3600 watts does 1800 mh with gpus

These asics. Claim

3600 watts and 6000 mh

Bitmain claims

2800 watts and 3300 mh

Either one   crushes  gpus.

It is strictly  about how many they make as they bury gpus.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for bear market to build rigs once again on: April 27, 2021, 12:49:37 PM
I just got the new price of the 3060 12gb, 1200 usd where I live, last week was 800 usd. I guess the way things are, idiots will end up paying 5000 usd for a 3090 and 4000 for a 3080, even the old rx 570 4gb is being sold for almost a 1000 usd and idiots are buying. This crash will be epic, very soon this same 3060 sold for 1200 usd will be sold for 200 usd and lower.

But if you are patient and do not buy way over priced gear. Mine with what you have there is good money on the table.

I figure the op is good for six months. If the market does not crash in six months but crashes 10 months he made a mistake. If the .market crashes in under six months he was smart.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new and improved BTC difficulty thread inclusive of every coin no censorship. on: April 26, 2021, 02:01:06 PM
As of now we are 240 blocks off pace. That is about a -12% drop.

I am guessing  we may only end up dropping 10% and around 200 blocks off pace.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: [WO] Meat Maximalism on: April 26, 2021, 01:53:44 PM
What a meaty thread.  I should feast later, though it’s too bad that SwayStar123 mistook my sincere attempt to engage with her constructively as an invitation to Argue On The Internet.  No wonder this is such an extremely toxic community!  Helpfulness is unacknowledged; and fresh perspectives are merely an opening for knee-jerk reactions, instead of an opportunity to learn something new.  Sad!

As for the whole meat thing...I suspect that the media is working in overdrive as they support the NWO plan on getting us all to eat cockroaches. I just can't believe that people on this board are spouting off the propaganda as if it's all true. People who know how much they lie about Bitcoin and still believe their lies about meat. It's a damn shame. Maybe the media has been too kind to Bitcoin...it was perhaps a better filter when it was being attacked as just being used for drugs on the darkweb.

It is religiosity.  People who leave traditional religions (or are raised without them) usually find a modern substitute.  theymos has his transhumanism, for example.  Hereby lately, I have also been ignoring a quasi-religious theological war between the Marxist wealth redistributors, and the Reformed Capitalists who repose their faith in the godliness of the free market; there is not much sense on either side.

Veganism is attractive to those with Puritanical tendencies, such as those with a prior history of demanding the deletion of the Wall Observer.  It is based on self-denial of things that are healthy and pleasurable.  It is loaded with thou shalt not.  Meat is sinful.  Vegans now even have a doomsday eschatology:  Cow farts are literally destroying the world!

Cf. my previous observations on Greta Thunberg and the Children’s Crusade.

Now, take a walk through the religions of the past and present, and see how many more or less deprecate the eating of meat.  Comparison and contrast is left as an exercise to the reader.

Quote from: Nietzche (tweaked by nullius), Twilight of the Idols
He looked like a caricature of man, like an abortion: he had become a “sinner,” he was caged up, he had been imprisoned behind a host of appalling notions. He now lay there, sick, wretched, malevolent even toward himself: full of hate for the instincts of life, full of suspicion in regard to all that is still strong and happy.  In short a “Christian.” “vegan.”

disgusting. you meat lovers are fucking psychos.

You do understand that without meat you wouldn't exist or if you would, you wouldn't be able to put together an intelligent line of words?

Fact check:  He can’t put together an intelligent line of words.  Evidence is above.

Anyway...

Vegans, as most liberals and other religious fanatics, are evolution deniers who believe in human exceptionalism.

The cat hunts mice, the wolf hunts deer, the lion hunts gazelle—but o talking monkey, thou shalt not.

In truth, talking monkeys are only exceptional inasmuch as their brains swelled up until they became stupider than other animals.

Bitcoin down 25% last week and this place is discussing meat.

Yawn.  It will be back up.  Hey, didn’t I say that Bitcoin is boring (and that’s a good thing).

