We were expecting a 30% drop for a correction.

It happened, but it lasted for only some minutes, which confirms we are still in a bull market.

The bears got out of their cave and are parading in the streets, drunk and screaming victory. Funny.

Thats very true, indeed.

Just one 3600 BTC sell order at Bitstamp and everybody goes loosing their head..  bear market back and the nonsenses...

We are at mondays price.. Oh drama!

yep ..this is how Bitcoin 'rolls' as it were...

myself, (maybe it is just wishful thinking) but after such a massive pump, is not a massive correction good in the long term? I mean folk take the profits of the

pump and it corrects and we move on? Such pumps without a correction of the equivalent noteworthiness of depth...usually means a dump and then sideways?

We will see chump or champ we will be the first to know. Smiley

7K coin a couple of months ago was just a dream in my mind....( I was despondent and such) Sad

later

Yes retraces are good.

Because usually they make new and strong (bag)holders Cheesy

People take profit (really) and its much better to have a healthy distribution along all the price increases.

Edit:

Im still expecting 6200 and then going up again.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 17, 2019, 04:23:45 AM
I expected a 30% retrace starting at 8400.

But this price action was ridiculous.

At one point like 400$ spread on mex...

So far we bounced back to 7300+, but i still believe/hope we gonna see low 6k or high 5k.

Edit:

Low on stamp was 6170.

Wie hat eigentlich die AI in den letzten Tagen/Wochen abgeschnitten? Hier wird ja grundsätzlich in USDT getradet, und da muss ja mindestens 10% drinnen gewesen sein?

Wieso denn das? O.o

China officially banned corrections and dips  Grin
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: May 12, 2019, 03:11:02 AM
I can't find the post now but I think theymos mentioned that it was 5 in 2 months. It's been ~4 months now so perhaps it's up to 10 Smiley. I was considering paying with grin for my bot account but it was just too much hassle to bring up my semi-cold wallet... ended up paying with BTC.

It was just an initial burst, there's only been one more since then. 6 out of 1166 total payments.

Someone just today reported to me that they were unable to send an amount with grin's 9-digit precision. It sounds like whatever wallet they were using only supported 8-digit precision. They haven't yet responded to my question as to which wallet it was. If it's a very popular wallet, maybe this has impacted people's ability to pay via grin.

I still think grin has value to lose since it's so inflationary. In early 2020, inflation will settle down a bit and apparently a GUI will be released, so that's a good guess at an inflection point. But inflation will still be a huge influence for a long time, so I'm not really expecting it to explosively "moon". For example, I think it'll take years to reach $20 again, assuming it survives long enough to do so.

A bit OT, but did you donated the 50 btc?  Wink
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: April 30, 2019, 04:16:17 PM
Why the heck are you people talking about $ value?

Makes zero sense for grin.

50k sat broke, we are looking for a new bottom :S

Why is it zero sense? Miners pay for their mining costs in fiat. The lower grin's value in fiat, the more coins the miners require to dump and the more pressure that creates on the market.

Grin is priced and traded in and with satoshis, not in fiat.

Grins fiat price is 100% relative to the btc/usd pair.

We can go up oe down in fiat while grin/btc stays the same.

If miners are unprofitable they will have to shut off at one point and this makes mining more profitable for the rest of the miners who are still alive.

wer hat's kaputt gemacht?!

Extended to 16:00 (GMT) on Monday, the 29th of April 2019. Thanks for your patience.  Undecided
Hoffen wir nicht das Schlimmste -> Exitscam  Huh

100% nein.

Es scheint wohl irgendetwas mit den binance logs nicht zu stimmen, aber genau weiß ich es auch nicht.

Aber einen exit scam würde ich kategorisch ausschließen.

50k  was broken long ago. Yesterday it got to 40k. This is to be broken next.

Yep i know.

What i mean to say is that the 50k bottom hopium is done and the real bottom needs to be found.

Commies got definitely some correct points wrt the usa.

Since the US became the world super power the game was either submit to the US or get bombed to the stoneage.

Being bombed to the stoneage and being communist at the same time is probaly the worst possible combination ever.

Edit:

Being bombed to the stoneage doesnt necessary involve real bombs and rockets.
393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Multiple Bomb blasts in Srilanka - churches and hotel. on: April 21, 2019, 11:16:31 PM
....
All the videos about this terror attack immediately had "They are not real Muslims" and "Hindus did it" comments flooding them. Denial. You can't solve the problem if you refuse to face it and right now Islam have a BIG problem.

35,000 Islamic terror attacks since 9/11, and there are still large numbers of people who do not "get it."

They hear about one, think how tragic it is, then forget about it with a barrage of "newer news" that they are supposed to think about.

Then, predictably, the next terror attack occurs...

Its because we are good christians:

Bull tarp or 5300 dumper out of ammo?

395  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NK State media: NK tested a "tactical guided weapon" on: April 18, 2019, 10:22:54 AM
The United States government does not act the same way the NK government acts, not by a large margin. When the US goes to war, it goes to great lengths to prevent civilian casualties. Wars, and military conflicts the US has been involved in over the past century have had the goal of solving other peoples problems, such as overthrowing tyrants, and dictators, and to stop the spread of communism/socialism, that has killed hundreds of millions of people over the past century.

I dont think most people will agree to that:

I think this is what people call american exceptionalism. Smiley
