So libra will use investor and user funds to buy low risk assets like securities and debts.

Interest from above will pay investor dividends and ongoing expenses.

Weekly closed with a bullish engulfing, im expecting more green this week, atleast touching 10k.

My vote for 9000-9250 for todays close seems to be pretty good so far Cheesy
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 16, 2019, 02:52:16 PM
Well it's over 9000, which is of course impossible.

So what's the next hill to climb?

The first step is to touch 10000 (if we keep 10000, we go to the next step 11700)

Surely in 10000 many weak hands will cash, but the goal is 11700.

All this if there is no FUD or other shits.

Weekly resistance is around 9600, above that not much until 11k.

Though i personally believe 10k will be a big psycological hurdle.

5 digits zone, 50+% from ath etc pp.

I had a 190 E too,

I'm more interested in a Japanese Turbo Nutters Barge these days.

Jap FTW!

Any particular flavor?

Had 3 MR2's the 3rd one a MK3 with added turbo and intercooler oil cooler standalone ECU overbore sleved racebuilt engine forged everything etc. and the last was a Nissan 300zx Twin turbo, FAF!

*edit*  and if you meant the Merc, it was the racey one. Best ever looking Merc in my opinion

Nice. I like the look of the Mitsubishi GTO even if they are totally unloved by the public.

The MR2 sounds nuts.  A real sleeper.  Did you ever track it?  I bet it could hold its own against an Exige or Clubman which is saying something.

Watched too much the fast and the furious? Tongue

Im eying an audi sq5 right now, also pretty nice as a family car Cheesy
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: June 16, 2019, 02:11:34 PM
@Febo. No one knows. But clearly the miners have not been selling and might be mining at cost. I reckon this might change once more miners enter Grin?

Hash rate was decreasing until 10 days ago. Now is already on same levels as 2 months ago.

Higher price = more profitibility = more miners

Should the price keep going up we should see even more increase in network hash.

A bummer i didnt buy more at 25k ;(

In other news: interesting discussion on facebookcoin vs bitcoin:
https://www.barrons.com/articles/what-facebooks-cryptocurrency-push-means-51560539185

I agree with the following:
Quote
“There’s just not any innovation in it,” says Gabor Gurbacs, director of digital asset strategy at VanEck/MVIS. “It’s just Silicon Valley’s ongoing attempt to take bank profits from the financial services industry to Silicon Valley.”

In addition:
Quote
A spokeswoman for the Senate Banking Committee, which sent Facebook a letter last month with questions about the service, said Facebook has not yet responded to its questions.

I don't see how anyone can tolerate a single company non-public pseudo cryptocurrency.
Apart from being introduced by an entity with 2.4 bil users, it is basically the worse of both worlds (crypto and fiat).

Taken at face value (pegged to a fiat basket), it can literally destabilize dozens of smaller local currencies because given a choice, NOBODY will conduct in them vs some combo of main currencies.

Fully agree!

And after people realize that globalcoin is just a fake, they will turn to Bitcoin Smiley

This is just about advertising BTC to 2.4 billion ppl.  Grin

Like Hairy said, don't short bull markets.

It can work pretty well with proper risk management.

Just visualize:

The range we traded in the last 4 weeks was between 9100 and 7400.

Weekly close looks very ugly and points to a trend reversal.

We might revisit 6k range in the coming weeks/months.

We might and we might not, lol.

Im more on the bearish side right now.

65% going to 6k vs 35% going to 9k.

Im looking for a short entry here.

You still bearish, criptix?

Do you still assign a 65% chance that we will reach $6k before $9k?  or have your odds changed?

Did you enter a short, and if so was there a stoploss that got triggered?  Should be running tight stop losses, no?  Any margin trading "experts" want to chime in, here?

Stop loss not triggered yet, but was close. :S

8200 would be the turning point for me.

Right now im still letting my short open, but if we hold here i might just take the loss and close the position.

Will see what happens.

Regarding tight stops, it really depends you your leverage.

In this choppy market high leverage is suicide, i would not advise to use more then 3x, you also can hedge with a 1x short just in case.

Not surprised to see this come out of a middle eastern country. This isn't about the person that they're killing in the least, they don't even care about the crime he committed, they're trying to send a message to those that are going to riot and protest against their government that they will be facing death if they continue to act this way.

It's a pretty scary thing to think about. But this is what happens in these sorts of governments.

Hopefully the international community can fight back to ensure this doesn't happen now, and EVER again.

How?

Big bro USA has their back covered.

The US doesn't have their back covered.  The relationship is one of convenience. If there's a country the US has the back of it's Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Israel.

It isn't Saudi Arabia. And that "relationship" as it is will be less and less as time goes on. We're not as dependent upon their oil thanks to fraking and solar and wind are starting to assume a significant part of the world energy grid.