Thank me later for the increase in discord brought by my innocent little quote from the founder of the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute.  Meat is totally on-topic in any Bitcoin thread!

All issues of plant eating good and meat eating bad are bs.

All vegans need to abstain from fucking.
They can do blow jobs muff jobs hand jobs and rim jobs.

If every  vegan was sincere they would see the truth in the statement above
.

THEY could save the world by not making it crowded.

I HAVE YET TO SEE VEGANS ADVOCATING MY Simple METHOD TO SAVE THE World.😁
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining without GPU drivers on: April 24, 2021, 03:21:04 PM
there is not much to say. is there a way to mine without gpu drivers

Sure buy an asic miner. A used bitmain s9 will do the trick.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new and improved BTC difficulty thread inclusive of every coin no censorship. on: April 22, 2021, 09:20:32 PM
Do one will  be deleted other than fuck you blow  bitch style comments or death threats or threats of physical harm.

If a post does do the above I will quote it archive it then delete it.

If a scammor spammer posts I will do same.

I decided a long time ago that I do like pow coins with well backed asics.

As it is why I mine.

I think bitcointalk is suffering for being too old in the minds of many.

I HEAR a lot of boomer type remarks this shows that many think of bitcointalk as an oldie like a boomer.

I do not begrudge anyone that wants to willfully exclude all mining of coins other than btc. Their choice  not mine.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: April 22, 2021, 01:37:12 AM

Nope no gpu for me.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 3-4 videocards in a regular computer case - is it possible? on: April 20, 2021, 03:01:11 PM
It is doable. But why not make two two card rigs.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: April 16, 2021, 04:53:15 PM
Doge squeeze is still ongoing. Shorters are paying almost 1% a day in interest to long and in the last 24 hours there was over $750 Million in liquidations on Doge alone. The 24hour volume on Doge was higher than the SPX index.

Its pretty crazy how this is going, if we see $1 doge I wouldnt be surprised. Man do I feel like an idiot for selling all my doge at like 50 sats last year. There is also another guy in another thread which dusted off his KnC Titans and is back to mine Doge again.

Crazy times. Makes me nervous we might be at a top soon.

Shuffle up in 20min

Hope they are going to let me spend my doge money

Just got shot 1  of pfizer vaccine.

Wish me luck.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: April 13, 2021, 12:57:30 AM
Even with USD missing Ath it did add a third 60k number.

We have a lot of 50k numbers so adding a lot  60k numbers would be nice.

I WOULD LOVE  to see a streak of 10  or more 60k numbers happening right now.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 11, 2021, 09:05:56 PM

/snip

I need the room for parts! House is too full with mining parts.

Nice, I like the design, about the same prices as here, I'm in the same situation, my house is full of stuff, need somewhere to store it.

I'd recommend getting rid of some of your stuff instead (or as well). If you can't fit all of your stuff into your house, it might suggest that you have too much stuff (although I confess to having no knowledge of your personal situation). I moved abroad and then back again a long time ago and on each move I got rid of about half of my possessions. I'm by no means a minimalist but it's incredibly liberating to only possess those things which you need or which have real meaning or use value. It's crazy that the rental of storage space is a multi-billion dollar industry, fuelled mainly by people's unwillingness to part with superfluous possessions.

Well there is truth in what you say. But I have been doing btc stacking and mining to do it.

I simply have a real need for PC-asic-etc parts meters and tools.
It took me years to get good power deals. And I now need to support the farms with storage spaces.

I must admit I do pack rat a bit.  But I simply am in need of space. I filled the house during covid-19 lockdowns and do not want to see the stuff any more.

My rma powercolor 5700xt arrived today

I clocked it lower si nce I do not want it to break again.

Wainting on my 3070
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Power efficiency question on: April 06, 2021, 02:00:23 PM
Every miner should own a kill a watt meter to measure power pulled from the wall outlet.

