I heard about security when combining DAG + Smart contracts on one platform is no better than a conventional smart contract platform. What does the project do to increase the security of these smart contracts?
The project is written in Scala, this is a new language but few people use it. What are we going to do to encourage developers to build DAPPs on top of Constellation?

Instead of smart contracts, the concept to application support is based on microservices, also known as state channels. These microservices are running in a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). In the future you will have an SDK to interact via an API. The goal is also to be language agnostic. So, currently, Bitmex is processing withdrawals in a way that is more regular than regularly? In other words, we (royal?) do not need to worry about the earlier fear expressed by WhalePanda that was reflected in your earlier post (depicted below)? Bitmex always do withdraws once a day at 13.00 UTC. There are two theories why they are doing withdrawals right now: 1) ease the panic 2) they dont know if they can proceed withdraws tommorow I hope its 1 lol
Btw i checked again regarding the multisig - their FAQ states it is a 2 of 3 multisig. So that means as long as they only jail one more guy its fine 
Bitmex earned over 1 billion $ in fees so far, they shouldnt have money troubles |

This is because derivatives on mex (in this case futures) can not only be used for degen trading but to hedge positions on spot markets as a risk management tool. This is usually what big traders do and when they unwind the trade on one side (bitmex) it has implications on the other side (spot market). |
