141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying Ripple for the XRP Spark token drop? on: November 23, 2020, 03:40:54 PM
Get in before it's too late, XRP is very bullish and once it skyrocket it's never coming down until the bull market is over, since the airdrop tokens depends on how many XRP you are holding it's better to buy while it's still affordable right now, you can sell the airdrop token for more money, I believe the Spark tokens will have good value, it's rare to see Airdrops through XRP nowadays
XRP is indeed profitable right now, because its value is quite affordable. I'm just not quite sure about the airdrop. I hope I can get an airdrop with good value
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about IEO in altcoin season? on: November 23, 2020, 03:38:46 PM
I guess right now people don't think about IEOs, they're more interested in bullrun. bullrun is very profitable and definitely makes a profit. they prefer to buy bitcoin. maybe after the bullrun, the IEO started to look again.

absolutely right, now people think how to accumulate more bitcoin and top altcoins
because crypto market in green mode now, and for sure bitcoin will create new ATH in this year and altcoins will follow to create new ATH next year
I guess if you wanted to buy bitcoins right now, you missed the train. Currently bitcoin is in a positive bullish which means the price is already high, it's a different story if you buy it when the price range is still $ 8k-10k

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 19, 2020, 10:59:39 PM
Some old altcoin that are still alive but are not doing much activities because they have reached the saturation of the developmental phase. Now they can't move forward in that same trend unless thy change purpose entirely. Take profit whenever you are satisfied. Don't be too greedy.
Not quite true, the old coins had different strategies depending on their marketing. The most important thing is not to necessarily want excessive profit, too high expectations can make you fall. always take profit first
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank Digital Currencies - how will they be constructed? on: November 19, 2020, 11:31:07 AM
I don't think it's going to be Blockchain or anything similar to cryptocurrency/stablecoin. I think they will build it outside that so that they can still control the currency in the internet. CBDC aim is to just replace coins or banknotes or at least make an option to use money digitally.

I think that national digital currencies will not compete with the existing cash and non-cash currencies. They should act as a different form of national currency, which will also function on a par with cash. But at the same time, the government will gain more control over its citizens.
Yeah. If this is possible, they may still be using a centralized technology system to create their currency. They certainly also have to think about other things like the stability of the currency and won't let it get out of hand
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: November 19, 2020, 11:27:53 AM
Decentralization is naturally the opposite of centralization. However, in terms of finance, many people still use a centralized system because they think that the existing system is more credible, and in terms of decentralized technology, there are still not many large institutions that use this decentralized technology
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 19, 2020, 11:24:04 AM
I think it's best to hold altcoins now, the HODL season is back once again after few years of intense bearish market, I regret selling my bitcoin at 17k last night thinking it will be tough to see more uptrend but I was damn wrong, now all I have left is my altcoin portfolio, this isn't a time to be in haste, be patience and get the reward
But if you buy it at $3k, you've already made a fair amount of profit ). I think hodl only applies to bitcoin and other top coins, and for new coins or altcoins, only a few can be used for hodl (long-term investment)
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 19, 2020, 11:21:24 AM
Whales at in action on bitcoin right now, if you are smart you'd put your money on bitcoin right now, there will be good timing for altcoins too but now isn't the best time atleast not until bitcoin hits it's old All time high of 2017 again
Now? I think we are currently in a bullish period, and maybe if you invested now it would be a little too late. but who knows, many predictions that bitcoin could be $25k by the end of the year and bitcoin has also proven to be a profitable investment
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: November 19, 2020, 11:18:58 AM
There are several things to consider before investing in any project.
1, The problem they want to solve.
2, Who are the team members. (their profile and experience)
3, The roadmap/blueprint.
4, The infrastructure on ground etc
Positive answers from the above is will be a boost to invest in a project
Products and solutions are the main things that we must prioritize in a project, and the second is technology to realize these solutions. A project without a solution is only a project that is used to make quick profits
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more decentralized stablecoins on: November 18, 2020, 02:53:57 AM
USDT have faced many allegations in the past and they fought through them successfully, if USDT is crap or not safe do you think binance exchange will list them? This stable coin controls the highest liquidity and volume of all stable coins, isn't it because it's better?
Currently, perhaps usdt is the stablecoin with the strongest position. they have a good ecosystem and also have earned enough trust from the crypto community. and I think the current stable coin is enough, what we need now is a high quality project with a low coin fluctuation value
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 02:45:16 AM
The more scams that are happening, the more chances that the authorities will regulate crypto.
It isn't only in Nigeria that has scammers but all around the world.

