I have downloaded the Wallet for Windows, but it does not work, only windows appear but the Wallet Gui does not appear.
How should i do?
Any help? This might be your computer's antivirus removing parts of the wallet because it looks like "mining" software. You might have better results if you mark the download as safe or check your antivirus and Windows Defender to be sure the wallet was not quarantined. |

Out of sync (for wallet and recent transactions areas when at three weeks behind present time)
That is around the time I made the recovery zip file so it might need to be updated since the receiver files are all different now. I downloaded the windows wallet from devcoin.org today and tried to full sync again. It is still stopping at receiver_48.csv and hanging there CTYA |

I was just wondering what the status is on getting a DVC market up on CoinsControl. I was not able to find a DVC market either in BTC or LTC, but it's possible I missed it. Does anyone have a link to any DVC market on CoinsControl?
Coinscontrol listing was delayed again for wallet sync trouble. Just received word back from Devtome Administrator. They do not want to see DevTome lost either and will aid in any way that they can. It is costing them at the moment to host it.

So it seems that we need to offer some bounties for 1) Ongoing hosting of the devtome.com server 2) Ongoing Administration of the Devtome.com server (since it might be different than the hosting provider) 3) Coordination between existing and new devtome.com administrators and the migration of data from the old and new servers What bounty values are we proposing for these ? I am definitely for Devtome to continue to remain in service. I wish there was a way it could be better monetized and revitalized.
I can integrate devtome with STEEM, so that users can receive STEEM and SBD tokens for their original content published via devtome.com, DVC bounty for authors will remain the same. I think nobody is unhappy with more profits  Would you do that using the doku wiki platform it is using now, or would you need something else? |

Which content do you want to have moved from devtome?
It is my assumption that the devcoin community would like the devtome.com doku wiki to remain in service. Please make your opinions known. If that assumption is correct, then we would need to export the doku wiki from the current server to a new server. |

I have control of the devtome.com domain but not any control of the server hosting the content
The devtome.com domain name remains pointed at the same server as of now, but without control of server administration we are at risk of losing that resource
Anyone interested or able to get the content from the devtome.com server please send a message to me so that we can coordinate moving it to a resource controlled by devcoin admins

Also, it looks like the domain is abandoned. This will bring the peers down to 3 to start, which is good because it should be an odd number. Done! Great to see this get cleaned up Another problem for new wallet syncing is the receiver file hosts for each of the receiver files Specifically receiver_28.csv and receiver_20.csv because devcoin receiver.h requires more than 50% of the receiver hosts to maintain the same receiver file and that just isn't the case for those two receiver files. It may become a problem for other receiver files as well as receiver file hosts fall out of commission or go unmaintained The workaround is to download a copy of the receiver files to your machine so that devcoin doesn't need to check the validity The real solution is to replace all of the hosted receiver file "peers" section with up-to-date peers with the correct files. This requires all new receiver hosts lists and some coordination but it would solve the wallet sync issues for new users |

I wouldn't trust C-cex with a bottle top.
You and the rest of the devcoin community should take a look at the rest of the list and let me know if there are others you view negatively so I can skip them. I did already, 20 days ago..... I would advise against c-cex - after going "on holiday" for a month leaving users unable to access their coins they seem to have done a Yoshit: ignoring tickets, abandoning their BCT thread & multiple reports of missing deposits/withdrawals - check out their thread, it's nasty. I tried to mine with an old miner and I am unable to connect, are you guys having the same issues with more modern miners? Its a shame this pool never became more popular, it was one of the better ones around with all the merge mined coins.
Had some connection issues on March 1 but seems to be ok now with old miners and new miners |
