I understand that the campaign is still going on and they are paying to the existing members, but they are NOT accepting new members so you are just giving false hope to people.

I know many friends who regularly go jogging, even my mom does. Your app will be interesting for many people so I believe your project has potential. The most important thing is that you test the app really good before you release it and also test if the algorithms are good enough to prevent cheating. You know, that's how people are, we try to bypass rules and cheat. But I believe that it is possible to prevent cheating (driving by car instead of running) so you should hire good programmers with experience in this field.

I went to my bank today to change money to foreign currency because I will be traveling abroad soon. I asked the lady what are the current annual interest rates if you decide to give your money to bank for certain period of time without being able to withdraw that money (Savings Account).
She said proudly that zhe interest rate is 1.3% which is the highest in the country. I was holding my laugh and smiled kindly to her and I said that even 1.3% is not enough for me.
What do you guys think? I think 1.3% per year is a joke. Money can lose that much value in one year so you didn't actually profit at all. What kind of interets rates do you get at your banks?

I am not too excited about your idea. There were ro many ICOs lately and what I noticed is that whenever there is a project without direct connection to blockchain, people start asking "why do you need blockchain for your project, go get a bank loan". I know this is sometimes hard if you don't have good salary and bank doesn't approve you loan request.
Also I am not sure how that would work, that tokens represent you share in a company.

Ethereum will never catch bitcoin price wise. Main reason being the supply. Etzereum has 4 times bigger total supply.
But it is theoretically possible that Ethereum total market cap gets bigger than bitcoin's although this is also unlikely because big money is flowing into bitcoin lately, but not in ethereum.

Your concerns are on point. I also think this is one of the biggest problems of bitcoin. I don't remember exact numbers but about 1000 bitcoin addresses own like 50% of all bitcoins and those 1000 addresses don't mean 1000 different people because some very rich guys have their bitcoins spread among multiple addresses so maybe only 300 people own 50% of bitcoins. If they decide to sell too much at once, bitcoin will crash massively.

I have a problem with my wallet. I had it running yesterday and everything was fine, I was staking successfully. But today it just stays "out of sync" and it has been running for an hour but I still have this error.
It's strange because it says 11 active connections and also "Staking" and my network weight. I usually get at least one transaction from staking per hour but today I didn't receive any so far, probably because my wallet is out of sync.
Does anyone have idea what could be wrong and what can I do to fix this. I already tried to close the wallet and open it again but it didn't help.
Nevermind, I solved the problem. But I still don't know what was the problem. I solved the problem of not syncing by restoring the wallet. First I saved my current wallet.dat file to another folder (you can find your wallet.dat at C:\Users\*your computer name*\AppData\Roaming\GopnikCoin). Than I deleted the whole GopnikCoin folder inside the Roaming folder and I also deleted wallet exe file. After that I downloaded the wallet again using the link in the first post of the ANN thread. I opened the wallet and it started downloading the blockchain (syncing). This was finished in about 20 minutes and than I closed the wallet. Finally I deleted the new wallet.dat file inside the folder \Roaming\GopnikCoin and copied the old wallet.dat file that I backed up before, to the GopnikCoin folder. When I opened the wallet, I had all my GPK coins back and my wallet it now synced and I'm staking again. Hope this helps you if you encounter the same "out of sync" problem. |

Now is the perfect time to invest in ICOs, because Bitcoin's price is so high so you get more tokens per bitcoin than you would get few weeks ago at the lunch of the ICO. One example of ICO you can trust your money and know that the project in evolving and will still be around after a year or more. I think most people who invested in Wordcoin are people who will also be using their platform so they will keep their WORD tokens. This is why I think the chance for a dump when it get's to exchanges, is very small. But long term investors can expect big and stable profit.

At the moment, price is $1.20 per one ROCK token. So if you wait until 1st May, you will get $3 per ROCK which means you made 2.5 X profit.
Not bad but I still want to ask you, are you planning to do like special bonus day, maybe on 6th May. ROCK tokens for $0.90 instead of $1.20. This might attract new investors, some people only invest if there is a bonus.

Why are some people saying it's dead?? There was simply too much focus on Bitcoin in the last few weeks so it's normal that Doge and most other altcoins seem asleep. But I am sure the trend will change sooner or later. Already at this moment price stabilised around 19 satoshi and there is enough buy orders at 17 and 16 satoshi so I am pretty sure it cannot fall bellow 16. If it climbs to 26, and it will, I already made decent profit.
If you want to make quick profit, don't go for Doge, but if you don't mind waiting few weeks, maybe two months, I am sure you will be able to sell it for more than 24 satoshi.