Like I'm always saying, there will be no scammers if there are no investors who are willing to get scammed or I should say ignorant enough to get scammed to these new projects. They want profit?? There is no easy money here. Go invest into old coins and hold it.
Regulation will make the crypto market tighter than ever, it can be both positive and negative. I just hope that investors not only want quick profits, but also have to appreciate the process of a project. In certain cases, there are newbies who get scamed because they don't know how to do research on a project.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 18, 2020, 02:39:52 AM
There must be a certain impact because the president's role and influence is quite large. but we also have to see from the other side that the philosophy of crypto is decentralization, so crypto will still run
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 18, 2020, 02:37:03 AM
Product is first and foremost, no matter how many people are behind it. If what is offered is technological and in demand by society then it will be accepted and implemented and people will not wonder: "How many developers are there in the team?"
Yes, nowadays a lot of projects just copy-paste and follow trends without providing products that actually offer solutions. Maybe in the future, if someone want to release a project, they have to test the qualifications about the usefulness of the project or product, so that quality can be guaranteed
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 17, 2020, 10:01:38 AM
I think daytrading (on ethereum) is not suitable if you only have a small budget, looking at ethereum prices with quite "low" fluctuations I think that maybe you can day trade other top coins with higher fluctuations
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any project with coin distribution?? on: November 17, 2020, 09:49:22 AM
Nowadays, airdrops aren't profitable. But you can be sure that plenty amount of project is running coin/token distribution or airdrop. But 99% of them are scams. 0.9% of them aren't profitable comparing your time. Better you can participate in Bounty campaigns or Hodler Airdrops. Like DIA coin will airdrop in 2021. Read about DIA airdrop.

Many airdrop tokens become trash in wallets because they are not listed on exchangers, although I think there are also airdrops that have little value. I still remember the Uniswap airdrop and I think it was the biggest airdrop I have ever had
Yes, uniswap airdrop is considered to be one of the biggest. I don't really like airdrops because they have a fairly small value and are usually only to attract people's attention so they want to join social media for a certain project
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 17, 2020, 09:46:37 AM
Controlling greed is something that is quite difficult, where human nature is to always want to get profit. do thorough research, at least look at some news on social media, if you are a beginner don't be shy to ask someone who understands better so you won't be fooled
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 17, 2020, 09:43:36 AM

Very important to do first, research and follow if possible all the social media sites of the project that you are targeting to invest your money.

The more you know what's the plan of the developers the more chances that you will be able to position your entry and exit point, never to

buy aggressively, fomo will lead you to lose your investment be very patience within  the process.
Fomo will not necessarily make you lose your investment if you do your research properly. Patience is important in investing, but it's a different story if it's in crypto. crypto has high fluctuation and you have to have the right decision in a short amount of time
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES on: November 17, 2020, 09:40:25 AM
If you still have a thing for bounty hunting just accept how things are presently, changes may come in future but nothing is guaranteed in this space so learn to adapt and learn to choose the right projects and also limit your expectations too.
The most important thing is how you can do research on a project if you want to join a bounty. Everything is almost unpredictable in crypto, but atleast we can do some research to find good projects

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 06, 2020, 11:28:53 AM
Maybe for security reasons, sto is the best? only saw few projects doing sto and most of them are succes. i don't know because it's rare or something but sto sounds more safer and promising. But IEO also super profitable if they can make it to top exchange like binance launchpad
