). Don't give up and move on whatever it costs. Nevertheless take your first smerit for a warm start Wink
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto day trading is more stressful than I thought! on: February 19, 2018, 11:41:32 AM
Any profitable day trader have any tips?. It seems like I never get the right time to sell. Thanks

The main tip for trading is not to wach the price every now and then. You should determine your strategy (entry and exait points) before you get in some asset. Trading is not a guessing - it's risk based approach which requires an experience! Don't trade without a proper study.

156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose your bounty hunt? on: February 19, 2018, 11:09:36 AM
The main step when I search a new bounty is to get through dozens projects listed at different ICO trackers. The first thing where I look at is expert ratings and the community support - it's pretty easy to determine them. The next thing is the bounty reward and the spreadsheet. I make my own spreadsheet with projects which fit some conditions about rewards, ratings and the size of community. This step significantly reduces the amount of existed options. After that I analyse WP and project details to determine the winner.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to not waste time with terrible bounties - for dummies on: February 19, 2018, 11:02:50 AM
It'd be a really useful article for newbies. I'd recommend to spend more time to analysis bounty conditions and spreadsheets. It's pretty useful. Sometimes doing this you can find a really good bounty to get in Wink
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO to invest in on: February 19, 2018, 10:55:37 AM
Hi All,

So I'm looking into ICO's as everyone keeps mentioning to invest in ICO's.. Can someone help me out and explain what they actually do and if there is an ICO which is the main one to invest in.

It's getting more and more difficult to get in good projects today. For example ArcBlock and many other popular projects have been finished in a few minutes. Moreover, recently I was trying to be whitelisted at Ocean Protocol and Seele... and it was unreal to do since the whole community trying to go through one door at the same time. So now I changed my strategy a little bit. I'm trying to buy cheap bounty tokens straight after the listing.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which industry are you investing most? on: February 19, 2018, 10:48:47 AM
I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the projects they are investing in. Like I am mostly interested in green projects, since world will be needing green and sustainable projects in coming years. What is your pick?

I like VR, Medical, Power distribution, AI and blockchain projects. I don't like: financial, gambling and especially sex/porn/drugs projects.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100,000 to invest. Should I buy BTC or ETH or altcoins? on: February 19, 2018, 10:45:44 AM
Hi, I am from taiwan and I have been introduced by a colleague to bitcointalk to learn more about cryptocurrencies.

I intend to start my portfolio with $100k and work my way up. I am managing a small private fund which usually invest into equities

but we are now interested in crypto.

Me and my team's initial research tells us to buy ETH, NEO, Monero, Dash, IOTA, Lisk and Tron.

Anyone here working in a fund house? Any inputs?

MingNa

The diversifying is the key, so you need to invest in every type of assets. Since in crypto we have only one type - crypto - I'd recommend to invest in alts as well as BTC or ETH. You have a pretty good list of alts, but you need to think about investing a small amounts in small cap coins. Since Tron is a platform project it's tied with OCN and Game.com. Check them out.