If the US (and other western countries) didn't do anything when Christians were falsely charged with blasphemy; if the US did nothing when Boko Haram  kidnapped hundreds; if the US and others did nothing when people were killed (throughout the Islamic world) for being gay or adultery or blasphemy or leaving their religion then why would you expect something to be done here?

You want to do something? Bitch to canadian and UK and US and German politicians for turning a blind eye to honor killings in their own country. That's something you can actually accomplish. Bitching about this does what?

Turning a blind eye on everything you listed above, selling and gifting them weapons, supporting them in wars.

Seems that is the definition of having their backs covered.

Cant really fight this shit at home if you support it on the global stage.

Selling arms isn't "having their back."

The global stage would be the UN and western people and organizations not backing down when it comes to defending apostates; to not condemning honor killing and not certainly by not caving by calling criticism of Islam and Sharia law "islamophobia."

Selling arms to a country? And what does that mean? That Saudia Arabia wouldn't have weapons? That all of a sudden they would be decent?

So, the US can tell Saudi Arabia that they can't do "x" because it violates human rights? Saudi Arabia would say it's acceptable according to Sharia and they don't give a fuk what we think.

You want to stick it to the Saudi Arabian way of thinking? This execution is a tiny, tiny, tiny little bit that's wrong with Islam. It's not unique to Saudi Arabia. It's highy prevalent in Yemin as well; and the UAE and Kuwait; and Iran; and Pakistan; and it's growing in Indonesia.

Are you noticing a pattern here?

In many places (UK I'm looking at you) if you speak up against the very legal rules that legitimize such actions then you can be declared to be Islamaphobic.

Be disgusted by this. Great. I am as well. What can be done? Criticize the legal doctrines (Sharia) that justify it. And then set people straight that criticizing these legal doctrines is legitimate and not "phobic".

Look at cuba, north korea, china, russia, iran, iraq, afghanistan, syria etc.

We can and do punish them by not abiding to the global rules - why cant we do the same with saudia arabia?

Hint: the reason is not fear of being called islamophob.

Btw. SA is the biggest contributor to wahabism, probaly the most radical movement of islam.

Countries can't even help themselves imagine having to help a whole continent far away that has far more problems. Is the poverty rate zero in America or Europe? Of course not, do we not have people dying here? Do we not have children starving? We do, clearly in lower rates but we do, how is it possible that in a 1st world country children are still dying from not eating, how do we still have people without houses? Yes I know some of them do not deserve them but there are far too many that do and have or had jobs and still can't pay for them.

Starving because you are poor doesnt exists in the first world.

Its basically a requirement for being first world.

Being homeless in western and northern europe is not possible either, only if you choose yourself to be homeless.

What a load of crap. In spain many families are thrown out of their houses : https://www.lasexta.com/programas/mas-vale-tarde/noticias/desahuciados-con-mas-de-70-anos-seguimos-sin-tener-una-ley-en-espana-que-garantice-el-derecho-a-la-vivienda_201809255baa6d7b0cf22905f4d3b147.html

If you need translation, the title literally says, Spain still has no law that guarantees the right to a house. The old couple didn't have enough money to pay the rent and couldn't do anything at 70 years old, they were thrown out of their home, you actually think they chose to? This is not one case either, it happened hundreds of times. Wake up.

Doesnt spain has social securities?

I.e. if you are cant afford a home in germany you just go the office for social welfare and get a appartment fully paid with everything you need to live - basically no questions asked.

Seems spain is not part of the first world then or you are posting fake news.

No, it seems that you refuse to look at reality, you are one of those people who think all homeless people are lazy and that's why they are homeless, spain is full of corruption just like many other 1st world countries, political parties steal hundreds of millions here, wake the fuck up bro.

Corruption exists everywhere.

It still doesnt reject the reality that you can instantly get food or a home via social welfare if you cannot afford it in the first world.

You can usually get food but not a home, although a lot of people do get homes here for free, not all of them do, why do you think they are homeless people then if they can simply get a home through social welfare? A lot of old people are getting thrown out of their homes here because they can't pay, do you think they wanted that? They worked their whole life to get thrown out, there are numerous stories about it.

Read my first post to you again.

People choose to be homeless else fucking social welfare pays them a home.

This is a fact in modern first world nations.

Young and old people who cannot afford to pay for themself can use social welfare and instantly get an appartment/house.

This is reality in all western and northern european states (it seems spain would count as a southern european nation which does not provide this)

Its not the reality even though you might think so, also healthcare and education are quite bad in many 1st world countries, romania, bulgaria but even in Spain, i had an appointment with my cardiologist in 7 months from now, i had to go to a private one.

Bulgaria and romania first world, gotcha.

Looks we found the base of the problem lmao.

Yes i agree, education in spain seems to be terrible.
