Damn we are on fire today!

Yep, all going well  Cheesy

My hash power will be down for 16hrs due to a local electricity supplier problem  Angry

143  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 15, 2015, 10:37:18 PM

It happens if the miner can't reach the pool.ntp.org server to set its time.

Thanks Biffa didn't know that.

... manually set the time from the GUI

Sounds good if the pool.ntp.org server isn't playing ball.

For 30 minutes now I can't load the website, all I get is a blank page.

Two of my miners are still on a back-up pool, but others have reconnected.

I'm not concerned, obviously shares are being accepted ... just sharing my blank screen  Grin

145  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: January 15, 2015, 10:12:38 PM
I was hoping this new firmware would allow us to label accounts instead of the "account#1... Etc".

I was surprised that it wasn't available when I got my Trezor.

146  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 15, 2015, 09:24:36 PM
Let us know what you want to see in Spondoolies-Tech's firmware… We are open to suggestions! What do you want to see implemented in our next firmware releases? We want to hear from you

Others have made some good suggestions, I have a simple request ... that a miner doesn't forget it's timezone. Too many of my miners from SP10/30/20 randomly revert back to the year 2000 after a restart. It's a hit and miss affair to get them to time warp to 2015.

I've seen others make comments about this, no idea why it happens, but when it does it screws the graphs up.

Thanks for asking.

147  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 14, 2015, 11:03:55 PM

Guy is a very informed person, and Sponds (I would suggest) are very much in this business for the long run.

BTC price is bad right now, might get worse ... even more worse ... but just look at the applications currently under development building off the blockchain and BTC. Months from now things will be rather 'interesting'.

148  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 22 blocks solved! on: January 14, 2015, 10:51:35 PM
Jesus Kano pool is certainly finding the blocks. it's about 4 aday on 5ph's.

Yes, the pool is showing very good stats, more like an average of 3 day when I record my stats in my time zone.

149  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: January 14, 2015, 10:46:04 PM
If you really want to, you can run your own MyTrezor website and use that if the main one is down.

Here's a link to the Github page for the MyTrezor site: https://github.com/trezor/webwallet

Thanks, but really we shouldn't have to go to such lengths ... we pay for a 'robust service' when we buy a Trezor.

And another block falls ... I made a comment a few days ago that this week might see bad luck after a good run ... my bad ... we just seem to 'conduct business as usual'.  Grin

EDIT: Congrats to the winner!

151  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: January 14, 2015, 10:27:30 PM

I too find that the Spondoolies packaging makes a good sound dampener under the miners ... not that I've added any 'art' objects on top of them  Cheesy

152  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: January 14, 2015, 10:14:46 PM

Logging in earlier to my account was a little scary ... the website refused to load properly, even after many 'refreshes'.

Finally it loaded OK, and then offered the firmware update.

For me, updated and all OK ... but I DO REALLY NOT FIND this Trezor service to be always available.

... I don't like 'Intermittent' service long term.

153  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 11, 2015, 09:51:45 PM

If you are the type of miner that wants a transparent honest pool that pays very well where the developer actually is involved in the pool's thread and takes the time to read and answer posts then by all means mine here.

Good pool luck recently ... brace yourself ... this week should statistically be 'rocky'  Shocked

But then again, this pool always surprises  Grin

The pool speed is growing ... just over 4,000THs as I write. Thanks for the VERY regular and punctual payouts Kano.

Same problem here! This happens more and more!

I'm loading wallets OK today, but sure had slow problems earlier in the week ... one evening I couldn't load at all.

Hoping this will sort itself out, or I'll be moving on, as we all deserve a regular working service.

156  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 09, 2015, 11:00:06 PM

Nice prize Kano, good luck everyone ...

157  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 09, 2015, 09:42:58 PM
Since we've now found 77 blocks since the pool started, I'm going to setup a little prize for lower THs miners (above 800GHs but under 50THs) for one person to win between now and when we find block 100.

There will be absolutely no confusion or issue about the prize unlike other pools have had, once I post the full details soon Smiley

... sounds fun ... hope the prize is a coupon I can use with my electricty supplier  Grin

158  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: January 08, 2015, 10:58:17 PM
Trezor mentioned on CNN report of Bitstamp hack:

Yep, wait until the last 30 seconds ... but it's a good validation all the same.

159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 08, 2015, 10:51:02 PM

I've often found a simple reboot, once all settings are as you want them (but showing in the past) sorts the problem.

160  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: January 06, 2015, 10:50:57 PM

Been using this for a week or so ... but I'm having issues when I log into myTREZOR ... the account balance doesn't always like to load, so I can't get access to the trezor, or my balance. Took 30 mins of trying yesterday before getting access, and tonight it won't load the account. Using Firefox on a MacBook.

Anybody else got issues?

Some users experienced issues with the low quality USB cable supplied with the Trezor. If using another cable doesn't fix the issue, try using Electrum 2.0 (https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum) if you are on Linux.  On Macs, you can either use MacPorts or Homebrew to compile the latest Electrum 2.0.  I prefer MacPorts, but that is a personal choice (beware, it is either Homebrew or MacPorts, both may conflict with each other).

On my regular iMac and MacBook, I am using Safari with mytrezor.com without any issues - maybe Firefox has an issue with the plugin.

Thanks for your information, I'll try a few things.