They are well under 30 usd.
When you realize 4 x 1660 cost over 2000 usd having a meter to test your power draw is common sense.

Atx psu do not like drawing more Than 80% 24/7/365
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is a Bear a Bull or a Minotaur ? What is our market right here right now. on: April 06, 2021, 01:54:01 PM
Never heard of a Minotaur but a buffalo run is a stampede that draws the herd to panic and go over a cliff, market slaughtered Tongue    Hopefully a rare occurrence, the native Americans used to hunt this way to survive the winter.n  This type would probably relate to the end of a bear move where people sell just because others have, herd behaviour or similar top of a bull move where the highest prices occur with blind buying on the basis its already risen so much.   The current market is quite questioning and we pull back every now again so this condition does not appear to be present.

It is part bull and part human. An old mythical beast.

Thus is should be smarter than a stampeding bull.

Man, the 59-60k range is proving to be a right pain in the ass

It is a beautiful plateau get used to it.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: April 02, 2021, 02:18:35 PM
Well over time we moved from top 20 to top 100.

If we keep on stACKING  high numbers we need a bigger boat.

My gut tells me 150 days  above 29k is happening.  Very likely we go sideways with upward bias until 2022.  If so we need a bigger boat. So to speak.

Do I think dec 31 price is the best number . Maybe maybe not  but it is easy and convenient
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 02, 2021, 02:07:08 PM
wtf. I bought fNTF for 1000 bitcoin and they are all gone! such a scam.

I sold all of mine for 9000 btc and I am now missing 9000 btc damn!

chain rollback?
that is worth a few merits.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2021, 02:01:15 PM
This is our time

Our time to watch the institutional investors stampeding over each other for the last BTC spread across hundreds of exchanges. Microstrategy and Tesla have started this snowball where every fund or corporation is now shaking in their boots, thinking: What if our competitors are buying BTC ? They will start with a conservative 10% treasury allocation and once they'll fully understand blockchain, they will start fomo-ing in larger percentages.

This is what we've been expecting since the early 2010's. We fucking did it!

no not yet but close.

once we crest over 100k and simply stay there with sideways and slowing upwards trends we will be there.

The 2001 to 2008 DowJones was all bull a 7 year run.  I have zero idea how long this bull run will be but maybe just maybe we can see a real long run here 2+ years so sideways and slowly upwards would mean a maturing of the market.

I can still see 7-11 trillion as the longterm goal as BTC becomes the new gold.

And space mined gold is simply a far more common useful metal.

"no not yet but close.

once we crest over 100k and simply stay there"

You make little sense. I'm talking about fundamentals and the institutional stampede that is happening right now and you're countering me with some magical number that "you" think will bring maturity to the market. Huh ?  Huh

the problem is the fundamentals you are using are worthless. There are no magical numbers to be found with your charts and fundamentals.

Case in point show me any stock that has done the rise in value that bitcoin has done since 2009 to 2021.  The answer is no such comparable exists.  Thus all fundamentals you are using are wrongly applied.

Since no stock has behaved in the pattern of btc.

But I realize that much like a horse and buggy owner apply your fundamentals if they make you feel safe from the horseless carriages.

WE ARE ENTERING A NEW AGE.  We simply are not quite there yet.

I DO SEE why me picking a flat number like 100k can upset you.

So the new floor we be 100 k the bull run has more then 6 to 9 months left. We will peak near 160k and slowly retreat back close to 100k. At this point there will be a lone sideways action. IT will end when Musk and NASA Tell us about gold mining.
Asteroid gold mining will alter gold to a different status. As it will allow for 100 year or more batteries. Solar will take over bigly as the battery replacement issue for true off grid will be gone. Btc mining will be the primary force behind cheaper energy.

The industry will mature and flat line. The next plateau is the 100-160 range. The eventual plateau is 750k in today's dollars. That is about 20 years to 30 years from now.

Do yourself a favor and do not try using fundamentals to predict btc price levels.

And do not knock magical thinking when it comes to BTC
